7381  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: May 23, 2016, 04:27:08 AM
I am looking to help move BTC forward into our economy more and would like to get some suggestions on how we can get more retailers to accept BTC as a payment.  The best part about accepting BTC is that they do not have any threat of charge-back from the customer.  I am just looking for some more input before I start approaching some of these local retailers.
Move Bitcoin forward into our economy is hard to do that if many of your country didnt use bitcoin. Its hard because few people only know this Digital currency. And if they accept they think that who use this as a payment? So for me teach first all of your countrymen to know what is bitcoin, what is the purpose of this in your life, and many more so if you can refer them to use it many of your country men use it and soon you can request to the some establishment that they accept bitcoin.

I think education is the key For business sector to accept bitcoin because if they have proper knowledge what and where are the main factors they can use bitcoin with, by then thet can decide to accept it and also they can lessen the transaction fee if really they will adopt it surely by that many people same as bitcoin user will be hapoy if the time really happen, and also one factor can be consider to online shop owner is the number of user worldwide because the wider the market the more profit they will get, maybe they reconsider and looking for it by now but its hard for them to decide because its corporate money we are talking here.
7382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2016 Play-Off Discussion on: May 23, 2016, 02:34:40 AM
what is happening okc killing gsw in the third oh wow kd and rest of the team showing no mercy I think gsw can't do nothing from this game now all the payers of okc was to ready in any how might be needed to look for some strategy for gsw in game 4. good luck who ever wins this game.
As expected, warriors are just so overrated, we cannot underestimate the thunder because we have two guys here who can really play. They are all stars and they proved that tonight, game 4 still the same result but I think its a close one.

It could be that the Warriors' success in the regular season made them over-confident and complacent. They lost the grit and desire to win because they always know that they can win so easily but they're wrong this time.

This is a huge lose for gsw today goddam lead for okc they nailed gsw for having huge advantage for todays game, surely okc will take the lead standings for now curry and thompson and the rest of gsw squads seems sleeping today, their not playing what they used to play and there messing this badly for 28 points lead wow for okc for making hardwork, it seems they got perfect scouting agents in their side they burried gsw Next game is gonna be though adjustment for warriors
7383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Do you prefer your money to be in cash or bitcoins? on: May 22, 2016, 12:35:25 PM
maybe I would choose both. partly into cash and partly into Bitcoins. because too many in bitcoin, the risk is too great when the price drops.

That's true but if I have to travel overseas then I would keep it in bitcoins, as there is no limit in bitcoin, but in cash you can carry only limited amount.

But id rather choose cash because by that we know that our money is safety in our hands and we can uae anytime we want without worying  that our bitcoin will be gone or price will drop and thats what im intended to do since im using bitcoin if i earn i will cash out it weekly basis so i can enjoy my hard earn money, and choosing bitcoin not realy bad if your risktaker enough and ready to losr anything with it.
7384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Investment Type do you Prefer??? on: May 22, 2016, 11:58:07 AM
If I have good amount of money then I would surely invest  my some money in gambling as I know its risky but if it clicks then it can make me rich very soon, if you play with high amount you can also win higher amount.

Gambling is something good too. Some matchs are really easy to predict, like tonight's one. That's free money with near no-limit.

Seriously? I take it you would be willing to sell your house and everything else you own and use the money for the bet? I myself would sell my house without so much as a thought if I knew the outcome of a match with 100% certainty. There is no such thing as a sure bet no matter the odds.

Some matchs like PSG-Troyes in the final of the Coupe de la Lige is an outcome sure at 100%. For this kind of matchs, you can sell your car and buy a better one later.
I think despite the large team play like barcelona or PSG does not mean they will instantly win and secured the win?
because there are any times when they experience less fortunate and defeat?
because not every game every team can win? I've never seen a team that always wins in one season

The only true winner is the person, who bought car Wink There are no 100% sure situations in gambling.

Yeah gambling cannot gaurantee anybody to earn money but many people still do gambliNg because they want to hit 1 time jackpot and win big even if they lose they still do gambing, and those listed above in first page is the type of risky one and no assurance of earnings is type of investment were you can earn big money if your lucky one and these need more proper strategy so you wont be able to lose money always.
7385  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: May 22, 2016, 11:24:47 AM
Where can I put my cash? Banks. I hate banks, they can control my money, also government has right to shut down or freeze my bank account or money, so why should I trust banks or governments? I have Bitcoin that I have full control over it. Privacy is the most important thing in this era, I wouldn't tell how much money I have. Bitcoin gives me this freedom, that's why Bitcoin is over cash.
Bitcoin wallets have some limitations and risks but I agree that there is not any big brother to control like what banks control.
But that limitations and risks are not dangerous like that of banks, the limitations of bitcoin wallet are much less smooth and tolerant, we often do not feel that limitations while dealing in biotin.
As you know you see that there are now more people that is using Bitcoin as their payment method and that is because it works easily and that is nice for the currency.
And it is also safer on the street because you cant be robbed if you are using Bitcoin.

I agree because most people know about bitcoin and knew the use of it will prefer to use bitcoin rather than any processors or cash because they can lessen the transaction fee made by every transaction they want to do, and in bitcoin they can possibly earn big money for investing rather than cash thats why bitcoin users are lucky to know bitcoin because theirs many oppurtunity they can get for it, but for people who dont know nor dont have proper education about it might rather than use cash to avoid them to lose money for something they dont know what they are joining.
7386  Economy / Speculation / Re: When are you selling your bitcoins? on: May 22, 2016, 10:08:29 AM
I think I'm selling mine when they go under 400$, which I hope will never happen, but might even happen today the way it's going down now.
On the other side I think I will sell them at around 900$
I am not sure when I am going to sell my coins, if I see a price that I like and I need some money then  I am going to sell. But now I am just waiting for the price to keep rising.

For me i dont really mind iF im going to sell my coin everyday but the problem their i dont have coin to be sell everyday Smiley but really i do selling my coin everyweek because i need extra money for additional for my allowance or just to buy my needs like items and i dont really mind if i dont earned bitcoinsfor this halving event because where all still winner even though we dont have savings but still we earn big if the price will be stable.
7387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS STILL FAMOUS on: May 22, 2016, 09:42:46 AM
Bitcoin is famous in some countries, but it will take time to be accepted globally, and it is successfully moving towards it and in next few years it can hit the mainstream for sure.
I think bitcoin is already popular in many parts of the world you can see there are people in every country using bitcoin and become bitcoin users. This proves that the ongoing deployment of bitcoin and I'm sure bitcoin will be more spread and famous

When Bitcoin makes its presence felt in Asian countries like China and Pakistan, you can be sure that its popularity is increasing.
Asia is the new frontier for technology.

Bitcoin gain popularity for this generation because i see the increasing numbers and staker joining now globaly and even asian countries have compentency to follow big countries earning big amounts of bitcoin like china they got the biggest part of mining powers, but its fame is nothing compared to dollars because everybody or even kids know dollars while bitcoin is not known for now hy those not techy one. Maybe in near future bitcoin will be known 100%  people globally.
7388  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: May 22, 2016, 07:28:01 AM
For me to motivate women to use bitcoin. i think i just to show bitcoin can withdraw and convert into fiat.. if she know if bitcoin is money.. i will teach them how to collect it.. if she know he can easily get bitcoin from faucet and referring people like coins ph maybe she can use it..

That would be effective on those women who stays at home more often..I just noticed  just the past days that women who have nothing to do much as they are not a bread winner or not working and helping their husband, they love doing small things that could give them small incentives..So probably teaching them how to collect and where to collect is a good way to motivate them, however, I noticed too that most of them love those double your pennies  ponzis..So I think we should educate them well or else they will just keep on investing over and over again on those ponzis as those who invited them inculcates into their minds that investing on ponzi sites are for those who can take the "risk"..

Women uses technology if it's secure and easy.If it looks difficult, illegal or unstable they don't buy it. Bitcoin is still difficult for the average of population, it has a separate wallets , only available online etc
You can motivate them by telling the benefit of the Bitcoin as it is a future currency. More you teach them, the better it is for them.
But such a signature campaign for example, who just commented on this forum and we paid for it will make women attracted to me because it is very easy to do. I am sure there are many things that make a woman interested in bitcoin.

But not all women is english native their are many asian/international gals getting hard time to speak or wrote english but maybe to be introduce them to this furom is good but they need really proper guide because it is new to them, and the proper and effective way to them is to show your daily/weekly income by that surely they will be inspired like what we are being inspired for our newbie days, money can attract anybody Smiley.
7389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price increase because of steam ? on: May 22, 2016, 07:03:36 AM
I dont think steam has a large impact on the price by itself.

It is of course a factor, and it will probably help with the adoption of bitcoin as more people will use it and see the use for it.

Merchant acceptance will not have a positive impact on the price as there is really no reason for it to do so. It doesn't add anything beside them accepting Bitcoin through services such as BitPay etc. That's why it doesn't and shouldn't have a positive impact on the price.

It really doesnt effect because the only thing can do about it is it will make bitcoin user larger, and also it can open up the awareness to other business shops that bitcoin is existing and accepted by steam maybe it can affect and they accept it to but somehow as you can see the price now its terribly decreasing dont know why maybe theirs lot of people selling their coins  for their own good but really the main factor that bitcoin can go up to higher price is the more people buying, the bigger the demand the highee price will go up.
7390  Other / Off-topic / Re: Way to get bitcoin..!! on: May 22, 2016, 06:40:59 AM
Ways to get bitcoin are too many so many chances that you can earn here more. But there are many ways that too risky like gambling, investing in hyip site and trading if you dont know i think it is risky too. Because in my first time in trading il buy high and sell low because the coin price is drop Sad.

It is better to stay away from those risky ways of getting bitcoin. Because once you tried it and it gave you an excitement.
It can be addictive and you will have hard time to remove it.
So as early as you can don't ever try it but if you can control yourself , your emotions it is still up to your decision.

instead do some gamble, better you offering your service like coding or desinging that provide more better paid and very low risk. For example : I'm helping my friend promoting online shop

That's right, it is much better to work for your own service and offer it for the employee who are looking for freelancers.
And you can easily earn per hour depending on your contract with your employer.

I agree with that because if you work as freelance you can earn big money rather than listed above aside from trading is kinda boring thing if someone will try that they will not last for 1 day, freelance can give you high paying jobs you can search in google or you can go to upwork.com their you can earn 5$ an hour depends on your skills, their have different types of works you can select their but its not easy to get client because theirs many competators  with high portfolio and job experience their but all you need to do is hardwork and perseverance to get a job their.
7391  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: what site you created your first wallet? on: May 22, 2016, 06:12:00 AM
For me ive created first wallet is coins.ph because majority of us filipino bitcoin using this wallet because it has lot of feature we can buy load, very user friendly and we can cash out easily our coins whenever we want and it also had low fee or absolutely free for when we do cash out, and assurance for costumer is safetyness of our wallet provider thats why majority of people use that wallet and we cannot getting hard time in terms we need immediately, this wallet also had friendly costumer support that if you have problem for your cash out are very attaintive and fix your problem immediately, thats why we like coins.ph
7392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: May 22, 2016, 05:46:22 AM

Gambling is never a fun, but it gives more enthusiasm than having fun through other activities. I believe gambling is always good and a good method to earn when involved with limitations. It becomes a problem when those limits were crossed.

Well it is good to earn in gambling but you should have a limitation when you play it because it can surely will got in to you when you become addicted to it so be very cautious when you play because you can not return when you certainly became addicted to it.
Absolutely, we should limit our selves in gambling even if we are winning because gambling is design for profit of the owners and not us, in the long run we will still lose if we continue.

Moderate gambling is the proper way to lose big money and dont make up in your mind that you can make a living with it because it turns that you will lose big money as you expect to win big enough for it, maybe you can see other win to much but maybe it is their lucky day and if you can ask their past history in gambling they lose to much rather than winnings and only owner of gambling platforms can assure better life because they can earn big revenue daily and the bigger player the have the bigger the profit they can earn.
7393  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: May 22, 2016, 04:28:53 AM
I know there are many big players who manipulate bitcoin price and make huge profits but can we the bitcointalk members also form a cartel and let bitcoin price never fall?is it possible that we manipulate price as I am sure most of bitcoin users visit this forum
Is it possible if many bitcoin users help us because if only here in bitcoin forum i think few people only here and i think the big holder of bitcoin is not here so theres a chance that we cant manipulate it. But if we have  80% of bitcoin worldwide i think we can manipulate it and we can earn here big.

Nope your wrong with that big names in btc and holders are here and theyre hiding their identity but still they are socialized people here maybe and bitcointalk.org is the main furom of btc created by satoshi nakamoto thats why their no doubt that they are here, and also chinese people is the biggest btc player they can manipulate the price of it if they want if reallt they want to play with it, thats why anyone can manipulate its is because even individuals that have big amount can control it,
7394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: May 21, 2016, 11:15:01 PM
with my experience as a gambler from more than one year, I can say, any one can win if he plays with good control over his emotions and greediness. We should take over all profits of a particular month. But not session wise.
Tup this will workout but for this we have to play safely and think lot about our betting. Not every one will control there emotions and greediness while playing gambling. Because our winning bet will change our greediness and loss will change our emotions so those who control there will power they can follow this method. If they follow this method really we can make some profit.
Yes. I agree with you. It is very hard to control our emotions and greediness while we play. I too lost so much in the early days of gambling. But now, in fact, it is my full time earning resources. I play regularly. But with very strict rules.
So do you manage to win or loose with strict rules? As I don't think any rules and regulations will help you in winning unless you don't have luck favoring you.

Very agree with that because higher chance for you to ve loose out of greed if you keep dp gambling in the long run but i think its ok if you threat it as your hobby or entertainment that you can afford to lose only is just your spare money,  but really in gambling if luck doesnt on your side totally lose for you, although at first try you win and win but surely if bad luck strike you will try to catch up and gamble big money just try to get back your lose by that you end up losing big money and cry later.
7395  Economy / Economics / Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry? on: May 21, 2016, 11:23:33 AM
Instead of electric cars, use of alternate sources of energy like solar cars would affect the oil industry more and are more environment friendly ways of transportation. Affect on oil industry will affect the economy of few countries badly as they need to find alternate sources of income.
Yes, nowadays oil has more than one opponent although they all may decrease use of oil and also we cannot measure effect of one factor on oil.

It can surely affect on oil if electric cars really running on street well they lose big percentage of their income and thats great effect may ended to many people lose job and big percentage of world trade economy would be down, and iF realy happen those king oil countries will be suck and their economy will broke and alerted to be break down, and for sure government would not let it happen because they are making income with it in trades and surely they wil not let an ally in economy country will be down.
7396  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has bitcoin had success in China? on: May 21, 2016, 10:07:30 AM
Cause of cheap electricity and and other goods for mining, i think that 70% of miners now located in China.

Its because its not just due to mining for home miners to them. Its also because all the top huge mining pool is located in china.

Also followed with chinese exchanges thats been around as the same time as bitstamp.

Yes because chinese men get the high percentage part of mining of bitcoin and they got low fees in electricity, and maybe it is the reason  why we can see a lot of chinese bitcoin user because they almost taken. All mining powers and maybe they want to control bitcoin, and many people take that opourtunity to advertise their business to chinese men, coz they knew lot of them are risk takers and join on programs where they can be benifited.
7397  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving has already Begun, Yes or No? on: May 21, 2016, 09:47:37 AM
It has not started yet.

The halving effect will be felt 6 months after the halving events. This happened in the halving in 2012.

I agree its not started yet price of bitcoin now is not really high and still cheap, its ok to buy by this state because price is not high and maybe we see the price rising for past these i though it was the effect of massive people buying bitcoins for that week and save for their wallet so they can join the earner trend in halving times occur, but today really price of bitcoin is decreasing dont know why but hoping it will go down so much and it will stabilzed around 450$ and cant still earn profit with bitcoin even though halving is not occuring.
7398  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: May 21, 2016, 09:28:24 AM
That depends on the value of Bitcoin and that is hard to predict because it is a curreny so you never know what the value will be of Bitcoin and that is the problem, but you never know.
I think you need more than some 50 Bitcoins for sure otherwise it will be not possible to you if the value is going to reduce, there are many risks.

Since there is no stability in the price of bitcoin, you cannot peridict whats going to happen in next few years even. Even if is difficult to predict the price after few months also.

price of bitcoin is unstable and you can rely your retireMent money their because we never knew what will happen to bitcoin in future, price of it is kinda movy and theres always treath to users that price will go down and what if bitcoins price died while your retirement money is their? Well your broke, lose money and vain you will leave im home for the age person by that, i strongly suggest that if you plan to have retirement btc money cash it out and put it in banks.
7399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: May 21, 2016, 09:16:57 AM
Do you think that in this year halving is a profitable???
If the halving is going to happen it is going to make the Bitcoin cheaper so for the people who want to buy coins it is profitable. For the people who want to sell coins this is not so good news.
but bitcoin is not going cheaper. it is going higher.. 98% peoples predicted that about halving. they said already bitcoin will touch 1000 dollar price at this year's halving. the halving will be profitable for sellers. and for buyers of course if they buy before halving and hold them.

I would say halving is more profitable for those who have biggest savings volume in btc because they are the one who get benifited for these halving  phenomena and for those who have little balance who waits longer for halving well yes they can earn but only little and if they invest it When halving still not occur well they can big profit with it since halving occurs,

But really halving is profitable as i cab see the history chart of halving event in wiki it show and tells that halving have really great effect to bitcoins price up so by that we can tell halving is profitable as history says.

7400  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: May 21, 2016, 08:47:04 AM
Save most of it and only sell the amount that will sufficiently meet your needs.

I hope you do not have too many needs Cheesy

and we have some needs everyday so we will sell our bitcoin everyday  Cheesy
i choose to sell if you think the price will be down, and hold if you think price will be rise

This isnt just you lol.

This is probably 90% of the people on this forum, unless they have other investments and already established.

But most I assume are in their 20`s working at a job and trying to get into the scene so they force to sell extra coin to pay bills as well.

I dont do mining because i dont really trust cloud mining nowadays because all of them will turn scam and it can make you cry if you invest in low roi ponzi scheme, and i do selling my coins weekly to have money or allowance that can i use in weekly basis and also to have savings and i dont really see bad thngs in selling coins because thats what we are intended to here, bitcoins is not for display it is used to multiply and earn profit so we can have extra income in online world, and its very helpful.
