21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as the currency of the future? on: December 17, 2017, 06:30:05 PM
Insurance now does not happen because bitcoin does not know most, so we have to do our best to improve the bitcoin project if it is known to many people and that it will come true with what you say

Bitcoin is becoming popular now, and not only bitcoin but some other cryptocurrencies. I think bitcoin will lead as the main currency and now is the future. BTW, recently bitcoin get so much attention from mainstream media that it reach $20,000 dollar already.

23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am i too late on: December 04, 2017, 02:42:51 AM
diI will not repeat my mistake in the past when I know bitcoin for $ 3000 and now the price has already reached $ 11,000 so please play your own assumptions to invest now or missed again like I d in the past..

Still its not too late to invest. Same here, I know bitcoin since 2014 and its a lot cheaper bt I did not believe it first, to my mind its another scam. But look at us now, we are a believer converts of this technology and sees its potential. Also, there are still room for bitcoin to grow, just hold on.

25  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tracking transactions on: December 03, 2017, 11:56:48 PM
Hello everyone - my first post here  Grin

How does everyone rack their trades?  I'm not only asking for tax reasons, but also to get a general idea of any profit or loss.

I'd really like to find a website that will let me enter my trades, as well as mining information, and could refresh prices from online sources.

Any tips for a noob?

I am using blockfolio to track my trades for prices and several info. Its a good apps for android. Others are using tab trader apps. Also, If you are using poloniex, there is a transaction history too. Hope this can helps.
26  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Start with Bitcoin or Ethereum on: December 03, 2017, 11:54:18 PM
It will be better to start with bitcoin, because all of the coin can be traded with btc and if you suddenly feel don't want to trade anything,  btc still good as investment by holding it, so holding bitcoin got a smaller risk of losing money, and I feel it's more profitable to hold btc for a long term rather than eth

Yes, its good to be familiar with bitcoin first or and Ethereum. Almost all token and coins are paired with bitcoin. dollar tether and Ethereum, so its easy to trade if you are familiar with it already. Also this coins are top coins in coinmarketcap, meaning it has bigger market capitalization and quite stable already.
27  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can I earn bitcoin using facebook, youtube, or in any social media? on: December 03, 2017, 11:51:27 PM
I think only airdrops use social media to advertise and gave you free tokens

NO, In campaigns there is budget for social media campaign too including youtube for making video ads.

To OP, yeah you can earn from it. Just browse the bounty section here on bitcointalk and look for the rules and bounty offerings in social media. Good luck.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Forks are bad for Bitcoin? on: December 03, 2017, 11:47:18 PM
Came across this. Very accurate analysis of forks. 'Kleptocurrency' is the perfect term for forked coins. hahaha love it!

https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/bitcoin-forks/

Bitcoin network needs to find a way to at least stop random little exploitative groups stealing the bitcoin name. Imagine by next year if we had 100 different Bitcoins how ridiculous it would be.
Yes,it spoils the reputation of bitcoin totally.

In addition it also creates another  altcoin which can compete with bitcoin. It divides the supporter and  cause disagreements and conflicts among supporter. Though its an opportunity also since  it will give you exact amount of coins from the original but exactly it spoils the name of bitcoin.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: December 03, 2017, 11:37:18 PM
Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.
Bitcoin has not even been legalized still in our country.I heard that just now, colleges in some european countries have started to add bitcoin as a subject in their studies. Its a new technology which has created a revolution in the world economy. We may expect soon bitcoin to be added as an important lesson in universities all over the world.

That is interesting that the technology isn't legalized in your country, but they are going to start teaching about it!

That is good though that people will start to learn about it in school but it should be legalized. Government always stifles creation and they are just getting in the way once again for no good reason, other than to retain their power.

Thats unfortunate to hear, but hey you can learn from on line tutorials. There are many  sites thats offering the blockchain technology and tutorial to create your own  tokens and coins.  Also, theres an Ethereum  contract tutorial in Zenva and mashable I think...
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: December 03, 2017, 11:34:34 PM
Unfortunately, central banks of many countries won't want to deal with Bitcoin, as cryptocurrency won't bring them any profit.
However, Bitcoin can positively influence the economical situation as it provides the regulation of investments.
I think bitcoin only provides economic benefits for its users only. but does not directly affect the economy of a country. but if the number of bitcoin users in a country reaches millions of people. the economic influence of a country may be considerable. and its impact will be good for the economy of that country

I agree, since it will changed lives of so many people. Also money remitted is an additional revenue money to the said country. It will have great impact in my opinion , and it also created jobs for its citizen and helps the unemployed.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy ETH now? on: December 03, 2017, 11:23:43 PM
I think that this is the best period to purchase ETH. The price of it is increasing and it is your ideal time to buy it now. But the decisions is normally yours. It's up to you if you desire to purchase since the ETH is usually in the great position correct now.

Its playing arounf 0.39xx to .05xxx lately. Still its a best time to buy on that range as we are expecting it to surge in the coming months next year,. There are many projects and upgrades lining up and for  sure it will help the price to improve.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] BANKERA - the Bank for the Blockchain Era on: December 03, 2017, 11:15:47 PM
Is it just me or the new referral system looks like a pyramid to screw your friends' money and get a part of it? I am not a big fan of such systems, where unsophisticated people get burned.

By recommending Bankera you bring more clients which in turn increases the weekly net transactional revenue share.

Thats right. I hope clients continue to use the bankera system. I am very optimistic of this system and I hope it will increased its transaction volume so that everybody will benefit.
33  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: November 26, 2017, 11:58:29 PM

Today many countries accept bitcoin as a virtual currency, is it because bitcoin is so high that they think bitcoin can change the country's economy, or because the country has many bitcoin users already?

I think bitcoin can improve a country's economy. due to the rapidly rising popularity of bitcoin as well as the potential of bitcoin. Everyone uses bitcoin to make payments and also transact.
Yes, it can. Its in the form remittances. It can provide job to many freelancer and companies from other parts of the world can scout talents they needed. They can pay bitcoin like in the form of remittances and its an additional  income for a country.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy ETH now? on: November 26, 2017, 11:54:27 PM
Yes, good time. The price of ethereum is expected to increase, and I added a few more Ethereum to my wallet last week. I prefer Ethereum as a long term investment and ethereum my favorite .

Yes, it still a good time in my opinion also. I bought some of my ETH at 0.106 BTC several months ago and still, it can reach it gain Smiley I am very hopeful of ETH and with new announcement with Vitalik, it will continue to appreciate in value.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO's are finally coming to an end! on: November 26, 2017, 11:50:35 PM
Not sure ICo's will come to an end anytime soon.Numerous projects are been launched as the year is gradually going to an end.Eventhough there might be unrealistic ones yet there are still good promising ICOs which will really do well.

Indeed, there are still many ICO's coming. When ICO is coming to an end, what does it mean? No  ICO anymore? Or, a more trusted ICO that is being regulated? I approve for the latter one, I hope they could set up a  regulating body, and approve only ICO's that is very feasible and realistic that can bring profit.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in the top 20 coins on: November 26, 2017, 11:43:30 PM
Is it a safe bet to invest in the top 20-25 coins on coinmarketcap.com? I’m looking to invest about $20,000 into some cryptos.
Investing in the top 20 could be a smart thing to do though you have to realize that the ranks could changed when a new coin gets introduced.
\\

Yes, This is what I am doing too and  since its quite stable and having milions  or billions of market capitalization, I am convinced that it will not be gone easily. Indeed its a smart move  especially for long term hold.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: November 26, 2017, 11:31:02 PM
I think Doge is for long term use. I do use dodge in transferring from another exchange o another, due to its lower fees Smiley yeah it has no active development but it has its purpose Smiley
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trick for trading? on: November 26, 2017, 11:24:51 PM
i go with arbit, i can get 10 usd profit from 300 usd trading balance per hour. if that day i make 10 arbit i get 100 usd profit. but carefull to with arbit thing if you not fast enough youll end up loosing money

Can you explain what "arbit" is or provide a link please?  Google didn't help me.

I think "arbit" he is referring above is the Arbitrage - meaning buying low  price token in Etherdelta and selling to another exchange for a higher price.

Definition from investopedia:

Quote
Arbitrage is basically buying a security in one market and simultaneously selling it in another market at a higher price, profiting from a temporary difference in prices. This is considered riskless profit for the investor/trader. In the context of the stock market, traders often try to exploit arbitrage opportunities.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know fake Airdrop project on: November 26, 2017, 11:19:55 PM
What's the difference if it's Airdrop? You get their tokens for free and just wait and see, maybe you can sell them.

This is really fake! Any airdrop that is asking for private keys is scam. Why you give your private keys? Its just like giving your keys of your house to the straner. Beware of this. Better download a chrome extension like the "EtherAdressLookUp" so that if you visit suspicious site, it will alert. Most of airdrops are shady, posted by a newbie with no any info about them. Some are just collecting twitter followers, emails and nothing else.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RECOMMENDABLE EXCHANGE on: November 26, 2017, 11:14:48 PM
Hi guys, wanna know your insights on different exchanges for trading especially for Ethereum?

Less fee, where to buy, where to trade and which exchange do you use more often and why? TIA

The most recommendable and has an easy transaction to be used is etherdelta. As of now there are so many users of ED in the whole cryptoworld because of the small fee and it is very reliable for ERC20 wallet users. It becomes famous, naming as the biggest decentralized exchange in the crypto.

I agree with your with Etherdelta. As an additional info better to use metamask  for easier and safer transaction. Also in etherdelta, I can pay  by setting 1 gwei Smiley really cheap.
