301  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling my Laptop - Sony Vaio VPC-SB1V9E/B - EU only! on: April 09, 2013, 12:35:20 PM
Well lets say if it does. It's not impossible. And it's 1000$ if you pay for it in USD as per Ebay ad.
It's 25BTC because if it declines to 40$/BTC I'd stll get 1000 for it. It might fall even furher. It's not going to grow straight up forever.
302  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling my Laptop - Sony Vaio VPC-SB1V9E/B - EU only! on: April 09, 2013, 12:27:09 PM
Are you insane? Go to ebay and amazon and see if it costs 200$.
The price is 25 for a reason - BTC might decline in value.

Keep your opinions to yourself.
303  Economy / Goods / Re: SELLING: 30x1oz GOLD; !9 HOURS!; EU ONLY on: April 09, 2013, 06:37:49 AM
How much would an ounce cost in BTC?

If not here, please PM me.

The Only problem with this powerful little thing is the battery. I know that there are issues with the Bios of this model. Might be a software problem. However, the battery appears to be dead.

All parts of the Notebook work perfectly. It has 3G module, 2 graphic cards - one onBoard and one dedicated - good enough to play games on it.

PRICE IN BTC - 25.00 BTC. Escrow Accepted. I also have put this offer through BITMIT and EBAY.

Respectively:

306  Economy / Auctions / Bitmit down for several hours on: April 09, 2013, 05:28:26 AM
Am I the only one who cannot access bitmit? It went down 4 hours ago.

I have a couple of bets on auctions there.

What?
308  Economy / Lending / 15 Bitcoin BTCjam on: April 06, 2013, 08:02:58 AM
Hi,

I need 15BTC for FX investment - https://btcjam.com/listings/3191

A certain currency pair will rise 500+ pips this month, due to unit overselling, and poor economic data from other countries.

Thanks.
309  Economy / Lending / Re: 50 BTC, 3% Rate, I need your help, dear user, on: April 06, 2013, 07:32:29 AM
I'm not greedi if that's what you're trying to say.
And you see every day people borrow and lend here that a person may not pay, does not mean that all do

Where did you say you were from, Emma? Because you don't seem to grasp the English language very well.

Edit: I checked through all "her" posts. One would assume that Emma is a female name, right? Then why did "she" wrote this:

"...But My wife my daughter and me have to move to a bigger house..."

So gay marriages are allowed now? Or is it just an old lazy bastard scamming "easygoing" people for $.

I am astonished that someone actually gave HIM money.

310  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering loans to new members straight out of newbie queue! on: January 24, 2013, 09:05:30 AM
Ok, good.  I thought you were serious.

Now you're going to be disregarded by everyone.

Disregard.

Why no moneybookers?
Put a god-damn SSL! I don't want my info to get stolen.
312  Economy / Lending / Re: [LOAN OFFER] $50,000 USD, Low Interest Rate, Secured by Bitcoins on: January 22, 2013, 05:59:46 AM
Grin OK. So can you lend me 5000$, I will buy bitcoins and will give it to you as collateral, so that you could lend me 5000$ again.

But you know what? Let's cut the middle man and just give me 5000$ loan.
313  Economy / Economics / Re: You Know Whats f**king Sad? on: January 19, 2013, 11:54:00 AM
First of all, the need to create Bitcoins. But even more than that-bitcoins are tied to the USD. And do you know HOW MANY people are buying silver/gold instead of taking their "paper". Cause thats what it is-paper. Even change will be soon. Mr GreenJew (no offense) just stays posted all day making as much money as he wants. The reason things 99% of the time are raised in  price is because of inflation-GreenJew got excited and printed a bunch more.
Basically, the USD is backed by...not even the US (its not Federal)paper?
Now, we've stepped back in time to when the Silver Standard existed.
We are almost literally repeating historical economics that did not work out so well.
God help us.

In fact it's not the paper that's the problem. It's electronic currency.
You may not realize it, but most of the currency we use today is not existent. For instance.

Lets say that you have 50000$ in your bank account. It does not mean that you have a box, containing 50000 in the bank's branch. It means that you have 50000 electronic units into the bank server, that you could convert to money if you like.

It's not a problem if you actually have the money. But if it is borrowed from a bank, then it is a big problem.

That is why it is easier to use a credit card. The payments are faster, because the money DO NOT EXIST until the moment you pay them back to the bank. Transactions are purely electronic between servers of financial institutions, that's why payments are swift. Physical money and precious metals are transferred at annual rate.

Debit cards, on the other hand, contain money, which have already been printed, which is the reason of the higher security measures, and actual money have to be transferred between banks every week.

And if you ask me - bitcoin will never be as secure as paper money or gold (being most secure), because you can never be sure if we will have internet forever.
Gold, however is eternal and it will not disappear from the universe long after we are all dead.

Paper money are legal-tender, but until there is society they will have some value.

And honestly - most of us here, although not a lot will say it, would prefer paper cash rather than bitcoins.

It will not become a national currency, because it is international.

316  Economy / Goods / Re: Zimbabwe Banknotes: You're a Trillionair! But in Zimabwe. on: January 17, 2013, 09:46:46 AM
There was a website once.

Wikipedia says the following: 2 February 2009   300 000 000 000 000 ZWD - 1 USD.

That's 300 trillion to one in 2009.

And inflation was a couple of hundred thousand percent in 2011. So they are practically worthless.

This thread just seems to keep evolving and innovating...

At what post count should the title be changed to The Mega Cock Thread?

Somewhere in America, there's a roadside attraction featuring a headless cock.

It's a cowboy cock.
318  Economy / Goods / Re: Zimbabwe Banknotes: You're a Trillionair! But in Zimabwe. on: January 16, 2013, 09:55:57 AM
I imagine most people know the story behind this. If you don't, type "Zimbabwe Banknotes" in a YouTube search.
People are actually selling things like Silver and Gold to buy these things. There is even talk about the US investing in Zimbabwe. Legally you must "Pay The Bearer". I just hope the country that takes control of Zimbabwe someday will honor these-because that WILL happen lol.

I have
1x 1 Billion Banknote: .30BTC
10x 10 Trillion Banknotes: .32BTC/ea [9 AVAILABLE].29BTC.24 BTC/ea shipped!
1x 50 Trillion Banknote: .35BTC [SOLD]

Prices include shipping!

Please PM if interested. Thanks for reading!

Yes but the exchange rate is 10,000,000,000,000 for 0.0006USD. Even 100,000,000,000,000 is less than one cent.

And the fixing is quite different for any day.
319  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can Trading Options In The Stock Market Make You A Full Time Income? on: January 16, 2013, 09:21:19 AM
Yes. But my advice is to trade forex and not binary but actual options with long terms. They are easier to predict.

And you have to invest at least 5 grand on forex with leverage at least 1:100 and

****IMPORTANT****

You have to register an ECN (electronic communications network) account, because there is no intermediary between you and the market. Otherwise you'd get scammed.

****IMPORTANT****

Basically there are three types of accounts - Dealing Desk (scammers), STP (faster execution, but basically the same) and ECN which is a professional level account.

Best brokers are Dukascopy and Oanda. They are actual banks and you know they won't scam you.

But as I said - you have to invest at least 5 grand in order not to lose. It's basically the margin call not the single possition loss that puts you in risk.

Teodor
