I think you should hold this coin a little longer as the fall is affecting all coin in crypto and this is only temporary. The market will recover soon and coin will begin to rise again. Wave is one of the good and stable coin to hold because it has a promising potential.

Although EOS is a very prominent coin with great features and potentials to help it grow in cryptocurrency and it is gaining more participants thereby expanding in size but I do not see EOS crashing ethereum which is the second best coin in crypto and with many projects using it blockchain for their transaction. For eos to crash ethereum, I think this will take a lot of time effort and work put together for it to achieve this goal.  

I do not think ethereum will fade away anytime soon as it is one of the most potential and stale coin in cryptocurrency. Ethereum has so many unique features that will even keep improving irrespective of any situation it might face because it has one of the best and strongest team which are working tirelessly to make it get to greater height. The present condition of market price affect all coin and this is only temporary as everything will soon recover. If you say ethereum is dead, then you are implying that all projects using it blockchain are also dead which is not pssible.

I do not think holding altcoin is dangerous, though it can be when the coin is not a good one but generally, as long as the coin is a good and potential one with good qualities and can remain stable even when the market is not doing fine. With the current situation of market in cryptocurrency, I do not think ethereum will hit $2k in two months as it will take a gradual process for it to grow as soon as the market recovers. I think it is not really about it being one of the top 100 crypto currency but how far and how successful it can be in the future. I other to make more profit when trading my coin, I buy when there is a big fall in the price of a particular coin of interest and then hold it on long term. I hold ill the price is very high before I decide to sell.

With the recent development in the graph of BCH which look encouraging, I think it is good to buy now and hold as the coin looks stable and promising. Buying now would have yielded big profit by the time you later decide to sell it because you will sell at a much higher price.

I think the condition is only temporary as the market will re-stabilize itself and coin will begin to go higher thereby reducing the price of gas as the rate of congestion on the blockchain will be reduced because by then people will be more interested in buying and holding than selling because of the fall in price.
