Is COMM still alive and kicking ? I know this coin had a really big community base but they have seemed to all fade away....
Maybe they can band together and revive it if there is still any of them left or maybe jump ship to another Free Community based coin like FWEE for instance, wouldn't you like some free fwee ? hahahaha
COMM is dead! Delete your wallet.dat e forget this. Is better. I think FWEE is headed in the same direction as COMM... No Buyers, No Interest, No Use... It is very sad to see community projects die. Clone coins which offers nothing will always eventually die. yea.. mostly Isn't that what altcoins are all about.... how much of a community you can bring in to make it successful with a use & last a while like DOGE. Kind of... New coins should be about New innovations... Not how much one can hype it up. Doge doesnt really have a use, it is popular but there is nothing special about it. It's not far from the bitcoin-core. Doge has no significant different use than bitcoin does. Other coins such as Burst, Sia, NEM, etc... are all bringing new ideas and innovations to the table. Whether they have a community backing (or not so much, like QORA) the intrinsic value of the coin relies on much more than "what people are willing to pay for it".

If QORA gets forked, what happens to my old coins? They are currently stuck on an exchange but I'm hopeful that I will retrieve them soon. Will they still exist after the fork?

does this update require resyncing the blockchain?
No. It can and will use any previously downloaded data and your previously used wallets as it did before. cheers

If an exchange says a withdrawal has processed, but is not on the block explorer - and have messaged support about it with no reply. How do I go about fixing the situation?
Make sure your wallet is synced there was some problems with the blockchain reloading. Managed to get the wallet working apparently (wwhich I thought was the problem) Then i saw the block explorer and the transaction that was supposed to be processed does not even appear on the blockchain It will be stuck at the exchange then and should show back up in your account. What is the TX? It's weird, the exchange says it's been processed. From Processing to Completed: 2016-09-12 11:32:53 TX: 5eQ1aD7X5pjz4snJZvxU3fiLiaZYpo8EpX21E48YMJbW4uwB8F2R3ikjLgQDbhYJaZve5ZH8fW64Mhb vi6XYkoZe Now a week ago, QORA is being de-listed from the exchange... Currently it is for withdrawals only - but my withdrawal is lost in space

Step 1: Make sure the client is updated and synced. - Back it up too! Step 2: Get 50,000 SiaCoin from an exchange and transfer them into your wallet. Step 3: Unlock your wallet (Not needed on updated client) Step 4: Forward Ports to either :9981 or :9982 Step 5: In the Hosting tab click "Announce" - this can take a few hours to propagate the network. Step 6: Set your file contract price - remember it is a market so you may have to be competitive to get contracts

It's weird. Wallet will say "synchronized" but its not. I've followed the steps that were posted earlier in the thread.
Ive updated java se ive deleted qora completely - data directory and all Re-downloaded latest Qora version, and data zip provided Import my wallet Unzipped data into data directory Wait to sync
What am I missing?
I see my addresses, the wallet says "synchronized" but 0 coins..
Also whenever i try to use the block explorer the last transaction that i can see appears to be in may. <---- Many people say "No its working, the last transaction is **/**/**** so its working" but it is definitely not working for me..
I understand that things have to be working locally before using things like the block explorer successfully. Just trying to figure out how to get it working locally.
This blockexplorer is up to date: http://qora.tech:9090/index/blockexplorer.htmlif you are synchronized you can also use the local blockexplorer http://localhost:9090/index/blockexplorer.htmlif you don't see your coins in both cases they are probably not there. If you sent them using the exchange ask them, they probably did not send them or send them on a fork. Skerberus - Thank you! If an exchange sends your coins on a fork, are they lost?

If you save the qora seed in a safe place, is that all you need to back up your qora wallet?
