The low Data penetration rate in Southern Africa compared to levels elsewhere clearly indicates the pent-up demand for broadband connectivity. Moya Networks, a project created by seasoned Pan-African ICT professionals, experienced in developing and managing ICT companies, plans to bring transparency to the Southern African wholesale markets in an effort to ramp up internet connection inclusion in the area. In the Southern African wholesale market, Cables such as SAT-3 and WACs until recently have held unchallenged market positions, which has resulted in data prices that are between 10 to 20 times more expensive than those in markets outside of Africa. No sistema da Bitcoin, todas as transações são gravadas permanentemente na blockchain. É este atributo que permite à Bitcoin ser completamente descentralizada. No entanto, estas transações são compostas de dados que ocupam espaço nos blocos da blockchain. Estes blocos têm atualmente um limite de 1MB o que faz com que as transações estejam limitadas a 3-7 transações por segundo (TPS) tendo em conta que os blocos são emitidos de 10 em 10 minutos. Estes tokens são para especulação. Os tokens verdadeiros (BTU) so vão existir depois do fork. Tendo BTC numa carteira pessoal (que controles as private keys) recebes as moedas de certeza. Tendo as moedas numa exchange depende apenas dos operadores da mesma ^^ |

Após o crescente interesse na proposta da Bitcoin Unlimited, os mercados parecem estar já a preparar-se para a possibilidade de uma eventual bifurcação(hard fork) da bitcoin. A maioria dos mercados já emitiu declarações defendendo as suas posições, tendo a Bitfinex ido um passo à frente ao criar um “jogo” do possível hard fork. Bastante semelhante a um mercado de previsões, a Bitfinex introduziu os Chain Split Tokens (CSTs), que, de acordo com Bitinex, é “o primeiro produto deste tipo”.
