Main question for Yifu is now: How many chips (batches) are left and by when can they be delivered?

Why asking any questions at all? Any answer from a person with zero trust and sub-zero reputation would be completely useless.
In other words, there's no sense in waiting for Yifu's answer. I can tell you: in two weeks™.

365  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSE] ASICs group buy by pidobir on: August 31, 2013, 10:08:59 AM
They say the devices can be overclocked and tuned to give 120 GH, but this may require soldering, not only software tuning.

Still better than Avalon chips and BFL. Make your conclusions.
366  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Poll] Burnins BitFury miner on: August 30, 2013, 04:57:38 PM
So 470 eur + VAT for a complete board? Chips included?
Sorry to ask but it's kind of too good.
What's the downside?

The downside is nobody can be 100% sure about chip delivery date.

Metabank delivers first devices!

369  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Chips (SebastianJu) Batch 6 ordered (Closed) on: August 30, 2013, 01:14:19 PM
The thing is... who will pay the 9500 chips that remains? You? Iam? Or will you find a buyer? Or which of the buyers should be forced to buy anyway? I mean it wouldnt be fair to move all chips to batch 1 then because all batch 1 buyers cant get a refund than. In this case in theory no one could get a refund because every batch would contain some buyers that want to keep. Thats the problem here. So i think the only solution at the end would be to handle this democratic since the solution is somewhat black or white. The choice in between is slim.

But i already posted a question to zefir if we could merge such chips into one batch that isnt refunded in case we only get enough chips together with other groupbuys.

If nothing works i guess there still will be some chips are sold somewhere that could be bought. At least Yifu most probably will have a good amount of chips at the end that he only can sell for low prices.

One possible solution is refunding 5 batches divided between everyone who wants a refund. In this case everyone may receive as little as 5/6 of the initial cost. The remainder of the first batch may be taken by you. I believe most buyers will be OK with that.

Go to a bank, get a 2 month loan, buy and build 1000 chips/boards and the community will support you with 10% deposit orders. This is how business needs to be done, like a business.

This is not how business needs to be done, unless it is a bitcoin bank and bitcoin-nominated loan.
371  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Poll] Burnins BitFury miner on: August 30, 2013, 01:50:55 AM
Do you transfer 70% of Avalon board price to these?
372  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Closed]Avalon Chips - 0.081 BTC (Global+Escrow)-BATCH2 SECURED on: August 29, 2013, 11:02:43 PM
1. i choose to order the PCBs after i read the Terms of Service: i wouldn't buy a preorder without the chance to get a refund. I'm not having a profit from someone else errors, it's not insolent, and he told me a part of the funds were spent only after he gave me a refund. I can give back the spent part of my PCBs preorder to Steve, it's not a problem, he just didn't ask for this: but guess what? I'm still here and i'm not escaping with the "stolen refund".
2. i'm selling at 0.075 and you would ask 0.081.I started from 0.081 since i got the refund. I also tried some higher prices before, looking at others ppl pricing. I'm going down day by day. You should acknowledge yourself before writing. You don't know how many times i explained all the risks involved and all the facts about Avalon chips problems and group buys to newbs that didn't accept at the end: so don't throw shit at me without a reason. I couldn't be more honest with buyers.
3. maybe prices of electricity are not the same here and where you live: if you were in my shoes you would be aware that ROI is not possible anymore. Maybe it's better for everyone if we get a refund from BitSyncom. Maybe it's good news to hear that BitSyncom will (maybe) give refunds.
4. seems like you are so angry with me because i've got a refund. I asked for a refund because i'm not alone, and my friends asked me to try. Steve had the opportunity to prove he deserves our trust. So if you feel so uncomfortable why can't you focus about the real reasons? Why should you blame me instead of yourself?
5. please show some respect and be mature. And please explain the difference between: "get back the amount spent" and "requesting pcb refund + selling chips for less then you bought".

1. Apart from what the TOS say, you must understand that Steve put a lot of funds and time into this and he probably can't refund everyone without losing really much, more than anyone. Just look at burnin who refunds 50% and no more.
3. At this price chips won't be profitable even with free electricity.
4. So to deserve your trust, Steve had to refund you at his own costs?
5. The difference is instead of requesting refund I first asked Steve (posted ITT) if there were any unspent coins/fiat, so we can get back at least anything. Then I said I "would be happy to get back what I spent" meaning "that would be the most optimistic case" because someone implied that devices (with second batch chips) could still be profitable. I didn't request a refund, and if I did I would never mean FULL refund.
373  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Closed]Avalon Chips - 0.081 BTC (Global+Escrow)-BATCH2 SECURED on: August 29, 2013, 01:20:34 PM
Hi Steve and thank you again for your kindness,
i'm selling 160 chips at 0.075/ea
could you please confirm i own 160 shares and that you will process the transaction?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=282402.0

Thank you

EDIT:: seems like BitSyncom is talking about refunds.
I would start to talk about this: ROI is not possible anymore for me (price of electricity here is really high), and if Avalon gives us a full refund for all the chips, we could start a poll to see.

brb making refund form, I'm done with this.

We should start approaching this possibility, like steamboat.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=192916.msg3033196#msg3033196

First you were insolent enough to take advantage of t13hydra's mistake and ask for full PCB refund, despite knowing that at least part of the funds were already spent, and t13hydra refunds you with his own coins. Now you dare offering your chips at the price which will never make ROI, obviously looking for some newbie who can't do his own math.

I posted in this thread about 2 weeks ago saying I would really be happy if I could just get back the amount I spent. I guess many people in this group buy felt the same but no one was such a dick like you, requesting full refund.

Please show some respect for t13hydra and the community. Delete your message and fuck off.

375  Local / Барахолка / Re: Bitfury ASIC 65nm - 120 Gh/s (Украина) on: August 27, 2013, 08:09:35 PM

Roll Eyes

I want Yifu's head on a stick.

Its bad to fall of the earth. It's for a small kid to say i'm not death after no communicatio to people who gave you millions. The worst part is to lie / scam and still not doing anything the third time.

+1

I just want to see Avalon top managers in prison. Don't really care about chips or refund. They can have it back.

Grin

Thanks for the update, but there was no news by MetaBank. In a personal call to me it was not possible to know what will be the final electricity consumption. The only thing I learned was that we could take the device to the hosting 4U enclosure with 360 gh/s. Place on a 3 kw/h ready. All electrical cables, patch cords and switches are available. At the moment I do not see problems for the hosting setup. All will pass quickly within 1 day after receiving. Thx.

Great! Thank you.
379  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSE] ASICs group buy by pidobir on: August 27, 2013, 05:17:29 AM
From the Russian thread: testing and shipping will start in the first week of September, for sure. Metabank is buying back orders for 4k$ per device!

P.S. I think it's time for pidobir to get ready with hosting setup: space, power, networking, etc. Wink
380  Local / Барахолка / Re: [Предзаказ] Bitfury ASIC 65nm on: August 27, 2013, 05:07:38 AM
