101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Police Seize $1.5 Million in FIFA Gambling Crackdown on: July 01, 2019, 08:11:42 AM
Wow looks like the Chinese are even using crypto to gamble locally, that's somewhat exciting news. The more use it gets there, the better.

Is there legislation in China about using crypto to gamble or is this just strict government control with no oversight going on?
Chinese government will only do things that favour its citizens and it is in public domain that they are fighting cryptocurrency but at the back end its citizens used cryptocurrency more than any country. I know that once china stop attacking crypto we would see great upward movement and for them to keep control of the market that is why we see this type on news time to time.

There could be a manipulation of current situations of crypto, that's why it seems so hard for price movement in achieving towards higher price. Chinese government is doing that in order to strategize the scenario, but if their citizens loved and prefer using crypto for gambling I guess no way for them to suppress it. Crypto will stand out and provide more opportunities to all.
102  Economy / Speculation / Re: Downward Trend on: July 01, 2019, 12:18:33 AM
Is current crypto downward trend only temporary?
I think so, this should be temporary because we are soon to end the year 2019 and the bull trend should start again for us no to fall on another bear market. We can’t say its just a temporary downtrend, as far as the chart movement is concern we are still on uptrend but we might see the sideways over the months.

The situation repeats itself as, and same situation was happening all over again. There's no stable market right now, and if you've observed some declination of market value of your assets, don't be disappointed. Eventually we will survive this, and you will be able to sustain even though the gradual market change will randomly fluctuate then recover back the loss.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A new kind of scam in telegram using gambling site on: June 30, 2019, 10:11:52 PM
Thank you for sharing, this scam shit has become a trend and everyone is being target of them. Couple of days ago, I also had faced something like that but I didn't response him much. Some also creates a site and make a lucrative deposit bonus for you. That's also a scam.

Glad that you don't get scam by him. Yes, we need to be careful from them, and we need to be aware and always search if we get some news that we don't know. Don't click any links we got without doing research. Scamming itself will always search for the new target and usually, they use the new people who don't have much information about crypto or else so they can easily to trick and scam that people. We need always to remind new people so they can be aware too and be careful of any suspicious links or website.

Yes, this is very rampant these days and this actually alarming and disturbing for all who used telegram. The purpose of telegram was hampered because of this scheme that could scam the legit users. We can help the community to be much cautious on this matter by taking further actions, having telegram group that will spread warnings all around telegram community. Gambling site is not liable for this, it's only the scapegoat of the cyber criminals.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Capital on: June 30, 2019, 09:00:56 PM
as for me it would be better to use gambling capital received from your internet earnings. so you don't use your main salary and money for living.

Money is money. When you keep earning but spend money saved up before it's no different from spending money earned but keeping the saved up part. All your movables and immovables are under your control and can be spent at any time. The important thing is not to get carried away and spend too much! Wink

Indeed, spending too much with unnecessary things would corrupt your Budget for incoming days. When you gamble your extra money, then you needed to set aside a budgeted capital to considered as typical funds for entertainment or recreation.
Money isn't worked for just to let it sleep, it must be circulated towards the economy and used for other important purposes intended for living.

106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: June 26, 2019, 07:59:14 PM
Gambling losing streak,

I’m into gambling for about months now, and in my first game I was able to generate profit enough to be happy, I continued for the rest of my 4 weeks of playing, sometimes its breakeven but I know its ok.

My friend invited me to play with him in casino this time, I have enough money to play for so I decided to say yes. Bad luck comes to me this time, at first my loss was about $500, so I know it is still fine and decided to continue, but the moment we stopped I think its too late now since I’ve already loss $3000, a very bad day for me. I’ve lost the money I’ve worked hard for.

This is an eye opener situation for me, and I’ve realized that gambling was slowly eating my brain and my money. Now I’m broke but still kickin, this can be the proof that chasing your losses is not good at all and it should be avoided. Have the same experience with me? Don’t hesitate to share and give some thoughts for those who are suffering from sitution like this.  Sad

That's why it's important to play with some rules...

*Never gamble with money that you are not ready to lose.
*set a goal because if you don't have a goal, then is hard to know when to stop.
*If you don't feel good or aren't having fun, better take a walk.
This rule is very helpful, before you gamble just practice and accept it first if what will be the possibility may happen. So if you gamble you know some limitations, dont expect too much in gambling, and there are two things should happen you may lose or you win.
Yes it is true there is no need to take tension about gambling you can win or you cam lose but don’t take it on your health, just have patience and try to gamble with fun, when you gamble just stay calm and put your full effort, in gambling knowledge matters allot if you have knowledge about the game you are playing, you will be able to enjoy it and will be able to play with fully fun.

It's good to have fun despite of having no assurance of winning, but we can't stop the probability of being emotional after losing huge amount of money in gambling. Although you're having fun at first, yet you eventually forgot how to control yourself that's why you tend to be addicted. You've been control financially and emotional which is your brain that's associated with emotions.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hospital That Treats Bitcoin Gambling Addicts? on: June 23, 2019, 03:44:00 PM
There is a hospital in Scottish that treats people that are bitcoin addicts or some who are addicted to bitcoin gambling.

Crypto trading or bitcoin gambling can be considered is a classification of behavioral addiction, with investors are always checking the coin graph and those who keep betting until they get bitcoins. If you knew yourself is being addicted to gambling, it's time to go to this hospital.

This is first time we will see  a disease termed as "Bitcoin addiction"  Wink
Addiction is already classified in medicine and they is already a meditation exist for addiction. But that is in general addiction of anything like smoking etc. (and not particularly the bitcoin addiction).

There is? How does that even work and do they target general addiction? I doubt that would do anything for gambling or crypto investments at all, seems like a silly thing overall.

There is no rocket science in this. They do not have to establish a separate bitcoin addiction section. They could just add another category in addiction category and that will serve the purpose.

Addiction wasn't an escape of being drown with gambling, if you made such mistakes that brought you to become financially struggling now be responsible enough to rehabilitate yourself. Although there's some individual that hasn't able to become mature enough to face the consequences, maybe the hospital isn't a solution despite of being addicted.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you gamble? on: June 21, 2019, 03:18:13 AM
I gamble because I wanted to enjoy much more about money as expected to doubled or tripled depending on your luck. Having fun with it is really awesome when there's enough amount of money to used as an investment, but without it I guess I wouldn't think of doing this kind of thing.
Gambling in reality has no assurance of winning all the time, but I tend to have fun despite of the disadvantages. Most important to know is always be a responsible gambler and don't get addicted to, learn how to have self limitations behind the fun that you're having with gambling.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: May 16, 2019, 06:33:41 AM
Market is now starting to upsurge, but my advise would be to tell newbies to first build a foundation of awareness and understanding about Bitcoin and on how it works so they will be able to acquire knowledge and skills that are applicable to start investing on the said field. Doing research, reading, studying, and exploring new ideas can greatly help them guide to venture the world of investment. I would also advise them to embrace the reality of investment that it carries a certain level of risks and losses, and to never be afraid to fail, instead learn from every mistake and make it as stepping stone to succeed. Invest when you're prepared and learn to control ones emotions.
110  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rises very fast! on: May 15, 2019, 02:47:50 AM
Indeed a 100% profit can be made on 2 months but people who not have money to invest then they not make a profit and also people who buy on ATH will need to wait more to make a profit, but now the price drop again we don't know for sure how much will grow.
This is not a price drop in Bitcoin because market value is depends on current demand of the market condition. So if you analyse properly you will know the price storing time and market value fixing so this is the good time for price raising. All the right crypto currencies are continuous improvement in future market.
indeed it has decreased by a few percent, but when compared with the increase it is very inversely. still very far away if you think that prices will decline again. look at the difference in increase and decrease. opportunities to increase again are still very large and all we need to do is make the best possible opportunities by investing Bitcoin. don't panic sell because it will only make the market worse.
Have the big days for bitcoin is really coming today, those few dumps will be at its normal happening in a decentralized form of market. It looks good now and people are getting profiting from a long time. I believe there is more increase will happen rather than of decrease, and I'm too positive that we can break $10k sooner. It's a long wait to have this thing but it is worthy enough of waiting.
Volatility has long been its trend but it should not always be viewed as disadvantageous because it still can potentially deliver positive outcome. It has its ups and downs but surely it can recover from crash. Stay patient, price is constantly increasing, don't lose hope. Don't be too rush, don't be too quick to decide, it takes time for the market to bounce back.
111  Economy / Economics / Re: Why everyone learn from Warren Buffett? on: May 14, 2019, 02:25:06 AM
Warren Buffett is the greatest investor of all time, he's also one of the best teachers of investing. He's a very influential person and many look up to him. With his expertise, knowledge, skills, and number of experiences he has contributed a lot in the field of investment that are very helpful and informative. Moreover, it's still very important to continue learning and exploring for more ideas inorder to make creative decisions.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Rising, Scams Rising on: May 13, 2019, 11:43:33 AM
I don't like to get something instant like a big profit investment in a flash and some kind of phishing, that's why I was spared in scammers. Scammers will roam a lot when the market is bullish so be careful.
As the technology is advancing, scammers are also becoming smarter into formulating techniques and strategies on how to have their victims get trapped. They are great at mimicking, so don’t believe everything you see. Don’t be pressured to act immediately, scammers typically try to make you think something in a limited time offer. Make safety and security as the topmost priority, with the appropriate knowledge and skills, you can avoid most scams and help protect yourself and your family.
113  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: May 12, 2019, 11:19:53 AM
Selling or buying investments ?
As a bitcoin trader the hardest decision that we can ever take is , selling our beloved cryptocurrency and this is preety hard because of :-

1.   Our emotions
2.   Our lack of knowledge
3.   Hope !

Well you all can relate to the fact that whenever we are into selling something, we take hasty decisions, generally if the price is falling and we lack patience and even if we are scared that this can go worse in the future we generally sell and then regret moments later when we see it climbing ladder.
Even if the price is going great and its increasing we generally tend to regret if we sell it and the price continues to grow.
This is really hard once our emotions are involved with our investments.
I think that the best thing we can do is separate our emotions with our investments. We should kind of make a pact to never regret any decision that we ever made because in the words of Victoria Holt “never regret, if it was good , its wonderful and if its bad, its experience.”
I think what’s important is taking into account every single detail in the market regarding our investment and at the same time emotionally detaching our minds and making stable decisions and that’s what makes a investor successful.
Also someone has truly said “the investment market takes money from the hasty one and gives it to the patient one”

Emotion is the main reason why most of the traders cried in the end of their trading in the market. And that is because they being controlled by their emotions, or even they control their emotions but lack of knowledge still in the end they will loss their coins. Therefore, for us to be a good investors We must be wise and investing crypto here.

There are a plenty of things that many great investors have in common. Having the right temperament, the ability to value assets, and an appropriate understanding of risk can help develop skills, knowledge and experience. Good investors consistently work at investment, they study and they learn, better investing doesn't happen accidentally.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still bother to engage non Bitcoiners? on: May 11, 2019, 10:06:02 PM
Are you still embroiled in debates with friends and internet creeps or have you let it slide?

Yes. But rather than friends or internet creeps, I consider them valued colleagues. And rather than crypto in nature, more so the specific attributes of specific chains. Over on the WO.

::zing!::

But to your point, debate? No. I stopped arguing with the ignorant years ago. I state my counterpoint and my visions for the horizon one time, and let the rest slide. Genuine questions from them will yield genuine answers. If pressed, I may inform them that I still own way more Bitcoin than I have ever sold. This will either impress them with my earnestness, or dismay them with what they perceive as my irrationality. I don't much care which.

eta: Though if the topic of conversation turns to money, I'm sure to plant a seed. As well as implore anyone I know to have savings to at least spend 20 or so hours studying Bitcoin before dismissing it.
It's not actually a form of debate but more on educating and making them aware of what Bitcoin is all about. Proper education can help them understand the real essence of Bitcoin. I highlighted to them as well of how beneficial and profitable this technology is, but after all it's still up to them to make the final judgement.
115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without losses? on: May 10, 2019, 04:00:08 PM
No one is flawless when it comes to trading, everyone losses money everyone wins at the same time, its just a matter of luck and being able to predict some movements of some coins of your choice. No one can just come trade and earn earn earn money without losing a single penny. All you need is a positive mindset on everything so you can take losses and start over again
Risks and losses are part of trading journey, but I believe it can be minimized if we have the willingness to learn and dedication to survive on this area. One of the many factors to consider why they lose money in trading it's because they never learned the basics. It is very important to build a strong foundation before going on board just like in any other profession. It's best to take the time to learn the mechanics, familiarize yourself with trading techniques, and get plenty of practice. The knowledge you absorb will help improve the chances of success.
Trading game carries a certain level of losses but understanding and being aware of its causes and how it can be avoided can be very informative and helpful. Traders lose money because they don't keep a trading journal, no guidance, they don't do research, fear of failures, and not learning from their mistakes. There are multiple reasons why traders lose money, but it doesn't mean that these are unconquerable. Traders can easily reach the peak of success by gaining knowledge and being diligent about their studies. Small things that can make a big difference in trading career.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto - Can We Find Him ? on: May 09, 2019, 03:22:03 PM
Where is he now?...

maybe satoshi is no longer alive or maybe satoshi has lost his memory? or maybe satoshi is arrested and incommunicable? are many possibilities. But the question that really matters now is:

- Would it make any difference if Satoshi showed up?

- Would it be that the community would obey Satoshi's orders on what path bitcoin should follow?

Or maybe he's not a real person after all. Yeah i'm also asking that question as to why there are people who seem to be keen in locating satoshi nakamoto, as if it's going to make any difference if ever he or she or they show up. Craig wright claimed to be satoshi and look what it did to his bchsv. There's no sense at all in trying to find who or where satoshi is.

Satoshi as a person or group has already made his contribution and today only observes its creation. If he returns the principle that made him create a decentralized network will be broken because he who created all this and everything would be centered on him again.
We've heard a lot of speculations regarding Satoshi, he/she has long been very mysterious. If Satoshi needs privacy and security, and decided not to reveal himself/herself, let's give it to Satoshi, let's understand and respect him/her, that's what we wanted as well with our personal lives. Our eagerness to know him/her can't change the fact that he/she doesn't want to introduce himself/herself to the public. Despite, I believe that what we can best do is to do our part and support its extraordinary innovation for growth and development.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the Bitcoin is still down? on: May 08, 2019, 02:30:36 PM
I think you just need to wait some time. Over time, more people will start using Bitcoin and the price will rise naturally. Rapidly rising prices are unstable and most likely these are speculations.
this is not speculation but it has become a cryptocurrency trend and we have been waiting for it for several years it is still difficult to rise. we cannot predict it correctly, it's just following the current trend. usually crypto drops only momentarily and will later rise again, but nowadays what makes crypto difficult to rise.
Fake news, lack of knowledge, lack of preparation and some other factors why Bitcoin is still down. There's no need to rush things out, market recovery takes time. It is still profitable, be patient, be aware that volatility has been its nature but that doesn't mean to say that it will continue to decline.
118  Economy / Speculation / Re: Realistic Predictions for Bitcoin? on: May 07, 2019, 01:50:07 PM
10k impossible? Ate you sure? If we continue with the pace we're taking now, we may hit 10k by the third quarter of this year. Remember we started out just around the 3k area until march and then 2 months in, we're almost at twice the value of bitcoin. 2019 is proving to be a good year and though another all time high is unlikely, i'm confident that 10k is attainable this year.
1 btc to be worth 1 btc.
You didn't quite get what he said. "He said $10K is attainable but more than that is more of an impossible" but at the current pace we're in, we will be very likely to reach a new ATH of $10K or more by third quarter or so.
Bitcoin is full of surprises, predictions can be right or wrong. I don't think there is always this so-called realistic prediction because market is very erratic. At some point predictions can somehow help us stay motivated and positive that market will be back on track at the course of time. Recovery may take some time but I'm hopeful that its price will continue to upsurge.
119  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price in December 2019 on: May 06, 2019, 12:11:44 PM
I think by the December 2019 the bitcoin price will reach to 13,000 usd again. Because as we notice now that the price is continue to rise. But no one predict if what really happen to the price of bitcoin, but we still hoping and its not impossible that the price will recover this coming December.
well, so many predictions at the moment, and almost all of them give good, positive speculation. however, the increase in bitcoin prices at the end of the year can be measured from now. if the price increases, but not so fast, I think the price is around $ 10,000.
There have been speculations circulating around about how will price look like in the next months or so. Life is inevitable, it can be difficult to predict as market keeps on shifting, it's too early to decide and conclude of what may happen along the way, there can price correction, losses, but hopefully there will be continuous improvements. I still believe and I'm hopeful that it will certainly rise from fall and will give good standing at the end of the year.
120  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: May 06, 2019, 11:50:13 AM
Yeah i believe if that guy was able to bought a big house using the income on his trades that is possible. However using big amount to trade will make you bankrupt if you lose big time. That guy has the guts and thanks to his guts he was able to buy the big house.
Absolutely! It takes preparation and knowledge inorder to succeed in the field of trading, it's also best that we learn how to value our earnings. Embracing the reality that risk exists can be very helpful in overcoming the fear of failure. Success doesn't happen overnight, you have to work for it, pursue and claim it. We learn from risks, and those lessons will lead us on an important new path. Opportunities often come from risk-taking, we mostly view risk-taking negatively, considering it as dangerous and unwise. While some risks certainly are not rewarding, it’s also important to remember that some do.
