Multipool sells their coins cheap; ecc will be POS soon.
Sadly, the price is going down. It even hit 2 satoshi. I predicted that the price will possibly hit 1-2 satoshi as the serious cryptocoin environment and also the huge amount of ECC. But I'm still optimistic on the ECC future as it has a great dev and a strong community support. Actually this is good time, an opportunity to accumulate more coins while price is cheap. I don't think so... Considering the huge amount (50bil, right) and the normal marketcap of altcoins, the future price can even hit 1 satoshi before it can pump. Obviously, this is not good time to buy in. And there is still a long way for ecc to grow up with the effort of the whole community. It's just my personl opinion. Noted with your personal opinion, let's check the price again after the POW in 2-3 weeks. Reposting this post while ECC price was only 2 satoshi, told you it was good time to buy.

Good job guys, I hope you have another group buy to offer in the future.

Dev, what is the next thing that is gonna be done with coin... Have u taken multipool into consideration or anything else that will make us visit the stars? mined blocks are only 1SHA/block, no point mining it or adding it to a multipool. I'll forward my previous minting society proposal to (dev)cryptogir now. so it went from 1OOOO to ONE? =) waaaat? Because it's POS now, what neverminds17 means the multipool for POS coin is mining other altcoins and buy SHAcoin, this will help to pump the price.

actually ipominer.com is mining all day ecc..wether is profitable or not... its not a multipool... its an ecc pool!!
Maybe they fall in love with ECC girl that's why :-) To Hostmaster, I Encrypted my wallet and have couple questions regarding that matter. 1. When I click the unlock button and close the wallet, will I still be able to mint ? 2. When I reopen the wallet it automatically locks. Is there a way to permanently unlock the wallet so that it won't lock and stop the minting process every time the wallet is reopened ? 1. No. You have to have your wallet open in order to mint pos blocks 2. No. If you want your wallet unlock all the time, then don't encrypt it you can try to use console at Debug window, click Console type walletpassphrase WALLETsPASSWORD 3600 true 3600 = 1 hour you can try this not sure if works use 0 to make it 10 hours... Thanks for the quick answer Hostmaster. One last question. Is there a way to permanently decrypt a wallet ? I don't think there is an easy route for this.. Here is what you could do. If you decide to do this.. please do so at your own risk. 1) Close ECCoin wallet. 2) Find wallet.dat (default location is C:\Users\"YOUR USER"\AppData\Roaming\ECCoin). 3) Rename it to wallet.old 4) Launch wallet. 5) Copy the address from this new and empty wallet. 6) Close wallet. 7) Rename (new) wallet.dat to wallet.new Rename wallet.old to wallet.dat 9) Launch wallet. 10) Send all your ECCoins to the copied address from new wallet. 11) Close wallet. 12) Rename wallet.dat to wallet.old 13) Rename wallet.new to wallet.dat 14) Launch wallet. 15) Enjoy your new and unecrypted wallet with your previous balance (keep in mind that you won't be able to use your old address of course) In a few words, you are transferring your balance to a brand new wallet. Should take you 3-5 minutes maybe Why would you like to have it decrypted anyway? I find the new "unlock" button quite convenient or, if he need the same address, -get the private key of the address (dumpprivkey <address>) - close the wallet qt - rename the wallet.dat to wallet.old - open wallet qt again, this will create a new wallet.dat - then import your private key (importprivkey <privatekey>)

Let's say dividends are 0.0002 BTC per share per month, how would that compare to the share price?
As a rough guide (for a successful ACtM) share price will settle at a ratio of between 4:1 and 10:1 with the annualised dividend. So between 0.0096 and 0.024. I'll keep my fingers crossed for that.

Tyrion, Any plans on offering new group buy for gridseed and hosted it? Scrypt coins have more stable difficulty and much profitable to mine, we can hook to a multipool and pay in bitcoin.
I cannot see how anybody can make a profit by mining with Gridseed unit (at the currently price for the hardware). If KnC can deliver the Titan as scheduled it will outperform the gridseed insanely (in terms of MHash/$). Gridseed is 350 KHash/s for aproximate 100$, Knc is 250 MHash/s for 10k$. Titan can potentially make a profit, but there are many variables and uncertainties to consider. Titan is Q2/Q3 delivery and that time Gridseed MHs price will be lower and can be same price as Titan. Advantage of Gridseed is you can mine it today. And also scrypt coins difficulty are not increasing constantly, because there are new scrypt coins every week that competes in mining, some scrypt coins are more lower difficulty compare from its last months, thus scrypt mining is profitable long term.

The coin age is based on date it was last moved or minted.
If you want to manage coins only for minting and for spending, you need a separate wallet for each (from different OS or PC)

Ty from xtremedice.com to the ECC community Bank: 13,208,707.24905834 Rolls: 2,048,457 Wagered ECC: 235,935,001.84517023 I think people liked this game. Yeah, pretty nice dice game, I just invested 10M there, so far so good.

I became a member of this forum about 3 years ago although I haven't post so many I have been watching the development of the CryptoCurrency free distribution is a good idea I think I don't like mining since I got no time and don't want to waste energy so I will be exciting if I can get some CommunityCoin and I am curious what will happen in the future good luck to this coin thanks! If you had time then you should be a millionaire now.

Can i ask a noob question? The multipool will be used when the POS arrives? or it will mine different coins like other multipools? I hope before PoS arrives we can start multipool paying with ECC, we can mine now, (some testers seen it) but can't pay reward system not ready also, we have plans to establish internal exchange system. We use our own technology and system (complex usage of several systems) i believe it's better than other current multipools who mines other cryptos. When PoS starts we mine only PoW cryptos which is most profitable according to our internal profit algo. So community can mine ECC after pos. If they keep mining with our pool. We expect increasing prices in the future. Because we sell BTC buy ECC. And this will create extra momentum when other miners see growing prices more miners will drop and prices more up.This plan only for miners. We will focus on global area, complete translations, push more marketing there, getting more shops and associations. +1 Awesome!

Better buy now while it's still cheap.

Those messages who promotes %51 attack. Other insincere messages deleted by me and keep me deleted. Bitcoin and all cryptos are not perfect they are "open source" projects. You no need code knowledge to hack a Crypto. (I'll not say speak about this) Also ECC is at PoW period. We have enough miners for verifications and less mean to target attacks. So there is not any problem here! If the matter is about MINT and it's bad codes, please share the trouble there and instead of promoting this bla bla, repair it and help MINT fix the issue. Speaking about these matters not helping growing cryto.
This is ECC thread. Our goals is different. Moreover i have not heard any PoS crytos hacked. Also ECC has nothing to get attack. If there any insane trying to hack our network. All i can say it's bad luck for all planet. We are here to free people also him from several problems.
+1 Good point.

Now it works! Thanks!
