I think it is pointless to change bitcoin to ETH or back. These are very similar coins. If you really Want to sell bitcoin and buy other coins to expand investments, then pay attention to any of these coins Nucleus Vision, Shivom.
The Bitcoin Cash rose a lot today. Is it good idea to change to some BCH? |

I don't only hold my assets on bitcoin, I allocate some of my capital to ethereum so I have both of these coins in my wallet so I don't have to move on from bitcoin to ethereum, because the two coins I have.
If you move the bitcoin to ETH now, you might be rewarded a lot in the future. |

All the indicators are showing that we are at the very beginning of a new uptrend that will bring bitcoin and alts to new ATHs.
The trend will be established if the Bitcoin Cash is above $2000 for a month or Bitcoin is above $$20000 for a month. |

2) scrolling the miner to review past output causes the miner to freeze or at least I thing it is. Doing so I get an E at the very last line and after having it sit for a few the normal 'hashing' output does not return, but if I do a Ctrl + C is gives the option to stop the miner without any hitch. Can you explain what's possibly happening?
Yes. Using 2.7c The Freeze with the " E" on the screen happens to me any time I try to scroll back. Have to exit miner and restart it. could be quick edit issue- see troubleshooting P005 on Page 1 No, it is not the same issue. This original hang was fix weeks ago. Only happens when scrolling backwards. Very simple to. fix... at least for me. How do you fix? |

I think one of the reasons is that these ICOs are really enticing and promises big returns. Most of of them are lending platforms that encourages beginners to invest.
That is right. I think the crypto currencies investment is still very risky. So it is better to be invested by the experienced and informed users, not general public. |

Hi! Do you prefer server PSU for 6-slot riserless? I've ordered M06 (integrated CPU) from Letine but now I am unsure what PSU should I buy for it, cause the M06 have lot's of MOLEX and SATA connectors onboard. I like Corsair rm1000i. Refurbished from Corsair website. But if you plan on using nvidia and smos Set tdp to pull under 750 watts. That would be 6 1070 at 100 to 120 watts. I have a few Corsair Ax1200i refurbished. The warranty is one year. Two out of four died at 18 months point. |

If I was better at programming, I would make something like a simple web dashboard which shows things like temps, fan speeds and hash rates. Some type of notification if the miner stops reporting or if the hash rate drops would be nice. My miner runs Linux, so it has to run on that. Python would probably be a good choice. I suck at python programming though.
Anybody what to try this?

Once or twice a day. I do have some restarts and I'm not sure what's causing it. Maybe Windows update.
But I have my miner on startup as well as overclock in software. So if it restarts, it's all back up again usually at full speed without me actually having to do anything.
It is better to turn off the auto windows update. |

I think a lot of people are hoping (counting) on that to happen. Mining is still profitable but it getting tighter every day. GPUs are also still selling at premium prices. NewEgg has a MSI RX580 4GB Gaming on sale for $239, which is still about $50 higher than it was when it was introduced. Need a few more months of quiet before GPU prices return to normal levels, so if BTC Gold shakes things up, I agree that prices will skyrocket again. BTC Gold I don't see having any effect on coin pricing (other than it's own) but I see it having a positive effect on GPU mining PROFITABILITY (not the same thing) as it should suck some hashrate out of other GPU-mineable coins - for a short while at least. If the price of BTG to be 0.01 bitcoin, it will suck 5% of the GPU mining. |

Some of my 1060 rigs are mining FTC, VTC and ZEN. Actually the profit is not much now, but I mine and hold coins maybe in 6 months.
I do the same. It is not very profitable to mine and sell now. |

I have multiple GPU. I check them with Teamviewer once a day. |

Yes it's true that Ethereum and Bitcoin values fluctuate around the same!
But this is nowadays. There aren't many news about Ethereum!
We already have seen in the past ETH running and Bitcoin stable!
When some news come out you will see ETH running and BTC stable.
There will be a big hard fork next month. If it is successful, the price will rise a lot. Price will rise for which? Bitcoin or Ethereum? Both will rise a lot in the near term. I agree with that. And possibly the Bitcoin Cash. |

Yes bro you can right thinking.You can move BTC into ETH bacause ETH is very potential coin I think.For future life you can hold ETH.And finally I'm sure you can earn big profit.
I moved some bitcoin into ETH a few weeks ago, but it seems it was not a wise move. |

Now the price is stable as hell, at least related to BTC.
Everything is falling in the same proportion.
It means it is as stable as bitcoin. For the time being, the ETH is still more volatile than bitcoin. Maybe it will be more stable in the future. |

Is mining Ethereum a good strategy? or is direct investment better
Both are good, if you have already a mining RIG then it worth a lot because if you have reached the ROI then you are earning money like a boss now. But even though there is a lack of motivation in the mining rig because people are saying that Ethereum is going to be moved to Proof of Stake which stops the mining and people will move to another coin. Investing in bitcoin also is a good thing because the ethereum price has been increased too much recently, few months the price was ~$50 and now the price is $280 I think if you have the skill, it is better to mine. |

Looks like it's still soaring  Maybe. Dip is within limits for another rise, but alts in general are flashing warning signals to me. My trade position is mostly USD now. Hope so there is a dip,but what i did not understand still is why is that the price of ETH and ZEC had a big rally despite i did not see any rapid changes in their protocol,is it simply because the price of bitcoin is still having a rally and now people are investing into alts or is there any specific reason for these price rises,i really cannot make any sense with all the alts rallying like this. There is already a dip in the ETH price, but that is not too deep. |

Ethereum will grow a bit slower now onward because it has already grown in few times against its value where it was few weeks ago. All the spike in market is very recent it needs lot of correction and after providing solid base or floor next rise will start in couple of weeks or months depends on the circumstances and events of future.
That is right. I think the price will rise slowly in the future. It is actually rising very fast now. |
