Who cares about the premine? All this coin needs is KGW implemented. A good dev team shows as much transparency as possible 1% isn't much to be transparent about. I'd rather see a client update. [edit]Plenty of people have mined nearly 1% of worthless coins. They only complain about premines of valuable coins, instead of just being happy about the value. What the devs do with the premine has much less to do with the value of a coin than the hashes it draws. The latter could be greatly improved for 42 with a client update. Good news guys, Kimoto from MEGACOIN just responded to my pm, and he has given us some pointers to get the new client up to date with Gravity well. So far, we have Franko who has helped give us some guidance for our latest updates, and now we have Kimoto from Megacoin. Looking really good, and will keep you all posted of the new updates |

What do these people mean by "getting out" of a coin? Are they going to dump?
It would be pretty naive to dump at this point. You have to look at market fundamentals, and I mean BASICS...which I'm not going to go into.
I should make another 2 week time capsule and store the hashes in the BEER blockchain again, for fun.
I would love to see the shock value if an ecommerce store like overstock does accept 42! Not sure if it will happen, but its good to have some faith! Yes, Overstock is right, the possibilities are endless. The tweet was asking them if they will accept 42 as a payment for high priced products on overstock, and here is their response back!   |

I am done with the drama, lack of community (or support) for this coin. I am migrating to 21 coin personally. It was a great ride but this is silly. I loved hitchhikers guide and back to the future (doc brown/hendo) but that is not enough. When maco posted recently that he was observing in the 21 thread it pissed me off. I could not pinpoint why, then I remembered the "announcement" that the first coin would soon be mined, and the excitement and the call to the community. I also remember the actual response, a 42 video contest, wtf. A giveaway or lottery, or community event? no. a video contest to drive 42 advertisement. I made a video, with the plan that if i placed 1st 2nd or third I would divide my winnings among all entrants who failed to place. Of course I did not place, and consoled myself with a .42 premne there would be more contests, giveaways and community building. there hasn't been. I am out. There are better coins with better support and actual community not just drama nests for my time, intellect and resources. I say good day. I tried, and frankly, you should have.

Should I trust 42Dice ?
Yesterday I invested most of my 42, 0.0021, into 42Dice and have since decided to back out for various reasons.
Thus far, he has refused to return my coins and now claims that the 'founders' of 42coin have decided to invest aswell.
Can you please confirm this ?

Hey, I don't know if I can say "I TRUST 42Dice" .. because I just met the guy about a week ago. The thing is... he does seem pretty active on the project and I am still asking him to make changes to the site progressively and waiting for the new updates. I am monitoring him little by little, and so far .. he seems to be okay. As a general rule of thumb, I would figure that I lost my investment as soon as I sent it out because you never know what could happen with this person. So I only invest what I am willing to lose. I sure hope this is not the case in any investment but that's how the investment game goes I guess. I only invest what I am prepared to lose. Then again, there may be an early opportunity up for grabs for being an invested partner in his project... so who knows, right? Honestly, its your coins and I just recommend investing wisely in anything you do... even if it wasn't 42, I'd tell you the same thing about other coins or projects. I may get involved in this launch to help him get started or it may be someone else looking to invest. I am not 100% sure at this point I am waiting for an update from him.
