521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: January 16, 2024, 05:27:04 PM
Moreover, both Lukaku and Dybala are good players, but they were rejected by all the top clubs. Plus, Dybala has already received 4 injuries this season and has missed many games. To win everything you need a top team, but Roma won the Conference League and reached the Europa League final - these are already good achievements. And these are the best achievements of Italian teams until someone takes at least some title. The last two times this was done by Mourinho and only him - in 2011 with Inter and recently with Roma.
There is no doubt about his abilities to have better results into UEFA, but now things are taking quick changes, and we have to adopt them otherwise things can go on wrong way for any team same happen in Roma case with Serie A performance was not good enough which was main target of the Roma management even they were doing good in UEFA so now as they feel it's not coming then sacked Mourinho and now have new coach which is having target of improving performance in remaining season with ending on better spot.

Romeo Lukaku and Dybala both are good but sadly now things are not favourable for them and most chances they have to search for new club after end of this season because after sacking of Mourinho situation is changed.

De rossi was not a good coach and i think roma will be too soon in europa league. Mourinho was a european competition specialist and im losing all of my trust on roma since de rossi has been announced to be a new coach.
Just because he was a legendary player of roma and it doesn't mean he was good. That's pretty much the same like what happened with rooney and gerrard. They were called as legend on their old team but they have no passion to be coaches for the football club.

They were always failed to deliver the result and got sacked. Im only seeing de rossi will have the same fate like all of them. Missing mourinho is one of biggest mistake. We can say mourinho full with problems but he was always giving 1 trophy with weak squad.
De rossi will not able to do that and im sure some players were losing their mood caused by they must be playing under their non favorite coaches. The fans will not have big expectations for the club.

Roma's owner was delusional. Roma was almost reaching top 4 but mourinho got sacked. Roma is not having good roster too. The owner was so crazy af.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 16, 2024, 05:10:02 PM

I think it is a move in a wrong direction for the FA to deduct 10 points from Everton at this point in time when the club is facing relegation battles, this will only dampen their confidence and also jeopardize everything they have worked for so far. Everton still has the right to an appeal though but if they lose the appeal then it would be very disastrous for them and may cost them their chances of escaping relegation so let's hope that everything goes in Everton's favour when the hearing for their appeal comes up.

That's the consequence if they don't obey the rules there was no way to avoid it if Everton had done it, Everton have narrowly avoided relegation after their struggles last month but unfortunately the problem is not over yet and clearly has an impact on the players' mentality, imagine if Everton deducted 10 points then they only have 7 points while this league only has 17 matches remaining meaning that Everton is definitely one of the candidates for relegation. Honestly, I think this is unfair and hope Everton can get past this however, I want to see Everton in the Premier League next season.
How can you call that as unfair. There was a reason anything. The main reason if everton has been violating the rules and that's it. Nottingham forest has been releasing official statement too which makes everything clear that if the club is now accepting it.

I will give you a small update regarding this problem.

Quote
The chief executive of the Premier League, Richard Masters, has confirmed that a date has been agreed to hear the 115 charges brought against Manchester City and acknowledged a delay in assessing 777 Partners’ offer to buy Everton, as he sought to show MPs the top flight remains committed to reform of English football.
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/jan/16/date-set-for-manchester-citys-115-charge-hearing-confirms-richard-masters

Manchester city has gotten the date for the hearing of all charges against city. It will become a disaster for manchester city. Chelsea may be targeted by EPL as well but i think that there were lots of clubs have been violating the rules.
The sanction has been also delaying the acquisition for everton. It will give bad impact to the club and probably the acquisition will be cancelled if everton will be going down to the lower division.

There are so many things are still remain unanswered till this time. We do know that there will be a lot of disappointed regarding this but EPL is just trying to be better. Manchester city needs to make a preparation for that.
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will be the next hype in crypto? on: January 15, 2024, 05:44:07 PM
I think the next boom will be AI and Defi, because currently AI and Defi projects have a good reputation, Defi helps people to manage and organize finances, while AI helps the technology sector, although there are so many sectors but these 2 will be the main highlight .
im really doubtful with AI though when the AI topic was so heated for discussion there's nothing about AI in crypto market that truly attracts people.
right now even more apparent with many AI coin losing its value being overshadowed by the presence of defi protocol and L2 even L1 right now are hottest topic to discuss.
but with AI coin, well even no whales seem to be attracted to it, but we will see maybe in the future there will be something but considering the fact that AI out there are heavily funded by large companies
im kinda pessimistic with AI in crypto market.
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you holding any gaming based altcoins? on: January 15, 2024, 05:26:24 PM
i've been holding gala for quite long time and honestly its kinda dissappointing in term of performance, thats the thing with game based altcoin they only good at the beginning and would disappoint in the end.
because the game are usually abandoned even there are some altcoin that actually are utilized for gaming turning into game studio and well the result is that they still hardly reach their all time high.
i guess the game fi trend isn't as big as before right now there are some games released even more so with the one that have partnership with binance they usually are quite awesome after their listing they gonna soar in price but usually after that its downhill.
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs in the Real World on: January 15, 2024, 04:36:14 PM
I've always wondered about the essence of NFT projects as investment in the long, I've never been a part of any of their communities because I really don't understand their vision, all I see is their focuses on games and arts. I guess they'd have to sale a masterpiece to a very rich art enthusiast or a celebrity to earn their tokens, my concern is that the art piece can be duplicated and anybody can have it, except the buyer keeps the original. I'll agree with you that NFT is a trend, and if they don't add any new innovations, then they're as good as dead, with investors funds going down with them. I don't know much about NFT so don't take my words as facts.
thats honestly should be a concern here, an NFT art, we still don't know whether there's any legal binding that could protect the original creator of the art from getting their art copyrighted by other people, we've seen so many such acts in the NFT platform like opensea where people quite literally just reuploading things that are created by other artists and try to profit off it.
such thing should not be happening if there's any protection for the original NFT creator that have the rightful ownership of such NFT.
i wonder if an artist could somehow prove that the NFT is theirs, how can they fight against those trying to duplicates.
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 15, 2024, 02:53:00 PM
Real Madrid or Manchester City. Don't try to buy quotes from scraps. European football is over, there are only these two teams Smiley

It's quite pathetic how you forgot to mention bayern munich as one of the strong team this season. It has been doing a lot of efforts to strengthening its club like bought kane from totenham. City and real madrid are the best but bayern munich can still count on the miracle that can happen anytime.

Since Manchester City has De Bruyne back in the main squad, I am guessing that other clubs will be scared when they face Manchester City. I can imagine that when real madrid to face manchester city as its opponent when haaland wil be also be able to playing against real madrid.
This will be the most interesting match, I hope that i can see madrid to face manchester city again.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 15, 2024, 02:34:06 PM
Vini Jr.'s performance was legendary. Being the first Brazilian to score a hat-trick in El Clasico is impressive. This is notable for its timing and style of scoring. Along with his jersey number and CR7 celebration, his first goal felt like a passing of the mantle.
I was hearding a news said that mbappe will replace him as a left winger of real madrid and it makes me feel so curious about that. Vini has proven itself to be the best in the world and it sounds non sense to put mbappe in then he out from the club.
I prefer to see him stay much longer in madrid rather than mbappe. No mbappe no problem. Real madrid can still win the game easily without having mbappe on its club. Vini and rodry were on FIRE!!!!!

I was also fascinated by the tactical aspect. Real Madrid's Brazilian-led attack destroyed Barcelona's defence. Madrid's attackers exploited Barcelona's unsuccessful offside traps, showing a great grasp and anticipation of their rival's tactics. This clever play and Vini Jr.'s brilliance cement Real Madrid's top spot. Both strategy and skill make them a formidable team.

He was always able leaving from barcelona's defender. No doubt that if XAVIOUT has been trending on X. All of barca fans demanded him to leave from the club as soon as possible but that totally depends on laporta. The loss against real madrid may disrupt barcelona's performance.
Barcelona played unattractive football, and it deserved to lose against real madrid. Real madrid deserves a trophy, and that's happening. Barcelona was always like that, all defenders were going upfront then real madrid can easily counter attack it.
528  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whenever ORDI and SATS are pumping we get crazy miner transaction fees... why on: January 15, 2024, 12:51:58 AM
I guess when the price rise with ORDI and SATS many people are moving around their ORDI and SATS as a result the increase in fee, need to know that BRC20 taking advantage of exploit in bitcoin blockchain thats not supposedly being used for smart contract or anything that requires so many transactions (cmiiw) so the result is that whenever there are many BRC20 based token moving around its always gonna burden the bitcoin blockchain honestly people should just stick with the BTC L2 that allows implementation of smart contract for real like stacks or elastos they are good enough but it seem people are really keen to just implement their own smart contract within the bitcoin blockchain anyway.
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kaspa or Ethereum Classic? on: January 15, 2024, 12:32:15 AM
Kaspa has been strong so far. Although I don't see smart contracts on it yet. Seems they are yet to implement that. Same as Ethereum Classic. So, I think the one with most  smart contract between KAS and EtC will be stronger with time although, I'm holding non but might Decide to buy the two and pair them with Bitget smart portfolio to see which one will pump more while I earn more of the other from it as they are both good coins.

Is that a hybrid version of the BTC and ETH combination? I have seen projects that use BTC or ETH technology to create something better than them. I think this is the problem current developers are facing. Lack of unique ideas and ambition. Why does it always need to be a better version of two popular blockchain network, Why not something totally different? If you are seeing problems in those two networks, then do something totally different so that your name can be someone like satoshi.
its basically a PoW smart contract blockchain but implementing some new technology for the sake of increasing tps, nothing special but if you are asking why these coin keep implementing a "better" version of ethereum or maybe bitcoin its because they just want to repeat the same glory, creating anything from scratch basically reinventing the wheel will likely cost so much anyway, so they just went on with the existing tech or protocol and then reimplement also added some thing that they consider to be innovative and thats it, nothing wrong with that as long as its for the sake of advancement of blockchain technology in my honest opinion.
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: January 15, 2024, 12:22:41 AM
The reason most people are interested in buying altcoins is because the risk is high but the profit is high. Many altcoins will see 10x to 50x profit during bull runs, which will take a long time to pay off in Bitcoin.  Investors are more interested in buying alt coins.
especially true with a lot of us that has small amount of capital, i mean lets be real here, if we only have $10k or less, investing in bitcoin might not be impactful for us also ethereum might not necessarily fill our desire of getting some good gain within short amount of time so there's no other way but altcoin if we truly want to get some good gains after all most of altcoin still have low market capitalization and the price of the coin itself only costs peanut.
basically it suited for many of us that are not whale and yet want to make some good profit also.
therefore why altcoin has the market of its own.
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: January 14, 2024, 04:05:38 AM
Im reading the latest news and i have found one that makes me interested to read it.

Quote
There are problems for Karim Benzema in Saudi Arabia.

The player, according to MARCA, has not shown up for Al-Ittihad's pre-season training camp and, by order of the coach, will not participate in the Dunao tour that the team will depart for on Sunday.
https://www.marca.com/en/football/2024/01/13/65a2ff0c268e3e92528b45a5.html

Is this a signal if benzema will be going back to the european league again? It seems that Benzema and Ittihad are experiencing a significant decline in their relationship. I meant he was losing his confidence to play in the saudi pro league. It will be wasting a lot of money and time for saudi pro league to recruit him in the club. There will be so many speculations about him to join in the eurpean club again. I think that the club has lost their respects to him caused by it's a common knowledge if benzema has bad relationship with ittihad.

It will be so bad for SPL to lose him as one who brought the popularity of SPL to go up. This will become another mistake being made by ittihad caused by that. It will be affecting
532  Economy / Economics / Re: Will they ever be able to afford a house? on: January 14, 2024, 12:35:52 AM
This all depends on where you live. And I personally am a person who lives in a village far from the city center, but because of education and work, I decided to live in the city. For me personally, building a house in the countryside might not be too difficult, considering that the price of land is very cheap and I can take the building materials directly from nature. However, due to work demands, I chose to live in the city in a small apartment. Because if I had to build a house in the city, right now I don't feel like I can afford it. So let alone being able to collect building materials, buying a plot of land is quite difficult, because the price is quite expensive.
its always easier to build house at the countryside but the expenses of being too far from the city basically also means being too far from the general facilities should also be accounted.
after all, we need to drive probably an hour to a city thats already wasting some money for gas, but overall for those that are thinking that they couldn't afford house in city and just want some countryside vibe when they are retiring its definitely solid plan.
even more so if we could buy a large plot of land for the sake of doing some farming and so on when we are old, we could pretty much utilize the technology of AI for agriculture in few years anyway.
533  Economy / Economics / Re: What did elon do wrong in Twitter on: January 14, 2024, 12:08:31 AM
I could forgive Elon Musk for almost anything he was doing with Twitter but changing its name and logo? That I can't forgive. I mean that hideous X instead of the iconic cute little bird!
well he shell out billions already to acquire the platform, let man do whatever he wanna do after all it seems he has some ulterior motive of transforming X as a platform into some super app that he said gonna replace traditional banking, well elon musk said it himself.
but I believe that after seeing twitter going down in valuation so much as well as losing some advertiser in the platform then it apparent that elon want to turn around the table trying to implement some new thing transforming twitter from just a mere social media into something thats more valuable overall even making it digital banking app in the future. its kinda apparent that he just couldn't let his billions down the drain.
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to farm airdrops on crypto? on: January 13, 2024, 11:54:50 PM
airdrops nowadays also require staking, but indeed there are some retroactive airdrop that only requires us to interact with smart contract but overall trend has shifted and staking is becoming more and more prominent, latest meme airdrop requiers staking, blast, manta, eigenlayer, and so on they all require staking certain amount of ETH and sometime the requirement is 1 ETH, might be difficult for those with lack of capital also there are concern that the whales are getting most of it, but I personally find it to be easier to follow just stake and thats it, no need to waste time doing some random thing that doesn't even guaranteed to be bountiful later.
but its still worth to do some retroactive by using the blockchain if certain blockchain hasn't released their token because there's always chance that they gonna release it later and some share of the token are gonna be distributed for airdrop for the sake of increasing the holders.
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 13, 2024, 04:15:45 PM
Augsburg  vs  Leverkusen

Leverkusen's players are fighting hard today against Augsburg. Neither team could score in 40 minutes. However, Leverkusen's players are trying to dominate the match. Maybe in the second half they will increase the pace of attack.

After 40 minutes, Leverkusen had 75% of the ball and had 6 shots on goal. Despite several strong attacks, Augsburg's players and goalkeepers parried every attack. Augsburg's players will probably be happy with the draw. However, if they want to keep the top spot in the points table, the Leverkusen team must gain 3 points.

Leverkusen had made a few goal attempts but it keeps failed to score against augsburg. Augsburg was doing pretty well by playing fully defensive against leverkusen which has been known as the strongest club after bayern this season.
It seems the game will end with draw as the final result. Im seeing that how difficult leverkusen to break augsburg's defense without the help from boniface. The striker played a very important roles in this case and leverkusen was losing a very important player.
The club being so clueless and i hope that club will be lucky enough to win the game against augsburg. There is still enough time for leverkusen to prove it and i do believe leverkusen will make it happen soon.
Im not feeling so happy with the current stats of the game but the chance owned by leverkusen to score is quite high, it will be a disaster if club will get draw against augsburg. Bayern will be able to surpass it again. Leverkusen needs to win the game.
536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 13, 2024, 04:04:57 PM
Chelsea want to win so bad even though they need to sacrifice 5 players to receive yellow cards, honestly it's shame, the match held in Chelsea's home and they're struggle to win. They need to play carefully or they will lose many players, they're currently lack of players because some of them are injured and absence due to international league.
There's nothing wrong with that. Chelsea at very least tries to secure three points which were good for the club to avoid the relegation zone. The yellow card was mostly coming from the unnecessary act of the players like kicking the ball.
At least, three points acquired by chelsea even though it was getting so many yellow cards. Three points are a must save pochettino's position as a coach as there was a rumor chelsea would be sacking him if club keeps get another bad result.

Tomorrow should the most interesting match in this week.
I will be watching city vs newcastle. This match seems the best match while im sure united will lose against totenham. It will help chelsea to stay above manchester united.
Son must have played or it will be a disaster for totenham. Im quite happy to see that some players like antony or even rashford played so badly this season. They were lowering their standard as players, which have very expensive prices.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in meme coins is worthy or not? on: January 13, 2024, 12:43:48 AM
if you got some money you want to throw around to make some random developer of meme coin rich then go ahead, nothing is stopping you but always remember that those that wins big are the lucky ones out of thousand in the case of meme coin because why? manipulation. there are so many manipulation going on with these meme coin that even if i tell you maybe you wouldn't believe but seeing how some meme coin suddenly got some massive liquidity and pump don't you think it kinda resemble manipulation?
again, if you truly intend to throw around your money, well, nothing wrong with meme coin but you just need to have low expectations when it comes to it. after all
these coins are being called shitcoin and meme coin for reason and thats not a good one, some people are losing big money out of meme coin its just that they don't speak as loud as those that get rich quick.
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF approved, next Ethereum ETF? on: January 13, 2024, 12:12:09 AM
As we all know, the Bitcoin ETF is already approved. So, do you think the next ETF for Ethereum will be approved as well? Many companies, including BlackRock, have filled the Ethereum ETF as well. I believe the line is already clear to approve the Ethereum ETF since the SEC gave green light to the Bitcoin ETF. We have noticed significant price movements on Ethereum since Bitcoin EFT was approved. I don't see any reason not to approve the Ethereum ETF as well. The deadline is May for the Ethereum ETF. We have to wait for that. What's your thoughts about Ethereum ETF?

I don't think that will be so quick.  That will blow the top open for all other altcoins to start having etfs.  It was a large enough effort to get this through I don't believe they are gonna roll over that quick on eth.  Just because it's a large cap alt doesn't stop it from being just another altcoin.
its quite literally already on progress, many big investment companies have already filled ethereum ETF they definitely gonna follow this up after bitcoin was approved.
the other altcoin will definitely not gonna follow because I guess the only ones that are able to fill the etf for these coins are just these multinational big investment companies which definitely
are gonna be selective, as we all know these companies are so eager to invest in major coins like bitcoin and ethereum so therefore its no wonder that they are trying to get these ETF approved.
meanwhile the other altcoin gap in market capitalization if you see are also so big if compared with bitcoin and ethereum.
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Things in Binance Under New CEO - What are your thoughts? on: January 12, 2024, 11:56:25 PM
Yes, I admit that too. but I'm confused whether this will have a positive or negative impact because too many registered tokens can cause Binance's credibility to decrease. But regarding this kind of change in top officials for me it is normal and is likely to happen in many companies, the most important thing is that the new person who holds the position is able to provide better policies than the previous person.
as long as it is thoroughly reviewed by the binance team themselves i think its gonna be fine, in fact as I've seen lately those new coin listed are generally being invested first hand by the binance labs, meanwhile there are indeed some altcoin that are listed out of the blue but most of them are the coins that have hypes and also deemed to be good enough by binance also its because they want to pump that trading volume number up.
so its kinda understandable speaking from business perspective after all credibility is gonna be fine if the coin they listed are not some random meme coin.
under this new CEO nothing much has changed, its as if he just following the roadmap that binance already has since CZ is still ceo because im sure as heck that they definitely have roadmap for their future planning.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 12, 2024, 05:26:48 PM
Today's game wouldn't change much, I believe both teams will be relegated at the end of the season. Everton had a 10 point punishment, Brentford is better than these teams. I think last 3 have very slim chance to stay in the league. Luton Town is not in Premier League level. Burnley is a better team but they don't play good. They don't have a scorer forward. Tomorrow's games are better, I wouldn't bet on PL today.
I have different observation regarding it. My scenario will be, luton/everton stay in EPL. Sheffield and burnley back to the championship division. Brentford has a chance to be relegated too. The competition will be among everton, luton and brentford.
The result from any week will he helping the club to be far away from the relegation zone. The club needs to play even better to rebuilding their reputation again. I knew that if some clubs promoted last season have the biggest potential to be relegated again soon.

Everton's objective is to accumulate three more points, which will guarantee their position and keep them far from the relegation zone. The competition at the bottom is also very interesting to watch. I do support everton to leave from relegation zone.
This club was always lucky enough at the end of season to keep stay in the EPL league. Despite the ongoing blame directed at this club by many individuals, I maintain my belief that Everton will persist and not be relegated in the foreseeable future.
