from fund overview Our dividend will be approximately 50% of total mining revenue, with the other half going towards expenses and reinvestment in new hardware. The eventual goal is to increase the dividend over time. I can't seem to find it written down anywhere. Can someone clarify how the other 50% is divided up? obviously expenses and reinvestment but i'm trying to get a handle on 'expenses' that can be a rather broad term. Does the fund take a fixed % for this each month and is this the 'management fee' as included in the financial spreadsheet? (last month 05 seems to be approximately 10% management fee) thanks

I've obtained 100 shares of ASICMiner-PT at an average cost of 2.47BTC/share and will distribute 100% of the dividends received to bASIC-MINING shareholders upon receipt. Dividends from the PT will be divided into 7 portions, added to our own mining revenue, and distributed daily beginning this Thursday(June 6).
Thanks to all bASIC-MINING shareholders for taking part in this process.
i believe there are no plans yet to sell them, probably at such time as bASIC-MINING needs funds to purchase more ascis.

This has nothing to do with bitcoin... i'm very sorry to leave it here .....its just so good ! http://edition.cnn.com/2013/06/25/opinion/snowden-us-humilation/?hpt=us_midL'affaire Snowden has provided a glorious field day for all those "surrender monkey Commie pinko crypto-Marxist long-haired G8-loathing eco-friendly global-warming anti-free market anti-capitalist anti-McDonald's (anti-stereotype)" anti-Americans who just love to hate the "Land of the Free."
It's surprising how many of them there are these days.

If i can chime in... i'd vote for liquidating any asci shares when we actually need the cash. i'e `the 1200 or so BTC should be used; fist once that is spent then liquidate any outstanding shares at market value. my vote only, not to be taken as financial advice

10:1 would seem the sensible division. Very easy for all to just move the decimal and would give a nice level of liquidity. I think this would be forward thinking.

UPDATE:
A second Avalon has been obtained by bASIC-MINING. Details to follow.
YOU THE MAN !

The timing of Gavins sabbatical to Australia is priceless.
Safely away coding without distraction. The rest of the foundation can fight this next level of bureaucratical nonsense and free publicity.

Keyloggers are probably he main source of account theft of pretty much any account that has value stored in it. So if you want to prevent unauthorized withdrawals, a 2FA option that is keylogger-proof is needed.
Didn't mean to belittle the current 2FA as it is the safest method. I'm really just noting that there is a market (need?) for more than one option of 2FA for those of us that don't carry smartphones.

Would like to see a 2FA email option similar to Blockchain.info.
google 2FA bugs me !
TBH, I never really understood how an email account was a 2nd factor against something like a keylogger? 99% of us probably use their email account on the same PC as their browser? I guess. Keyloggers don't really bother me I was just looking for a 2FA alternative, to prevent unauthorised withdrawals, other than the 'link to address' method you offer.

Initially it was a joke, but the more I think about it maybe 'la Bitcoin réserve' ( or is is 'le' ? ) pretty much bilingual and nicely symbolises a safe preservational environment and then there's the pun on the Fed.

Getting Deja-vu on this topic
"Due to the incredibly small chance of this happening naturally, this event probably represents a fundamental flaw in the way Bitcoin addresses are generated. Sell all your coins and warn your close friends, then notify Gavin Andresen." Then you get Deja-vu again. Then you know something has been changed.. in the Matrix. Pop-up Black cat walks across the screen.
