201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never say die to Bitcoin on: October 20, 2018, 09:06:08 PM
No one is willing to embrace a change just like that. It has to undergo criticizing and and it is after this that it is finally accepted. Btc is currently undergoing same process and I hold the believe that soon it will hit the mainstream. Well, everyone is entitled to his or her decision but I believe those who hodl now will laugh some day.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can blockchain replace bank? on: October 19, 2018, 06:58:14 AM
Blockchain is a great technology and I believe banks can adopt it, maybe in the future, to make their services more efficient. I do not think blockchain can replace banks as you think.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I like to collect the token on: October 19, 2018, 06:54:59 AM
More than 200 tokens in your wallet??? Earn through what;investment or airdrop or bounty. Well, what I want to say is that it depends on you and your financial needs. If you think all the tokens have good potential and wouldn't die off, then it is good you leave it untouched for a higher prices.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will other coins beat bitcoin in the future? on: October 18, 2018, 06:07:01 PM
You reasons to invest in ICOs is what I term as big hopes. Of course some of these coins can significantly rise some years to come but be rest assured that 8 out of 10 will lose value after they hit exchanges.
205  Other / Archival / Re: Be Safe on: October 18, 2018, 06:03:14 PM
To every right, there is a responsibility. This is a common saying in my country and i believe it is so in almost all countries. What do I mean by this. You cryptocurrency is good and has saved many from the worries of central banks. What we need to do is to be responsible for our own security.
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should NOT determine the market on: October 16, 2018, 06:34:45 PM
I think this has been so because Btc acts more like the central coin. it is involved in almost all transactions such that to even transact between altcoins, in most cases you will use Btc midway. Until this changes, Btc will continue to control the market.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should stay off from market prediction on: October 16, 2018, 06:30:55 PM
I like the idea that as an investor, one need not to pay much attention to price predictions for some reasons other than what you actually suggested. I think it reduces ones ability to study and understand the market himself. It will just let one act based on others understanding of the market and this cannot guarantee success.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I give up now? on: October 05, 2018, 03:52:03 PM
It is obviously a matter of personal choice. There are several others who are getting enough each day from bounty campaigns. It is up to you and in fact a personal responsibility to search and participate in good projects
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins are dying on: October 05, 2018, 03:47:46 PM
I do not know which coins you think are dying. We are in a bear market and all coins are struggling. That is no where closer to dying. Many altcoins are built on fantastic ideas and will really stand. Many others are dying anyway
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Ask "Time To Buy" "HOLD or SELL" "Right time to entry" on: October 04, 2018, 07:48:07 PM
What you said  is absolutely true and i keep saying the market is cyclical. Every time is a good time to buy. You just need to have have a fair knowledge so make good decisions after you enter the market.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin safer than banking? on: October 04, 2018, 07:41:47 PM
What exactly are you talking about: Bitcoin safer than banks???
I can't see how this can be possible. There may be some risks with saving at banks but there is no way that can be anywhere closer to the risks involve with investing in Btc.
212  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you sure that bitcoin will fall? on: October 03, 2018, 07:58:56 PM
AS the number of btc addresses increases, it tells me just one thing that more people are getting on board and hence we are gradually moving towards massive adoption. I dont seem to understand the word fall as used in this case:whether to mean a fall in value or fall as in btc dying but i which case, a rise in new btc addresses sounds good.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went bankrupt when I joined in cryptocurrency on: October 03, 2018, 07:52:42 PM
This very unfortunate to hear. Feel so sorry for this person but a lot can be learnt from this. It sums up what have been said severally on this platform. Invest as much as you can lose, dont expect to get rich within days in crypto and as much as possible, educate yourself especially when you want to venture into trading.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your investment strategy? on: October 02, 2018, 04:32:20 PM
I like to buy more when the value falls and hodl till it rises. Well, the small falls within this bear market keep me confused as to whether to sell and buy even at a lower dip or just to hodl but in most cases I love to hodl.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that the HODL approach is good bitcoin? on: October 02, 2018, 04:24:39 PM
This is wrong. Big players can greatly manipulate the market if they have significant amount with them. HODL on the other hand prevents this from happening so I do not know hodl can cause big players to manipulate the market.
Perhaps we can't restrict people from doing so since they are entitled to their personal decisions
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UNICEF is now accepting donations in Bitcoin and 8 altcoins on: October 02, 2018, 04:19:09 PM
This is absolutely a great news. There has been a lot of good news this year relating to Btc adoption but hasn't shown in terms of value. I do hope that all these news will help Btc to gather enough momentum and rise significantly as we approach the end of the year. I see a brighter days
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why bitcoin won't last long (which are you afraid of?) on: October 01, 2018, 09:10:30 PM
Most of the points are there because perhaps the source of your information was dated about 5 years ago because frankly some of these things you have mentioned doesn't scare anyone again. All these are some individuals view and to me I do not buy into their views
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Panic sellers, please head for the exit (and don't come back) on: October 01, 2018, 09:03:35 PM
Well, we may be suggesting that panic selling is bad but it is not absolutely bad in all situations. It may be the only means to escape great lost. I do not by this encourage panic selling though but we must accept that we can never completely prevent it.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now in use Football Sports on: October 01, 2018, 08:59:30 PM
Of course we have seen few of such news but it is definitely a good news to crypto enthusiasts especially during this period when the market is down. I believe we may be seeing more of such news. I'm currently participating in one ICO which is built with the idea of introducing crypto into football in the major leagues.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long should one have to wait to sell on: September 17, 2018, 09:23:49 AM
I believe that as part of our responsibilities, we need to set targets for all our investment such that we know that when our investment to get to certain value, we will sell. Until we set that target, we will always be stacked in between when to sell or hodl.
