221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: cryptocoincharts.info - bitcoin / altcoin charts on: March 10, 2014, 09:57:21 AM

Love your revamp of one of the most useful coin sites.

Currently enjoying your graphical representation http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/coins/graphicalComparison

As a feature request. Add the ability to see this graphically over different time periods/dates. I think this will be essential in the future to visualise how the markets are evolving and what coins to watch.  Pretty pleasewith cherries ontop

great work, many thanks
222  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: March 10, 2014, 09:50:10 AM

Whilst 'these bubbles' look great, there seems to be no indication as to time period. Would be interesting to see change /D/W/M/Y this would give a great visualisation of how things are progressing, and which markets to follow.

edit: says 24hrs period ..i'm blind- still would be nice to see other time periods.
223  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you have missing Bitstamp SEPA transfers, post here. on: March 09, 2014, 01:29:16 AM
These problems seem to be continuing.   Roll Eyes

Sent transfer to Bitstamp on the 17th February and still nothing. Support are frustratingly slow to reply to simple questions, and keep asking me for redundant information that I have already supplied. My bank confirms the deposit arrived safely 24 hours after the SEPA instructions were received with all the relevant references and account numbers double checked.

So my question to BITSTAMP is what are you playing at?

My question to everyone else, as I have not read the entire thread. Do these deposits go through EVENTUALLY?? Or have some gone completely missing?

I've experienced these problems before. Delayed deposits, eventually being returned to my account (6weeks later) and failing to transfer in...... Guess where?Huh?

Update from bit121
It is with regret that our bank has indicated that they are no longer willing to accept sterling deposits. We are seeking new banking arrangements and hope to be able to accept sterling deposits again, once agreements are in place. We wish to reassure bit121 users that all sterling currency and bitcoins are safe and can be withdrawn at any time. At this time, our customers are still able to make sterling withdrawals, deposit and withdraw bitcoins and continue trading.

Oh No  Cry

Banks in the uk really hitting hard.
229  Economy / Securities / Re: [NEO&BEE] - The Neo & Bee Speculation Thread on: February 28, 2014, 11:33:36 PM
Stop saying shares are being destroyed. That was never a thing.

Right now I'm confused.  Huh

when he says destroyed does that mean not issued? or were they kept as unfloated shares and hence still belong to Neo ?

if there are any official posts on this a nudge in the right direction would be appreciated.

edit all i've seen so far is this

February 5th, 2014 - IPVO End Date Announcement

Currently, one can purchase NEOBEE shares directly from LMB Holdings at 0.003 bitcoins each. However, on February 23, 2014, any remaining unsold NEOBEE shares at LMB-holdings.com will be taken off the market, bringing the original IPVO to a definitive end.

Shares will remain tradable at HavelockInvestments.com at market prices. Transfer services will remain available between LMB-holdings.com and HavelockInvestments.com by emailing tat.investments@gmail.com and paying any applicable fees.

We will provide another update that will detail what will happen to any unsold shares, how dividends are affected, and under what conditions shares may be made available for sale in the future.

Future share releases would be under a new class of shares, and would not include the 0.0035btc of priority payments of dividends that the current shares have. We do not have any current plans to re-release the unsold shares. Any offerings will be announced at least 30 days in advance.

Please feel free to ask questions here, and we'll try to make sure everything pertinent is addressed in the update.

Missed this elsewhere. What happened to the unsold shares?

Destroyed, may be sold in the future with different conditions than ours.

Thanks.

He did a great job of ELI5ing to our globalist masters. I think he convinced them to corner the market. They will probably start by closing down a major exchange and crashing the price. Then they will indict major Bitcoin personalities on trumped up charges. Then they will start rumors of bans on Bitcoin in major countries. They will continue shock and awe tactics until they shake out every weak hand and buy enough bitcoins to continue their family legacies into the next centuries.

233  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: February 28, 2014, 03:13:32 AM

Another victim.   Angry   The sooner havelock gets their shit together and locks accounts to designated BCT withdrawal addresses the better. This could also include an option whereby share transfers to other accounts over a user designated quantity must be authorised by signing that address.

These simple features would put an end to this sort of crap.

post your story on the havelock thread name and shame.
234  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Havelock Investments - Exchange feedback/comments on: February 27, 2014, 09:29:10 PM

REMINDER: AM1, AM100, and the SMG passthrough will all be controlled by Havelock Investments by March 1st, 2014.

The underlying ASICMINER shares are already in the process of being transferred to 1J5fvfUrDcZj8rrpVHMgn8u7sXee84QkPd --- AMFund@havelockinvestments.com

All AM1,AM100, and SMG(PT) transfer requests and related support requests should be sent to the Havelock from now on.

TAT as a farewell gesture and if you agree. There are many folk here that would like to see Havelock publish share listings, as registered to individual bitcoin addresses in case of a meltdown with the exchange. Nobody wants to see another BTC-TC or Bitfunder. The importance of having a publicly available asset register has been proven from these events.

I ask, please use whatever influence you have with Havelock to get them to implement locked BTC addresses per account or per asset, and have these published pseudonymously for all to see.  This would be of great service and security for the community.

thanks for you consideration.

I've asked for verification wallet address options enough times for them to get the point.

However, I disagree with mandatory public ledgers being required for any shareholder, even if psuedoanonymous.

Wow thanks, hopefully they will get the message eventually.

For the sake of discussion, if you dislike public ledgers. What do you propose in the case of rapid shutdown. Domain/servers ceased everyone arrested scenario? Apart from an e-mail address there seems to be no way to independently verify shareholders and holdings.
235  Economy / Economics / Re: Distribution of bitcoin wealth by owner on: February 27, 2014, 09:04:45 PM
February update

This would be a great idea now we know the extent of the Gox 744,400XBT (or more) I see the most likely scenario is extreme incompetence and that the keys are lost. It might be possible to do some detective work on accounts of a certain age and say similar numbers such as 10,000 btc if these coins turn out the be lost then that considerably changes your wealth distribution table.

edit: alot of good analysis going on in this thread   http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1z37zw/mt_gox_has_at_least_200k_btc/

Can you ever really rule out variance  Tongue

Dear AM Fund unit holders on Havelock,

We do understand your concern and we take the trust given to us by the shareholders of ASICMINER very seriously.

After March 1st, Havelock Investments will handle the Importing and Exporting of shares in and out of Havelock instead of TAT. Nothing in terms of fees will change.
Instructions on how to import and export your shares will be available on our AM Fund page on Havelock Investments.

In the event that Havelock can no longer stay in business for whatever reason, shareholders will send us a dedicated Bitcoin address from their email address tied to their account on Havelock.

A list of the shareholders' Bitcoin address and the number of units they hold will be sent directly to friedcat with a request to transfer the shares to direct shares.

Feel free to contact us with any questions and concerns,

Havelock Investments

I think this is something Havelock are suspiciously slow to implement. It should be mandatory for all companies listed on the exchange.
Someone start a petition  Tongue

Would it be an option to hold a public shareholder list like Bitfunder used to? (with a public BTC address tied to each account)

Interesting Idea. Would RSM be looking to get more funding in the future as a startup from the syndicate?

It might be nice to get a solar power plant for a lifetime of free electricity or some fancy cooling system that could heat houses.
That would cut costs.... just daydreaming  Wink
