In my country , lottery generally is offline and deals with fiat. Also , it is more famous among senior and retired folks as they have not much to lose and are not aware or dont have energy to play other gambling games. Indeed very true. Either people should stop shitposting here to complete their signature posts or the topic should be locked to prevent further spams. Gambling Discussion board is turning into another frog pond like Altcoin Discussion where only a few good discussions takes place. 

If we do base up on his own post history then its clear that he do made that account solely for the purpose of advertising that local lotto website. It nothing new because the site is only for indonesian locals and also there are already sites given by some poster where you can possibly bet on other international lotteries even though you do reside on different country.

This is probably the reason why I always stick to well known casino sites like Fortune Jack, PlayBetr, MintDice, Crypto-games, Bitdice for gambling with my money. Newer sites require far more reputation to have a pleasant stay here in the community and if they were created for the sole reason to scam or being shady (like the one with OP's so called legit gambling site) then they don't have a place here.

I haven't try it but my father always buy lottery ticket in our barangay. PSCO is one of the famous lottery in the Philippines. Every time that no one gets the exact number in lottery game the price of jackpot keeps on increasing and the biggest jackpot that I have ever seen is almost 1.18 billion php (21.8 Million USD). I am looking forward trying my luck in lottery game that's why I'm planning to buy a ticket once my father buys a ticket.

Same here mate, lottery really does a popular gambling game in my country as well and just like you, I haven't tried it once in my life though its looks fun probably because it has a low chance of winning. I have a thought that instead of placing a bet in a lottery I could just place it in investment or other gambling games that has a higher chance of winning such as sports betting. But I will try it just for the sake of experience and if it caught my attention then I will probably consider to play it.

If anyone will gamble for money and will want to win with their skills then sports betting is best option for them but only if they are aware with sports, sports betting is not for those people who do not have interest in sports. You have a more secure way that your government is managing it while there are other countries where the governments do not take interest in managing any gambling activity maybe because of religion so in that places there is a chance that some scammer sell the tickets and escape away which I have saw for a number of times in many places where not a legal authorities take interest.

Its impossible on a certain country on haven't reaching out most places on a specific country where there would be a significant outlet on a certain city or capital which the community would able to purchase tickets and talking about online purchase is nonsense because the government wont
consider on giving out that option since tickets can be easily buy physically.

Obviously it is all about preferences, although dice has lower house edge and lottery has higher house edge but if someone love to play lottery then he wont move to other games.
They have their own reasons why they choose lottery instead of other games. One reason can be related to its prize where they can win big with small bet. Other reason because they only need to spend less time than other game as what they need to do is to buy lottery tickets then wait for the results.
