well, i've heard nothing from AMT. they wont return emails now. i'm sick of these guys and wish i had just ordered from someone else. are they talking to anyone at all?
Clenell, I feel for you, I watched your avid support throughout this thread, and it's disheartening to see your change in mindset.. But I know exactly how you feel: I tried to warn people off with my earliest posts. I'm pretty sure I was one of their earliest orders (#399), and while I let $2400 sit waiting for something to ship (a 192Gh unit which didn't) I missed out on the October batch of KNC Jupiters which would have been my second choice for a purchase at the time. I took my refund after the 30 day wait and ran. I've bought quite a few miners since then without issue: November Jupiter, Antminers, Avalon Gen2, Chili's... and yes even 4 BFL Black Friday Jalapenos (which shipped late, but before AMT's products started to roll out -- they we're supposed to be "In stock for immediate delivery" and I received them after Christmas) I would advise anyone considering an AMT miner to stay away until this company gets it's act together. And for the record, I think it's just damn wrong to send a free unit to anyone while paid customers are waiting.

So I just noticed these aren't shipping with power supplies, request a picture of the power distribution board(s) so I know what I need to buy for a power supply.

Have agreed with the supplier if we get over 15 orders before china close for new year we can get price at 2000USD per unit inc shipping via DHL
This is for V1 200Gh/s
Thanks
I'm in the market for another 200Gh/s gen 2 unit. Crover, how are you doing on the 15 order tally? What is the fallback plan if you do not reach 15 units? Already asked previously, I have bitcoin ready, how much for the 200GH/s, and once paid, how long to get to US via DHL Express?

So Bhosted and I are in cohoots in this bitcoin mining undertaking.... I purchased 2 of these on 1/6 and as stated previously, they arrived today. The shipping wasn't so great, one of the boxes was obviously damaged during shipment. The case was bent, and when we powered it up, the TPlink router inside was dead. This wasn't a total loss. You can open the case on these things and connect to a computer directly using usb. I was successful using the latest build of cgminer from Github (3-10-0) and the following in my config --avalon-options 115200:16:10:D:1400:55 it takes a few seconds for cgminer to recognize the device, but both blades came up and are happily hashing above 210Gh/s... thought I'd put that out there for anyone who experiences a dead router @BTmine, when you ship my next batch of miners, please include a replacement TPlink router.

Do the latest versions of bfgminer / cgminer natively support avalon gen2 for direct connect via usb? Anyone have typical avalon-options entry for the gen2 boards? When I try to set freq to 1400, I get error message saying must be between 256-1024
Answer my own question, yes the latest cgminer supports gen 2.... I purchased a BTmine V1 in the group buy thread, and the TPlink included was DOA. I was able to get the blades up and running at 220Gh/s by connecting the controller board directly to a pc running Linux and running cgminer using --avalon-options 115200:16:10:D:1500:55

Lightfoot, congrats on making it to 8 chips!!! How many chips have you successfully reballed?

I have 4 9 Gh/s+ Jallys. I would ship them to you with or without escrow for .9. Can provide pictures in a few hours... not at my location (they're hosted with my other mining gear). I have a screen shot of their output on the hacking Jalapeno thread. 2 are running at 9+ Gh/s, the other 2 are pushing 11+. They've been opened, thermal compound replaced and fans flipped for better cooling, but are otherwise pristine. Want to sell all 4 at once as that's how they were shipped to me (in one box). Let me know if you're interested. I also have a chili that I would sell for .55 Not interested in shipping these outside of USA... too expensive.

any news about "will be shipped 1/8/2014" status? are they shipped? and what about tracking?
Waiting on my tracking that was promised "by tonight" (was told shipment was yesterday). So hopefully will be able to report I've received tracking info within the next 8 hours. Same here. Order placed on 6 January.

Wondering about the power and noise questions also. How loud are they? What is the actual power draw watts, amps, volts?
+1 What is the power draw at the wall? I already know these things are loud as jet engines during takeoff.

@Delarock,
I just noticed this thread and wanted to say I'm sorry you were manipulated by a lazy no good worthless mother f!@#$r who obviously doesn't care about the long term health of bitcoin as a viable medium of exchange. Idiots like that are helping to hinder mainstream acceptance of this currency.
I'm hoping that that wasn't the only Jally you had a line on for the chips you just picked up. If it was (I believe in karma as well) I wasn't really ready to sell my Jallys, but I will offer one of the 4 I picked up on Black Friday at the same price, so you're not left hanging in the wind. I've got photos of the output on the hacking thread and it would be a 3 chip vice a 2 chip Jally, but other than that it's brand new and has been crunching since the day I bought it without issue. If you read the other thread, you'll know I opened it, replaced the thermal compound and flipped the fan for better cooling.
Note: This offer is good for Delarock only as he just picked up some raw BFL chips from me & I don't like to see people getting screwed. Earliest I could ship it would be late tomorrow and I'll have to use a different box then what it came in, because I received all 4 of the Black Friday Jally's in one box... I do still have a one unit Jally box (from the one I blew up) so it will be in a original BFL box. If you decide to do this, I'd ask you cover shipping costs.
Anyway, Sorry you got taken by an A$$hole. Let me know if you want one.... If you look at the hacking thread, it would be one of the 9.9-10ish Jallys, not the 12. The 12's are the 2 chip ones I added a chip to, and the 9.9-10's are the ones I received with 3 chips in place already. So aside from the thermal compound and fan flip, you'd be receiving a pristine unit.

That's why I have been recommending putting a 7 amp fuse in series with your jally when running it on 300-800 watt supplies. 12 volts at 7 amps will do minor things. 12 volts at 50 amps will do a bit more.... Despite my intentions to do so, I didn't (install a fuse) and thats exactly what happened to the board coming your way.

Gents, Just got back from the Post Office. You should be looking for a small flat rate box in about two days. Tracking should be updated to show acceptance. Many thanks for working this out... now I need to find a new chip to play with (KNC perhaps? Minion? Bitmine?)

I pulled a really late one last night and didn't turn in until after 4. Just got up. Confirm receipt of the .2, I'm on my way to Uncle Sam's Pony Express to get your chips on their way. (Need coffee badly)
