No a couple of hundred back. But it is going to 1.65 in two months.
202  Economy / Economics / Re: So you think Gox is a fuckup.... on: April 24, 2013, 09:27:19 PM
What about the Twitter account of a major news agency? Cheesy

Seriously, is that all it takes for the world's biggest stock market's index to drop 143 points?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=kkCwFkOZoOY#t=12s

You probably have never traded. So what. 140 pips is nothing. Dow Jones has fallen 7000$ - thats 70000 pips in a couple of months when the crysis began. Some people got billionaires (literally) off short positions.
203  Economy / Economics / Re: The Switzerland of Bitcoin on: April 24, 2013, 06:14:44 PM
Singapore is the best country of doing business. So I guess bitcoin is going to be best accepted there.
204  Economy / Economics / Re: Tool: Calculate the future value of a single Bitcoin on: April 24, 2013, 06:13:51 PM
Again - get real. 1% of the world economy is ~ 300,000,000,000.00USD.

That's 300 billion. The total amount of coins ever is going to be 84 million.

It means that in that rate a coin will be worth ~3571.42$ per coin.

If it goes so high inflation will destroy world's economy. It might go to 1000000$ per coin, then drop to 1000$ because there are no real money to cash you out!

Do you get it or shall I explain in more detail?

Let's get it a bit easier.

If a bitcoin is worth 100$ today, and there are for instance (just an example) 1,000,000 BTC traded every day through MtGox, it means that MtGox needs 100,000,000$ to exchange all these. However if it goes to 200$ for a single day it will need 200,000,000$. Do you really think they have that kind of leverage? Who is their liquidity provider? The Federal Reserve?

If it gets so expensive so fast it will burst. Yes it might increase in value, but it shall happen within reasonable timeframe of years in order for the exchangers to be able to adjust the volume and money supply they currently have. Otherwise a lot of people will end up burning up graphic cards and all kind of equipment for mining and thousands of BTCs worth nothing.

Another thing that no one thinks about and no one can control - greed.
Most of the bitcoin exchange is done by DIY traders, not miners. When it gets expensive, they sell. Period. They do not care about the whole picture.
If Gox bankrupts it all goes south.

Dude, you have to remove the HydraVision drivers if you installed them.

Best solution - get AMD Catalyst Uninstall Utility, uninstall all drivers.

Then install the new ones, but when asked check "custom" not "express" and install all except HydraVision.

Then (if not installed already) install the SDK.

I couldn't run the program, but that solved the problem.

Sorry Dude.

No offense.
207  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling my Laptop - Sony Vaio VPC-SB1V9E/B - EU only! on: April 23, 2013, 06:04:33 PM
I do not abuse people. Just sick of criticism. I know how to sell my stuff. It might take time.

I know that.

And check amazon for the same model.

As I said - the battery works. I tested it on another notebook. It's a software problem. I will remove all - including MBR of the HDD, then install new OS and BIOS and it will be fine.

The price in Amazon is 2000$. I bought the notebook for ~1500EUR - 2999BGN in late 2011.

The battery lasts 7 hours in power saver mode. That's why it is so expensive.

As I said - characteristics do not matter. Similar to MacBooks. No one will sell a 2 year old MacBook for 399$.

Wonder how people new to bitcoin will react to news like this?

We all thought bitcoin will be banned through drugs or terrorism and they (government) decided it is going to be banned through environmentalism  Grin

It's 21 century terrorism.
209  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling my Laptop - Sony Vaio VPC-SB1V9E/B - EU only! on: April 23, 2013, 12:17:35 PM
My dropshipper address is in Sarasota, FL.
I use that address to buy stuff.

And it is an auction starting at 399. Not final sale.

And you have zero bids. I'll wait a week until you are selling it for 399 satoshis. Then I still won't buy it.

You were trying to charge well over the new price for a second hand and probably stolen laptop with no battery and you are wondering why people are taking the piss out of you. People don't want to deal with a scam merchant, a likely thief, and an abusive a-hole like you.

Idiots stop spamming my topic. The fact that you're losers and give away your money to fraudsters who steal from you is your problem.

Because of idiots like you, everyone in this forum is a "scammer" while in fact most of the scammers are people like yourself, one of which have stolen 2000BTC.

So shut your piehole!

I (myself) have bought the notebook with my own money. And the battery is there. The OS have to be reinstalled. It's a software problem. Battery is in, but it does not recognize it.

The notebook is a high class sony vaio, not some acer bull-crap and the auction begins at 399.

Notebook (old) in amazon is 990$. And I give away a cooler Logitech and a wireless mouse, as well as a bag with it.

SO SHUT IT! If you don't buy - Don't cry!
210  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the least you would buy for 1BTC? on: April 23, 2013, 03:25:22 AM
I would buy 1 oz palladium for 1BTC for now.

From where? I'd like to buy too. Especially when live price is at 676$.
211  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling my Laptop - Sony Vaio VPC-SB1V9E/B - EU only! on: April 23, 2013, 03:20:34 AM
ITEM IS LOCATED IN SOFIA (BUL), AND WILL BE SHIPPED WITH INSURANCE! EU Only!

My dropshipper address is in Sarasota, FL.
I use that address to buy stuff.

And it is an auction starting at 399. Not final sale.

213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin can be beated by litecoin? on: April 23, 2013, 03:12:37 AM
No it can't be beateN (learn how to write proper english).

BTC is very well known now, and it is probable that it will not fall under 50$ soon.
LTC will never get that far, because there need to be 10x the users and volatility.
214  Economy / Economics / Re: We need to break the loop FIAT->BTC->FIAT on: April 23, 2013, 03:09:22 AM
Everybody is speaking about how BTC is deflationary... Well, didn't you see how its value just got from $266 to $100 in hours? What was that, the USD deflating?

We mustn't fool ourselves. Bitcoin is not going to be truly deflationary nor a safe store of value if we don't break the loop. While the "value" of Bitcoin is established with its exchange rate for FIAT... We are just fucked, and it will just be a TOY for speculation, while being very vulnerable to attacks from its enemies.

Think about the most likely attack to BTC from its natural enemy, the FED: they own fiat money, and if they feel BTC is a danger for them, they can just pump it to the fucking sky to crash it to almost $0. Explain then about how it is a "store of value" to those who lose everything. How do we avoid that? Breaking the fucking loop FIAT->BTC->FIAT.

We need business that set their prices in BTC, and pay all their costs (including salaries) in BTC. We need to break the laces with fiat money. When we do that, then we will have a really deflationary currency that will truly serve as a store of value. Until BTC's value is related with the exchange rate with fiat... We are fucked, and it will be useless as soon as the FED decides it has to go.

Dude. Get Real. What you say is an Utopia. Like the Unicorns, Heaven and Communism.
The BTC fell from 266 to 55 for one reason - people made a lot of money from it, and decided to cash out. Of course they did not cash everything out at 266, as each sell order lowered the price. And it was natural and expected to see it fall.

F*CK YOU, I couldn't even borrow 10 bitcoins in this goddamned site easily, and you're telling me you loaned out that much to some wacko?

Well said!

Bottomline: drinking and driving is not a good idea. Unless you want to die or kill an innocent.
