Does anyone else have a dream country to just visit someday or maybe live in?

Personally, one of my dreams is to visit Europe. I would love to visit multiple countries all in one trip. I am thinking maybe I will spend a week or so and I would take the train just to see different countries.

Aside from visiting Europe, I would really want to live in there. I do not have a specific european country in mind yet but I just know living in Europe would be a dream come true.

I think most of us have a dream country that they want to visit someday, and I also have many countries that I want to visit, especially the dream country that I dream of visiting, that's why I work hard so that one day what I dream of will come true. It's not bad to dream, you just need to be accompanied by perseverance and hard work and patience so that in the future you will have money to fulfill your dreams.
2  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you feel excited while gambling on: February 24, 2024, 10:40:50 PM
From my little activeness over here in the forum and my involvement in gambling I have been seeing some changes in me and it's gradually beginning not to please me anymore I don't know If I will say I am becoming too emotional with my funds but sometimes it's very painful to place a bet for about 2 to 5 consecutive times no winning and this is what is beginning to me make feels sad. I know is a game of luck but sometimes whatever we do and not feels happy we should try to quit it.

I just have to bring this to know the category of people who belong to this sets that always feels bad or are emotionally touched due to their games has been constantly bursting without winning. I don't know how to channel it but at least gambler should be happy most times i will noticed that only 1 games do take me away from winning and most times there will be option to cash out I will have the full confident that all will be successfully played without knowing games change even at dying minutes.

Of course, it's normal to get excited about gambling, especially if you predict correctly in gambling and you win. It's also normal to lose in gambling one after another, that's really part of the game, so you must control your emotions so that you don't get too affected when you feel like you're having a bad day. You need to have a budget so you know when to stop and when to continue. It's okay to try to quit gambling if you know you're overdoing it, it's better to quit while you're not addicted to gambling and you know yourself that you can stop it.
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: February 22, 2024, 11:24:00 PM
Luck is not something that comes all the time and that's what makes it special when it comes to you while you are gambling, some people cheat when they gamble and they said is luck which are all lies but inside them they already know that it want luck but cheating.
However I was lucky to win a bet with my last stake some days ago and I am happy for that, that's why I have to bring it here let's discuss about it, whether you have also win some amount of money with your last stake. I went to a betting shop around my locality then I bet with $10 and lose all of them so I was holding  up to $1 separately for transporting my self back to my residence, but funny how I staked with my transport money and won.
Although, I had more money on  my account that I can use for transporting my self back to my house if incase I lost the physical cash, that was why I wasn't afraid to stake with it.

Yes sometimes, win or lose the last money I hold, that's when I stop playing gambling, when I win the last money I do because I often just eat it or I just keep it aside for my next gambling. My winnings in gambling are not big and the money I waste in gambling is not big either, I have a budget and it is good to have a budget because you know when to stop or not so that your money does not decrease. One time, the last money I bet in gambling also won and half of my budget came back from that win, but I still stopped. I also just play gambling for fun.
4  Other / Off-topic / Re: Don’t play gambling with drugs or in half sleep on: February 22, 2024, 10:55:09 PM
I had a friend who use to play the gambling only when he consumed drugs,Sometimes he use yo win the money. But most of the time he loss the funds, when we have a chat on the weekend we shared our experiences. The reason of the loss in the drug consumption is the gambler will play the game without any hesitation to take risk. The gambling is the risky game, the gamblers who take huge risk some times make the huge multiple of betting dollars. But the risk doesn’t make him win, because the meaning of the risk is the possibility of losing and winning.Every month we meet each other, the odds between us is gambling.

My friend also added when he had huge winning in the night games without drugs,he had an habit of playing the gambling at the earning morning after wake up.It doesn’t mean an addiction,it was his dedication towards the game. But the sad part is he will loss sometimes if he wake up in the few hours sleep. When he had shared this I had advice him not to do the gambling in both in drugs or early morning games.Because we should not play the game at the early morning, because we are beginning the day.If the game give the loss in the early morning, the entire day will goes in a negative vibe. The new gamblers should take it as the lesson to avoid loss in gambling.

Your friend is doing too dangerous, isn't it when you're on drugs you're not in the right frame of mind, maybe later he'll bet all his money and he'll regret it. Drugs are just as bad as gambling without a proper mindset. Your friend is addicted to drugs and gambling.
If you can still talk to your friend, it's okay to talk to him properly and make him realize that what he's doing is very wrong, he can gamble without taking drugs. I don't have experience with drugs but I know you are not in the right mindset when you use something like that, right? How can you play gambling properly if you can't think properly, he might bet all his money on gambling.
5  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: February 21, 2024, 10:56:20 PM
My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.

Your friend might be onto something if he's tried this method successfully without becoming addicted. However, gambling daily isn't advisable for a responsible gambler, as it can develop into a bad habit and lead to addiction. There's no guarantee of increased winning chances by playing every day, but you might gain more insights into how the games work. Yet, the risk is becoming addicted and relying too much on gambling for income. To avoid the pitfalls of addiction and financial losses, responsible gamblers should steer clear of such frequent gambling. It will make more sense to focus on the potential negative outcomes rather than emphasizing the positives side of this method.

Yes you are right that mate and also gambling everyday is like that you are getting to addiction cause it's not normal that you play in gambling and your life getting worst cause it will affect your work and attitude. And not all the time you will win but sometimes you will loss also so there's a possibility that your anger will take over you and it will lead to misunderstanding ok your family. But if other gambler says that they are not addicted even though they are playing everyday then all I can say is that wow that's a good thing you can handle your self in that situation.

You are right, there is a big chance that you will be addicted to gambling if you play every day and it will have many negative effects as you said his anger might turn him on his family and have a misunderstanding, many things like this have happened. So even if we say that you are in control of yourself even if you play every day, there is still a chance that you will be addicted to gambling so don't be careless because we are talking about gambling, we know that gambling is dangerous and it has ruined many lives. so don't even dream of joining them.

I don't gamble every day, maybe I gamble once or twice a week and that's it. I used to try to increase my time in gambling, I did 4 or 5 days of gambling in a row and it was consuming a lot of money and that was not good, because of that when I gambled once or twice a week I won, I often won and I was about to stop but in 5 days of gambling my money ran out so I didn't do it again.
6  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Tomorrow you wake up, You got 50000$ in your hand. What will you do? on: February 19, 2024, 11:23:51 PM
Let's imagine tomorrow when you wake up and check your exchanges and wallets. Somehow from an airdrop, giveaway, lottery. What will you do? Would you invest? put it in a bank? Buy real estate, business or what else will you do?

I will put 10000$ in the bank first. Get at least 1 Bitcoin and the rest will spend on a trip to Thailand. What will you do if you get this kind of money suddenly?

If I wake up with $50,000, I will definitely keep half of it in the bank, after that I will turn the rest into bitcoin and business so that half will grow and continue. The one I put in the bank might be used to buy a car and of course travel to the country I want to visit. It's nice to dream, but all that won't happen, you have to move, work hard to earn money to fulfill all the things you want to happen. If you don't act nothing will happen to you.
7  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money vs Education on: February 19, 2024, 10:51:06 PM
Well people would and will go for money but just a question why do more than 90% of people think money is the greatest of all things?? in the world

Most people do say money is the reason why

human must have education is this true??

Cause from my own point of view education is the

key to success, but a second thoughts how many

millionaire's in your area’s  didn’t go to college and

they have made it without education, so does this

means education is a scam?

OP I leave this to you guys for more understanding

Education is really important, especially in our country, if you don't finish here, people will look at you differently, they will look at you as inferior because you have no education. There are also people who didn't finish school but become rich in life because of strategy and perseverance, but I'm sure that before that person got rich, he was insulted several times by people he knew, so he worked really hard to get rich. The money you get when you work even if you don't finish school, the education when you finish you have a degree, people still think you're good and the chance to get rich is bigger because most people are looking for college graduates.
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: February 17, 2024, 11:54:47 PM
Gambling regularly will make a person addicted into it. If you keep doing a work daily then after sometime his conscious mind accept this fact and  build a mentality base on these facts which will directly/indirectly command your mind to continue that things daily even in upcoming days. Thus it turns into a strong habit and you have to suffer whenever you want to get out of it. And when you found that you don't have enough money for gambling but as you already decided & build such mentality to gambling regularly, then And will be in troubles. Even there will be chance to involve yourself in unusual activities because of managing money for gambling. So it will be better not to gambling Daily

I agree, gambling is already dangerous but it is more dangerous for those who gamble every day. As you said, if you find out that you don't have enough money, if you continue your gambling habit, there is a big chance that you will find another way to gamble more, you can borrow money from a friend or take a loan, steal, sell the properties etc. And the ending is that you will be in debt and you will not be able to pay back what you borrowed because of your addiction to gambling. I know someone like this and his got to the point where he sold two cars just to have more gambling wtf.

There is a big chance that you will become addicted to gambling if you gamble every day, even if we say that you are in control, but if you gamble every day, it is still dangerous for you. So it's better to reduce the time spent on gambling because it's really bad for gamblers. I also gamble once in a while and it's okay, I win at least a little bit.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stick to some Casinos or do you try out new ones? on: February 17, 2024, 11:20:52 PM
I was discussing with a friend yesterday about the choice of Casinos and the great incentives that comes with trying out these new legitimate platforms. He told me bluntly that he doesn't try out new platforms because  it will make him gamble more and will waste his time trying to understand their UI, terms and conditions and their support system. He stressed that he has already developed fondness with a few sites that treats him fine and he even has their support hot lines in case of any issues.
I challenged him that there were exciting offers in these new casinos that he's missing out on but he stressed that he was not interested in their offers, he has already built his gambling life around these few casinos and until they disappoint him, he's sold out to them.

what do you think?. Do you believe he is right with the rigid approach to gambling?,  also should I continue convincing him  to try out something new and enjoy these great offers?.

I think you should stop what you are doing to convince your friend, I can see that you are forcing him and that is not good. I just know that you want to be a good friend, but forcing your friend who doesn't want to is harmful. He is used to and comfortable in the casino he plays in, if you think your friend is enjoying it, let him. We have our own views on life and yours is what you want to explore, what you are doing is not bad if you enjoy it. Maybe your friend is not like that and you need to respect and support him in what he does if he enjoys it.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When I'm emotional, I LOSS! on: February 16, 2024, 11:17:21 PM
Hey, guys! Are any of you emotional gamblers who often lose because you can't control what you feel? When you lose, do you tend to double your bets or chase your losses, driven by a pride that can't accept defeat? Do you consider this a problem? If so, has anyone here been able to solve this kind of problem themselves, and if yes, how did you do it?

I have this problem, and based on my personal experience, I find that sometimes I get challenged but not too greedy because I don't have a problem quitting when I'm winning. However, when I'm losing, that's where my struggle lies.

That's why I shared it here; I feel that some of you may experience the same challenges, and I'd love to hear your ideas or experiences on how to win this battle so we can enjoy gambling.

Most of the people who lose emotionally in gambling are because they can't control their feelings so they can't think properly about what they are doing because they are too carried away by their emotions.
Controlling your emotions is important when you gamble, you can set a budget to control yourself so that when you lose you won't feel upset or anything else because that loss is budgeted so you don't have to chase your losses. If you often lose gambling, you should stop, you know when to stop gambling. You must also have self-discipline because it is also one of the most important things when you gamble.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you quit gambling for a friend? on: February 16, 2024, 10:45:10 PM
A true friend is only there by our side when he knows he needs to remind you if he sees that things are not going well with us. And that thing is to give and make us feel truly blessed.

A friend cannot dictate to a friend who is also close to him, but only to feel true concern for a friend who is considered a friend. So we still have the final decision to make if we follow the advice of a friend of ours.

It's true, apart from your family, no one will sympathize with you but your friends. Your friend will wake you up to the truth, he is the only one who will tell you what you really feel and what is happening to you, your friend is also the only one who will tell you that what you are doing is bad. So if you have a friend like this, he's just concerned about you, don't hurt him because it's like he's treating you like a brother. It's good to have a friend like this. Don't leave or avoid this kind of friend because they are the only ones who really care about you.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between afford to lose and can't afford to lose. on: February 14, 2024, 11:55:15 PM
When you are depending on someone for assistance because you want to gamble it means that you are risking what you can not afford to lose. Why because you don't have the money to gamble but someone have to give it to you before you can stake.
But when you have jobs that pays you money so well and you are gambling it means you are risking what you can afford to lose. Why because ones you lose your job will give you another money.

However, many people would say even if you have jobs but you are staking higher it also means you are gambling with what you can not afford to lose. Moreover it's true and I have to dauth but I have a feeling that ones someone that have a good paying job is staking more than what he can afford to lose, there is no different between addiction there.

If you don't have money to support your gambling habit, don't gamble. Maybe where else will you end up if you are forced to gamble even if you have no money. If your gambling bets are too much and you're having financial problems, it's called an addiction because you still insist on gambling even though you know your budget can't afford it.
Just gamble according to what you can afford to lose, set a budget so that the bets you make are not too much.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for fun vs gambling for the financial benefit. on: February 14, 2024, 11:20:40 PM
Gambling is supposed to be a game of fun but unfortunately a lot of persons take it to be a source of finance which is logically wrong. Yes gambling arguably can be tempting to be a source of income especially when you tend to make multiple wins consecutively which could make one feel the need to take more days off work since you have become richer at an easier pace. The core reason people should not take gambling as a financial source is because people tend to be very serious when it comes to their finance which of course us their main income source.
Now if gambling becomes a source of income you will tend to gamble more so logically you could win more and most of the time this could end badly and even lead to a nasty addiction in some cases.

I agree with what you said, it's better that you play gambling for fun than you play gambling to make money. It is difficult to make gambling a source of income because we know that there is no certainty in gambling whether you will win or lose. The first thing that will happen to you is that your money will run out, you will become addicted to gambling etc. You will not get rich immediately from gambling always remember that so don't be serious about gambling, just play according to your budget and have fun. It's really tempting when you often win gambling, but you have to control yourself because it's not always like that, it's rare to win big in gambling.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you quit gambling for a friend? on: February 13, 2024, 11:18:43 PM
So I heard a story of some acquaintances that in their friend group, some person really got addicted recently.
At first it was just fun and game, they would sit together and play some slots together in a big screen with some 10€ or so for as much as this would last them with small stake spins. And this is something they would do on big occasions. Only when together as a group and only for big days like birthday parties etc.

But the thing is, unbeknownst to them, one person in their friend group was really compulsive. So in the course of a few months, he became really addicted. He would spend much of his own money from his salary on slots and sports betting, eventually losing most of it regularly every month. Then on nearly every get together he would ask his friends to chip in so they can play slots this time in his account. Every time asking for more significant amounts too.

This guy hasn't caused any trouble to his friends but it's a worrying situation to see him waste most of his salary every month... So now the other guys were contemplating to quit their poker playing hobby because it was really affecting their friend negatively. And they had a somewhat regular get-together to play poker with very small stakes just for the fun of it. It's a petty that they might have to abandon their poker games but to them it's either that or abandoning their friend and worsening his compulsion.

Would you do the same for a friend? Me personally I think I would have just confronted such a friend and told them to seek help instead of me altering my lifestyle for his benefit. If they didn't seek help to the point that it was affecting me I would've just stopped hanging out with them silently I think. A friend would've had to be a real good one to make an exception at least.

He's a good friend if he thinks like that. Most of us will not stop gambling just because our friend is an addict, we can help and empathize but those who stop gambling are rare.

In my situation, I can stop gambling first and bond with him, think of another hobby so he can forget gambling first. I'm not addicted to gambling so I can handle it and stop it, I'm not going to quit, it's like I'm going to spend time with my friend first because he needs my help. This is how I am with my friends, when they need sympathy I go to them or they go to the house. My friends are like my brothers because we've been together for so long.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: February 13, 2024, 10:44:24 PM
There was a friend of mine who visited me a day after and he was saying gambling every day draws you more closer to winning.

I asked him how?

Gambling every day does open the way to victory, but there is no such thing as luck that we can get in a row.
Moreover, actively gambling every day will require a budget and if someone does not have a stable income it can actually be dangerous for meeting other needs. Winning in terms of opportunities is of course true, but it does not guarantee a balance between the money we spend and the money we will get from gambling.

I agree with what you said, in short you will lose. If you gamble every day and believe in it, there is a chance, but it is not a guarantee if you will win or if what you win is more than what you spent. We are not sure about that. The only thing we are sure of will happen is that there is a big chance that your money will run out if you gamble every day, you can also become addicted to gambling. Gambling is very dangerous so let's get used to being careful, let's say you have a budget for gambling every day but it will still happen, you'll just run out of money then there's still a chance you'll get addicted to it.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where Do You Want To Go To If You Win $2 million On Lottery on: February 12, 2024, 11:51:40 PM
This discussion came out when a friend told me that he planned to move out of the country if he happened to win the biggest post in the lottery at that time the lottery pot was almost $2 million in our currency, he then asked me where is the best place in the world to moved in case he wins a lottery,

So I check the internet for the best place and I stumble this article

The Best Places to Move When You Win the Lottery

So if you happen to win an equivalent of $2 million in your currency, will you move out of the country, from the article I posted and the poll I created from where country you would like to move to in case you win $2 million, you also have the option to stay in your country and why?

I prefer to stay in my country, because the living cost is very cheap here in my country, $2 million is very much enough for all my family up to three generations and I can even help my country by setting up businesses.

Of course, I will still stay in my country because $2 million is a lot of money in my country, even if all the items, food, house, etc. are increasing, I can still do a lot with that money, I will still stay because my family is also here.

Maybe I can take a vacation because there are countries I want to go to or dream of going to like Switzerland, but moving out to another country never seems to happen even if I have that much money.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: February 12, 2024, 11:30:17 PM
Does gambling needs experience or anyone +18, even the inexperienced one can also play? Though playing gamble has a limited age grade or age bracket and the accepted is from  +18 years and there are some casinos hall at the door post, it is written clearly that it is only people of +18 can play. But what about the inexperienced ones, are they allowed to play gamble as well? Or they are also restricted to have the fun? In my observation, there are two elements to participate in gambling. One, you must above 18 years in my country and secondly you must have an experience to play, so I want to know if inexperienced people can also play gamble.

Anyone can gamble as long as they are of the right age with experience or without you can still play gambling. It's not in their rules that if you don't have experience you can't play, that's where all gamblers start, with no experience. When you enter the casino, the guards will not ask you if you have any experience before they let you in. Anyone can gamble as long as you are in the right frame of mind, age etc. Gambling is dangerous so be careful about wasting money.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you seen gambling advertisements on TV? Opinion. on: February 11, 2024, 11:40:39 PM
While watching TV with my kid, I've watched various advertisements of gambling nature (let's say for example, Rummy123, RummyCircle, A23 Rummy, etc.)
These are all specifically Indian ads, but I'm sure you may have seen various gambling advertisements, some banners at boundaries when cricket is ongoing, even in any other sport. How would a kid ignore those things, they might just come and ask you about what is it. Till when can we lie to them? Don't you think that the frequency of such ads must be less in order to let the kids not get trapped into gambling and don't do it at such a small age?

Here in our country, gambling ads are not allowed on TV, you can only see gambling ads on social media, YouTube, but mostly on social media because of vloggers. It's about your kid, tell him the truth, tell him that gambling is bad for a child, educate him. Your child will understand you, just let him know properly that he is not ready for such things, it is too dangerous for the child. +points for me when the child's parents don't gamble or the child doesn't see his parents gambling, others because they see their parents gambling so the children get curious and try too.
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: February 11, 2024, 11:06:01 PM
Gambling an activity for fun also has the chance to turn someone's fortune. Calculated risk when taken in gambling can be the way to big wins from gambling. Who do you think should take more risk in gambling? The rich gambler or the gambler who is not yet rich. If a rich gambler takes risks in gambling, they are risking losing money and becoming poor from gambling, or getting richer, when a gambler who is not yet rich gambles, they can also get poorer or richer, so the gambler who should take the risk should be the gambler who can handle the dangers of the risk like losing too. When a rich gambler loses from taking a risk, there is a better chance of them being in a position to manage with the losses, than someone struggling financially who a big loss will really affect. So, I am confused after asking myself this question and answering it, does this mean a poor gambler should continue to play it safe in gambling? With no risk, how can a poor gambler change their fortune in gambling?

bro don't expect too much in gambling, you won't get rich from gambling. Rich or poor, the only difference between the two is that the rich will gamble longer because they have a bigger budget than the poor. They just take the same risk because what we are talking about is gambling, there can't be no risk, it's just that there is a big difference between the two, so it's harder for poor people to take risks or even have second thoughts because their gambling budget is limited. For me, the rich and the poor both take risks, depending on what they can afford to lose.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your state on mind if your son stole your money to gamble? on: February 10, 2024, 11:29:36 PM
My friends aunty called him on the call while we were conversing today, and  she was complaining about how her son has withdrawn #20,000 approximately $15 from her account through mobile transfer to play bet and he lost it all.
She complained bitterly and pitifully because she struggled to safe such amount of money.

Now, the mum is calling on everyone she could to intervene, discipline the child and force him to provide the money in any means he can without the concern of how he could refund the money.

Question: would she be so disheartened and mad as this if the son had won the bet on a multi million price?
Dear fellows, let's assume you are the mom, what would be your state of mind on this context?

If I were in her situation, I would be angry too. Even if her son took a lot of money or a small amount, it's still not good. Her son needs to be disciplined even if we say that the child's money that he took won millions, that is still wrong, it is still called theft especially if he is of the right age because you said that he took money to gamble so I assume that her son is of legal age. When her son gets used to that, he may not be the only one to do that, the son may also do it to other people because of his addiction to gambling. So while it's still early, discipline, scold or whatever so that it doesn't happen again.
