321  Economy / Lending / Re: [EDU] How to spot a scammer (Read this before lending your coins!) on: January 14, 2013, 06:16:24 PM
It's cool that I'm in the list too   Grin

The deal I made is the following:

The other user orders the thing to HIS address.

Then, regardles if item ships on the 10-th of Feb I have to give him 1/3 of the cost, resp. March and April to the same date.

And we decided that even if he receives the item before that he won't ship until he receives first payment.

Tell me how exactly would I scam this person?

The risk is bigger for me actually.

But whatever.

Thanks for your reply anyway.

OK. Loan no longer needed Smiley

Reached an agreement with a fellow co-forum user with limited risk for both of us.

He's going to buy it for me, and I will pay him within 3 months.

Thanks to all.

By the way 24 option is a genuine binary options trader. They use a platform from opteck, which is a billion dollar company. And 1 minute options are actually available there.
So do your research before you blame people.

I do not think that number of posts and registration date has any significance.

A scammer is a scammer, no mather what.

Some people register and trade for years to build a rep, and then make a scam for many thousands of dollars.

So this is not very objective.

Of course there are always people that don't have a life and want to scam someone for some lousy amounts.
327  Economy / Lending / Re: 140 coins BTCjam Loan on: January 14, 2013, 06:03:33 AM
Well you all have your opinion. But we're just spamming the topic.
My goal in life is not to scam people for 2000$.

And when I buy the SC I will invest in others.

I am also willing to give my wallet to the people that invested in me, but I don't know if so many people could use it.

I do not necessarily need the coins. I'd also accept to preorder the thing for me.

However, even if I do not get the coins (which is highly probable) I will buy it with cash in 2 - 3 months.

I'm just curious if it works as they advertise.

Hello.

I need ~140BTC to purchase Butterfly Labs Single 'SC' ASIC miner for 1299$ + shipping and VAT.

I intend to repay for 2 months with 6% interest, paying on every 1-st of the month.

I will have the money in 2 - 3 months, but I would really not like to wait.

I can show proof for my income. It's not millions but enough to pay back my investors + interest.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

Yeah. That stuff about the android phone was kinda fishy.
I hope they're hones though.
333  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchange PerfectMoney to Libertyreserve Payza MoneyBookers on: January 12, 2013, 03:27:58 PM
Their website looks like phishing to me. There is neither SSL certificate, nor is there a physical address and telephone number. Their domain is registered in LA, however it's private, and no real location is pointed.
I think they are from Africa, and only exchange money in order to get more people to trust them, then steal millions.

I came to that conclusion mainly because in order to obtain SSL they have to pay 250$ or something of this sort, and they have to register it as an exchange service, which requires a company.

Since they do not have a company or physical address it is due to the fact that they wouldn't like you to know their address because it's red-flagged.

Has anyone actually used the thing?

I want to buy one to try how it works. However I accept any advice that you can give.

Thanks.
