1  Other / Archival / Re: I don't want to buy cheap bitcoins, I want to buy expensive ones on: November 03, 2022, 11:53:22 PM
Any cryptocurrency investor or enthusiast who doesn't have an interest in buying Bitcoin during this bear market is either new to the market or doesn't have the financial ability to buy BTC.
But if this topic was about the trend of Bitcoin, it does mean people are not buying in this bear market.

3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is buying three bitcoin worth it? on: June 19, 2021, 06:24:09 PM
I’ve been reading up on bitcoin and saw that Tim Draper estimates the price will hit 250k in 2022. I honestly could never afford a ton of bitcoin even now at 37k but I could afford three. It would be a lot of my savings, not all, but a majority. Is it worth it to spend almost 111 thousand dollars buying three bitcoin? Will it make me back a substantial amount more money? Please help!10.0.0.0.1 192.168.1.254

Tim Diaper market prediction is just an ordinary speculation which may not happen in the year 2022 cause if Bitcoin market repeat the previous market correction that happen after ATH market, there will be market correction in the year 2022. However, that doesn't mean you can't invest now and make substantial amount more money in the future if you are planning to hold the Bitcoin till the next halving effect market which will happen in the year 2024.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Elon Interested in Dogecoin? on: May 17, 2021, 10:11:27 PM
but I am confused why Elon interested in Dogecoin?
This is a personal question which only Elon Musk is the only person that can provide an honest answer it but it started when Dogecoin is having problem. Elon said he's working with dogecoin developers to improve the project efficiency of transactions and he later claim to be coin new CEO. I guess he invested some fortune when the developer improve the coin
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh, market manipulation is finally bad now? on: May 17, 2021, 09:49:54 PM
How come almost on-one didn't bat an eye when Elon was pumping BTC by tweeting about it? In fact people were encouraging him to tweet about BTC or doge, and now it's suddenly market manipulation and potentially illegal when he is tweeting shit about it and it's going down?
Elon is not the major player in the crypto market, it the naive investors that use his tweet as investment advice that make him feel like a super man but he still can't manipulate the market this big.
Nevertheless, there's alot of things that help the current dump in price of the market though Elon exit tweet and those things that cause dump happen almost the same time that's why we are experience big dump now.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: May 16, 2021, 11:19:42 PM
Gambling its always popular and Online Gambling its create new way for express their habits . especially these days most of many Online Gambling accept crypto as payment . people no worried again about credit card being stole or get scam broker they can gambling directly without third parties and using easier payment.
You said one of the reasons why online gambling become popular but that's some of the major reason why online gambling site gained more usage these days because it was the total lockdown which was precipitated by the pandemic that shows the benefit of online gambling to the people
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING POLL ADDED] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: May 16, 2021, 10:30:29 PM
Hearn says one thing and Arum says something different. Fury and Joshua just do not seem like they are even trying to keep the hype up but Hearn is after a big pay day with his commission.

There was something wrong about this when the fight was announced, I am not convinced it will go ahead in 2021. Maybe Joshua should fight Oleksandr Usyk and Fury should find a different opponent.

Naturally, this kind of fight doesn't need much hype before both sides will get big commission cause is the most anticipated fight of the year though the hype will be good to gain more traffic.

I saw Wilder train hard this days while Joshua posted an image caption " Spartan, I'm tired. My fans are tired. Your fans are tired. We're all tired of talk. Less talk. More action! @Tyson Fury." Is Fury having a change of heart? Why do you suggest Joshua and Fury to fight different opponents?
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 16, 2021, 09:54:34 PM
Liverpool surprised me today, an unexpected winning from them. I though the game was going to end draw, only for Alisson to goal 90+5 minutes.
Liverpool now have fewer chances of getting into the top 4. They have to win their remaining matches.
Their next match is against Burnley, which I don't think they will lose.

Tottenham was extra hot today, they did well. They are now 4 points from the Europe League group stage, and will be needing more points.
They surprised me either.
1) Inspite that they consumed an early goal they control the pressure and make use of the opportunity they had to equalize and later win the match.
2) They break the jinx of play draw against the West Brom in the Premier League since the year 2018.
9  Other / Meta / Re: what is the easiest way to see bitcointalk on a mobile? on: May 16, 2021, 09:23:30 PM
Phone display is small as others said but you strengthening your mobile experience while accessing the forum through mobile phone by setting your phone to "read mode" which will intelligently adjust screen brightness or changing the "front size" of your mobile phone display. However, I believe accessing the forum with Firefox and Chrome mobile app is not friendly like using Opera browser.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: May 16, 2021, 08:52:05 PM
It good to partake in the casino just like before the issue of pandemic arise and it clearly know that the Nevada government cherished the casino business but I still not support the idea of let individual who are fully vaccinated to play in the casino just like before the issue of the pandemic happen because we once heard the issue of people vaccinated getting the virus again.
This needs to be taking into consideration.
I won't say the Nevada government cherish casinos because they are actually after the money they will get through taxing casino and statement once made by their Mayor when there was total lockdown is proof to that and it hurt that the Nevada casino also allows this to happen when there's a situation where people who are vaccinated still getting the virus.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: May 16, 2021, 06:45:37 PM
Dont really believe on that beginners luck since odds of a veteran one and a newbie would really be just the same when we do talk about luck based type games.
~snip~
Nobody is fortunate that it continues forever. I agree with you. Luck is only part of the many factors that influence it. So don't use luck as the main factor in gambling because in the end you will lose. Call it also like trading activities, maybe people will be lucky, but fundamental technical analysis is absolutely necessary.
I've read that if you gamble you need expertise. Read a lot and of course practice is one way to train yourself. But your mental skills also really need to be mastered, remember not to be greedy. Because this is a very difficult thing for people to have.
Putting ones greed habit to check is a very difficult thing to handle for every gambler.
Though it not a good to idea to use luck as the main factor in gambling in other to think outside the box but there are still some games in gambling that have nothing to do with your level of training or expertise cause that needed is to understand the game rules and regulations.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Elon musk launches his own coin? on: May 15, 2021, 11:50:21 PM
well, I think the crypto made by Elon Musk will be even more successful.
Just as the adage "majority carries the vote" Elon Musk alone or his influence potential cannot make his crypto successfully and if you are a genuine crypto enthusiast you should know that Elon believe more in hype than potential. However, every project that's is not supported by crypto community wont be successful though it can be use as pump and dump scheme by the project owner just like Elon did with Dogecoin.

I am pretty sure that the product for the token will be of very high quality.
No, Elon does not have block chain skills, he's just an engineer and he also said it himself. How can you be so sure his project will be high quality though he can also take the footsteps of CZ by imitating ETH network.

Moreover, if Elon Musk gave an event for the token he made, so many people would be interested in It.
Not every.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Traditional currencies vs Crypto currencies on: May 15, 2021, 11:28:04 PM
Crypto currency removing all the problem of modern banking or fiat payment and having the potential to be future currency it no longer a news and the IMF also advise the Central Banks and the government about it that's why we see alot of institutional investors accumulating cryptocurrency.
Still crypto account can still be hack if human errors are not avoided.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: May 15, 2021, 11:06:19 PM
First of all, Ethereum 2.0 is launched but have about 4 phase and if I could remember correctly they currently in the second phase.
Thanks, when will be the third phase?

According to the roadmap, the next EIP 1559 will be activated in two months, in July 2021. As far as I understand from the post on their official Twitter, the third phase of ETH 2.0 will be implemented straight after the "London" hardfork.
Oh. I guess I miss that because of the Ethereum team skipping some days set for the execution of some part of the ETH2.0 upgrade and not keeping their promises.
Speaking about the EIP 1559, I thought I read that the Ethereum miners are against the suggestion?
Do you have the link to the updated roadmap?
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance under investigation on: May 15, 2021, 10:36:51 PM
Yes, it will drive the price of the market down cause alot of traders will choose to move their trading holding out of exchange while some will decide to sell for stable coin before they move theirs and alot of trading platform will be extra careful this day. Besides, i saw an article that says Tether publicly provided their reserved holding for the first time though I don't read the article but i believe the IRS investigation about Binance is what causes it.

This will be a big deal for centralized exchange that are guilty but won't for those that are not.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: May 14, 2021, 11:42:47 PM
Holding cryptocurrency is easy and it not about been rich, it about human understanding and discipline between financial needs and saving. However, having the thought that you kept some coins somewhere is the reason why you later sell it but if you stake such coin for years if you can hold it by yourself that will solve the problem.
Well, I don't think a moderately earning person can afford to hold some 10 Bitcoins which he purchased at let's say $1k and if the price reaches 10k, I don't think he can hold for too long, and watching it reach $50k after selling is going to make his decision look bad but in reality, it isn't.
Accepted and this is the reason why the staking of Bitcoin comes in which is what some people use before now and they are enjoining themselves now.

For that reason which is true for most people here, I guess I need to agree with OP completely. In some sense holding is only suitable for very rich people and this may be the one of the reason why people always says rich are getting easy chance to become more richer Roll Eyes.
I agree the rich have easy chance to become richer but same has regular people who always think outside the box and welcome new innovation technology.
17  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bilaxy.com SCAM on: May 14, 2021, 09:54:44 PM
Thanks guys. Yeah, I've tried to write them directly () multiple times. Basically, what happens is they just ask for your e-mail and nothing happens afterwards. When you start to attract their attention in the chat they just ban you.

By the way, this is my second issue with them. Previously I had a similar issue with ETH withdrawal, but after some discussions they released it.
I have used the exchange about twice when I want to sell some shitcoin I have in my wallet and I don't experience what you said but from the chat log you provided seems like there's something you're not telling us. Why were you ask to accept their investigation process and wait?

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is no one talking about shorting alts? on: May 11, 2021, 11:44:04 PM
It's hard to predict which altcoin will go up among all the thousand will have the market but it not hard to know the coin with a promising future if have experience in study possible altcoin user case in years to come.
About Dogecoin, only inexperience, hype follow and profit-seeking will invest in it because its concept was based on joke (meme), and last time I check investment should be something to joke about.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: May 11, 2021, 09:12:24 PM
First of all, Ethereum 2.0 is launched but have about 4 phase and if I could remember correctly they currently in the second phase.
Thanks, when will be the third phase?
You're welcome. Ethereum ought to have executed the third phase before now but they delay the integration and not following the right procedure as writing on their ETH2.0 roadmap.
All the ETH team policy lately make me believe they are doing it on purpose so that BSC can gain ground in the smart contract setting and if you look into the BSC concept very well they only change the TPS of the ETH network to create the project.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: May 11, 2021, 08:00:45 PM
Too much ‘genius’ opinions on this topic. Maybe it’s time for some real proofs. Does anyone want to make a journey of 1 month with limiting their time allocating for gambling and the next month without? That would be fun.
If you have control, you can try it and make your own journey of 1 month, but if you do not have good control, I suggest you do not try that because you can lose your money anytime.

I prefer to hold my bitcoin and altcoins this time because I see a chance for me to sell at the next high price of bitcoin and altcoins, so that means I can profit from trading. I can play gambling on other days and not today as I want to make money before I am late.

If you have that good balance and you really know how to limit yourself, that journey might be fun, whatever the result may be you acan easily take it and move forward.

But if you don't have that personalities, it's really tough and dangerous as you can get addicted and completely lose all your money.

The fun won't be there if you lose all your savings, best to anticipate things befor you push forward.

Correct and now with all the choices you have and digital cash it is even easier to lose control. Deposits are just simple and gambling with crypto is even more addictive as you don't physically hold anything in your hands that you would have to give away. It means it is less painful for that moment to lose that money and much easier to deposit again.
The ease of using cryptocurrency shouldn't be an excuse to use as something that leads to a gambling addiction but I don't if you understand that gambling is not for everybody and this is the fact a lot of people in the gambling community don't want to face because every gambler that can control his buzz is already addicted before the game start.

True but you might be more cautious when you have to spend cash instead of cryptocurrencies. I can imagine that some people have a different relation to their crypto than they would have to their cash or even credit card. Addictions always suck no matter what type of addiction it is. Availability and accessibility is an issue often times.
Just as you said, gambling addiction will always suck but being cautious in gambling in other to prevent addiction doesn't have to do with the use of fiat currency in gambling, and the gambling addiction prevention answer is still the same, having control over one's buzz through the habit of putting one's buzz in check during each and every gambling game.
