Bitcoin gold is set to go live this weekend. In a new blog post, the developers behind the fork of the bitcoin blockchain said that they would release a formal software client for download at 7:00 PM UTC on Nov. 12. Originally set for a public launch on Nov. 1, the project is backed by LightningASIC, a seller of mining hardware based in Hong Kong, as well as a community of relatively unknown developers. Were thrilled to announce a start date to the community:
November 12, 2017 7:00 PM (19:00 UTC)
At this point, we will provide the Bitcoin Gold full node client download on our website. The BTG blockchain will officially be live, with blocks mined openly by users and pools from all around the world.
Wallets and exchanges will be able to process deposits, withdrawals and trades (as soon as they are ready). This is the culmination of months of hard work, which have led to many changes and improvements, including:
Equihash PoW change
Implementation of full Replay Protection (BIP143 SIGHASH) (protecting the community from attacks)
Implementation of a Unique G and A prefixed Address Format (avoiding accidental coin transactions to incorrect destinations)
Refinement of the per-block difficulty adjustment algorithm (to better respond to dynamic changes in hashing power)
The usual minor tweaks, bug fixes, and improvements
Successful mining on several generations of Public Testnet
Network & pool integration
We are extremely grateful for the community around the world who have been contributing hash power to our testnets; besides patiently testing their own mining process, they allow exchanges, pools, wallet developers, and all other service operators to implement and test their support of BTG so that the Bitcoin Gold community can have a full suite of services at launch time. I am also curious if there is a minimum capital in presale.
But as what I understand there is no minimum capital as long as you have amount to contribute the you will be in.
I'm hoping that they will give concrete information with regards to this concern as it will lead the investors to confusion.

From what I understand, this is similar to the PSE (Philippine Stock Exchange) and Forex wherein individuals invest. Am I correct? And besides of receiving tokens and being a shareholder of the company, do we get tools that would help us in investing in trade.io? What else could be the benefits that an investor would get?
They have similarities but their only difference is that we are dependent in this project unlike Forex and PSE that their are many companies or assets that we can choose to invest. |

There is a big possibility that it will happen as of writing the bitcoin is already 7371 USD. It raises silmutaneously for a short period of time and my bet is yes it will reach to 8k USD per bitcoin. |

Total token to distribute is 75% (750mln) tokens
First stage is 25% (250mln) tokens.
Second stage is 50% (500mln) tokens.
The rest will be reserved for the devs.
In the first stage 100% bonus is still active until they will reach their target.

But there are no concrete answer yet from the devs if how long is 100% bonus will last.

I missed the airdrop too bad , is there any bounty like social media bounty , so that i can have some egold when the ICO ends.
Please note that we aren't running an ICO. There may be social media programs in the near future though so keep updated with our thread! I think social media will help the project grow and be well known, it will help the project succeed.
