I sent .01but my connection was bad and couldn't play the vid fully.  I'm not sure if I can still place a bet with the coins sent as I don't have an account but I can prove I sent the coin and would like to play.  Even if you place the bet for me. I will pm you detils of the transaction later today and see what can be done.

Yes sorry for that, we have been under constant DDoS attacks probably since we've lunched, we're taking care of the issue.

Luckily the website and the game server itself work as independent modules so your game will be played regardless. Send me your tx once it is placed.

Sorry for the stuck bets everyone, there were some technical problems with the physical table, we have fixed them now.

The free 0.01 BTC is reopened and valid again.

Wow, 80000 dollars worth of bitcoins. Where was this java applet miner virus you used?

I remember being linked to a website phishing Mt Gox and it had a video on it with some kind of important announcement and it asked to download a Java applet in order to run the video.

if it helps, my address is 194oEMpUh8TUMvok6fkBMgFT6j57FMAv2G and the coins went to 1Kx1QMEsuKVJwPB7zabeqZbVTP5Zfkgbby

If someone could tell me what to do from that, I'll gladly do it. Don't want to make other people do my work

They all seem to end up at 1DdFKnPX7M23VMLgEedegtVXR9v3wN2ruQ and they aren't moved from there, total balance is 652.32884571

Your terminology is a little confusing.  Transactions don't sign other transactions.  And if you've used the unconfirmed transaction as an input to KoS's winnings, then it is no longer 'unspent' - since you just spent it.

I think what you mean is that you used an unconfirmed transaction as one of the inputs when paying KoS his winnings.  That's something that you have control of (or at least your Bitcoin client software does).  If you use the reference bitcoin-qt client, it will only use unconfirmed transactions as inputs if there are no confirmed transactions available in your wallet to make the payment with.  So the solution is making sure you have enough funds in your wallet that at least some of them are confirmed at all times for use it paying out winners.

You can make an arrangement with a mining pool if you like, but there's nothing you can do if that unconfirmed transaction you used to pay out a winning bet gets double-spent and the double-spend makes its way into the blockchain.

It happened because people are writing bots to place bets constantly with zero fees, anyway we've got everything under control and taking it to the next level as usual. I have enough BTC to cover any potential winning, in case someone gets lucky this early and wins the maximum 72, I can payout that too, even though it will take some time.

Thank you for your concerns and correcting me dooglus, I appreciate your input.

Man that is dedication, I'm a big fan of the free hug but can't say I have the same commitment. Keep it up, everyone needs hugs!

"Bad" people are a byproduct of a sick society that is rotten to the core, no need to be angry with them.

Anyway have a hug

thanks for the hug!

where do you draw the line between personal responsibility and societal ramifications? I'll give you that a lot of people are messed up because of situations our society placed them in to but at some point they made a choice no?

I think most people underestimate how closely politics and psychology are linked, every time the taxes are raised more people are hurt and more sick people are produced, the very same sick people that loom the streets looking for trouble, the same sick people that become mass murderers or find ways to gain advantage by exploiting the system in a horrific manner. Even such monstrous characters such as Ed Gein are merely a result of even bigger monsters that either failed him through ignorance, greed or lack of knowledge, the very same teachers that turned their head the other way when he was bullied, the neighbors that had heard things but decided not to report, the politicians that rolled in the dirt like pigs seeking total control, when you realize all of that you pity the person rather than being angry at him.

I don't think any person is bad for acting in a bad way, there must have been a buildup of going through a rough life and then it is simply a question of being susceptible. Not everyone can afford treatment or access to a therapeutic environment.

But those are just my thoughts....

the individual who has started that thread is nothing less than a thieving liar and I would avoid bumping his threads or giving him attention.

Golly.  I've not heard anything bad about him until now.

Out transaction: 3ac1e4c34541a1ccfc9224e9227ad2a9b71e753d407645d0597f64d8a56701de

I don't see that anywhere on the network.  Can you rebroadcast it?  If you paste it here: https://blockchain.info/pushtx then everyone will have it soon enough.

The "out" transaction has apparently been signed by a zero conf unspent tx, if it won't confirm within 2 days I will pay it myself and let KingsOfSports keep double the winnings.

I am currently in the process of working something out with the pools, it should eliminate this problem in the future.

China can produce fake USD bills that are of superior quality to the originals
[citation needed]

Should have thrown in a "probably" somewhere there, it's still a valid assumption given the history of superdollars and just basic logic that hasn't been spoiled with propaganda.

After saying hi, Giving a hug...

That's a good start! The community needs more people like you who have got their priorities straight!

CasinoBit pickpocketed me as he was hugging me and then didn't pay for his deluxe hug experience.  Angry Would not hug again.

There wasn't even a happy ending, not deluxe at all, would not recommend

Plus I've agreed to pay the 0.01 fees, check out the free 0.01 coins in my siq, place a 0.01 bet and I will give you back 0.01, you keep all the winnings  Wink

I need a hug.

554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stolen Coins on: May 22, 2013, 12:55:12 AM
disabling java in chrome now. so will this solve 90% of the problems?

There isn't even any need to disable it, just don't allow it to run Java applets when it asks you.
555  Other / Off-topic / Re: FREE Hugs on: May 22, 2013, 12:46:15 AM
Could we get a thread like this for free drinks also?

Or maybe free drinks with a hug?   Or could I just get a drink w/ a hug?

Thanks

If I could give out free booze through the internet in addition to the virtual hugs I would.

556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stolen Coins on: May 22, 2013, 12:44:26 AM
Unless you're able to track down the person that stole them (which is highly unlikely), they're gone for good.

No need to be an ass, as for OP did you run a Java applet? Were your coins stolen from Mtgox? (your cookies targeted?)

I meant no disrespect to vpitcher. I see you highlighted 'good'... maybe you're not familiar with that idiom? All I meant is that they are likely unrecoverable, because Bitcoin transactions are not reversible.

Either way, I'm sorry to hear that they were stolen. Definitely make sure you've removed the virus and don't send anything else to those addresses.

Read that wrong sorry  Wink
557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Entourage on: May 22, 2013, 12:43:44 AM
I'm sure there are fun people here.

I've been smoking weed and doing RCs & mushrooms since I was 14 and I've got tons of crazy stories from all that shit. Some people might not call that fun, but it would sure as hell be interesting to watch. (I don't want to be in it though, I just want to film)
and the Silk Road is basically making that more common. And it's not always nerds seeking out the Silk Road and ending up using Bitcoins. And I know someone that told me about the Silk Road in like 2009, and he had crazy parties at his house all the time, and now he mines coins.

And I only used SR for like 2 weeks before dropping it and focusing on things like Devtome, because I don't trust the road, an I can get weed from a dispensary.

Plus, I bet there are plenty of alcoholics on here Smiley

Lol you sound like a cool person, I would gladly hang with you.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World War III and BTC on: May 22, 2013, 12:41:45 AM

Oh, then you haven't seen the movie. It's everything you just mentioned and more. You'll like it.

Already watching it.

Ask the average impressionable teenager about ancient Rome and the first thought they get is the romance, the beauty, the culture, without giving much thought to Romans cutting off the limbs off people and making them their pets, people smelling like shit or people shitting in the street, wiping with their hand etc.

I think some poor souls would even agree to time travel to ancient Rome given the opportunity.

Still got me curious..
559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Entourage on: May 22, 2013, 12:27:24 AM
The goal isn't to get people that watch Jersey Shore to watch this, you guys are missing the point.

And yes, there is plenty of room for intelligent shows. The apprentice was about business strategy, and look at Shark tank.
If we had 5-10 people, each would could have there own thing. 1 guy looking for employees for his BTC funded company, 1 guy hoarding BTC, 1 guy hoarding alt coins, 1 guy that is like a day trader, 1 guy that just mines and parties, etc etc.

I doubt that Bitcoin people are really that fun, I am a strong believer that everyone should develop without denying their body mind or soul, I would ideally be a spiritual programmer who is ripped and shredded to the bone, both having a killer physique, being at peace with the world and with my own thoughts as well as possessing a high social intelligence, being an occasional party animal and having a deep knowledge of using the resources/information around me to create websites/projects.

I don't suppose the community shares the same views, most of you are probably closer to the nerd stereotype than what you realize Tongue. Can't have fun while being a struck up cunt.

Of course the show would be possible if Bitcoins weren't the center of gravity of the whole thing.
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC ATMs should be in major International Airports! on: May 22, 2013, 12:18:41 AM
BTC ATMs are really inefficient. Storing Bitcoins in your phone isn't. I am hoping that as time goes by more viable solutions will be introduced.
