21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many project SCAMS - PLEASE CAREFUL on: December 31, 2020, 01:07:45 PM
Various scams are already apparent for the past years and we cannot stop them. That's why it's also a part of getting into crypto space is to know how to avoid and keep yourself safe from scammers. Since the adoption is continuously growing, more scammers will use it to delude beginners. Remember to always be careful with projects you are choosing and to always do prior research.

And some of them are hiding as new projects in the crypto space. so be careful because they will use all the good stuff whitepaper roadmap just to get what they want which is your hardwork money. Invest only in legitimate project and don't be FOMO with a new coins with high price they will all lost its value someday so be careful.
22  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BITCOIN FORUM account opened today. So many questions.......lets talk anonymity on: December 30, 2020, 07:16:59 PM
Thanks.  I am excited to be part of the cryptoverse.  I have brought along a few converts from my family into Bitcoin as well.  I intend on HODLing but do not feel comfortable leaving it on the exchanges, especially non KYC exchanges which seem to be useful but shady as all heck.   It sounds like sending it to a non-KYC and then sending it back to a new wallet in smaller increments may be a viable option (according to some responses).

I will also research some mixers (already looking at Wasabi Wallet).

Yes you can do that if it's not that big amount you can use binance without the need to verify your account for a limit of 2BTC daily if I'm  not mistaken ,you just need to update your account with Google authenticator . Mixer only use if you want to clean your Bitcoin since you legally bought it from exchange I don't think you still need to do that . You only want is to hide your main address from exchange that you bought your BTC  No kyc exchange is enough for that.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to convert your LTC into BCH - I see BCH may follow Bitcoin as of 2016 on: December 30, 2020, 04:15:54 PM
Time to convert your LTC into BCH - I see BCH may follow Bitcoin as of 2016

It is time to convert your LTC in to Bitcoin Cash, It looks like Bitcoin Cash is more volatile than Bitcoin. I am taking Bitcoin Cash as bitcoin in 2016. I don't claim that Bitcoin Cash will really follow the Bitcoin momentum but it is more volatile than bitcoin so anything is possible to happen.

We are not in 2016 and besides LTC is ahead in BCH in terms marketcap so why other will  exchange their LTC to BCH? Maybe from other coins but not from LTC this is an old coins with a porpuse unlike BCH which is only a fork of Bitcoin.  I remember way back when they fork it the price of each BCH is around 0.1 something in BTC and at the first launch it's almost half of the price of Bitcoin did anything change for BCH after many years ? Other than they are always making a fork to make money on it.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $Cover protocol hacked (another defi hack) 😑 on: December 30, 2020, 10:39:30 AM
And the the hackers give it back, but with a message, Lol.

They are lucky, but I haven't check if the hackers really return the money in full, in any case it was a happy ending at least.

because the defi project is too focused on money ,development and listing they forgot to review the code that the hacker saw that became a hole to mint more supplies of it and sold it in the market . How can you manage others people money if you can't even manage your token codes .

It's not full I am sure they sold other from different address and giveback only 1/4 or 1/2 of it, I just don't know how they can solve it since there are many new buyers bought it for minted supply if they make snap shot then they should also recieve the same amount. It's a mistake in developer not from the buyers so they should paid them also the same amount.

26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Appeal to Everyone to secure your future on: December 29, 2020, 02:51:33 PM
Making small investments in Bitcoin is good. But at the same time, you need to keep your expectations low. Right now Bitcoin is trading at $26,400 per coin and its market cap is around $500 billion. Unlike what happened in 2013 and 2017, I don't think that it is possible for Bitcoin to give 20x or 50x returns anymore. It has already attained a high market capitalization, and therefore any future returns will be moderate.

To increase your Bitcoin holdings you need to also take the risk investing in altcoin that you think can give you upto 100x profit .in that case you are helping your self to increase your holdings at the same time you earn in BTC if the price of it increase . So trading will be the best option for you if you are looking for high gain that Bitcoin give before and to do that you need to do some research about the project and make sure you will not lost in it for buying.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: OKCoin suspend XRP trading and deposits (after Coinbase announcement) on: December 29, 2020, 12:48:44 PM
What is going to kill XRP token price is when Binance announce the suspension or delisting of the token from their exchange, I have said that Ripple is against what this space stands for but have been successful in marketing their useless tokens as the bank token some people bought into the sham

Is there any reason why  will binance will delist it? Other than the SEC which is from US? Binance as far as I know is not US base so I don't see any possible reason why they will going to do that not unless they surrender and they see XRP as one of the shitcoins in the market .with low volume trade that they can add in that exchange. The daily volume given in XRP in any exchange is high so it's not that easy to surrender a coins that can give them high earnings in trading fees even the price decrease.
28  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fake Twitter watch out on: December 28, 2020, 06:31:07 PM

Maybe with the blue tick the scamer can fool those who don't know but I'm sure people will see the URL and it's clear they made it with a long name, lol how could they be victims if they see it, ah never mind this is very stupid.

I saw it in telegram groups which are mostly accessed on mobile. The scammer inserts a link in a link where it can be visited directly within the application and doesn't show the address bar which makes the user unaware that it is a fake tiwtter page. You'll only notice that clicking RT and likes doesn't work.

I even saw other pupolar person like celebrity and elunmusk for example. that give fake giveaway the same thing they used in Facebook in 2017-2018 but right now they only give screenshot with fake instructions how to claim or to double your money by just depositing to the address they given. Not new scheme but they are
now upgradedd it and use their own website . It's looks like they really earn a lot by fooling other people with that fake giveaway scheme.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is a fair transaction fee for the Bitcoin transaction? on: December 28, 2020, 01:34:57 PM
A fair transaction fee should be free, otherwise it is a tax.

in my opinion if it's free it's not worth the results you get. taxes are very necessary, held for the sake of sustainability and the position of bitcoin as an important asset. However, the problem of high fees needs to be reduced to give bitcoin holders more space to continue to exist in the cryptocurrency universe. so this shouldn't cause anxiety for holders of bitcoins under $ 10-100. but until now, will the miners provide relief?

I preferred to use fees around 1$ only all do it takes time to recieve it in the other wallet but it's worth it than to pay for 5-$ or more for normal or faster transaction fee asked by miners. The transaction speed just reduce for 1-2 days of waiting for confirmation ,but it's good alternative  if you are not really in a hurry to recieve it in your wallet.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 1inch exchange token claim on: December 28, 2020, 11:42:14 AM
How to claim 1inch exchange token?
Can I claim?
I honestly don't know the details.
I hope those who know please let me know.

If you use that exchange before they distribute the tokens or airdrop  then you are eligible for the airdrop, but if not then forget about how you can have it since that is the main requirements of that airdrop it is the same as uni airdrop before.

In case you use that exchange here is the instructions to claim yours https://help.1inch.exchange/en/articles/4747599-how-to-claim-the-1inch-token .
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can go to Zero on: December 27, 2020, 06:28:19 PM
...
*wake up mate. even though the SEC set strange rules, Bitcoin will continue to have a price even if it's only $1...
as long as there are still bitcoiners around the world Bitcoin will not be worth zero.

Yeah he forget that Bitcoin alrwady  has its own demand and many people invested there  already .so there is no way for Bitcoin to be at zero not unless there is no way for people to buy it I mean internet will be shot down forever. There are different exchange one is centralized  which can be controllable by the government where they are located and the other one is decentralized which people can use without any help of any centralised or 3rd party exchange .
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Price of a new token in USD and USDT is different on: December 27, 2020, 03:14:32 PM
Maybe because there are mistake orders set by that time in USD and make a chart to increase that way but not a real price of coins it's just a beginning of it's pricea few cents for example. You should also check other exchange price before they list it in binance which is high enough so I don't think someone will do an orders in that price.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: did I make mistake? on: December 27, 2020, 12:56:57 PM
now Bitcoin price has increased 17.5% in the last 7 days and now the price is $27,750.69, then BTC Domination is 70.9% with Market Cap amount $727,677,130,354, but Ethereum price is currently $644.61 and is down 1.44% from the last 7 days, so I bought Ethereum with all my money (money that I use specifically for investment), because I believe Ethereum price will soon increase very high (bull run) following Bitcoin price movement and of course I will get a very big profit from investing in Ethereum (my target for Ethereum price is $1100-$1400), because I believe if Bitcoin dominance decreases, then it will make the price of altcoin increases (including the price of Ethereum).

You see it wrong you never think about the scenario of if Bitcoin decrease other altcoin will also follow and it will reduce its value the same with BTC. The safe place right now for my opinion is in USDT and wait for the correction don't forget that ETH price right now is also the highest price of it for this year so it's not wise idea to buy any crypto if you know it's in peak price.

But if you believe that the price of ETH will go there what ever the price of Bitcoin then you can continue holding it. I just think that this is not the right time since there might be a correction that will follow anytime soon.
34  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: suggestions request about trading on: December 26, 2020, 06:30:15 PM
Hello,

I'm a newbie ( still), I'm trying to learn...I'd like to be able to make small revenues by trading but seems a long way. From what I understood, the only way to trade is to but or deposit BTC on an exchange account, is that correct? But I noticed that they have fees both for buying and withdrawing. So unless I do a great deal there is more a loss than a gain. Do you know an exchange where fees are low?
If I I have a small amount on a electrum wallet, the only way to trade this amount is to deposit it in an exchange, is that correct?

Thank you, sorry for my questions.

Yes the only way is to deposit it in exchange if you want to use your Bitcoin to trading. For widrawal fees you can use other altcoin instead of Bitcoin if you want to only pay lower fees for widrawing  you balance. Exchange has fixed rate in bitcoin widrawal option from 0.001-0.0004 around that amount before you can widraw your balance.

May I know how much capital you want to use to start trading?
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whales or institutes do not stop their bitcoin buying on: December 26, 2020, 03:03:43 PM
You can't consider the moved amount is bought by the whale, just take a look at the price difference in the day you are analyzing clearly there is huge spike in the price per unit as well so why you don't consider this as people buying it instead of whales.

It's an obvious bulk buying so it's really a whales buying Bitcoin in that price you can even see it in trade history of different exchange not an ordinary person can buy 200 -500 Bitcoin in a single buy . The only question is how many whales is actually buying it, they will take it as advantage to sell it in higher price so they will continue doing that until they are satisfied in the price. I don't say that there is no small buyers but I just want to point out  that there are whales continue buying it in bulk.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is a way to earn 1400$ but I do not know more details then that, do you?🔥 on: December 26, 2020, 12:14:02 PM
The 1INCH token

https://1inch-exchange.medium.com/1inch-token-is-released-e69ad69cf3ee
Quote
All wallets that have interacted with 1inch until December, 24, midnight (UTC), will receive 1INCH tokens as long as they meet one of the following conditions: at least one trade before September, 15, OR at least 4 trades in total OR trades for a total of at least $20.

Aye thank you that is it but I see we are to late to participate on this.  Sad

Yes too late for you if you will just use that exchange this day since the distribution already given last day if I'm not mistaken. to get the next one also try to deposit in another dex exchange and trade at least once.  Maybe you know one of them will give you tokens with value later on .

There is also topic created for this one with answer how they can claim it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5303366.0 .
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So much fud and scams in crypto and BTC on: December 25, 2020, 06:56:16 PM

My question is are the mortgage fraud and stock market fud and manipulation is not enough for them?  Its really needed to come in crypto?

Are the stock market and other kind financial manipulation schemes not working?
or what the problem why they come in crypto?

Do you mean by XRP FUD? I think in every market it's always there whether it's crypto currency or stock market you just need to be earlier than other to hear the news so you can react before it come. It's a way to manipulate the price and create a panic selling or buying for traders. The earlier for you to hear the news a better chance of securing your investment .
38  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LiveCoin.net >Buy/Sell/Exchange>New pairs:BVK/BTC,APOD/BTC,KTETH/BTC on: December 25, 2020, 03:02:13 PM
It's an obvious exit scam from livecoin they lure traders by taking a trade there with  a price go to 320k$ per BTC which will be the reason to others traders  to move their funds there since they have high price compared to other exchange. Lukcyly I don't have any balance anymore in that exchange even cointelegraph think the same it's a well plan exit scam https://cointelegraph.com/news/livecoin-exchange-goes-offline-after-bitcoin-price-reportedly-exceeds-320k.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP is DEAD?! Ripple XRP DUMPING?! Buy the dip? Price Prediction! on: December 25, 2020, 12:06:17 AM
I will not recommend to buy the dip as this is not the ordinary situation it is something very big and devastating. So what we all should do is wait and watch and keep track of news so that if there is any considerable positive thing happen then we should buy but buying now would be a big gamble.

If you buy in the dip you already in profit right now. Why so much afraid of SEC if you know they can easily move to other country and continue it's service there. It's just a one country regulations and many people thinking it will be the end no it will not . If you follow XRP you will find many big achievement they do for the past year not only that they have many big company partners which is not located in US . So even they ban XRP it can survive in other countries where most people are looking for easy transferring money like remittances and XRP have that option. The big community of XRP is not came from US but in Asian.
40  Economy / Speculation / Re: How will Bitcoin trend at this time? on: December 24, 2020, 09:32:36 PM
It is Chistmas Eve and Bitcoin didn't move. If in the previous 11 Christmas price was down for Bitcoin in this day then it is a serious indicator. Maybe this time with travel restricted and many lockdowns in effect no whale will care to dump Bitcoin on Christmas as there won't be a reason either. What to do with the fiat since they won't be going anywhere.

This is the possible scenario whales never dump it because they never need to celebrate holiday with too much money and they will stay at home like other normal people do. So no reason for them for selling large supply to the market they can do it later, base on what I noticed in price it's looks like they are going to break 25k price so selling it now is not a great idea.
