The price will constantly change and if bitcoin moves up and down, that will affect the other coins, including owl token.
If we talk about how much we can earn from staking, that depends on how many token amounts you will use to stake and you need to be ready with anything that can happen, even if the price is down a lot.
Am I missing something? $OWL token still is in its all time high area which should make their investors feel happy. Last few months, it is common to see tokens have 100% or more lose. OWL token has stayed very well even the general market is very bad.
Really? You can check by yourself at https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/owldao/.
The price now is at $0.01031 so I do not think that is too high to buy and stake the token.

The important thing is that you know how much money you can afford to use so there is no regret if a bad thing happens.
Maybe you can try to stake for a little amount to see how many tokens you can earn to decide on it later.
I see they build up a big casino from user friendly and attractive design go lots of available games for gamblers to play ans bet with.

The casino just need time to grow up, get recognized and become bigger.
It will become bigger by the time because they can manage their site better so maybe we will see another surprise from them which can get more attention from people.
The design is also good enough and can give a different experience to gamblers.
2282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone using the following crypto wallets? on: February 10, 2022, 04:05:56 AM
I'm tired of trust wallet and I'm looking for a new experience, here are the list of wallets I'm looking into right now just drop me your thoughts on any if you are using one of the below wallets thanks

1. Enjin wallet
2. Exodus wallet
3. Huobi wallet
4. Phantom wallet
I use Exodus wallet to store some of my coins but I do not use it too often as I only want to hold for a long term. Still, if I want to convert on the other coins, the minimum amount is too high compared to the other wallet, but I might be wrong because I do not check one by one.
I also used Phantom wallet to play with the Bothered Otters a few months ago but I do not store the other coins so I do not have much comment about this wallet;D
I do not use the other wallets, but I suggest you use a hardware wallet such as Ledger Nano or Trezor.
2283  Economy / Speculation / Re: Either rise or dip no more stability at this zone on: February 10, 2022, 03:06:41 AM
Nah, I don't think that we will be in stable, maybe what you meant is sideway trading, but still there is so much volatility in this market that it's hard to say for certain that it will stay on a certain line for even days.

Just like what we have seen again in the last 24 hours, the price goes up and trying to break that $45k barrier. This might be the second attempt and if we are successful then it will definitely go so somewhat in the $46k-$48k'ish level this month. Or if we failed again, then it will go south.
I think the same as you at this moment. The price is not going up or down and tends to stay at the current price.
Maybe if the price jumps and surprises us by increasing to $46k-$50k will change the trends will become bullish and at that moment, that can attract more investors to join, although the price is a bit too high for them.
The barrier of $45k seems too strong to break but I am sure that it will be a break in this month if no bad news is coming to the market.
It is exciting to follow the price movements because sometimes, the price can surprise us by giving us a chance to buy at a flash dump or pump.
2284  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New contract scam in crypto on: February 10, 2022, 02:00:17 AM
I feel sorry for all the losses the investors have experienced while choosing a project to invest in crypto. The Crypto business is turning very ugly these days. A lot of projects make big promises and got rug pull or dirty scams like updating to a new contract(more than 50% of holders unaware of the new token migration) and lost all funds.
What can be done to avert or be kept to date with the latest information being passed to all the investors. I noticed that majority of investors hardly come online on telegram to know when there are changes in the project they invested
I am afraid that case will still happen in the future because when one trend is booming, many people are interested in investing in a new project related to the trend. After all, they think that they will make a big profit.
But the fact is not like what they want as many new projects become a scam and run away with their money.
Updating a new contract may not be a new thing to trick the investors and steal their money secretly so the investors lose all of their funds in that projects.
The scammers are smart, but we can prevent it by carefully selecting the new project and always remembering not to put too big money to invest in their project before seeing if their project can survive for some time.
2285  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 09, 2022, 09:13:18 AM
I tried to go to Roobet.com to register, but after clicking on the link, only a picture of a stub with a kangaroo logo appears instead of a site. I also tried to do it using vpn - the result is the same. At the same time, without any problems, I managed not only to open the websites of other casinos, but also to successfully register and use them. What could be the reason?
I do not have any experience like you.
You can check it by ping the_site_name -t in the RUN command in your Windows or do it in the terminal in Linux to see how good your connection is.
I usually do that if I think my internet connection is lacking or has errors.
If you see many requests timed out, your internet connection has a problem and you should check it.
If there is a maintenance schedule, they will announce it on their social media or this thread.

What its better stacking or change to USD?
I know you say its very volatile but maybe if you do a lot of cycles and be persistent if the price dont fall can be a good profit, any of here are staking for 3 or 6 months?. How much you can earn if the price its stable for that period of time?
One thing for improve i thing its the interface of the sports betting.

If the price its stable i will with no doubt to stacks

2287  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | VIP | on: February 09, 2022, 07:01:52 AM

I can't wait to see Deulbit NFTs announcement am sure is going to be sold out within minutes of launch, looking forward to more exciting days ahead to Duelbit and its team, the NFTs market is the wave of the moment that have attracted many investors and casino NFTs is becoming popular this day.

It's not clear yet whether Duelbits makes its own NFTs or just provides a market for gambling the tweet just wants to see the user's response
But it's good at least  Duelbits have thought about it if it get a lot of response duelbits definitely make a plan , duelbits don't want to miss the trend.
Yes. Its just shows that Duelbits is also showing interest on NFTs, the reason why they're asking the people and I think there's a possibility for them to engage on it. NFTs are quite popular, other casinos already add NFTs on their site and doing great so its not surprising if Duelbits decided to follow the trend since they're competitive.
You can wait for the next announcement from the Duelbits team, especially if they want to make their own NFTs.
With the growth of NFT and the potential to evolve in the future, every business owner wants to spread their business to a new field that can give them more chances to make a profit.
I think they have already prepared some surprises for us, especially for their members and still working on that and making sure that everything can work properly.
The NFT trends bring a new experience to all people so Duelbits may not want to miss that.
2288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $3.6 billion in Bitcoin seized from Crocodile of Wall Street on: February 09, 2022, 06:00:45 AM
Thats surprisingly dumb of them to get caught. But now that all that money has been seized, what will happen to it now? Are they going to return the money to the respectful owners / Wallets or are they going to keep them? If they keep them as stolen goods, I take it they won't be sold/auctioned off anytime soon? Honestly with the US justice system being the absolute dumpster fire it is, I would be nervous as to how this is going to affect the Bitcoin price in the short term.

Also, what kind of amateurs can't keep 3.6 Billion to themselves? How did they even get caught? Should of Hodled it.
They think that they have a lot of money they can cash out to buy anything they want at that time.
Maybe they forget not to use too big an amount of bitcoin to cash out because that can make the alarm sound and the officers hunt them.
Hopefully, that will not affect the market to go down instead of bounce to the high price and back to $45k.
If they still hold some bitcoins in secret places, they will have a chance to use them when they are free in the future.
2289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The solution is just there on: February 09, 2022, 05:03:29 AM
If coinmarketcap and coingecko can just start asking for team verification before listing a new project on their platforms I believe many will be safe from scammers, yes it's not their right to do since those platforms are just for listing available crypto projects but I heard they ask for criteria isn't it? They know how bad the numbers of scammers are growing, I think it's doable
Yes, even if both sites are verifying before they list a new project, that will not stop scammers from scamming people, especially the investors who joined them.
It is difficult to stop scammers because they are smart enough to trick their investors and pretend that their project is good to profit.
Our responsibility is to research from coinmarketcap and coingecko or other websites to avoid scammers.
We can only use the data from both sites but the rest will be up to us to determine which coins will be profitable.
2290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it involve risk connect metamask to opensea? on: February 09, 2022, 04:02:21 AM
Is it involve risk  connect metamask to opensea? hacks?  possible?
Before you use anything on the internet, there is no 100% safety so we can only be careful and make sure that our devices are safe from malware, trojan or else.
Once you are sure about that, you can go to Opensea and start browsing to buy or sell what you want.
Do not click anything that you think is suspicious and could cause trouble to you because on the internet, you will find tons of that things.
2291  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitVest, The worst casino I have ever seen on: February 08, 2022, 07:33:33 AM
The admin of the site Lightlord has been online in the forum but not active since he never makes any post or responds to any other complaints, so I will suggest everyone have to be careful for now until he gets back on his fit.
Lightlord had created three posts so far in this case you cant say that he never creates any post. If you or anyone want to get response about this case or any case then the person should pm the link to make his concentration. And for this case it is not the fault of the admin of the site. It is fault of the OP. And almost it is impossible to recover that fund.
I think OP had already rest his case here because He knew that he cannot win this case because of mistakes he committed that he has the guts to blame the team/site for his own carelessness .
maybe he had now accepted that fact and starts enjoying playing in bitvest again because it seems that he cannot ignore the fact that Bitvest is one of the best gambling site he had ever played  Grin Grin Grin

This case is not about letting go and forgetting about it. Moderators on the Bitvest website informed OP that he would receive a refund of the funds he deposited. Unfortunately, such an operation is very time-consuming, and the owner is not very active. In this situation, it's all about being patient.
Yes, I agree with you but some people can not stay patient because they need their money back which is not available until @LL online and solve the problem.
We do not even know when @LL will be back here and explain and refund his funds, so he will not get @LL attention no matter what he does.
Hopefully, he can have more patience waiting for the answer as we already see what @LL said in his last reply and give them more time.
@LL is still in the recovery phase, which makes him unable to stay online in this thread, but I feel he will come back soon.
2292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino KYC how it works and to what effect on: February 08, 2022, 06:32:18 AM

That's it. It is simply about lack of choice. I don't imagine a crypto casino choosing to implement KYC because they prefer to do it. They should have opened a fiat casino instead. But what choice do they have? The regulation or the law requires that they should put up mechanisms to know their clients. And it is not just a yes or a no on the part of the crypto casino. What is in line is their license, their operation, their business. It is either they comply or they pack up and leave.
Some country with majority with Moslem person they not allowed using gambling site, but have some person looks enjoy and fun with playing gambling so they not want their data open to public about he was active on gambling site. I think better have an option with gambling site not really ask and have rule with KYC document ID, not all member are agree with KYC ideas because he want unknow by any one when playing gambling. Choosing crypto gambling because can hidden bank document with many local gambling site use bank for deposit but in crypto can hidden data when deposit trough cryptocurrency.
If the crypto casinos still use KYC completely, they will not have a chance to grow and have many members because their members who care about privacy will not do KYC and will search for the other casinos.
Gambling is prohibited in a country with a majority Moslem person. It will not tolerate if their people play gambling but people are smart enough to hide their gambling activity and that is why there are underground casinos that allow people to play without doing KYC.
If the casinos do not apply strict KYC, that will make gamblers feel okay and comfortable playing in their place and maybe that can be a place for people to spend their money by playing many games.
The casinos see this as their opportunity to get more members by doing limitations on the KYC to make money from many members still and do not have a problem with gamblers who avoid the KYC.
2293  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | VIP | on: February 08, 2022, 05:28:05 AM
Duelbits is a scam honest to god if everyone associated with this company died tomorrow the world would be a much better place anyone promoting them deserves to be publicly stoned to death

Seriously? Smiley I suspect he lost a significant for him amount on slots, and now blaming the site because, and this is his only proof, "you can tell when something is off". Also, I suspect he doesn't know that Duelbits is only providing its platform to various slots, never interfering with games. Further reading of his posts with such parts as "1 Btc for any information that will identify ..." has only reinforced my first impression. It would be laughable, if it was not so sad. This guy needs professional help as soon as possible.
Thats possible. He probably gamble and lost all his money then blaming the site for his own doing so he is getting revenge by trying to ruin the reputation of this site. I dont know why he cant move on and keep posting here. Anyway, as I've said in my previous reply, its better for everyone to just ignore this guy.
We can only suggest he talk personally with Duelbits staff and show the proof to them about what is happening with him so hopefully, there is a clear for him.
When we deposit too big money in a gambling site, that will be our first mistake because gambling is not a place to make money.
So whatever will happen later, we should realize that is the consequence of what we decide before.
Hopefully, everything will be okay for him and it is a lesson for him not doing the same mistake in the future.
2294  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is this not worth it? on: February 08, 2022, 04:35:45 AM
I'm from a country where I make 60$ per month working in a company so I decided to leave the job for online business, stock, Forex, crypto trading are where I was looking at until crypto become more interesting to me, now I'm making more than 60$ every two weeks from crypto, few days ago the company owner called to inform me that the salary have been increased to 80$ per month, do you think I made a mistake leaving my job in the first place? Is there anything wrong working online in your bed room everyday?
No, you are not made a mistake because you want to have better payment but maybe you can consider accepting your first job if your boss can give more so you can have more money to fill your daily needs while you have another way to make money from crypto.
But if you want to focus on crypto, you do not have to go back to your boss instead still try to make more from crypto.
But no matter what you will decide later, that will need consequences from you and responsibility so you need to know the risk and what is good for you.
There is nothing wrong with working online at home because many people do that and earn more money.
Maybe you can discuss with somebody closest because we do not know what jobs you did in the past.
2295  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be like me on: February 08, 2022, 03:29:51 AM
The biggest mistake Ive ever made with crypto was I took a 1200$ loan in 4th quarter of 2021to invest in a meme coin that later tanked down to 70% loss, I was deluded with 100k BTC by December and also the beginning of a bigger altcoin season, I wish I listened to some advices on here instead of relying on some crazy youtubers, my own crypto journey started with huge loss i hope I will make them back some day, if you are new to crypto do not take me step.
Relying on other people is a big mistake in any business, especially using your money because you need to be responsible for every decision you make.
You can hear or read other people's suggestions but behind that, you still need research to find more info so you can decide which you think is the best for you.
If you can sell a meme coin at the right time, you are making a profit because from 2021 to early 2022, you have a good time to sell all the meme coins and take profit but that depends on the coins.
I am sure you still have a chance to recover slowly from your losses but you need to work step by step because the market will be back to normal and will have time to rise again.
2296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin book as surprising gift on: February 08, 2022, 02:24:28 AM
Giving a book about bitcoin as a gift to others is a good idea but that will depend on they like to read a book or they will not read that book.
If they finally read that book, they will usually ask you for more questions and ask about many things such as is that true? How we can convert bitcoin to fiat and many more.
But only a few of them read a book to get more information while others will search on the internet or come to you to discuss further.
But that is still a good thing for them because you give them a chance to know and learn something that might be useful and worth it for you.
2297  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: February 05, 2022, 08:02:35 AM
What is with your token? what we can do with it? was it something like the same benefits from other gambling site wherein we are going to earn dividend from the total profit of the site? or there's other use of your tokens? I look at your website and you have a lot of game coverage and markets.
If I am not mistaken, you can stake your OWL token to earn BUSD but I do not know how long you will earn many rewards from the OWL token.
With a low price for 1 OWL, you can start to stake OWL token, but you can use Trust wallet and use the apps to browse on their site to start staking.
Maybe there is a further explanation from the team to know how and what you need to do if you want to stake the OWL token.
So far, the market for buying and selling OWL tokens is at PancakeSwap.
2298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: February 05, 2022, 07:03:27 AM
When it comes to cryptocurrency, I believe that the biggest cryptos take a long time to confirm a payment, which does not imply that it is instant,
Bitcoin and ethereum takes time but it's not really that long to wait until they get a confirmation. There are those casinos that have a good feature with crypto deposits and they're good with 0 confirmation and they're already allowing you to use that deposit while it's not yet being confirmed.
Yes, there are platforms which gives instant deposit getting visible on the balance and the same allows the user to spend it even before the confirmation of the transaction. This is good, but the same doesn't look like a needed one. Because who expect an instant deposit is a user who is in the losing streak. Maybe if he gets little break, he might get out gambling for some time and controls the emotions of spending to recover the loss immediately. So, I expect gambling platforms to have some particular time set on deposit than reflecting the balance instantly.
Losing streak or not, that feature is good for those who don't have much patience. When you've deposited and don't want to wait for confirmation then you better look for that casino where you can instantly play after the deposit.
Well, it's not about getting a break or so. What's important to the casino is that they're making their customers enjoy and the most important, deposit.
We've seen those instant deposits wayback but casinos now are requiring at least 1 confirmation before it would credit out on the gambling account because there are situations which these instant deposits been used
for double spending which means thats a total loss for the gambling site which they had made out such changes which i do see for it to be just fair and right.Yeah most gamblers are impatient
whenever they do make out deposits they do tend to play right away which isnt always the case.
Waiting for 1 confirmation does not take too long but as the previous reply above us, we can use the funds directly before the transaction process is finished so that helps us to play directly even if the transaction is not yet completed.
I often wait until the fund's credit is on my account and can be patient for a while because I am not in a hurry to play gambling.
Besides that, we can browse the games to find what we want so when the process is completed, we can directly play the games.
2299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 🎲MYLOTTERY.io 🎲 💰 Reinventing The Gambling Experience 💰 on: February 05, 2022, 06:06:31 AM
Welcome to this forum and enjoy your stay.
Mylottery.io is a gambling game based on altcoins and not on bitcoin since the site uses Ethereum or BNB as its network.
Maybe @OP needs to clarify about KYC process on his site because there is not much information about KYC but they write about collected personal identity from their members.
As a new gambling site, they need to improve many things and I guess that will not be a problem for them since they are still working hard to achieve their goals.
While gamblers play many games on their site, they can also become investors by buying their tokens and getting more benefits. Hence, they need to explain more details about that and hopefully, @OP can back here and discuss furthermore.
2300  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: February 05, 2022, 05:02:37 AM
Following the market, trend should not be as confusing like the way it is currently, especially for those that care much about the market direction and are not too skilled on analysis the market direction.
They can buy and leave the market when it seems not moving well, so they do not have to worry about seeing the price fluctuation.
That will be anticipated from panic when the price jumps to the lower price while we can accumulate more in the downtrend.
So congratulation to people who bought bitcoin below $40k because they are now making a nice profit but their profit can become bigger if they can still hold and buyback in the next correction.
If you can manage your emotion from the market situations, there will be no need to feel confused as you may know when you should enter the market to buy bitcoin.
