1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin August 2021 Target? on: August 08, 2021, 11:14:38 PM
Greetings Bitcoin Talk Users,

As we have already seen the market fluctuation and the price dumped of BTC from $60k to $30k but in the last few days BTC is pumped again and the price crosses $40k. I think if BTC is not targeted again by Whales then the price will cross $50k within this month. What's your opinion?

Probably we will be crossing $50k this month and as the statements of anonymous whales can be influencial for many individuals who've been following their signals; we can prevent prevent them relying with it. For this month of August, let's have a brief projections until such time $50k will stabilized after successfully crossing this predicted value. If it wasn't going to happen I guess $45k - $47k is at optimum range.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to do a defensive trading strategy? on: August 07, 2021, 11:59:52 PM
Defensive trading is all about our emotions, and if we're not strong enough to handle every circumstances that might be arising once you're struggling to come up with sustainable gains. Some traders often become emotional so they're going to be panic. Most important in trading is to keep your coins intact and don't dwell with shorts and quick trader to avoid losing much money.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull trap or lasting on: August 06, 2021, 07:57:41 AM
Dear all

I think, this is bullrun continuation. But some people say bull trap. If 43000 btc break , unstoppable

You're too motivated that bullrun is really doing well this time, as far as price was concerned right now there's no trap on what's really going on with the latest market updates. We surpassed $37k,$38k and $39k and now we're at the price of $40k. Everyone is now excited to see for next few hours to tick in time, because there might be a rapid increase that's waiting to be triggered without any further notice.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is returning to $40K — But will shorts have their revenge? on: August 06, 2021, 06:59:21 AM
that sign won't make it go down further, we are currently at the stage of $38k+, and right now it's starting to move in an upward trend again, I just thought it's aiming for $50k in the near term.

Recently the price goes at $40k as of this time, and those aims you had right now has the possibility of a fulfillment that's going to be most exciting. Nobody can predict what date $50k will have to take place soon, but someday we should be grateful for every efforts we had for two months of waiting. Hopefully not just btc soars, but also following alts will have good season too.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this another Ethereum season on: August 06, 2021, 05:51:42 AM
I hope that with this hard fork ETH makes the market bullish again, because at the beginning of the year doge made the market bullish with such a big pump and I think now it's ETH's turn to move the market to be bullish until  end of the year without having to follow bitcoin movements.

Eversince the last time we experienced how bullish market made eth much profitable, and from my past years of failures to prevent myself dump all eth I had was a learned lessons in life. From now on, I am sacrificing my coins in order to have little for my asset to grow sustainably even if the quantity is that productive. At least when future comes, I would able to use some of the profit that came from that holdings when ethereum season will commence this year.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you bullish or bearish this year? on: August 05, 2021, 11:57:01 PM
With the roller-coaster price movement this year, I like to know if what you think about this year's market condition overall.

Are you still bullish despite the huge dump from ATH, or do you think the market will be bearish throughout?

Share your thoughts and what's your basis, it will help everyone to decide.

Many of us here were saying more positive things about market bullish, they didn't have some idea towards bear market on how resilient are we to absorb every good thoughts that came from individual opinion. If we're just basing on the poll result, well it looks promising but we really need to be careful on that because anytime this month we're still prone to experience minor market saturations.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: The Role of Government in Crypto on: August 05, 2021, 10:52:34 PM
In what way do cryptocurrencies coexist with banks? These are completely different systems, and nor they can, nor should coexist.
Cryptocurrencies can and, in fact, are functioning without governmental regulations in many countries, while still remaining at the status of legal (check wiki list for crypto legality by countries), only few impose bans or taxes.

They only impose taxes at exchanges not really on crypto itself because of it decentralized being, and government function was only to regulate the incoming and outgoing transactions of fiat currency. They can't took control everything in cryptocurrency, because it was separated from the state governance, but if it talks about fiat they're always dominant on that.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Institutional buyers are not backing down. More Pump? on: August 05, 2021, 08:48:50 PM

~snip~

Institutional investors are getting more interested in bitcoin. This move by MicroStrategy is a big step. Will other companies follow this path? How would employees react to this? Since btc is volatile and can dump at any minute. I can understand if they are excited about it now as Bitcoin is bullish but what happens when there is a massive dip? Love your hear thoughts on this none

If there's a massive dip, good opportunity happens for people who still wanted to buy at cheaper price but not that significant because right now it's impossible to have btc at below $35k. Lately price saturates at below $40k and only stayed at above $37k while green signals was potentially creating strong influence towards different interested buyers.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin investment on: August 04, 2021, 10:23:16 PM
I am investing Bitcoin today even if the price is still very high and risky. I still believe in some speculation that btc will rise up to 100k$ before the year 2021 end, that is why I buy some Bitcoin and hold it till the price reach up to 100k$ may I know what are you thinking this time is it a Time to buy or hold or what ?

Let's all buy and hold our Bitcoin's so we could embrace our profit by the time bull market comes back. Meanwhile we still have to face several challenges that might hinder our different plans for our funds which made all things in life worth it. It's too early to celebrate yet, $100k was too far too happen but the potential was too big, so don't ever give up until we seen this commencing someday.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum where to go?? on: August 04, 2021, 08:55:42 PM
The upcoming hard fork of ethereum coin will eventually brings the price up because of the new development, features and innovation of new technology applied on its platform. This update would surely strengthen and improve the lower transaction fees by the network which users and crypto traders relied on.

This is a good competition now, since other network tried to emerge with other new projects that has been starting implement new future ways in improving their service. Transaction fees is the most common concerns that erc20 network have been facing for so long, so I am looking forward that lower transaction fee and network failures will be fixed after this. I will just have to observe when everything will be fully applied to its platform, we can't expect too much while plans is there, and let's see what's coming next.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term Investment Suggestion on: August 04, 2021, 10:15:00 AM
As per the current market situation, many good coins are falling due to dot, cake and many other reasons. I would suggest buy cake, sol, and such coins for at least 5k amount, and soon those coins will return high profit margin

Better divert your desires to bitcoin and eth now, while there's a good chance to purchase don't miss it because I have no confidence that those altcoins will provide us a good profit when perfect time comes. There's no difference with old altcoins that I've been holding, that's why I keep on suggesting to switch back on trusted coins instead of shitcoins. Litteraly I'm saying it in desperate manner, in line of frustrations from the past experience.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason why investors often lose money on: August 04, 2021, 06:48:50 AM
The reason why investors often lose money; as a novice, I summarized the experience in trading:

1. Investment does not equal speculation
2. Not aware of new market changes
3. Do some price comparisons of several currencies that are promising in the past and this year (you can also search the project keywords in the forum to see everyone's thoughts on this project as a reference)
4. Speculators also lose money. Investors are thorough gamblers. When I didn't buy in, I kept holding. If the currency price drops sharply, we will be finished. Maybe speculators buy at the same time (the speculators who have done the market record will be aware of the red flag warning, bad things will happen, the speculators will take action to minimize the loss, and then wait for the next favorable Opportunity to act again

There are some rules to keep in mind:

1. Never sell because the price looks high. For example, if you look at it from 10 to 20, what should you judge at this time is what is preventing them from 20-50?
2. Similarly, don't buy directly because of the high price in the previous period and a lot of drop. The decline is justified.
3. Never equalize the loss in your current account, as there is a high probability that you will lose more.

We are already in a fickle market, and more often there are no rules to follow, but setting up some own trading rules will reduce my losses.

Hope to communicate with everyone

Basic rules will only apply for us if we follow our emotions, though we have the courage to battle all the anxieties that we felt everytime btc and other altcoins go down. That's always important to consider your safe zone first before final decision will prevail. Often times we lose money because of greed, when you find all things work out for good then don't hesitate to dump while there's no possible spikes will exist after your coins reached the peak of its value.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Losing in trading needs questioning on: August 04, 2021, 03:01:20 AM
I have seen many persons come here to lament of them losing one or two funds in trading which is very obvious and need questioning of how and where they learn there own trading skill from. I have had of a crypto traders that lost all his funds in one day because of market volatility. This happens frequently and I think there is need to recall where the cause could be from.

Yes as a trader, losing one or two trades is part of the game but sometimes losing everything that had been accumulated for weeks, months is very painful and there is need to know whether it's due to ignorance or insufficient trading skill. Acquiring sufficient trading skill is very important in trading which can also help to get good results.

I usually ask myself questions whenever I have consecutive loses in trading, trying to know where I'm getting it wrong. This had helped me many times to get more trading knowledge that had improved my entire trading.

When you lose for several times, decide quickly then stop what you're doing to avoid risking all your funds. Volatility really made it so difficult for us and I understand you're feeling emotionally, then I advise you to move on and don't give up. I couldn't agree more that without skils and knowledge tend to burst out when you really fail in the first place, but more questions will came about and that's part of our daily experience.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can prediction results affect the actual market? on: August 03, 2021, 11:41:55 PM
I've been thinking that now there are many market prediction projects. I'm using X predict market for example.

People will be able to somehow know the market anticipation in advance. Like will the price of btc rise or decrease?

But this information might change participators' choices again, how should we adjust our strategy according to this kind of information?

Predictions also helped us formulate a good idea and mindset, but I failed to follow one time this year that's why also suffered with my altcoins holdings.
That really affected my asset, because I didn't listen to what I seen on bitcoin market which is reall happening right now and it affected a lot of cryptocurrency coins to drowned on their respective price so cheap.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Undervalued projects likely to trend with current move in the crypto market on: August 02, 2021, 11:52:43 PM
Some projects have a great potential to survive and recovered sharply based on their use cases, competent team members, steady progress reports as it can be traced to their respective GitHub and the community. This link contains some expert opinions on such projects, and I want to see if they are outrightly right on their choices.

I had some tokens with dying project developers, and never been waking up after the last bullrun of bitcoin. Many tokens also been shining through, gaining good price for their coin but the others been drowned for several years. Though there's new project have been resiliently trying to get trust from public, and right now that started to burst out including some tokens that entered binance smartchain network. We will soon see how this create an impact to entire market, this is going to be exciting.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin vs binance Coin on: August 02, 2021, 11:13:56 PM
There are currently many coins in cryptocurrency, including light coins and binance coins. But now Binance Coin is take very good position than litecoin. Can you think litecoin  also overtake binance.

There's no possibility for litecoin to overtake binance coin nowadays, and as I've been observing for several years there's no ample developments that ltc has been showing to their community. Their community remains so silent for how many months, unlike with binance they're growing their community so big and other new tokens showing up and doing tie ups with bsc network which I think a strong foundation for bnb to compete and become second to eth soon.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Becoming a Store of Value on: March 21, 2021, 10:24:21 PM
I found a video of Mark Cuban explaining this: https://youtu.be/QEoBeIdwuRg

Do you think Ethereum has potential to become store of value? Why or why not?

I don't think it will come to that potential in the future, the crazy fee made it so hard to happen becoming store of value. Maybe those days that they still got fair charges, but nowadays I won't wonder for good about what's going on with their system. Hopefully they'll able to fix this matter before expecting for further developments.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum - Bitcoin's Tail on: March 18, 2021, 01:28:27 PM
Do you think there will ever be a time when Ethereum will stop following Bitcoin? The time Ethereum goes up in value is because Bitcoin goes up in value. In the future, will people look for Ether first before Bitcoin? Or will it always be Bitcoin's sidekick  Grin Grin  What do you guys think?

There's no exact time for when this journey will end for both of them mate, eth will always follow what pathways does bitcoin have. From the past years we've experienced less than $2k per btc and now this is what happened to eth price, which nobody expected that scenario.
Once Bitcoin price fluctuates even more, the entire cryptocurrency market will be affected because of supply and demand fluctuations.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: "People who have invested on ETH soon will be poor", said CZ #BSC on: March 17, 2021, 11:32:18 PM

ETH version 2 aka ETH. 2.0 will be launched their final phase around in the end 2021 or early 2022
https://cointelegraph.com/news/when-will-ethereum-2-0-fully-launch-roadmap-promises-speed-but-history-says-otherwise

Time to move on to Binance Smart Chain, shall we?
#BSC

CZ mad a statement like this without any solid proof and I believed that his aggressive comments is attempting to deceive eth holders, which he thought could create panic. However, that doesn't mean serious because if people would turn their back against this crypto asset it would have affect the price right now. FUD started working nowadays, don't get easily fooled with it.
