I'll be ordering two as well for my kids but would also like a small coin or something to accompany it. As much as I love bitcoin, it does not have to be bitcoin related as I don't think my kids share the same passion as I do  They send a nice coin with a stand if you pick that option. Yes, any of those things. Any kind of service, web site, etc. Companies are going out paying for news releases, etc. and this will be a good way to get their product listed free. I put up a review of coinbase. it explains what their service and hits some important points that new users would want to know. Now that I put something up I will be getting back to the people who contacted me. |

This is a great idea though people that write product reviews will definitely be expecting something in return and since your website is new i will advise you to let the reviewers/writers understand whether they are writing for free, tips or postponed payment.

The good and bad points o fractional banking has nothing to do with the discussions about Bitcoin unless you think Bitcoin will replace everything. The only important think is getting people to use Bitcoin and making claims that it will somehow affect fractional reserve banking is nonsense.

One should becareful about using the same name on comment sections and forums if they are looking to promote such a thing in these forums. You've still offered no reason as to why the Fractional banking system is good for the average person. I pointed out in a different comment section that you are a wing nut. Anyone who doesn't agree with your fantasy agenda supports the fed, the government, the leviathan, or some other nonsense. You are like the people who go around blaming either Obama or the Bush legacy for every problem on Earth and somehow you twist every story or comment into some discussion of how Bitcoin will solve all the world's problems. The specific discussion you are referencing was about actual Bitcoin use cases and was completely irrelevant to your fantasy about Bitcoin being the singular world currency. My education is in physics and computer science, not economics. However, I know enough to know that you don't have the slightest idea what you are talking about. |

The forum's expert "certification" (recently also extended to /r/Bitcoin) predates "Certified Bitcoin Professional" by at least a year, I think. Here's where I officially announced it, though it existed for quite some time before that. People with a Bitcoin expert badge (or an equivalent core dev badge) are intimately familiar with the theory and inner workings of the Bitcoin network, and they are able to intelligently discuss any proposed change to the network. If they time-traveled to 2007, they would be able to reconstruct something feature-equal and at least a little better than Bitcoin from scratch. Receiving this badge requires a recommendation from someone who already has the badge and approval by an admin. There is no fee or exam. The point is that you are not reliable or credible to offer any type of certification. Since you promote the sale of accounts no such certification, logo, account name, or anything about you or this web site can be trusted. |

Addresses should generally not be reused. Reusing addresses harms the your security and privacy as well as the privacy of all Bitcoin users. Extensive address reuse contributes to systemic risks which endangers the system (what happens when RPG wielding ninjas show up at mining farms with demands to not mine transactions belonging to their enemies? If regular transactions are conducted so that they are indistinguishable to their author's enemies we never need to find out). While the community may not go so far as to prohibit reuse, building infrastructure that rewards it is not a good plan.
Other than the possibility of the random number generator not working correctly address reuse does not automatically "harm" anything. It fully depends on the use case of the individual. Many users realize a benefit of address reuse because of usability and transparency. There is a general bias among the developers over what they perceive as "harm" concerning privacy issues. Nobody should be "penalized" because they have a system that depends on address re-use if there are no other security issues surrounding that. The developers should also not try to influence the code based on their personal biases over the wishes of many users. |

Internet allready has done a lot for decentralisation. Now everyone can sell his stuff on amazon, has a platform for his show or music on Youtube. Twitter and Facebook helped destroying totalitarian regimes all around the world.
The Internet did many things just like Bitcoin can do many things but it does not fundamentally change human nature which is what some of the "wing nuts" and cultists are claiming. |

Maybe we will never obtain a 100% decentralization, because I think the people will start to think decentralization = anarchy but it isn't the same thing. Instead we can decentralize the life aspect as the approach with the government's institutions but it will take some time (and remember the governments can no longer be corrupt, or "bribe").
