Only 3 techs are relevant for BAML and NEM is one of them! When major banks research about blockchain, they look for the best technology. Here is a report made by Bank of America Merril Lynch about "Fintech and blockchain: The impact on Japan’s IT services sector" http://pdfsr.com/pdf/baml-report-fintech-and-blockchain-the-impact-on-japan-s-it-services-sector
. In this report they only considered 3 open source projects: NEM, Bitcoin and Ethereum. This says a lot about where NEM stands, and looking at these 3 projects market cap I wonder which one has the biggest opportunity to grow... yup, you got it right: NEM.

I don't get how this project is so undervalued. I guess there are too many shitcoins creating too many noise. I will buy before it moons again Congratz NEM!

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_jImF0AZXu-aC1qSjYxdE9hVnM/view (full document) Extract below from Bloomberg, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch Global Research: A wide variety of large-scale, sophisticated systems could be built on the Mijin platform, including point program services, account settlement, online gaming, mileage programs, insurance, and transactions at financial and government institutions. Mijin processing capacity among geographically separated nodes at end-2015 was 25 transactions a second and the aim is to achieve 100 transactions a second by end-2016. That jumps to more than several thousand a second when used with private blockchains, on a par with credit card company systems. Three core developers behind the New Economy Movement (NEM) virtual currency have joined forces with Tech Bureau to work on developing Mijin as a private blockchain solution. NEM is a next-generation blockchain project that natively supports multisignature accounts, NameSpace (used to manage multiple assets), and Mosaic functionality, all of which are blockchain-based technologies utilizing APIs for easy handling. Mijin is a private blockchain technology developed at Tech Bureau by the core developers behind the open source public blockchain technology underpinning NEM, which is a next-generation blockchain project initially conceived in 2014. Other derivative private blockchains are also attracting attention, including MultiChain from Bitcoin and Eris and HydraChain from Ethereum. Each solution differs by integration with third-party applications, processing speed, and other factors, but the verification and testing phase in each case is moving forward. We look for adoption in distribution, rights, contract, and oversight applications.
