1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Automated altcoin trading robot - 97% profitability on: March 31, 2017, 03:30:28 PM
You don't need to cancel, the only error here is that the bot hasn't waited the buy orders to be 100% filled so it fail to place the sell order, just manually place the sell order and wait for a fix ! no need to worry no need to cancel no need to refund, its a new bot and it is promising Wink

i agree!

Lol, sure if you want to baghold. Not my strategy though

Not mine as well. Just meant we need to give a chance for the bot because it looks promising. Let's give a chance for the OP to reply, explain and fix the issue. Furthermore, i invested some money subscribing to this bot. so i need return over my investment Smiley
Sure, I never said that I won't give a chance to this bot, otherwise I wouldn't have registered for it.

To the dev, it is nice that you are already working on a solution. Probably you already thought about this but nonetheless here are my 2 cents:

I don't know how your algo works but for low volume coins you could:
  • 1. Lower the BTC trade amount taking into account the number of users registered, current coin volume and market depth. If something like this is applied then, the number of trades per day and/or profitability should increase in order to make up for the lower absolute gains due to the reduced trade amount
  • 2. Stair-down the bids taking into account 1)
  • 3. Workout a target price taking into account the users registered, current coin volume, market depth and then execute market-buys. This could be use in combination with 1)

WTF is going with this BOT?

ERROR Not enough XCP. SELL order sent  BTC_XCP at price  0.00420700  42.3600000 coin for 0.17819300 BTC
SUCCESS 18269xxxx BUY order sent  BTC_XCP at price  0.00360138  42.4800000 coin for 0.15300000 BTC

ERROR Not enough PPC. SELL order sent  BTC_PPC at price  0.00079413  224.080000 coin for 0.17795300 BTC
SUCCESS 51569xxxx BUY order sent  BTC_PPC at price  0.00068073  224.760000 coin for 0.15300000 BTC

BOT bought coins, but couldn't sell because of ERROR?? How you can explain that?
Now i'm thinking between fix lose or wait???

That's why I cancelled them as soon as I saw the error...Hopefully the dev. is working on it and we will get a refund with some extra days due to this issue.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: October 13, 2016, 07:15:23 PM

Only 3 techs are relevant for BAML and NEM is one of them!

When major banks research about blockchain, they look for the best technology. Here is a report made by Bank of America Merril Lynch about "Fintech and blockchain: The impact on
Japan’s IT services sector"
http://pdfsr.com/pdf/baml-report-fintech-and-blockchain-the-impact-on-japan-s-it-services-sector
. In this report they only considered 3 open source projects: NEM, Bitcoin and Ethereum. This says a lot about where NEM stands, and looking at these 3 projects market cap I wonder which one has the biggest opportunity to grow... yup, you got it right: NEM.
Wow! NEM keeps surprising... I don't get how this project is so undervalued. I guess there are too many shitcoins creating too many noise. I will buy before it moons again  Cool

Congratz NEM!

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Mobile app wallet supporting multi-signature |Security| on: August 19, 2016, 04:06:17 AM
Is there any altcoin with a mobile app wallet that supports multisig? So far I have only found NEM's mobile wallet but still not out yet.

Cheers
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Best Digital Fiat Hedge BitUSD, USDT or NuBits? on: June 22, 2016, 08:52:41 PM
Are any of these options legit? I want to hedge in fiat without leaving my funds in CB or Kraken for example. Thanks

Hi,

I'm using Sys 1.5 with qt wallet and when I try to sync it crashes. I guess it's due to the 2.0 version. Is there a guide about how to transition to 2.0? Thanks

You need to download the newest wallet.

http://syscoin.org/syscoin-2-0-is-live/

There are also instructions how to "convert".

How to Upgrade/Convert to Syscoin 2.0

Upgrading to Syscoin 2.0 from Syscoin 1.x is very simple.

As with any upgrade, back up your wallet.dat. The location of wallet.dat will vary based on your operating system, it can be found here on Windows and here on Mac. Copy wallet.dat to a safe location as a backup.
Delete the Syscoin 1.x wallet application entirely.
Delete all of the files in your Syscoin data directly except for wallet.dat.
Run the Syscoin 2.0 wallet, you will be warned that your addresses and transaction history are no longer accurate, this is normal and expected, click ok. The wallet should properly reflect your Syscoin 1.x balance.
Awesome, it seems it's working. Thanks a lot for the fast response
Once everything synced I got a message saying corrupted wallet and it crashed. I opened the qt again but the balance is 0 now. It seems it doesnt recognises the wallet file. Any idea? thanks

EDIT: nvm, i delete the wallet files again and copy the old wallet again and it worked.thx

If you have trouble connecting to the network, and have followed the above instructions without getting anywhere, you are most likely to have encountered on of the below.

1. You are blocked by your antivirus
2. You are blocked by your firewall
3. You saved the bitbay.conf file in the wrong location or you saved it as a .txt file instead of a .conf file

Please check for that, and if you still have problems, let us know.

Edit: You need to restart the wallet after adding the conf file.
Hi Mate, thanks for trying to help. However, I checked all the above including the conf file and my qt wallet does not get any connection to sync :s I have quite a bit of BAYs and I want to get them out of the exchange however I can't. What else can I do? Thanks

I forgot to mention that installing somewhere else than default location can be the source of trouble too. If you installed to default location, I suggest you join us on slack http://bitbay.market/wp-login.php?action=slack-invitation
Just ask for me in general channel and we can start troubleshooting step by step
I downloaded the mkt client and it's synchronizing  Grin however my blk001 weights 1mb does the bootstrap works here? where should I paste it? >bitbaydata? or bitbaydata>database

Cheers

Yes, bootstrap works. It was last updated a month or so ago. Bootstrap goes in same folder as your blk0001 file.
Use notepad, and write this:
bitbayd.exe -datadir=%CD%\bitbaydata -loadblock=%CD%\bootstrap.dat
Save as a bat file.
Dobbelclick it after saving to start it.

file name? I got the bootstrap from the 1st page of this thread hope that's ok

Bootstrap from 1st page is fine. You can name the file anything you want. I called mine "bootstrap.bat"

synced 58% so far. Thanks a lot!

sad to read that, didn't mods reply to you at the chat? maybe you can try this way, i hope that there is another one case like cryptsy from where i lost some btc, not so much but enough to repent  to don't withdraw my btc  it in time.
Sorry to hear that... I will try to contact the mods via chat and see how it goes. Thanks for the advice
btw don't forget to update this thread if things go better or worst, this could help others people on your same situation.
I will
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Yobit locking up user funds [WATCH OUT] on: April 14, 2016, 12:16:28 PM
It's been more than a week since my OKCash funds have been locked up by Yobit. I have been trying to contact them but I haven't receive the first reply yet... It seems like they haven't updated their OKCash wallet so none can't either send or withdraw. My withdrawal was done 7 days ago and it still has 0 confirmations...

I don't know if this is the case for other cryptos as well but I now have zero trust in Yobit and I don't see what could stop them from doing this to other cryptos.

Now it's stuck at 801127... and I did follow the instructions here https://blog.shadowproject.io/2016/03/18/stuck-on-block-783001-783007-or-783015/

Hi,

I think you'll need to update your Shadow client. Check the left bottom corner, I'm presuming you're on version 1.4.0 and you're supposed to be on 1.4.0.3.
Thanks, I'm on 1.4.0.1 which files will I need to copy when updating?

edit: wallet.dat?
