41  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Question for fellow Campaign Managers on: October 16, 2019, 10:21:52 AM
I didn't do this earlier, because I thought I might get backlash from smaller ranks.
Now I got it, knowing views from campaign managers as well as participants. Would be giving the spot, in my next campaign, to the ones that actually qualify according to their quality.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 14, 2019, 06:05:56 PM
Just to confirm.  If you lend binance 1 btc... as long as you extend it every 2 weeks, you are guaranteed 1.03 btc at the end of 1 year?  Or not because its not like a bank and not insured?

That sounds pretty crazy.  If someone has like 10 btc, they are gettin back 10.30 btc a year just for letting binance hold it?  Wouldn't that mean ppl who have a good amount probably should do that as oppose to keep it in their wallets?  Or there is still lot of risk in this?
It has been a pretty general notion with the crypto community to hold all our coins under full control without the involvement of thrid party.
So, storing such high amounts on any exchange is a complete no. Numerous exchanges have been hacked in the past.
You must invest only that amount that you can afford to lose. And putting such high amounts of bitcoins, possibly entire earnings is not the right decision.
43  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Collecting Bitcoin Donations with a recognizable address on: October 14, 2019, 05:55:07 PM
I had an earlier post about Chinese collecting bitcoin as payment and another post about Hong Kong free press collecting donations. One of the things was that they had to use the same darn address for collecting BTC. Now if the addresses for donations were more recognizable I think things would be a lot easier for them.
About two days ago I found this site that gives you a common name like BOB or BitcoinBull or CryptoBull for a bitcoin address. So, I am thinking that things would be easier for large organizations to collect money if they had recognizable names instead of a long string of numbers and letters. What do you think, would it make it easier, in terms of adoption?

anyone could use a vanity address it's not something new, for some reason they were never that popular, personally, I created my vanity address and never used it.
I would not support this idea because it would be too easy to copy off the vanity address by someone else.
Say you create an address 1Charity************* then there are still thousands of address combinations with the exact starting characters, as denoted by * here.
It would be really easy to impersonate such vanity addresses.

The optimum idea is to just promote charity's website where all the payment methods are listed.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the fair rewards come out from campaign? on: October 14, 2019, 12:13:07 PM
I think it is good to get any profit from this projects, many project is fail, gain some free money is good even is low.

This type of mentality is straight-up irrational, people took out their precious time out of their lives to work in such campaigns it is not any type of pity they are doing to the participants by giving them the money they deserve.
Consider if you did 9-5 job for 6 weeks and at last you only got 1% of what was promised. Would that be acceptable to you as well? I guess, no.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / StableCoins might increase crypto adoption by big companies ? on: October 13, 2019, 11:45:28 PM
You all might be knowing that Steam used to accept payments in bitcoin through BitPay, but they abruptly stopped it stating the price volatility of bitcoin to be the issue.
Stablecoins eliminates this very issue, could this encourage Steam or other companies like Amazon,etc. to start incorporating cryptocurrencies into their payment systems.
Is it possible some stablecoin might outperform bitcoin regarding this?
46  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Collecting Bitcoin Donations with a recognizable address on: October 13, 2019, 09:49:01 PM
The one major flaw with such services is that what if they decide to turn into a scam and map their own address with your name instead of your very own address, thereby passing your coins to themselves.
There's no need to involve any middle-man for such trivial tasks, considering their service don't provide much of a value.

Having QR codes is the best approach for such case.
47  Economy / Service Discussion / Question for fellow Campaign Managers on: October 13, 2019, 09:37:53 PM
Recently, I was managing a signature campaign and there were few slots open just for the Member ranks, but many higher-level users like Full Member and Hero were requesting me to consider their applications and they would be satisfied with the lower pay according to the Member rank.

Is it acceptable to put higher-level users in competition with lower ones for a spot in the signature campaign?
I declined to address such requests, but what if I don't get any applications from good quality posters for the member spot is it then right to choose from higher accounts?

Would really like to hear what you do with your campaigns in such a scenario.
48  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to save few bucks while withdrawing from exchanges on: October 13, 2019, 09:16:54 PM
There's no hidden fact that I was actually focusing on withdrawing my signature earnings from Yobit exchange, which has a fixed 0.0012 BTC fee.

I'd be very interested to see a few samples, starting from for example 0.002 BTC, taking different routes, and showing the total cost (losses) per step until the final amount that arrives in your wallet.

I too did some calculations and to my surprise, through one route I ended up with not a loss, but a profit!
Here I am calculating for withdrawing ~0.005 BTC.

Fixed Withdraw Fee on Yobit:
LTC     0.00001356 BTC
XRP    0.00001663 BTC
DASH  0.00001702 BTC
ETH    0.00010845 BTC
DOGE 0.00015000 BTC
XLM    Not supported by Yobit.

>LTC:
BTC(0.00501000)->LTC(Yobit Trading fee:0.2%) get: 0.73583300 LTC
LTC withdraw fee: -0.002 LTC
0.733833 LTC->BTC get: 0.00492400 BTC [coinplaza]
                               0.00496483 BTC [changelly] (Loss: 0.00004517 BTC = 0.009%)

>XRP:
BTC(0.00501000)->XRP(Yobit Trading Fee: 0.2%) Get => 152.62515262 XRP
XRP withdraw fee: -0.5 XRP
152.12515262 XRP->BTC get: 0.00504917 BTC [via changelly] (Profit: 0.00003917 BTC = 0.00782%)

Coinplaza doesn't deal with XRP.

* Only one problem is that new XRP wallet requires to have a non-refundable deposit of 20 XRP (0.0006694 BTC) according to their protocol.

>Dash:
BTC(0.00501000)->Dash(Yobit Trading fee:0.2%) get: 0.58291567 Dash
Dahs withdraw fee: -0.002 Dash
0.58091567 Dash->BTC get: 0.00492800 BTC [coinplaza]
                                           0.00493528 BTC [changelly] (Loss: 0.00007472 BTC = 0.0149%)
49  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin real money ? - Many say that bitcoin is not money - on: October 13, 2019, 06:46:50 PM
Dominicanīs largest bitcoin Company   set up now a marketplace where everyone in the world can buy and sell almost anything ( Houses,Cars,Electronics) with Bitcoin .https://blockchain.com.do
Soon They will launch a new  lending services  for investors who want to  lend their bitcoin or invest in one of their  Bitcoin ATM  and get 24% interest per year.
https://blockchain.com.do
Please share a list of Bitcoin  companies  with physical store like this?
https://i.imgur.com/MwvarNN.jpg
So, you used clickbait title to attract views on your thread whose content has nothing to do with it... Nice marketing strategy I guess.
I visited your marketplace website and was impressed by the variety of stuff listed there. Are you selling all those directly or act as a middleman, similar to Amazon?

...
Nevertheless, it does seem like a decent attempt for a company to enter the crypto-industry, there's quite a lot of items for sale and with very reasonable pricings, like a 3,000 dollar atm.
...
But you have to buy a minimum of 10 Bitcoin ATM machines for the order to fulfill!
50  Economy / Services / Re: ⭐ █ ██ ICOGlance.com CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT Services ██ █ ⭐ IDEAL for ICOs !⭐ on: October 13, 2019, 06:03:30 PM
Just wanted to drop a quick note to let everyone know I had a very positive experience working with @apoorvlathey / ICOGlance. He managed a signature campaign for me. Excellent service, quick response time, very reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
It was great working with you as well! I designed the signatures and managed the campaign for more than a month, and each time the payment was in advance without me inquiring. Do contact me for any future campaigns  Cheesy

I participated in Bittrade signature campaign. It was my first experience of participating in a signature campaign which the payments are made in BTC.
The spreadsheet updated regularly and all payments were made without any delay. I really enjoyed working with Apoorvlathey.
Glad you had a positive experience being in a campaign managed by me.

The bittrade campaign has ended, but you included it in the active campaign. Is there a rounde 2 campaign?
You look professional with this management, unfortunately it's hard to find real pay bounties.
Yeah, the campaign has been ended a few weeks back, but I didn't remember to update the OP, thanks for reminding me! Post updated now. Sorry, no there's no second round of this campaign (yet  Wink)
Thanks for your compliments too.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the fair rewards come out from campaign? on: October 13, 2019, 10:45:23 AM
I was planning to join the campaign, i asked one already join more than one, the answer is choked me,
Although the project not bad, he received only $6.8 after worked for 6 weeks is it fair?  Is it normal?
What you think?

You know that that's even less than the hourly salary for most decent jobs? I don't see it being fair from any angle.
The campaigns might lurk the bounty hunters by showing there are thousands of dollars worth of bounty pool, because of which a large amount of people participate. The campaign runners don't have any problem, because the more the merrier for them. But it affects the participants directly because the funds are allocated to each user according to the stakes, which total up to a very less amount as previously imagined.

Also, as soon as the payment is made, these hundreds of participants quickly rush to cash out their token/coin earnings collapsing the market, bringing down the value of their own hard work.
53  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Coinsbee.com - Buy gift cards with about 50 crypto currencies! on: October 13, 2019, 10:29:11 AM
Just bought a $5 Virtual Visa Card from your site. The order went through successfully.
I have received the email containing a "code" and a "serial number". How am I supposed to use them on a website? Where to acquire card number, expiry date and cvv for the same?

55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH blockchain based decentralised exchange on: October 13, 2019, 08:52:09 AM
Greetings, guys. What exchange do you use? A local one or a global one? What pros and cons has each option? What is better?
I don't think there is any difference between local or global exchanges as far as you are concerned with just trading between some cryptocurrencies.
In order to cash out to your local fiat currency, I believe that local exchanges would provide a much straight forward approach. Also, you can use p2p exchanges like localbitcoins for dealing with your local fiat.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fortnite, PUBG, DOTA 2, Hearthstone, Apex coming to blockchain? Mass adoption? on: October 13, 2019, 08:39:52 AM
According to your narrative, blockchain has already become a part of big sports leagues like NBA, football, and cricket that happen worldwide?

The project that you shared just focuses on betting on e-sports matches using cryptocurrencies, that's it. Don't think that might increase blockchain adoption, as the only players betting on it would be the ones already involved in crypto gambling.

As others have, incorporating the cryptocurrencies into these games would definitely give blockchain a boost, but not this.
57  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any VCC Provider doesn't required KYC ? on: October 13, 2019, 08:04:21 AM
I don't think there are any websites that would provide virtual cc without KYC. A lot of companies were able to provide bitcoin virtual debit cards in the past but due to some regulations imposed by Visa on the debit card supplier more than 90% such services have stopped.
There's only a manual way to acquire them through forum members.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a Stock Market Crash affect Bitcoin? on: October 13, 2019, 07:49:32 AM
You are pretty much right. Few weeks back due to global economic slowdown, all the stocks were painted in red but there stood Bitcoin shining in green from the rest of the commodities. People are going to invest one way or the other, so they resort to cryptocurrencies when other sources become unprofitable.
59  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, ICO, Lending, Bounty. Which one should I do ? on: October 13, 2019, 07:44:25 AM
Between the 4 of choices better to pick the trading because the 3 is very risky now.  ICO and bounty is very risky to invest your money in ICO while bounty is your time in Lending you need a good capital to start lending and that's not easy.
Trading is most people choose because they know is less risky and high potential to earn big money or a good profit.
Why is a bounty risky? It seems to me that a bounty is the most correct option if a person does not have money for lending and trading.
At first, you would assume that Bounties are a safer way to earn some coins but when the payouts happen and the tokens are worth next to nothing you would realize that all the time that you had "invested" has gone wasted. Choosing the correct bounty campaign is very much similar to investing in the correct ICO. Both result in having their coins in your wallet at last, investing time or money respectively.
60  Economy / Service Discussion / How to save few bucks while withdrawing from exchanges on: October 12, 2019, 11:18:54 AM
I see that most of the exchanges have quite a high fees for withdrawing bitcoins into our wallets. Though if one withdraws Ethereum, then the fees are just 1/10th as compared to bitcoin's.
I would like to know the best strategy to acquire bitcoins from exchanges without paying hefty fees.

What's the exchange with least bitcoin withdrawal fee?
Also, is it better if I withdraw to ETH or any other coin with low fee and find some trader on the forum to exchange it for Bitcoins, eliminating the exchange's fee?
