201  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: February 07, 2024, 11:57:04 PM
Guys, it's not interesting to read when there have been a lot of quotes that you should have removed or snipped.  Cheesy

many are just finding ways to avoid working hard in life, gambling feels like it could make that come true but it's all lies.
It's a lie for the majority of us but it's a dream come true for the few that have been into this industry for quite a while.
We can't deny that there are people or real life gamblers that have made themselves with fortune through gambling and they know how to discipline and how responsible they are to themselves.
202  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on your own vs social trading and copy trading on: February 07, 2024, 10:55:58 PM
Trading is not easy to do and does not mean it is difficult to learn because the habits we do consistently will produce much better results. This does not only apply in trading but wherever these concepts and formulas apply, it depends on how each individual is able to handle them well and responsibly.
I agree.
The learning process from doing trades and doing these social trading and copy trading depends on the individual that are studying about it.
It might take a lot of time and money for someone who doesn't have a background but it could be less for those that are risk takers and have a background with them. People think that it's easy to do copy trading because you don't do anything but don't forget that the money is yours and your letting its fate depend on the trader you copy.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: February 07, 2024, 09:54:16 PM
Everyone can relate about being greedy. You'd say that you can control your emotions and greediness but what happens when you're there in actuality?
You'll not be able to control them and that's why it is giving you the reason to adjust if you can because being greedy won't benefit you.
It won't help you in many things but it will even give you some problems along as you gamble.
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: February 07, 2024, 08:55:41 PM
The rich gambler can take as much risk as he can because if he lose with his money, he'd just spend again another batch of it from his wealth.
While the poor gambler, if he losses his own money. The hard part is on how he can recover if he doesn't have that much wealth.
So, just take precaution for the poor gamblers and if you can't take the losses lightly then you are better not to gamble and spend your money for something important.
205  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: February 06, 2024, 11:47:48 PM
Managing economics is a very good habit. I think its a necessary thing to manage the whole system.
You don't have to know all of it, having the basics is more than enough because you have to manage your own economy than the entire economics of the whole system.

I am managing my house expenses with discipline. It is really helpful to avoid over expenses.
Nice, many don't do that because they're renting so if you've got your own house and manages to go with discipline over it. That means that you're doing a good job.
206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people mostly fail in trading on: February 06, 2024, 10:52:58 PM
Actually two levels of people are more interested in trading as first when a crypto user comes to know about crypto then he loses money while trading. On the other hand the middle class users refrain from trading because they have already lost a lot of money while trading. Moreover, those who are more experienced in trading easily get profit from here due to which they value trading more than investment.
Those that have experienced losing in trading, don't want to try again and choose to hold. While someone who's very eager and optimistic and doesn't let themselves down due to failure keeps going on. It is okay to stop and learn another way of staying on this market.
IF trading doesn't work for you and you think of yourself as a failure, stop it from there and learn another technique to invest on the market as there's no other way than majority's common known.
207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: February 06, 2024, 09:45:42 PM
It’s quite sad as your friend has created a theory that keeps him motivated enough to continue gambling even if he continuously looses. I doubt he hardly thinks of his losses as he probably has his eyes set on the big win. The big win that’s just around the corner.
An average gambler cannot afford to play daily with unrealistic hopes of winning it soon. He could lose literally everything and if he takes such an advice. Addiction would not far off as well. Your friend needs help and definitely need to take some time off gambling.
He surely think of his losses but the matter here is that he's finding a reason for him to explain to him that it's fine to gamble everyday.
There are many reasons when someone tells a thing and trying to prove their argument that they're right.
Well, to each their own and it's surely not a good thing to gamble everyday just for you to consider the chance of winning.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 06, 2024, 08:40:31 PM
I’m also a little surprised we haven’t seen any big moves in the trade market yet. The deadline is quickly going to come and go. I’ve heard the Suns are trying desperately to get one more piece.
I am also waiting for some of the big trades just to see if there are real with the rumors that have been there lately.
But as you've said, none of them hasn't come so I think that it's just best to go on with these rumors and take it as something that won't happen.
And we've got just a few day/s left for the trade deadline so maybe at the exact deadline, we'll see.
209  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: February 05, 2024, 05:55:42 PM
A professional, a friend, or a family member can only help an addicted gambler get out of their addiction if the gambler says it themselves that they are addicted and they feel like they should stop gambling as it's eating up all their time and money and it is causing issues for their life.
Most of the addicted ones won't admit that they're addicted. And that's why even with the help of those closest people that are concerned to the condition.
The help that will be taken from them is a big thing but it's still gonna be dependent on the gambler if he allows them to help him or he'll follow all of those help.
But if none of them really helps, and we've got services like this to help quit gambling. What matters to these people is that there are people that are concerned to their own welfare.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 05, 2024, 05:22:06 PM
Obviously this is not about title or victory but about the weight of the two which is quite far apart, this is the main reason why Davis refuses to meet the KO monster Inoue.
After all, Inoue has also perfected the title he earned and now only time will tell whether he stays or will jump to a division above him by trying to become challenger for other champions in higher class.
IMO, he should stay where he is right now and wait for more challengers to come. But if he's bored there already and can't do that much then it's time for him to start challenging on a higher weight division. That's the way to go for him to get more championships and he's already proven himself to his current weight class. If he wants to prove more things then that's what he has to do as he's already unbeatable and proved as a monster there.
211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: February 05, 2024, 04:36:02 PM
Whatever works for you, must be the one you are doing. If taking profits and having a portion of it to save for you to be able to gamble again works, no doubt that it should be done by you and keep doing it.
We have our own ways of keeping ourselves on track when we gamble and as long as it's not giving you a hard time to gamble again next, that's a good strategy that you're following.
212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 05, 2024, 03:57:38 PM
In terms of having someone like him to their roster before his retirement is like some sort of history. But what most teams like to have history is to win championships. Each team has their own franchise and best player that they can have and give the salary cap.
While it is not going to give Lebron that much benefit but AFAIK, this is just a rumor and won't happen.

We are talking about Lebron here, yes he is 39 years old but we haven't seen this kind of players, who is entering his 20+ seasons and yet he can still play better than 90% of the current players that we have. Dirk retired because he can't contribute as he used to, he was 40 years old that time. But look at Lebron this season, although he could be injury prone, but he can still run fast, chase for a block, shot outside and dunk in transition.

I don't see him getting traded by the Lakers, him and AD for that matter. And again, as what we have speculated, he is just waiting for his son to turn pro so that they can play together at least in a season. Doesn't matter which team, as long as they can make history together, it will be something for Lebron before he decided to retire.
I agree.
He can still play better and that's why he's still with the Lakers. If this is just another player from the NBA, he probably won't be getting any new more contracts. He has mentioned that he wants to play with his son so whoever goes first with the two sons he has and managed to play with one season. I think that's the record that he's wanting to have and then he'll retire afterwards. Oh well, a lot of legends and good players have retired and we're seeing another era to an end.
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 05, 2024, 09:27:00 AM
Never heard that rumor about trading for LeBron James but right now LeBron James is still the cash cow for the Los Angeles Lakers which is why they can not get rid of LeBron James many want him to the team not because of getting the championship, but the money that LeBron will bring into the table for having him in the team will surely give the team boost in the money kid of thing the budget and salary for sure,

Lebron James is 39 years old and his career is not long anymore. with high contracts and salaries it will be difficult for new clubs to accommodate him. because there are salary cap rules, aka there is a maximum budget limit for each club that can be spent. so if there is a club that wants Lebron James, they have to sell or throw away their star players so that the salary cap spot is there to accommodate Lebron James.

214  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting without losing your money/no need for deposit on: February 05, 2024, 07:19:57 AM
While reading the description, I think that there's something off already with the description about betting but wanting not to lose any money.
It's a kind of offer that I wouldn't bite and as everyone is telling about the design of the website, it's probably just an idea that came from a teen that think it's very possible. And understanding the idea and having it with a faucet, so it's most likely that you want people to use your faucet. As said, please fix your website.
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2 years old kids alone at home for hours, while the father goes gambling on: February 04, 2024, 11:33:23 PM
If a country is strict on this matter, they'd lose the child care of the father and won't allow him to get close to the kid until the kid goes onto the right age.
So the paternity rights is still there but it will take time for him to learn the lesson unless there's the petition of the wife that he's totally okay in seeing the child.
It's sad for the kid that he has a father like that. The father can do better without compromising his kid's safety.

While the trade rumors for Zach Lavine is there, he's going to undergo a surgery this coming week and he'll miss tons of games.
The recovery period could be for max of 6 months or possible to be more than that. If I'm the owner of the team, I'd definitely just trade him somewhere else and will take someone who's better than him. But will there be a team that's willing to take him now with that condition?

Bulls won't get anywhere close to what they are looking to get from him.  With him being hurt who is going to trade a better player for someone who might end up being shut down for the rest of the season.
They're trying to dispose what they want to dump and that's true that they won't get anywhere close to the trade that they want.

The report says 6 or so weeks but you never know with these types of things how his body will respond.  His value went down significantly with that injury.
I agree with that.
It's just an estimation and who knows if the injury won't heal at that accurate timeframe that the doctors have given him. And it's certainly possible that it can go longer.

Zach will miss all the remaining games of the season. This means all strong teams that want more reinforcements this season won't accept him anymore. The Lakers are the favored team to get him but they will surely reject a Zach trade at this point.
No point of getting him if he' just going to destroy the bench and make a hole out of sitting.

Maybe some teams that are rebuilding are willing to accept but the problem is Zach's commitment.
That's right, a big problem for the team that are going to accept him this time. But if it's up as a business and there will be some locked in trades already, good for him and Bulls.

Zach said before that he wants to join a good team so it means not a rebuilding team.
Given with that, it's going to take to the next season for him to do that.
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: February 04, 2024, 04:22:27 PM
You should always have a bankroll that you play with and bet 1% to 3% of your bankroll on a game.  Also if you're going to use services like that make sure that there picks are monitored by an independent third party.
But it is not guaranteed even there's an independent third party. But I agree having that kind of percentage as a bankroll because you'll safe with that amount even if you lose them.

I do not trust any experts and this applies not only to gambling as even if someone has received an expert title for his past predictions it does not mean that his future predictions will be 100% correct.
It's different with other industries when we say that they're experts. But there's no other experts predicting futures other than gambling, are there? Like fortune tellers? They're the same as with gambling IMO.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you win? on: February 03, 2024, 11:33:10 PM
Even if the intention is good for winning altogether but this is a utopian idea that it's not going to happen. We can share some tactics and strategies but, the algorithm of these games changes over time and it's designed to let the house wins.
Together we share some good info about those games that requires analysis like in sports betting, that's fine but still, the game or match itself is unpredictable and can end with some twist.
