1361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling Licenses - What they actually mean on: June 29, 2021, 02:40:49 AM
Is there any casino that's very popular in crypto yet no license?
There is only one casino I know that is famous without a license, none other than freebitco.in.  We know that it only started as a bitcoin faucet until it was augmented with game features such as provably fair and various types of sports betting and price predictions.  So having a license is not a basis to say that a site is legitimate and trustworthy.

Yes, we are talking about the license of gambling sites but how can we know or validate if the license logo on their casino website is valid?

What are the steps these license providers take to get a casino to pass before they issue it?  Like recognizing the true identity of the owner?  Or maybe just having money to pay is fine.
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Dogecoin overpriced? on: June 27, 2021, 06:15:44 AM
Can you really imagine a usable field of Dogecoin? or is it just elon musk hype?
In the end, I wouldn't be surprised if it was an irony by Musk.
It might be fun to play, but really as an investment? long term? ~snip
DOGE is as useful as most coins used as a medium of exchange and payment.  It is also used as gambling bets on crypto gambling sites for the reason of fast transaction and cheap fees.  But it is still undeniable that its price has plummeted because of the hype provided by EM.  Many also say that it is not a long-term investment because of its unlimited supply.  Those who have just bought at a higher price compared to the current price do not seem to be able to accept their defeat immediately, what if they stay in this situation for a long time.

@Text while everyone believes that England is the favourite team, however on the ground both teams look equal to me and hence the big question is which player will seal the victory for his team. As far as Belgium is concerned it’s indeed a tricky game, because Ronaldo yet has the firepower to destroy them if he’s in the mood to do so hence I’m in two minds about wagering on these two fixtures, but have you selected your teams or you’ll do it during live play?.
Yes, I have already selected teams and I very rarely bet on live play.  But if I can catch up and witness the game at the right time I will still be able to bet.  You're right, the battle between Belgium and Portugal will be tough, I think this is the most anticipated of all this Round of 16. And we know Ronaldo's ability to do everything to win or here that will end being undefeated of the opponent.
1366  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io- Club House- The best EURO 2021 promotions around!!🚀 on: June 26, 2021, 04:05:15 AM
I think only 2 matches is a bit difficult to predict, I mean each team has the same ability: Belgium v Portugal and England v Germany
For other matches it seems that almost everyone agrees or at least they have 60% chance to pass.
I think apart from those two, there's third, the last match between Sweden and Ukraine, but of course, my bet is still on Sweden.  The remaining five are not very difficult to predict especially if you side with the odds and there is still something to throw as they showed in the last match.

Already have the domain name but it's not yet up, I am staking on a farm and it's been a long time I staked on a wallet last time was 5 years ago and it was on Chesscoin, staked coin is great if the developer is transparent and dedicated, with Lighlord promoting this I'm sure there's a lot of stored on this project, I hope they also create a group in telegram they already have a channel there, but it's not yet bringing a lot of information about the project.
Let’s see what happens to this coin.  Will it be like the crowd that will suddenly appear and gradually disappears or will teams and developers focus on rising it up and getting more attention from others?  Yes, we know high rank and trusted members started it, but we also know that the name of the coin is controversial.  Coming from a celebrity who gets the attention of the crypto community.
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling Licenses - What they actually mean on: June 26, 2021, 12:27:15 AM
I admit that I don't know anything about gambling licenses, so thanks for making this thread even though there are already old threads that talk about this matter.  I also notice that very few also first check if a casino is licensed to operate before they play and deposit.  But I think it's just very important as a requirement and it needs to be there in physical casinos and pure online fiat gambling sites.  You would probably be more reassured if you knew the identity of the owner of crypto gambling sites like Stake.  I have also read a lot that even if they have a license, they can commit scams and those who issue licenses are not able to help customers.  So the others just look more at the reputation and reviews of the majority whether licensed or not.  So the risk is not lost and you should always be prepared.

I am already excited about future developments and the plans of $SMC.  Seeing it added to the list of exchangers assures that this project has a good destination.

The support provided by the community is also impressive as $SMC received the highest number of votes in the LaunchZone poll on listing and supporting single-staking pools for deflationary tokens.

Hopefully, we will support again and vote in the ongoing event of Lbank and help to contribute to rise in any way we can.
I hope this community work will continue.
1371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vegas Casinos to allow Cannabis Lounges. on: June 25, 2021, 12:07:25 AM
For me, there is no problem with using cannabis because it is already legal and licensed to them.  It is up to the person or the gambler if he will allow himself to use it before or after gambling.  Maybe it's not required to use before gambling if he's there, right?  There is no gambling or alcohol inside the cannabis lounges, so it is separate.  Maybe we shouldn't say that the casino and the government make sure that gamblers lose because of marijuana use.  It still depends on them how they handle gambling themselves.  But that being said, any excessive use of such drugs is harmful.  So they should also know the risk of any and avoid getting addicted.
1372  Economy / Gambling / Re: (SOLVED) (Rollbit.com) LTC refunded that has been sent to BTC address. on: June 24, 2021, 11:05:55 PM
This guy really lucky, even for those 16 users who have some problem too. I mean didn't you checked twice or three times before sent your money? It's a very good way Rollbit treat their user, even though it's not their problem as they have warned it before we withdraw/deposit our money from rollbit.
He didn't say anything about that, so he made a mistake due to neglecting to carefully check the transaction, verify before pressing the confirm button if his funds are going to the right address. He mentioned that no LTC address starts with 3 so he should have noticed that right away. It is wrong to blame others for the mistakes we have made.  But it’s amazing what Rollbit has done in handling this case, I’ve only just seen this situation, maybe because it hasn’t happened to me yet, of course, I won’t let it happen to me either.

The company has only been able to do this due to the complexity of the system but if you look at the situation it is no longer the responsibility of the site.  But the opening up of this scenario also has a positive effect, the site will be better and will improve.  Hopefully, other sites will do the same to prevent sending a coin to the wrong network address, such as the amount that is not enough and will appear invalid and the transaction will not proceed.  As crypto users, we should already know such things.  But that's how it is, mistakes happen but can be avoided.

@Mukey, you can also edit the title of your opening post as well.
1373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot [DOT] is a bad investment because it has unlimited inflation! on: June 24, 2021, 03:21:11 PM
I notice that there are investors who are not looking at the supply of a coin or whether it is they can define a store of value.  You should also not always consider that a coin that has an unlimited supply and that you cannot consider a store of value is a bad investment.  Because the existence of ETH and DOGE is an example.  To this day, ETH is still thriving in its position, and I don't see it being surpassed by the DOT, for it is still not as noticeable as ETH has reached.  And DOGE, as a meme coin is still used in gambling bets and also because of its cheap transaction fee.  So we invest because we hope we can make money here, remember that there are also short-term investors.  The fact that you wait another 50-100 years to find out if a coin still has value is not reasonable, maybe you are aware and almost everyone knows about market movements and the volatility of prices.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recognizing Gambling Disorders, Symptoms of Severe Gambling Addiction on: June 24, 2021, 02:29:56 PM
I also have some acquaintances and even my partner was once addicted to gambling.  As long as they have money, they can gamble as they wish.  I'm the one who handles our money so he asks and lets me know if he gambles.  At that time it was almost every day, every night, and they played until the morning, it's good and it doesn't happen again now, I just don't know if we're not together.  There is nothing good about gambling too much because you will neglect and miss a lot that you should have wasted on more worthwhile things.  You probably won't ruin your friendship right away if you talk to him about his condition.  You also don't need to tell him that he needs a psychiatrist right away.  Sometimes they also need to be talked to in-depth, maybe they just lack attention as well.  They can also be invited to other hobbies or activities.
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The right time is now! on: June 24, 2021, 09:59:57 AM
It is an opportunity to buy when the coins go cheap especially the top coins that have dropped in price.  You won’t lose the top three on your list.  Is the XRP issue settled with the SEC?  Maybe I'll replace it with AME because of the unfinished issue that still doesn't end with them.  And I will also remove EOS, just me, I just don't prefer to use their platform because it's not free to create an account or wallet with them and with a lot of confirmation of transactions.  And if you look at their chart, their price movement has almost no progress, nor has it kept up with the bull run just a few months ago where Bitcoin and other coins reached their ATH.
1376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 24, 2021, 08:37:55 AM
I can't remember if I was able to pray while gambling, maybe I can't call it prayer but just a request.  In other types of gambling and non -sports betting such as bingo, lotteries, scratch cards, etc., there are other types of gambling that are still related to sports, but you do not bet on the team but the numbers or results of the scores.  .  For me, spiritual being has nothing to do with whether or not you win the gamble.  Maybe others are just in the habit of saying thank you in advance for what they believe regardless of the outcome of their bet.

Twitter is only for promotions and other types if someone DMs on my roobet twitter it's very clear their response will be very slow and even no reply at all, I've even tried it on several other twitters but it doesn't respond, one thing roobet has provided a lot of support for complaints so I think with that feature alone it's clear and they will definitely respond faster there than DMs on twitter.
Yes, you're right that their Twitter account is just for promotion purposes, in my case I didn't know their support contact before so I DMed their Twitter and they responded in less than an hour, but that only happened once and never happened again.

We don't have to expect anything from the creator of this thread because his account is no longer active so the best thing to do is to contact them at their support mail and let them know your concern or queries. But you can ask questions here in their thread and others who know will give and help you here.
