4381  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: To contact Xapo Support, please use our FAQs (https://support.xapo.com/) on: November 03, 2016, 12:22:03 PM
I see that the admin is back online today to change the subject of this thread. Have you tried to contact them from the FAQ (as suggested on the thread title? Yeah, I know that their help desk is lame, but maybe admin's "awakening" to change the subject indicating that they have a stronger help team right now?
4382  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 1 Bitcoin giveaway courtesy of btcjack on: November 03, 2016, 12:00:49 PM
Now I get curious.

This is one of the post from the first page

This is open to everyone and it is not only legit but we have been paying bitcoin poker freerolls for a long time and anyone who knows BTCJACK knows that we pay out our followers.

It is an easy request to join our youtube channel and retweet our tweet of the giveaway.

10 random people will be chosen and recieve each 0.1btc....
The names will be posted on the 2nd of november on the website and here on the forum with the payment transaction.

We would like to hold an extra 0.25 btc to be split between 2 people who have come through the forum

Enter your twitter account that you used to reweet and 2 people will get 0.125btc

Good luck to everyone and hope that you win.

The user posting this (since I'm not sure if he's the legitimate admin of the website so I refuse referring him as "admin") clearly uses the plural word for first person which means he is the part of the said subjest (btcjack). But this is a quote from other thread, also a giveaway, and also have some problem, although some people claiming they get the amount.

Smells like scam spirit all over again.

Anyway, every healthy people out there would guess that nobody would give 0.05btc away without making a profit more than 0.05btc. So, i advise you all to not fall for this crap.

I do not own the website

i also sent them  message about the withdrawl
hopefully it will be done today

the bonus was closed and the deal was set in place i am hoping that they will answer soon

You can see that two of his posts contradict each other.

And yet again,

Looking to expand on new bitcoin gambling products
of you own a gambling site in bitcoins or can tell us about one that we do not have on the website that is good to add please contact us
via www.btcjack.com
contact us page

thanks

Another contradiction.

If he is not one of them, he should use "they" and "their" instead of "we" and "our" on his post on this thread. Or if he just trying to help promoting the site, he should add "this is a quote from them" or something like that to show that he is not involved or part of the team. Since he didn't state such thing, then people can freely assume that he is one of the team and can be held fully responsible for this statement if they turns out really not paying. Now, I don't care if:

1. The site BTCJACK is real (never tried them, don't care)
2. The GA on the other thread (the one from his second statement I quoted) was real and paying
3. This GA is real and some people will get paid eventually

What I do care is if this user really related and represent the site and his posts can be considered as official statement of BTCJACK. If he isn't then he should state the disclaimer soon because I think people will get into rage and red numbers will flow into his account. Either that or the BTCJACK team (if they have any account on this forum) should do the disclaim because if they didn't, this user has a potent of polluting their site's reputation.

4383  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: November 01, 2016, 03:50:17 PM
New campaign: Mercatox  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1667667.0
Not sure what they meant by Signature campaig deadline which is on November 13th.

Payment stucture:
Member:  0.00030 BTC per  constructive post ; up to 30 posts per week
Full Member:  0.00050 BTC Per constructive post; up to 30 posts per week
Senior Member:  0.00070 BTC Per constructive post up to 30 posts per week
Hero Member:  0.00070 BTC Per constructive post up to 30 posts per week
Legendary:  0.00070 BTC Per constructive post Max 7 posts per day, up to 30 posts per week

They are on campaign trial, like another one before that I can't remember the name, which means they are testing the response of users upon promoting their site by signature campaign until 13 November, then they'll decide if this promotion method is giving them enough success or anything.

I have applied for signature campaign but will only change my signature if get accepted. How long does this signature campaign will run? what it meant by signature deadline 13th november?
This is first testing campaign. The signature campaign will go on until November 13. After this date we might continue the campaign or change the conditions.
4384  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 1 Bitcoin giveaway courtesy of btcjack on: November 01, 2016, 12:48:59 PM
Hey so whose the winner? Went to the site there's no mention, went to Twitter again no mention? Did any one won? Where can I find more giveaway like this on the forum?

I almost forgot that we have this GA, the thread was drowned by other posts. Give them some more time, the GA said it ended at 1st of November which is still today.
I personally don't think it is fair if I send the link here since it is the thread for btcjack's giveaway, so... I'll just send you a link to someone's post instead https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1649695.msg16686729#msg16686729

O no, I cant access yobit Sad So probably no code for today as well.
Any one knows what happened? first yobit hack, maybe? This looks bad...

It seems they're got some trouble. You can try using the yobit.io as the twitter said it is their official backup site. But I personally think you better wait until everything gets normal because to be honest, this is also the first time I heard about yobit.io

yobit.net and yobit.io
Doesn't comes withdrawal confirmations in the mail.

https://yobit.io/en/  is up. i never heard of this as I'm only on https://yobit.net. Can we login using our login details on yobit.net?
I'm a bit skeptical to do it though but I miss their troll box and I am expecting some profit from an altcoin hype.

Yes, yobit.io could be safely used as they are currently having dns issues.
It is clearly stated on their official twitter page(https://twitter.com/YobitExchange) :

Quote
Please use our backup domain: https://yobit.io
Some issues with dns hosting.

Thanks. DNS server as far i know is an issue from their hosting and registrar, it shouldn't be that long to fix. Don't you think they are DDOSed?

Been with yobit for almost a year already but never had I followed them on twitter  Grin Thus the reason I'm not informed.  They are very popular anyway, I can see 12k followers.

Daily micro-giveaway.

YOBITBE5D2∈⋀284⚡⚡⚡17A7B8E06DOGE

Hint: I wonder now, who's clever the most
I hid all the clues in previous post.

Edit: code was taken
I saw that you posted another riddle around five minutes from the time you posting, but unfortunately the forum broke down (again) when I tried to open this thread and seems broken around a few more minutes that I give up waiting. Too bad  Sad

Anyway, now that I can access this thread, I solved the riddle. The hint was hidden on your previous post, right on the column that I checked yesterday. It now gives two hint,

hint¹:...sports it's in the game hint²: Lockheed MartinLightning II

The first one (clear enough from your symbols) is EA, as in the manufacturer of video game. It's their slogan.
The second one will be F35

Am I right?

CLAIMED

I like your "no secrets here for now", lol. My first reaction was "Oh! A hidden clue!" then when I read them, i feel like %!?!)@*&$#@
Anyway, it is still very interesting.
I can only figure the second hint, combining with your pictograph from previous puzzle.

1: ⚁+⚂= ⇷ †
2: ⇷ †  = B C (from previous puzzle)
so: ⚁+⚂ = B C
means: ⚁ = B and ⚂ = C

I can't figure how to read the first one, though. So I decided to do a trial and error by assuming ⚀ = A which resulting

YOBIT-B--A---BB--------AA--DOGE

I will really appreciate if you want to explain how to read the first hint, though
4389  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: October 29, 2016, 12:42:11 PM

Thank you. I also believe there might be another explanation for people not seemingly posting about their winnings. Just yesterday someone posted about winning $20 (in this thread or the one in the gambling section, I don't remember) and posted their referral link in that post too (as I suggest they do in the email I send winners) and as I was online then, I quoted their post and thanked them. After doing that, in about 15 minutes, their post and mine was deleted by a moderator for having a referral link. Many times I get notifications about people posting in the freebitco.in topics but when I check them, their posts are deleted. I probably need to change the email I send winners and offer them some kind of incentives for posting rather than asking them to post their referral links.

Yes, Admin. It against the rule. We are not allowed to put referral link anywhere on our post. If I'm not mistaken, the space for signature is actually dedicated for referral link, that is where we can place our code without the risk of being removed. That is why most of your posts (except if you quote one with ref code) never get deleted. So if you want to give them some incentive, better suggest them by giving some extra credit instead of encouraging them to post their code.

And yes, it was from the gambling section, I was there too, I warn that user about referral link. On my quoted text, I deleted the ref code but mine is still get deleted too, however. Not that it matters since my aim is only to warn him. Tongue
4390  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: October 28, 2016, 07:40:19 PM
Hey, are there any general rules/guidelines on how to create a decent signature for campaign that is already running?

You mean you're going to do a design bounty for a signature campaign? As far as I know, you only need to create the best design that match dev's preference. No other rules beside that.

Two things. First, I wonder what causes you to revive from a long long long deep sleep this month. I saw that you've been inactive for almost three years before suddenly re-active this month. Not that it violate any rules, just curious.

Second, have you read the first post? Carefully? I'm afraid you can't enroll, the campaign is full. Although due to so many people leaving, maybe admin have another policy about this. Only admin can decide, though
4393  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SHOULD I BUY AND HOLD BTC, DASH, DOGE on: October 27, 2016, 06:01:47 PM
I wonder about what happen to DASH, though. I am aware that lots of altcoin experiencing slight down rate, but DASH seems having a very difficult phase, it keeps going down. Anyone knows why? Even LTC didn't seems to suffer such downslope this great
4394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Is there a vacancy for newbie and Jr member on: October 27, 2016, 05:58:42 PM
I need to earn bitcoin. I am very hardworking and partime for this forum because I don't have an outside work. I will surely and I will do my very best to complete the task with guiguide and instructions.

If you mean a vacancy for signature campaign, I'm afraid your option will be extremely limited. But you can check them yourself here. Look for the last page, Fatanut will usually give a very updated table. If you insist on campaign and didn't limit your choice only to payment on bitcoin, you can have altcoin campaign. As far as I know, there were not anyone who compile a complete and well updated list, not in English anyway.

However, if you look for a part time job that is other than signature, your option will be very wide. There are actually so many things that newbie and Jr can do on this forum. You can check here, I never checked them but I think you can give them a try. Also you can apply for coin bounty like designing signature or compiling wallet or other skill-related job that frequently offered on marketplace (altcoin) or altcoin service announcement section.

Lastly, I think you better move this thread to beginner and help because... well, I just don't think it's the right section for this question

4396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Newbie here.....Bit coin atm transaction stuck on: October 27, 2016, 11:24:57 AM
A lot of people are having this same problem. You need to wait as the money will eventually reach it's destination or turn back to you after a few days if the network rejects such transaction. To make sure to get a confirmation sooner rather than later we should use a fee of 0.0005 Btc/Kb and since a lot of transactions are less than 1 kb when you are sending from one address to another one, you can use 0.0007 btc as fee and you will see fast confirmations. We can only wait now.

same thing happen to me from my blockchain wallet. i hope someone help me.. im afraid that this transaction will not confirm Sad

https://blockchain.info/tx/e6b62a85f13a2d167c3240e7fa0d77b33f62b102a051753387d15fb27b952d13

problem is it also sent some btc from unconfirmed wallet Sad Sad

i try to rebroadcast this transaction but nothing happen.

https://blockchain.info/tx/c7d7f82fac16cc5cd6fcdca76cbe52466adf799059714c7e2c69e7ca71aa06df

It will get confirmation soon the first transaction you have posted here, it has a good fee of 0.0015 btc and the transaction is 2.5 kb so minimum fee to be accepted needs to be 0.0015 which you have. Don't worry.

if the transaction rejected by the network it would turn back my bitcoin? im using blockchain wallet Smiley i hope it would turn back to my wallet when the transaction rejected by the network.

Not sure what will happen if you use bitcoin ATM because I never use them, but if you do "usual" transaction (i.e. transfer between address) it will return back to the sender's wallet after several days.

Holydarkness,I have filled the change rank form since last week Tuesday and that's why it curious that I'm still on Full member list. Do I have to do it again? Could the op do something pls

Mine is also still on my previous rank, but it is not to be worried as admin state that they had recorded your submission form. Our rank on the spreadsheet won't be updated until the end of the period. And even if (in case) they missed your update when they change their spreadsheet, your post here will be an enough proof that you reached this rank at the date listed on your post.

Dear Komodo Team, As of today October 26, I am now leaving the campaign. It was a great being part of the promotion team for the past few weeks. I wish you goodluck and success. Please update my status. I will be waiting for the ICO end for the bounty. Again, thank you.

If you don't go until the end, I highly doubt you'll get anything at the end of the ICO (November 20th for those that are not aware of it).

Actually, I am highly sure that they will get something equals to their deserved payment at the end of the ICO, as admin had stated. Unless they didn't tell the admin that they quit, because if they do that, admin will only see that they didn't put the signature instead of leaving mid-way.

~snip~
btw Hi Komodo, Just want to confirm that if I leave the campaign before ico ends, payment will still be sent at the end of campaign, Yes?

Yes, just send us a message when you leave, so we know for how long period we should pay you. The payment will happen at the same time for everyone regardless.

If someone leaves the campaign without notifying they will run into problems as we would reject them for not wearing the signature. So please always inform us if you leave the campaign!
4398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Newbie here.....Bit coin atm transaction stuck on: October 26, 2016, 05:21:45 PM

If it is too hard, you should only focus on "yours are waiting, it could take a fair while until it gets confirmed", you can understand that as your transaction is not yet processed, that is why it's still pending, and you shouldn't be too worried because there are (currently as I wrote) 51,650 other transaction that still pending so you are not alone

Any rEason why

Mostly because of the transaction fee is very low, so they set your priority to well... not too great. I don't know if this will help or is understandable enough for you, but please read on https://coinatmradar.com/blog/bitcoin-atm-transaction-is-delayed-what-to-do/ you will find your problem being explained on the latest section
4399  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services on: October 26, 2016, 05:14:14 PM

there are obstacles anything with paypal?

If your transaction happen between you and yourself or between you and someone that you extremely trusted (like your family, close friends, or.. yourself) then it is fine. The main concern on paypal transaction is the paypal owner can cancel his transfer anytime while the bitcoin owner can not. So, there is a possibility where the bitcoin owner had send his amount to the paypal owner but the paypal owner cancelled his paypal payment, resulting the bitcoin owner being scammed and lost a lot.

Yours and 50 000 more transactions are waiting, mempool @30 mb  It could take a fair while until it gets confirmed.
There's also a warning about spending an unconfirmed amount, and having non standard input..

What you said is all Greek to me can you explain aND what is a non standard input?

If it is too hard, you should only focus on "yours are waiting, it could take a fair while until it gets confirmed", you can understand that as your transaction is not yet processed, that is why it's still pending, and you shouldn't be too worried because there are (currently as I wrote) 51,650 other transaction that still pending so you are not alone
