S3+ and S1 Upgrade kit are for sales

Only Available at http://www.bitmaintech.com

Bitmain now announce the S3+ which is a revised version of S3 running stably at 453GH/s (frequency=225 MHz), while consumes 355 Watt power at the wall. Most of miners will be able to run up to 500GH/s but not guaranteed.

S3+ for sales shipping starts on September 20th or earlier

S3 is a great success product and almost sold out. The sale of S3+ is 0.58 BTC each including the international shipping, which starts on September 20th, 2014 or earlier. Sales open in the Beijing Time tonight 22:00 (UCT+8:00 Time Zone).

We strongly believe it is best choice of mining bitcoin for both the mining farm and the home miners.

S3+ Specifications:
Hash Rate: 453 GH/s±5% with great OC potential
Power Consumption: 355 Watt at the wall
Power Efficiency: 0.78J/GH on wall
Power Supply: 12V DC

S1 Upgrade Kit for sales shipping starts on September 20th or earlier

The sale of S1 Upgrade Kit is 0.46 BTC each including international shipping, which starts on September 20th or earlier. Sales open in the Beijing Time tonight 22:00 (UCT+8:00 Time Zone).

S1 Upgrade Kit allows global loyal customers who own S1 to spend the cheapest cost to achieve the best performance: Used S1 will be upgraded to 453 GH/s while consumes only 355 Watt power at the wall.

The time of deployment is a significant factor in the global mining market. The design for heat sink of S1 is customized but compatible with the hashing board of S3. Hence we can finalize the S1 upgrade solution by a surprising speed, to maximize the mining life time for used S1 for each end-customer.

Here customers will get a “yes” for the question that can we recycle the used stuffs from used S1: control board, heat sink, fan, holder… Remove and Replace two units of hash boards and one unit of adapter board only.

S1 Upgrade Kit includes:
1.   2 units of Hash boards which will be mounted with mini customized heat sink

1)   S1 Upgrade Kit is designed for customers who own S1. Please be careful to place an order before you are sure you have or will have S1 in hands.
2)   S1 Upgrade Kit is nonrefundable after purchase.

Is SEPTEMBER a mistake? I thought Bitmain didn't do pre-orders. That date is over a month in the future.
11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 17, 2014, 11:03:23 PM
Do they blow a lot of heat? I guess all ASICs do...

I don't have a thermal probe handy, but they certainly run cooler than a stock S1. Front and Rear fan speed hover at about 2000rpm. Near silent operation. The air coming out of the rear of the unit is only mildly warm, similar to an under-volted S1.

ssh username and password is "root" and "root" (same as S1)

New options in the miner configuration page allow control of the Pool Management Strategy for CGminer:

Nice. What's the PSU and hashrate?

The 2 S3's are running off of an Enermax 1000W (ERV1000EWT-G) PSU I pulled out of one of my S2's. Each S3 is averaging 440Gh/s (+/- 5Gh/s)
13  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 17, 2014, 09:38:32 PM
I was order #8 in batch 1. Received all 4 S3's today.

Did some power measurements for those who might be curious. Kill-a-watt is showing power draw at the wall for two S3's as they come out of the box.

14  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Antminer S1 - 0.2btc on: July 09, 2014, 10:47:43 PM
I have 4 voltage modified S1's available I'd let go at .22 each if you're covering shipping. These had potentiometers added so you can restore to stock value if desired. As is each hashes between 140-150 at the pool and draws 190-210 watts. You can easily run all 4 on a good 1000W PSU.

So my order of the Silverfish arrived today 7/7/2014. We had a small hiccup with the order process, but nothing Zighash and I weren't able to resolve.

The miner is in great shape and up and running. Sfminer has two varieties of the silverfish on the streets now, and the one I received from Zighash has the twin 80mm fans. It is about 2/3 the width of the other model floating around which uses a single hi-speed 120mm fan. Hash rate is better than or as expected with the miner currently pushing 29Mh/s on the pool.

Setup is simple, the software for these miners uses UDP ports so if you have problems, check your firewall settings. On power up the miner was instantly recognized and after about 5 minutes of warm up, it was up and running at full speed.

Very securely packaged. Double boxed with heavy foam inserts to keep anything from shifting around and to prevent the box from pushing inwards on the circuit cards in the case of an impact.

16  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Scrypt Asic Silverfish 28 Mh/s $1999.99 IN STOCK zoomhash.com on: July 04, 2014, 12:23:12 AM
Ordered 6/29, Received 7/3

Miner was very well packaged. Double boxed and securely packed with foam.

Haven't check power at the wall yet, but estimate 450-500 watts.

Hash rate varies by pool, not necessarily the miner... on some of the smaller pools, the device fluctuates between 24-28Mh/s on the bigger faster pools performance is more steady.

The fan is loud. Despite the pictures posted depicting 2 stacked 80mm fans, mine arrived with a single high rpm 120mm which is not excessively loud, but certainly in the 50-55db range.

First impression is that the cooling solution can be improved, so I'll be working to quiet it down. There's a picture showing the silver fish along side a S1 from Bitmain.

Very pleased with the device's performance.

Software support is limited. There is no Linux software that I'm aware of to interface with this device. I don't use windows unless absolutely necessary, so my solution was to run the SFminer software
from within a WIN7 image on Virtualbox which seems to do just fine.

Another excellent transaction with Zoomhash. Thanks Michael!

EDIT: After some further investigation, I discovered the SFminer software uses UDP ports 49168 and 49169 to communicate with the miners. Initially I had these ports blocked. After unblocking the ports, the SFminer software runs fine using WINE on Lubuntu 14.04.

That is an amazingly well designed unit. I wish you'd have had those in January when I bought my first 10 S1's.

In the future, I would seriously recommend advising customers to expect lead time in shipment rather than simply state "In Stock" which implies same or next day shipping.

Perhaps you could change to "Ships within XX hours" or "Ships within X days", or add a statement of "x number of days processing before each shipment" to avoid misinterpretation by future customers.
19  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Silverfish 28 Mh/s $2,175 IN STOCK FREE SHIPPING *PAYPAL ACCEPTED* ZigHash.com on: July 03, 2014, 01:54:54 AM
July 2nd now. Still no tracking number (despite being "In Stock")

Paypal Fraud is not to be taken lightly Elaramus. Especially from a "Full Member". We have shipped out your item, DHL shipping agents can take up to 2 days to issue tracking numbers. I believe you are upset because a day after you ordered another competitor lowered pricing. I am not affiliated with that competitor therefore I cannot refund you the difference. I would have no problem refunding your order, but the package is in transit to you. Filing a dispute with Paypal can unfortunately not make DHL give me a tracking number any faster. Sellers beware.
If you consider this fraud, then post a tracking number.

Let me quote you, "DHL shipping agents can take up to 2 days to issue tracking numbers."

This order was placed over 72 hours ago. And today you say yet another 24 hours for tracking information.
