Well I'm on localbitcoins from approx 2 years but never got any issues. As criptix said they support the side with most evidence but there are multiple factors involved, if your account does not have any feedback, and the other one have few or many, they are going to take his side obviously. Another thing is evidence and your communication with support staff.
