1961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: December 09, 2023, 07:57:59 AM
If using 1% is enough to enjoy gambling then it will not be a problem because 1% is a small amount and is not too risky if used for gambling. The most important thing is to set 1% and be satisfied with it, don't let it happen. especially if you can't afford to lose more than 1% of your money because it will pose a big risk where you will chase losses.
By using 1%, a very small amount of your total income, of course you don't expect to make a profit from gambling because in my opinion 1% is a small amount if you want to make a profit, but the most important thing is whatever the result is, you can accept it and enjoy it as entertainment.
Do gambling with 1% will definitely run out quickly if you do one gaming session and then you can enjoy the rest of the day which is more useful than having to think about gambling continuously.
It's okay if you only use a small amount to gamble rather than the possibility of losing more money while gambling. We must avoid losing a lot of money from gambling and if 1% is an amount we can afford, we must still use that percentage to allocate funds to gambling. We don't need to add a larger amount of money because that could result in greater losses. Taking a 1% risk of losing money is enough for people to enjoy gambling as entertainment because they don't have to gamble for too long, which can make them lose control of themselves. We do not seek profit from gambling but only seek pleasure from gambling so that if we cannot win, we must be able to accept it and not chase bigger wins. And if they also don't have a gambling addiction problem, they should still use that allocated fund so they can also avoid big losses.
1962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for newbies on: December 09, 2023, 07:36:25 AM
Hello everyone, as you can see I'm new here, I'm looking for recommendations for a game to bet some money that I don't mind losing, I would like recommendations and if possible a recommendation for somewhere that teaches how to play. Thank you very much. Grin

Have you never gambled at all, if yes! then just choose sports betting such as football or cricket or something else related to sports for you to try playing at the start, casino games and card games are actually very good to try but as a newbie, you have to for the time being you can focus on just 1 type of betting game, don't explore them all, you will only make yourself down and lose money if you try all types of gambling games, so just focus on 1.
He should already have a choice of gambling games that he wants to play because the many gambling games available in each casino will make someone confused about choosing a gambling game. If he knows sports well, he can choose sports betting to start gambling. He may be able to win from sports betting but he must also remember that he should use less money and only use the money he can afford so that if he loses, he does not lose a lot of money. For a beginner, slot games can give him pleasure but it all comes back to what he wants to play.
1963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things you should always avoid while gambling ? on: December 09, 2023, 06:59:39 AM
Gamblers should easily avoid taking loans while gambling because it gets too difficult along the line when their payment is due. They have nothing to gain out of it, as only a few would win big using borrowed money. The idea isn't acceptable. If the need to gamble insists, they can easily play the demo mode. Chasing loss is becoming common amongst gamblers and the number of gamblers who make this mistake, fail to figure out how to stop it. Because they get tired when the money in their bankroll gets exhausted. A lot more things to avoid while gambling, include; unlimited gambling sessions, lack of self-control, not knowing when to stop, expecting quick money, etc. Those who gamble every single time, don't perform well in gambling. As their brain isn't settled, it keeps getting worked out till the gambler is stressed to the extent of not being able to control himself. Putting lots of load on the brain derails a good performance of the brain. Such players also forget about their daily activities, financial responsibilities, and hobbies. All-day gambling, apart from the waste of funds, contributes to addiction. The gambler rarely goes out to discuss with humans; friends or family. Soon the person can't get himself out of the developed habit. They start to struggle with changing themselves.

Knowing when to stop gambling is more like giving ourselves a few days or weeks' break from gambling. Recovering with our inner selves, calculating how much was spent in gambling, and taking a full rest, is crucial in reviving a gambler's sense of making good predictions. Nothing dwindles the life of a gambler like not being able to stop. I prefer the gambling strategy which requires a gambler to gamble for 4 days, then rest for at least 2 days before going back to gamble. Then while on vacation we can gamble for a few months and then rest for another 2 weeks. Preparing the mind for a better gambling session. However, whenever we fail to practice these things, the brain gets so worked up that, the gambler gets confused about his new development. But, it then seems like an involuntary action, where the gambler is aware of his inabilities, but can't help it. Even when offered help, he can get offensive and blame his helper. It has a huge bad psychological effect on the player. Opening up would be his worst struggle. Battling with the therapist, and resisting therapy sessions. What would become of such a gambler if his actions were fueled initially, by borrowed money? wouldn't that be a double trouble? Gambling responsibly is excellent for us all. Everyone should stay clear of borrowing money to gamble. It isn't worth the mental disorder walking behind it.
If they feel that their need to gamble is urgent, it means they have become seriously addicted to gambling because gambling is just for entertainment. It is not an activity that must be fulfilled immediately. If there are people who say things like that, they should be able to check themselves because it seems that they have a gambling addiction so they should really reduce their gambling activities for a while and divert their minds from gambling by doing other things. Regardless of using borrowed money or their own money, if there is a strong desire to gamble at a moment's notice that they cannot avoid, it is clearly a sign that they are addicted to gambling. Someone who is not addicted to gambling can always divert their mind to other things so that they do not feel that gambling is something urgent. They understand that there are other more urgent things to do and that is not gambling because, for them, they can gamble at any time and it is not a primary need. People who can use gambling as entertainment will not think about gambling too often because they want to avoid the problems that have happened to other people in gambling. They will also always be careful when gambling and the most important thing is that they always avoid gambling excessively so they won't get into any problems.

People who have used gambling correctly can know when they should stop gambling and leave gambling for a while. They would prefer other things to do rather than just gambling because they realize that only by doing other things can they avoid thinking about gambling. Especially if they are so busy with their daily routine that they won't want to spend their time gambling. Gambling for them is just an activity that doesn't need to be done every day or too often because if they lose self-control, they will get deeper into gambling without being able to stop gambling easily. We can only continue to try to fight the urge or desire to gamble so that we will not be interested in gambling even though we have already gambled several hours before. We will always remember that by playing enough gambling, we can avoid the problem of losing money at the gambling table and also avoid the biggest problem that many gamblers have experienced where they experience a gambling addiction that is difficult to cure.
1964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: December 09, 2023, 06:38:36 AM
Well it may be , we as players always see the possibility that others and even ourselves can learn , but things are quite obvious for some novices who sometimes do not pay attention, in fact it is a very common act that novices do not do. In this case , Even the people who are in any event do not pay attention, there is always the possibility of a novice saying that it will not work out that way for them, so they listen , they can read about the cases that have happened to others, and they will pay attention. Ignore, then these types of things are what we Should see because most of them can be seen as something that Affects them, then Newbies in the casino are something else , they Sometimes don't want to learn from what happens to newbies , They just go and play and get their own experiences, that's why we are Always going to have the best options to Choose from when we Actually get the experience of others to be able to take more learning.

Of course, the attitude of the majority of newbies is not the Only goal ,there are some that if they pay the corresponding attention to be Able to Generate more learning and thus not lose so much money in a casino, it is what should be done normally , I personally have never seen the Forum before entering a casino, because I didn't know about it, but it would have been very Useful to me, the threads that are always there give very Valuable advice , in this Order of ideas , sometimes the Experiences of others are somewhat undervalued, especially by newbies It is for this Reason that we must value each Experience, each advice that some players in the Forum give , most of them have a lot of experience and I am of what they Believe that experience is that one should learn , I am like that , Because I know that The tips are to be Able to do things Better , and so you will not lose any money , or at Least Reduce the option of Losing that is Important in a casino.
If someone doesn't want to learn from other people's experiences because they are too lazy to learn from them, they will experience mistakes that can be worse than those experienced by other people because they don't have the knowledge or ways that can actually be learned from other people's experiences. They will also find it difficult to find ways to solve the problem, so they cannot see that there is actually a way to solve it. They will feel that nothing they do can solve the problem so they decide to do something that could end up making other, even worse mistakes. But if they are willing to learn from other people's experiences, especially senior gamblers, they can see that if they were in the same situation, they could think of steps to take to get out of a difficult situation. They can overcome problems well without causing other problems this can increase their ability to identify problems that might come their way.

The majority of novice gamblers may not have enough experience and knowledge in gambling. But if they are willing to learn more, especially from other gamblers who often share their stories, they will find something useful for them. They will not experience problems like other gamblers because at least they can overcome them before the problem becomes bigger. In playing gambling, we need to learn more, especially to control ourselves well because in gambling, there will be a lot of temptations which, if we don't want to learn, will make it difficult for us to overcome them. Every gambler will definitely be faced with a difficult situation and it depends on the knowledge of each gambler so that he can solve the problem or whether he will have more problems. That is why, if novice gamblers are willing to learn from other people, they can definitely increase their knowledge in gambling and already know what to do if they get something from gambling. They also will not act hastily, especially in deciding something, because they will look at everything before deciding.
1965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: December 09, 2023, 06:18:15 AM
People who are easily emotional or cannot think clearly may not consider the decisions they will make, they hastily decide on something and do it without thinking about others such as the risks that will occur. Yes, I have seen people who lose self-control when gambling, and this makes them lose a lot of money they have.

There are only a few people who can control themselves in gambling, and they are people who have gambling limits and already know the meaning of gambling where gambling is only for entertainment not to make money or profit, so they play naturally because it is accompanied by good self-control. I think those who gamble out of control will never feel satisfied with the winnings they get, even if they have won they will not stop because of unresolved curiosity. So they will continue gambling no matter how often they lose.
Of course, they won't be able to think clearly about everything because they are in a hurry so there is a possibility that they will make bad decisions. They must be able to calm themselves first before making a decision and be able to see what is around them before making a decision. These are the people who can maintain control when gambling and will not lose a lot of money.

Yes, few people are truly able to control themselves in gambling, while others will still sink into gambling and have difficulty getting out of gambling. They need a longer time to get out of gambling because they cannot control themselves well. It is true that they will never be satisfied with the victory they have achieved but will try to pursue more wins. But if they can restrain themselves while gambling, they will not lose a lot of money from gambling and they can even enjoy their gambling time well. That is why we must be able to use gambling as well as possible so that we will not experience any problems and can also get pleasure from playing gambling. Just let people who still like gambling play without restrictions because they will be the ones to bear it later.
1966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: December 09, 2023, 05:51:15 AM
Well, society, how can we fit certain entertainments into a society that we see doesn't even know which direction they are going or which direction they are following? Right now society is so lost that they don't know what they want, the more conservative societies like before? There are hardly any of those anymore, well in some pubelso of the countries it may be that some of the customs of many are discussed, but personally, I feel that the societies do not contribute much in almost nothing, perhaps the culture of some places They continue to be maintained and based on this, it can be concluded that societies contribute something, especially to make a society like a type of activity or business? That's something that doesn't agree with me at least, because in societies whether or not they accept an activity, they still have to accept it on their own, and societies don't give them much importance, now the problem is for governments to like them so that they can give the corresponding permits and thus be able to generate better sustainable development than what can be given.

Casinos for societies in which they are more conservative, are not very well regarded, because they believe that everyone who is in a casino will become an addict without a doubt, and that is a mistake, societies of that style think those things are so erroneous, but I think it is due to a lack of learning or because they are not enlightened, because it is known that a casino is, above all, a company, a business, which like everyone else also needs to have its profits and that is something that they They don't understand it, in this other way of saying if societies understood that and that a casino is a source of fun for adults, well it's another thing, that the adults who go there are not addicts, it's that they have to be people. responsible for their actions and what they may generate there, because he who is irresponsible and loses, it is known that he will have less money, but he who gambles by controlling his money or the money he is destined to lose, well, it is something else.
It will depend on each community in each country. They will determine whether they can accept an activity or reject it. But most people will probably reject gambling in their environment because they have seen what impact it can have on someone who uses gambling as a way to make money. But it is different if someone can use gambling as a way to get entertainment so that they will not experience any impact from gambling. As for the government, they will look at many things before allowing gambling in their country and if they see that the impact is already big, maybe they will prohibit gambling from being used as a way to make money. The community contributes to many things, and they will be a filter for everything that enters their environment. If they see that there is no negative impact or only a small negative impact but it can still be overcome, they may accept it. But if not, they will absolutely ban it from their environment.

But the public has seen what happens to someone who often gambles at a physical casino, where that person will gamble more often than doing other things that can benefit them. People who can accept gambling and always warn people who come to casinos to take care of themselves really take precautions against their people so that they don't experience problems or become addicted to gambling. They don't want to see their people become addicted to gambling while they have daily needs that must be met. The public knows that casinos are a business where people are free to use gambling for fun and the public can allow them to come and have fun. But the reality is that there will be more people who will become addicted to gambling if they cannot gamble within limits, especially since most people have seen this happen in several other places. The public knows that gambling is an activity carried out by adults but they also know that even though these people are adults, they are also susceptible to gambling addiction. Hence, the public really warns everyone to be careful with gambling addiction.
1967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot games are a waste of time and money (most of the time) on: December 09, 2023, 05:21:30 AM
It seems that every gambler realizes that the chances of winning are smaller than losing because of course they have experienced more losses than wins, but they are tempted by the opportunities that exist and feel pleasure in every spin so that it is difficult to think well and control themselves.
In sports betting, perhaps all gamblers can bet casually because they tend to bet on sports they like and on certain players or teams, but when it comes to games especially slots, the situation will be very different.
Slot games provide adrenaline as well as quite satisfying fun, even each round will take place more quickly and each round will consume certain amount of money placed on the bet so it will be more wasteful.
And what worse, slot games are games that have an addictive effect, especially if you fail to get big multiplier or scatter, then curiosity is higher and playing can take longer.
The average gambler who likes playing slots definitely experiences lot of losses but they also win, but the winnings are only small return on what they have lost.
And my advice if you want to play slots is that you really need to be able to determine the right time to stop and maintain financial limits because this game can really cost you any amount of money.
I love playing slots but I have my own limits to stay safe and not go too far in experiencing losses.

If the initial goal is to make money, then it is appropriate to suggest investing because investing, apart from making money, can also be form of saving for the future.
But good investment is long term and in the long term we can get very large profits.
It just that we have to be smart in choosing investment assets and have to be really strong in saving them because there will definitely be ups and downs in value and we can't be afraid or fooled if they go down and then sell them because for every decrease in value there will definitely be bigger increase.
Gamblers should realize that their chances of winning are no greater than their chances of losing. They may experience losses more often than wins because gambling will not always give them a win. If they could realize that fact, they would not try hard to win but would only gamble just for the fun of it. They can also think clearly that if they gamble casually, they will not experience any problems and can use gambling as a way to get pleasure. In sports betting, they must have good analytical skills so that they can find a team that can win. And if it is a slot game, they cannot hope to win because slot games require luck. But all gambling games give people a sensation of pleasure that can make them lose control and forget to stop gambling. They just want to spend their time gambling without wanting to do other things that have become routine so it makes everything messy and they can't take care of themselves well because they are already immersed in gambling.

They should stay away from the thought of making money from gambling because it will not be easy and the chances may be very small. Instead of losing more money to make money from gambling, they should use gambling as it is so that they don't lose their money and maybe it can give them the opportunity to make a win because luck comes. They should choose to invest rather than gamble, where if they choose the right investment, they can make big profits in the future.
1968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed or risk on: December 09, 2023, 04:36:33 AM
They may be very good at using the internet, which is both good and bad. We know that the draw of the internet can feed greed, which is a constant enemy that lurks in the background. They've danced with loss; the tune is well known. So, self-control isnt just a good thing; its their shield. Their poker experience? A double bluff. It does teach you to be strong, but it also tries to trick you into thinking it will be easy to win.

Think about this: their new links, a web of unseen allies, may offer more than just support. Could they be the one's who decide who wins this game of skill and chance? We guess, but what secrets might they have? This mysterious information and these hidden ties are still parts of a puzzle we havent fully figured out.

We have to ask ourselves, though, if their return to gambling is a success or a dangerous fall back into old habits. Time and their ability to control themselves are the only things that will show them what this bet is really about.
If they think that winning will be easy, they are wrong because if it is a game of poker, there must be a lot of people who have become experts at playing poker and they have already beaten a lot of people. They can indeed learn from the internet, which provides many lessons about how to gamble, but they also have to learn about self-control when gambling. Self-control will protect them when gambling so that they don't spend too much money and can also limit their time gambling.

We will not know what or who has supported them so that they can rise from their previous downturn and turn their situation around for the better. But they proved it to us by managing to win many victories that perhaps only a few people could get. We also don't need to think too much about it. Let it be their secret and we should focus on maintaining our control. After all, we don't use gambling as a way to make money so we don't need to bother looking for it.

The important thing is that we stick to our goal of gambling so that we are not too affected by what is happening around us. They may be able to achieve that success with a lot of effort, but for us, it's not important because we have to control ourselves so we don't experience serious problems.

But the message I was trying to convey here is that the professionals as they call themselves are not immune from going broke. More importantly, they could not stay rich with their "professional" activity and instead had to resort to a different business model, namely some affiliate, marketing, influencer type of business and not the activity itself. The bad part about it is that their job is to promote that activity AS IF it would make them rich in order to get as many people as possible onto the platforms as paying customers. I am sure you understand my point, don't you? And this is why it is so important to make up one's mind before deciding to become a "pro" and earn money with gambling.
Yes, they are not immune from bankruptcy and have the possibility of experiencing bankruptcy if they lose self-control in gambling. We have seen many real examples of pro players who have lost control of themselves while gambling and that is why we have to stay away from it and avoid it so that it doesn't happen to us. If they cannot take care of themselves well, they will not be able to take care of their wealth either and will lose it in no time. They can promote these activities to attract more people to their platform as paying customers while other people are still struggling with what they are doing when it is not producing anything at all. And if we really can't afford to be a pro because the road we have to go through is very difficult, we shouldn't try it and choose to be an ordinary person.
1969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: December 09, 2023, 04:17:38 AM
Yes and it is a freedom for them to allocate wherever money they want to spend, no other than because their money is like running water that seems endless, but it is not easy to be able to have financial freedom like that and all thanks to the hard work they do and persevere so that it brings extraordinary results. On the other hand I think that even if you have very good financial strength does not mean you have to forget about managing your finances, still all expenses must be taken into account and should not be excessive consistently, because the name of money is very easy to run out and that means I hope they can allocate money to gambling only with the amount they can afford to lose, it's better because the fear is that you don't realize that because of your overly affressive approach to gambling it makes you lose money over time in a large enough amount. I'm sure with the rapid development of this era, some rich people must have allocated some of their money to investments, because that's a place that can make your money grow and away from inflation like in bitcoin that you mentioned.

I think the difference is that the rich have found a way to earn while we are still spinning around looking for a way to better finances. The point is there should still be a limit to their gambling as well.
Getting excellent financial strength requires going through many stages that not many people are able to go through because they have to work harder and smarter than other people. They must be able to find what can improve their finances in many ways and these must be tested one by one to find what will work well. When they have found it, they focus on working on it and developing it, then they look for other ways until they find something suitable and then develop it again. That's what allows them to improve their financial capabilities and thanks to their hard work, maybe they can get results faster than imagined. They also calculate or save their expenses to be able to save more money to be used for other things that can help them improve their financial capabilities. That's a smart way that not many people know and because they are willing to try and try harder than other people, that's what makes success come to them faster than other people do. These rich people are able to invest in things that other people don't know well because they can see that it will bring them good.

Rich people have found ways through continuous trial and error so that they find easy-to-understand ways to increase their financial capabilities. But rich people don't feel lonely, let alone sink into gambling because they are able to balance their lives well and don't change their focus to gambling. They can still work well while they use gambling as a way to have fun in their free time.
1970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why sports betting? on: December 08, 2023, 01:39:21 PM
Those who make bets are often interested in the speed of money turnover. If you made a bet and the result will be known in a year - not everyone is ready to wait that long. You can bet on sports even during the event, and until the end of the event, the winnings can be used for new bets an unlimited number of times
Sports betting does not have fast result of your bet unlike other casinos games, however, people are still betting on it since it can be seen live and that way there's a guarantee that it's transaparent, a kind of game that they can trust with their huge wager. And of course, you can use the winning to bet until it increases your bankroll, but it's not the case for most gamblers as only few are really profitable in sports betting.
Even though sports betting does not provide quick results, they still place their bets on the sports betting they like. They bet on sports betting because they can predict who will win so they find it more interesting to do. They may be able to gamble in other gambling games but if it is a luck-based gambling game, they will have difficulty winning because it obviously requires luck. Meanwhile, for skill-based gambling games such as card games, they have to practice them until they really understand how to play cards well in order to win. So instead of them learning card games, they should bet on sports betting where they already know the sport well. That can increase his winning potential.
1971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: December 08, 2023, 01:00:03 PM
But I couldn't think a person is a normal gambler if he sells their properties, sell their valuable assets just to gamble. It was obviously a wrong decision and addicted to gambling, not a sacrifice. You can't be dumb doing this knowing that gambling can't assure us to win, and I can't do that for sure. But a gambling addict will find a way to cope with his addiction even if it will compromise their finances. It was a kind of mindset that never think about the future but just his addiction.
A regular gambler can sell his valuable assets to gamble and it seems that he is starting to become addicted to gambling because otherwise he would not be willing to sell his valuable assets just to gamble. He will probably reduce his gambling activities to avoid heavy losses and will not want to sell his valuable assets. That was clearly the wrong decision and he should have realized that if he sold his valuable assets, it meant there was a problem within him that had to be resolved immediately before everything ended badly. If the gambling addict can realize his mistake and is willing to admit that he is having a problem and wants to solve the problem, he will try to reduce his gambling activities, at least until the problem is resolved. He needs to re-examine his mindset about gambling so that if it doesn't suit his initial goal of gambling, he should be able to change it and get it back on track.
1972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever been a gambling addict? on: December 08, 2023, 12:35:53 PM
That's why I choose to no longer try to remind gambling addicts of their bad activities. Because it only causes a long debate and also a dispute. When trying to remind gambling addicts. we are really required to be extra patient. Because they are gambling addicts often reverse the facts, which makes us a little emotional.
Yes, you have acted appropriately. Let them choose what they want in gambling and if that means they will lose more, it is their fault. They may have to experience loss first before they can realize what they have done and want to improve themselves and change their gambling activities. But hopefully, they won't have to suffer many losses before they realize their mistake. Yes, we don't need to argue with them because it will just waste our time. We can only watch them while they are still gambling and be on guard if they need our help later.

In fact, gambling addiction changes the way people see things and makes those who have it think they cant make mistakes. We see this happen a lot: the more they lose, the more sure they are that they will win soon. Its a trick for the mind, right? You cant think straight when you think about sunk costs! Losses are being seen as steps toward success, and they're stuck in a loop. What kind of victory? Going bankrupt? Emotional chaos?

It seems harsh that you're making him deal with the results, but it might be just what he needs to break the cycle. Having problems in your life can teach you some of the most important lessons. Still, isnt there a risk? The more people want to get their money back, the bigger the loss. Its a paradox: we cant make them realize it, but its painful to watch them spiral. Is there a way to go in the middle? Helping in a quiet way, maybe by sharing stories of healing and planting seeds of self-awareness. Change does come from within, after all.
Those who are addicted to gambling will not think that they have made a mistake and that the mistake was even fatal. But they wouldn't be able to realize it before they experienced a fatal loss that made them deeply regret it. And by experiencing losses from gambling and even going bankrupt, maybe it just opens their eyes that they no longer have anything and everything is lost because of gambling. They are required to immediately stop gambling because they no longer have anything and must immediately cure their gambling addiction.

They have to experience these problems before finally realizing what their mistake is so that they are willing to start changing and learn from what happened to them. But the more they gamble longer and more often, it will only make the problem bigger and they will not be able to get through it. And the longer they try to recover their losses, the further they will be from recovering their losses and that will increase their losses even more. In fact, they can see that they have experienced a lot of losses, but they don't want to admit it. Instead, they gamble more often on the grounds that they are very close to winning. They don't want to stop gambling when they are close to winning, even though it is just their imagination.

You can try gambling at Stake Grin

What game are you looking for? Is it a casino game or sports betting? Stake has 2 types of games. You can try other casinos from the suggestions given by other members.

Before you start gambling, you must have self-control because as a beginner, you will probably face many temptations. The temptation may make you deposit more money than you can afford. Maybe you can schedule your gambling activities so that they don't interfere with other activities.

If a person has been gambling for most of his life and really enjoyed it, then it will not be so easy for him to give up on them. Gambling gives us not only vivid emotions, but also gives us hope that one day we will hit a big jackpot and our lives will be able to change for the better. In my opinion, it is difficult to find any other entertainment that can replace all this. Well, maybe only investing in super risky assets.
That is absolutely true because the person will feel that he still has a chance to win his big winnings from gambling. There is a possibility that he will not be able to stop gambling even though he is old. But it also indicates that he already has a gambling addiction because he does not know that gambling is a form of entertainment. If he can consider gambling as entertainment, he can definitely stop gambling when he is old because he must think that he has been gambling for a long time and it is time for him to retire and stop gambling. After all, he had probably already won such a sum of money in his youth that it would have been enough for him to abandon gambling. But he can still go back to gambling occasionally with his friends to reminisce about his past.

If a person gambles using 1% money from his family income, then I think it is good. Gambling with more than this amount is definitely a bad sign and can lead to bad position for his family. When a responsible person earns money to meet the financial needs of his family, if he loses half of that money by gambling, it will definitely affect the family. That's why it's better to avoid gambling and if you can't then you should gamble using 1 percent money. If you can gamble with 1 percent of your monthly income then surely your future will be good, otherwise if you spend more money on gambling then surely you will suffer and your family will also suffer.
Using 1% of his family's income is enough for someone to gamble because with that amount of allocation, he can already gamble and that may fulfill his desire to gamble. He must prioritize the needs of his family before his desire to gamble. After all, gambling is just to get entertainment, so he doesn't need to gamble too often, so he can avoid losing a lot and also use his free time to do other, more useful things. If he could reduce his spending on gambling, he would definitely have more money to use for other things, perhaps investing in bitcoin so he could make a profit in the future.
1976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites and current transactions fee on: December 08, 2023, 11:08:23 AM
try to choose an exchange with a small transaction fee, and use a segwit address instead of using a legacy one. and if possible, use altcoins to deposit or withdraw from the gambling site you are using. that way the transaction costs I think become more affordable and not burdensome to each other especially for low income gamblers.
For now, it is better to postpone sending any coins to the casino, and it is better to take a break from gambling first rather than get emotional because the transaction may be delayed. But altcoins can indeed be a solution to still being able to gamble by using altcoins as deposit coins. But taking a break from gambling can give us the opportunity to calm our minds from gambling. After all, we can go back to gambling whenever we want and there is still plenty of time just to gamble unless we are already addicted to gambling. That won't stop us from always gambling.

What do you all think?

Many people can profit from gambling but in my opinion it should not be considered as a main source of income because it is a place where you may earn a lot today and it may be gone tomorrow.

So it is better to take gambling as a means of extra income without taking it professionally because you can become rich with the extra income you get from it but gambling is a dangerous platform so be careful for gambling site.

Even though many people can win from gambling, we still shouldn't use gambling as a main source of income because we might find it difficult to keep winning. Winning from gambling is luck for gamblers, so they cannot say that they can make money from gambling and make it their main income. We may win today but we are still determining whether we can win or lose tomorrow.

For this reason, we should think of gambling as a place to have fun and not as a place or main source of income. And rather than taking the risk of losing too much money, we should try to reduce the amount of loss. It can protect and save our money so that we can continue gambling for another day.
1978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things you should always avoid while gambling ? on: December 08, 2023, 10:15:16 AM
Never set limits on win and wager for it. Next thing be careful with wagering contests, because those contest could end your wallet balance and what you win at the end used to be nothing. Never chase loss, take time and spend. When you were in loss you'll never know what you were doing. The mind will be completely focused on recovering the loss and the same could end up losing more. Take breaks, and make a comeback. At any cost never borrow money to spend. If you don't have money just keep rolling with no bet amount.
Everything you say is something that we should avoid when we gamble because that is what can make us control ourselves when gambling. We may experience a decrease in our level of self-control along with our gambling activities. However, if we are still aware and feel that we have had enough gambling, we can immediately stop gambling because if not, we could experience loss and it will not stop before we run out of all the money. When we experience loss, there will be an urge to recover from that loss by continuing to gamble. But we must be able to control our emotions and think clearly whether it is worth continuing or whether it is better for us just to stop gambling. And with the experience we have gained, we can think about stopping the gambling game and leaving the casino before we experience more losses.

It is true that learning from the experience of senior gamblers is very useful for newbies to know what they should do and what they should avoid when gambling. Their experience can help newbies to avoid things that have the potential to make them lose or how to manage their emotions, their relationship with their family, and various other things.
I too, when I first started gambling, read a lot of threads and discussions by fellow gamblers on this forum and I admit that the experiences they shared here really helped me to avoid things that could cause losses and I am grateful that they were willing to share their experience for free.
The experience of senior gamblers can provide knowledge to novice gamblers about many things that can help them avoid making mistakes like other gamblers have done. They will be able to enjoy gambling as they should and will not try to chase victory because they already know what will happen if they follow their passion. They will also learn about self-control while gambling so that they don't lose a lot of money and can also avoid gambling addiction. I also felt what you got when I was new to gambling. It turns out it is true what those who have been gambling for a long time say, that gambling doesn't need to be too serious and should be enjoyed in a relaxed manner because the purpose of gambling is to get entertainment and not for the pursuit of victory.

More precisely, if we hide our gambling activities, we won't be bothered by other people, and later if someone wants to learn to gamble and is addicted, we will definitely be blamed and that's why I say this, and besides, gambling not something luxurious to show off, so it will it better to be quiet without having to show our activities.
It true that small things like this don't need to be paid attention to, but this very important for gamblers because it carries various risks, so treat carefully and don't need to tell other people about the gambling situation.
Indeed, we will not be disturbed by other people. But we also have to be able to accept the consequences if we become addicted to gambling because we will continue to gamble without anyone reminding us to stop. That might make us addicted to gambling more quickly because we are alone in one room while enjoying gambling games and we only focus on gambling. Sooner or later, we will definitely get the influence of gambling and it will have fatal consequences for us because we will probably lose self-control. After all, we have experienced many things while we were gambling.

The problem is that they cannot control themselves and become addicted to gambling, because this will make changes to themselves and even these changes can lead to the negative side, people who are addicted tend to be easily emotional because gambling can damage their mindset too so it is natural that someone who is addicted is easily emotional even with trivial things.

Well that's what is unethical, they themselves make themselves addicted but their friends are the ones who are affected because they abuse them on the grounds that they are invited by their friends, maybe they get to know gambling also because they are invited by their friends, but I don't agree if an addict blames his friend, because in my opinion friends only invite at the beginning, the rest is up to them, if they can restrain themselves maybe they won't do gambling which makes them addicted, so in my opinion if addicts blame others it is wrong, because they themselves make themselves addicted to gambling with a lack of self-control. If they had gambled carefully from the start, I don't think they would have become addicted to gambling.
A person's negative side will be triggered when they become addicted to gambling because they lose control of themselves when gambling. They cannot see any drastic changes in themselves so they will become increasingly addicted to gambling and cannot control their emotions. Maybe we have seen many people who lose control of themselves, become emotional more quickly and cannot think clearly when they are experiencing problems.

This is normal for some people, where they will blame their friends for being invited to gamble by their friends. But actually, it is also their fault because they cannot control themselves well while gambling. They underestimate the self-control that must continue to be trained if they still want to gamble and often deposit more money with the excuse that they can win from gambling. But that won't make them realize that what they are doing is wrong because they have become addicted to gambling so they can't even control themselves. If after being introduced to gambling, they can think that they should not get too deep into gambling and immediately learn about self-control, they will not be addicted to gambling. They will be able to stop gambling and not return so they will not experience any problems.
