You could call it 'The Bitcoin Reserve'

Vested interests either side of the table vary massively.---- Removal of the Dollar as the world Currency.
IF USA and UK ban Bitcoin because of its potential = China, Russia want it. Europe is the world battlefield once again.
There's too much at stake for all concerned, too much power to be won and lost. My guess ...All will sit on the fence until the 'Genie of Virtual currencies' has revealed its true potential. Then as usual a massive land grab by those best positioned.

hard to imagine i know ..... but not everyone here has the technical ability or cheap enough electricity to support the network. Perhaps another way to help strengthen it, would be to invest in trustworthy mining companies doing just that???

Any plans to intergrate with WeExchange ? similar to bitfunder it would be good to link my accounts and prevent unauthorised withdrawal.
would require issuing a 'Merchant Authorization Token'

“My goal is to get rich,” says Jonathan Mohan, blunt as you like.
Worst quote ever, thanks for painting bitcoiners as greedy people. Easy tiger

*** PHISHING ATTEMPTS ***
It has been brought to our attention that there is a phishing website setup to steal havelock investments passwords from users that accidentally end up on the wrong website. Please always ensure you are on the OFFICIAL website, and encrypted by HTTPS with the LOCK ICON in your browser. The one and ONLY domain name that we use is: HAVELOCKINVESTMENTS.COM
This is also a great time to remind everyone that using 2 Factor Authentication will one day save your ass. Everyone should enable 2FA on their account for greater security
Cheers, James
I don't know if you saw this as it was down voted pretty fast and I posted a warning, but this was on reddit a few days back linking to a site your probably now aware of, but it might be another lead ?? http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1fucgc/im_having_trouble_logging_in_to/

Hi Graet
Interested to know apart from the simple loan aspect of your security, do you have any plans to grow this asset? By that I mean, do you have any intention to buy back shares at a higher price or increase the interest rate after a certain point?
Thanks

http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/2/910858fa-d3bf-11e2-95d4-00144feab7de.htmlMight be behind a pay wall for some, but its free for several articles a month and well worth registering. Anyway unlike there usual dismissive nonsense this is a huge article, well researched and read by many a billionaire. Still has that tinge of derogatory tone, like some old man looking down his nose at you; but at least he's had the respect to put his glasses on and see what all the fuss is about. A growing band of young evangelists believe the virtual currency Bitcoin is the economic future. But how long before regulation catches up with them? edit: actually this might be a free article, logged out and it still lets me view it. ?

Just to give all a complete understanding on the scale of probability. Can anyone give an estimate as to how long it would take the ENTIRE network hashing simultaneously to crack one address with a big balance ?

Everyone it seems in agreement. Yes its possible but no, it's so unlikely there is no need to worry about it. OK but wouldn't it be fairly simple to have an automatic check within all the clients and a simple prompt .. 'this key pair already exits please try again' Getting Deja-vu on this topic but its nice to rehash once in a while.

Possibility of linking accounts with a fixed bitcoin address? To prevent unauthorised withdrawal.

The very first Single SC 60gh/s unit was shipped out on Tues 06/11/2013 during the 5 o'clock hour. I know this because I happened to visit BFL HQ on the right day. This is a momentous occasion for Butterfly Labs and the Bitcoin community as a whole. I will be posting a full write-up of my visit in the next couple hours. This write-up will contain a lot of information, some of which is unknown to the general public and other information will clarify a lot that has been left to speculation. There were maybe 8 Singles that had been built and tested while I was there, most of which did not have any problems getting into the 60gh range, even with un-binned chips, so no one should worry about getting a device with less than their ordered hashrate. Without further ado, here is some pics of the first Single being boxed up and shipped out to one very lucky customer.......................................... https://forums.butterflylabs.com/announcements/3214-first-single-sc-60gh-s-has-left-building.htmlNot long now If it was delivered today and difficulty didn't rise too quickly just one of our SC's could make ~ BTC58.00 in its first month of mining. I think with the first months profits enough should be taken to order a 50(GH/s) SC and then all the rest paid into a dividend. I think this idea should be carried on until the second month of mining on our third SC. Before we start the 90% reinvestment of profits. What are investors views on this idea? Does a motion need to be held on it? This should perhaps be put forward as a motion on btct.co as its quite a deviation from your prospectus.

+1 Great work. Had a look at it today, seems like its well done but couldn't get it working as intended, and struggled to find any documentation. For my tuppence worth,... It should be open sourced. If these guys can bring one click .bit registration to the masses, keeping the proprietary software is not necessary, open source it and build from a trusted first mover advantage. Keep up the good work guys your on the right path.

Two notes:
Your recent stock split on the HIM fund has messed up my 'Book value' column on the accounts overview page. Something is wrong with you spreadsheet calculations.
On another note it would be great to have a tab on the accounts overview pages showing dividends received and totals, possibly with a reinvest option.
Great service good work guys will be recommending it.

I'm pretty sure adam is just trolling a bit for fun. But it is an interesting point, how do we get the general public to stop thinking of a bitcoin as a.... OMG one costs $120 how can I buy a coffee with that?? Each time I get asked this, and it comes up in some form every time I explain Bitcoin. I use a volume analogy. 'Think of Bitcoin like water, yes you can buy a nice packaged bottles worth, but most people just turn on the tap and use as much as they need, when they need it' Its nearly infinitely divisible, get used to it.

Wow, does real estate typically cost 1 million Euros over there? That's... high.
Yes, for most of the people its high , but its awesome, and that isn't so expensive related other options in same city. Here a link, for this kind of caractheristics; http://www.idealista.com/venta-viviendas/barcelona-barcelona/con-metros-cuadrados-mas-de_200,chalets,casas-de-pueblo,duplex,tres-banos-o-mas,de-cuatro-cinco-habitaciones-o-mas/Otherwise, its one of the bigger options, that you can get with bitcoins currently, so perhaps any early adopter of bitcoin could be interested.. The house is all exterior, with windows on three of the four sides of the house, which gives natural light from the first to the last minute of the day, all year long. How hot does it get in there? I will ask to the owner and reply soon... I'm there now and its a rather lovely 27C ... it gets generally no hotter than about 35C mid summer and no colder than 5C mid winter
