1681  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can the price Hit back $50k this month? on: July 08, 2022, 10:20:13 AM
I can't really imagine bitcoin going up $50k this month, Even $40k is pretty hard because of our current market situation. It's too early for it to recover. I've seen some technical analysis in the internet and non of them reached around $50k price, Really it's impossible given the time span of 1 month. Imagine bitcoin doubles it value in just 1 month, It's a miracle. I'm also curious about the research you did, Where did you research it and how come you end up on $50k.
There is no chance that bitcoin can reach even near to the 50,000$. We are not in a bull market and also there are no fundamental events which can pump bitcoin to this level. Although anything is possible in crypto but still i can safely say that bitcoin cannot even reach 50,000$ in this year 2022. I would be happy if bitcoin does not dump below 17-18K and stay above 20K.
What you say is also true because for the short term or even next month it will not be able to reach the price of $ 50 thousand in my opinion.
But for the end of the year, it could be between $45 thousand or stop at around $50 thousand.
Besides that, the bitcoin price is still in the $21k range and if this month, bitcoin hits back to $50k, that will be a big achievement for bitcoin because it is not easy to lift the price in the middle of this situation.
But if bitcoin can do that, every people out there will see that bitcoin is going to be strong again and no one will underestimate bitcoin.
Hopefully, the price will not go down too far if the correction is coming so people out there will not panic too.
If the price can sustain at this level, the price will have a big opportunity to increase in the next month.
1682  Other / Archival / Re: What do you expect from bitcoin in the second half of 2022? on: July 08, 2022, 08:33:51 AM
Bitcoin first half of 2022 ended in disappointment and complaints came from many people who expected the Bitcoin price to break above $40k. Of course the people who complained about the condition of Bitcoin in the first half were those who could not hold this valuable asset. Instead of holding back, they actually sell because of negative whispers.
In addition to negative whispers from other people that can make everyone's spirit panic and change in a very short time, I think some of them also sell because they need money even though the fear of loss still haunts them every time when they see the market that has not changed before second half of this year.

Quote
Just like you, my hope in the second half of 2022 will not have to reach the new ATH. At least in the second half of this year, Bitcoin can return to a point that is better than the conditions in the first half. Based on the experience I've had, the movement of the graph will change after increasing and will return to the bottom. I firmly believe Bitcoin's new ATH will be reached once these perceived bad market conditions are over.
If you look at the Bitcoin price chart now, there has been a change from the $18k price range to the $22k price range in the market and that is a sign that Bitcoin will still increase this year. I personally also hope that Bitcoin can be in the price of $50k by the end of this year or before next year.
Let's hope it will come true as I see that there is a possibility it could return to the $22k price tag again.
Now the bitcoin price has touched the price of $21.8k and there is still a little bit to go to $22k and hopefully, it doesn't stop at that price but can continue to rise.
If bitcoin can get back to $50k before the end of the year or next year, it will be a treat for us, especially those who bought a lot of bitcoins at $18k a while ago.
But bitcoin has a long way to go and we don't know what's next.
1683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 08, 2022, 07:31:48 AM
Although it depends on a person. I believe our environment somehow affects our personal decisions. I am a disciplined gambler but put me in a gambling community and I might gamble a little more.

Just last year I transferred into another house. I am now in a silent community. So I only gambled online now. Unlike in my old place where I had my bets online and at the same time I also gambled against some people there.
It could be but if we have discipline in gambling and know when to gamble and stop, I don't think the environment will be able to force us to gamble because the control is in our hands.
But with the internet everywhere and providing easy access to online gambling sites, this can still provide an opportunity for gamblers to continue gambling even though they have moved to a new environment.
So this will really depend on us, whether we want to stop gambling or not there will be any effect on us who have moved.
But I think people who already know online gambling well and where a casino site can provide comfort will return to that casino site to play gambling.
1684  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake making new accounts is too easy on: July 08, 2022, 06:06:45 AM
I am not sure if Stake has a self-excluded program for gamblers as that program gives advantages and disadvantages to the casino.
People who want to activate the self-excluded can do this if they want but when it comes to the addicted gambler, I am not sure if they can do that because that will not be easy for them to stop themselves from playing gambling.
But it seems you need to control yourself to avoid returning to the casino, as I see that you might have a gambling addiction.
Even if Stake or other casinos have a self-excluded program, if you can not control yourself, that program will not work because you can return to that casino repeatedly.
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Careful With Your Slot Activity! on: July 08, 2022, 04:23:12 AM
Long time not online here and i'm back just wants to share a new case around me that related with gambling, especially slots.

My neighbor is in debt of $9000 just for playing slot games. This is bad, considering the amount of money in my country is enough to build a house.

History:
- His friends share the winnings from slot to him
- He is interested an trying to play
- He's being addicted
- Lose and owe to his friends and bank to play more but so sad he is loss again till his owe hitting $9000
- Hard to pay his owe, he finally ran away and now his family need to pay all of his debts.
- AFAIK, his family wants to sells their land to pay off the gambler's debt.

So, careful with your slot activity. make sure you are staying away from any loan just for slots. Actually, this case not from gambling sites just playing android games named "Higgs Domino"
I feel bad for your friend family inheriting the debt and forced to sell their land to pay off the debt. You friend is very irresponsible starting on the time he borrowed money to fulfill his gambling lifestyle. There are many games out there and slot is a pretty bad game, I don't play slot games unless it's free because of the chances it's rigged and hard to verify. All of the fault can be blamed to your friend because of how his bad decision making affects his relatives and friends.
That's the danger if we borrow money from other people because we don't know whether we can pay it back or not.
If we can't pay it back, our family could get the consequences and possibly all our belongings will be taken away.
If we can be responsible for playing gambling and don't involve other people, especially families, maybe we can continue playing gambling.
But it would be better if we stop gambling before things worsen and make our families suffer the consequences.
1686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about altcoin market on: July 07, 2022, 11:06:51 AM

What do you think about altcoin market.

It's no secret that the market is not in a good shape at the moment. I think whatever position we are now investors or traders should remember to be smart and keep investing to make money at the end of the day but There are times when we feel this coin or that coin can make me rich overnight.
And don't always forget to analyze before doing anything because it will help you determine what you should do based on what is happening in the market.
Investors also have to analyze because, with analysis, they will know when to buy and how much they can buy.
Likewise with traders because by analyzing market conditions, they can find out what coins have the potential to increase if the market changes direction.
But we must remember that no one will know where the market will go and we can only predict.
1687  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach 18600$ level in this week ends? on: July 07, 2022, 09:27:13 AM
With the recent pumps of the market, I am not expecting we will fall below $19,000 this week. If you take a look, we are fighting the $21,000 level.
If ever we will not fall below $20,000 this week, I am expecting Bitcoin is creating a support level of $20,000 and it is good thing so that it will help not to reach the $18,6000 anymore.
Yes, bitcoin is still struggling to rise and break through $21k but the thing is, it's still a question mark whether bitcoin can really break the $21k mark this month or will it still hold its current price.
Many of us don't want bitcoin to fall below $20k again but if that's the case, then we can't do anything but just follow suit.
But I think the small investors have started to accumulate the amount of bitcoin by buying bitcoin in small fractions because they know the potential of bitcoin in the future.
And it seems small investors are not affected by the news about bitcoin because they just want to collect more bitcoins while the price is still at its current level.
1688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inherited gambling on: July 07, 2022, 06:24:58 AM
This can be inform of trait that could make the person to have vast interest in gambling. There are some persons whose fathers are crazy gambling master and having child that have almost thesame love or interest in gambling activities is possible. Gambling addiction depend on how frequent we gambling and what makes us to keep gambling whether for the love we have for it or the little profits we do make from it. Gambling addiction is real and many victims have different reason why they became addicted to gambling.
Yes, gambling addiction is a real thing that can happen to anyone who plays gambling and we never know when we can become addicted.
Only being careful when playing gambling can make us always aware that gambling is an activity that can make us forget what we must do and that is independent of hereditary factors.
If a father is a gambler, it is not certain that his child will become a gambler, especially if, from a young age, his son has seen his father's bad habits so that he can say that he will never play gambling in his life.
Everything will depend on how a person can carry himself well and behave better than his father.
1689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino can play a role in changing fortune? on: July 07, 2022, 05:25:53 AM
But indeed manipulation like this can happen because they are the ones who own and know the condition of the casino machines. And they are also the provider, so they certainly understand and have their own way to always get more money from the users, right? As long as it's still reasonable, maybe it's considered normal, especially if users still have chances to win. Unless there wasn't even a chance of winning, it would definitely be suspicious. Only certain manipulations are possible to some degree of victory. Yes, we don't know for sure, but it's possible it could happen.
Casinos have the opportunity to earn more money but casinos cannot deny the luck factor that comes to a person and can only follow the rules they make.
Even though casinos have their own way of getting things like that, they can't just cheat on their users because if they did, the users would surely complain and eventually leave the casino.
Manipulation may still occur but it will not work for gamblers who have a high level of luck because they will win from the casino.
So we shouldn't have to think about things beyond our minds and we'd better play gambling as usual.
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 07, 2022, 04:25:50 AM
Change in environment will have a great impact and influence on any gambling addiction with reference to relocating to a very religious environment especially in an islamic society where gambling is completely prohibited an addicted gambler has no choice than to quit, even in the midst of christian faithfuls such a gambler can be counselled and encourage to stop gambling, more importantly non available of former gambling mates will speedily and hastily stop that gambler addiction because they motivate and encourages the act.
Change of environment can affect our gambling lifestyles if we move into an environment where there is more gambling addiction. Meeting new friends that are into gambling especially those that takes it very seriously like a career can affect our gambling urge and frequency. Gambling addiction had been a big problem in the society and there had been a frequent increase in the rate at which people gambles on a daily basis.
It would be better if people who are addicted could move to a new environment to meet new people and have different habits from where they lived before.
This will give him feel a different experience and can build a new habit that can stop him from wanting to play gambling.
If he did this continuously, maybe he could get rid of his gambling addiction in no time because he would feel the situation was different and he should change for the better.
Family, friends, and the environment will help him to change so he can feel a second chance in his life.
1691  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How quick does the market grow during bull market? on: July 07, 2022, 02:23:55 AM
A bull market will definitely happen, we just need to wait and be prepared with the assets we have bought.
The current market price cannot be said to be the lowest price, because the current market sentiment is still not good. Therefore, doing money management is very important in case the market is not as we want it to be. Exiting the market to avoid panic may be an option, but remember you have to keep monitoring the market from time to time and determine the target price to be achieved.
That is correct.
For now, with the market turmoil that is still uncertain, we must be careful in determining when to enter the market, when to leave the market, and when to buy and sell.
By managing money, we can hope to use it properly and correctly so we can buy at the right time.
If we can use it now, we can sell when the bull market comes and get big profits later.
1692  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How quick does the market grow during bull market? on: July 05, 2022, 11:26:17 AM
Hi ,

First started crypto in February this year so am new to all of this and the current bear market we are going through.

I have so far invested £4,500 and my portfolio is down 45%. I have not sold any of my positions and have kept buying at these low prices with the intention of holding until the bull market comes and I can cash out some nice profits.

I have been dollar cost averaging the last 5-6 weeks since we had our first real crash in May which means I now have pretty good average buys for all my holdings so hopefully when the bull market does come again it will take no time at all for me to be in profit.

I understand none of us know exactly when the next bull market will be here but I am just wondering if anyone could give me their experience with what it was like during previous bull markets and how fast we can expect our investments to grow again?

Bull market will have its own way to make you experience the best of profits, and you will only know that its happening already if the market is not bloody anymore and that all the coins are experiencing positive price feedbacks. For now, just focus more on buying and long term hodling, because that will be your best source of profits when the market starts to recover. Though it may not happen so soon as the market is still in a deep crash, but just continue to have positive mindset and never be enticed to do panic selling as it will only lose everything you have.
We just have to be sure that the bull market will come back soon and before its arrival, we have to prepare ourselves to have a lot of potential so that we can have a chance to sell it at the highest price.
I agree that now is the time to focus on long-term buying and holding as prices have fallen to low prices.
But that doesn't mean we're already at the lowest level because no one knows whether the price will drop deeper or stay at this price level after this.
Sooner or later, the market will recover and once you are ready, you just need to be patient and maybe exiting the market is the solution to avoid panic.
1693  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When to take profit? on: July 05, 2022, 10:21:26 AM
Hi all,

First started crypto in February earlier this year so like most of us at the moment I am currently down but lately have been thinking what to do when the market does eventually start going up again. I understand this will be a while away but just wondering how & when to take profit and what everyone has done in the past or plans to do in the future?

I am thinking of taking out my initial investment when I double my money and just leaving the profit to see what returns I can get long term. Is that a common way or is it best to just take small amounts at a time?

It's no bad idea taking back your initial investment when it doubled, at least it could stand as a backup should the profit your leaving behind goes wrong.
It's much better having something to hold onto than losing it all in both capital and profit.
That is if you can understand that the price movements of your coins can change at any time, so you want to take the opportunity to take your profits before they are lost.
But unfortunately, once we see how big our profit is, we become greedy and want even more profit, so we don't sell it at that time, and instead, we still hold it because we want to see the next high.
It won't always happen because market conditions can change at any time, so take your time and sell your coins if you can make a profit.
But it's okay if your selling target hasn't arrived and you still want to hold it, but you shouldn't be disappointed if the price drops again due to a correction.
1694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 05, 2022, 09:16:22 AM
Someone who comes from an environment or society used to gambling will have the opportunity to change for the better because he will feel embarrassed to try to play in his usual gambling place.
This will make it inconvenient to visit the gambling place but if it is an online casino, it may not mean that he can reduce his gambling activities because he can gamble in a quiet place.
If a person really wants to change to be a better person, then I think he has to make a new habit where he might need to move to a new place that can really help him to change.
But this is not easy considering that if someone has played gambling for a very long time, he has felt the comfort factor, making it difficult to move to a new place.
1695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino can play a role in changing fortune? on: July 05, 2022, 08:20:55 AM
Maybe it was a bet for him because he felt that with not enough money, he continued to run his business and remained convinced that one day his business would succeed and he finally proved it.
I think there have been many business ventures like the story you shared and there have also been many successful business ventures with only small capital but can generate a lot of money.
But we know that those who can succeed with their efforts must have careful calculation and can face all obstacles well.
This is what distinguishes gambling in casinos and gambling in business.
1696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inherited gambling on: July 05, 2022, 07:13:37 AM
exactly as you said, women prefer safe options and this is reinforced by many theses from experts. Not only for gambling, the behaviors inherited from our ancestors pass on the genes to the next generation including any addiction. and it's true that anything in excess is not good especially for gambling. as others have said just play for fun with money you can afford to lose.
But even though we inherit the gambler gene from our ancestors, if we have a strong desire to stay away from gambling, I don't think we will be affected by the temptation and we can even stay away from it.
Besides, we will not become addicted because we already have good self-control in playing gambling so we know how to treat gambling properly and well.
And if we play gambling, we will only have fun with enough money and can stop if we feel we have had enough fun.
1697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and MLM Schemes on: July 05, 2022, 06:28:23 AM
I've worked in the past with company which used MLM, but for my experience, in the most case, there were only ponzi-scheme company hided by MLM marketing.

You can compare gambling with HYIP, this is true, but the real MLM is really another kind of thing and shouldn't never compared to gambling.
Maybe gambling can almost be likened to an HYIP because we both deposit a certain amount of money and then we just have to wait for the time limit we can take the profits.
What makes HYIPs almost the same as gambling is that no one knows when the HYIP company can go online and that can make us worry if the HYIP company closes before we can take our profits and capital.
But if we say gambling is the same as MLM, then that's not quite right because MLM can still provide benefits in recruiting new members.
It's just an obscure MLM program that we might equate to gambling.
1698  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: waiting to buy lower? on: July 01, 2022, 11:55:06 PM
No one can tell when is bottom,  maybe this can be the bottom,  or if there should be a bottom it won't be much difference with current price.  All I just know the price at which the market is now is a good price to buy that anyone can afford it. Cryptocurrency is unpredictable,   this maybe the bottom, Waiting for the bottom may eventually turns up to a bull market,  which we had opportunities to buy at the bottom.  Sometimes in cryptocurrency the more you expect the less you see.  Buy at every good opportunity when the market price is good and affordable.
We can only guess where the bottom will be and where the price will move but we don't know exactly when it will happen.
The market has now crashed again after getting the pump briefly a few hours ago but then the price dropped below $20k.
This makes the price seem to be holding on to that price level and hopefully, the price will increase in the next week.
Now we have another good time to buy and wait a bit to see the price increase.
But if the price goes down again, we are also given more opportunities to buy more bitcoins.
1699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: July 01, 2022, 11:06:41 PM
Withdrawing in a rush. It could happen for those who just earned their money thru bonuses. Like one player who did a faucet and somehow got lucky and made it 100x the amount. They will be the one affected by this sudden dump in the Bitcoin price.
The lucky gambler hits the big jackpot then he doesn't care about the market price and he immediately makes a hasty withdrawal to buy what they have been craving for a long time but if he is an active community of traders or gamblers then half will still keep BTC for asset reserves.
When a gambler can hit a big jackpot, he needs to withdraw that winning money and not use it to play just to try to hit another big jackpot.
This may not have anything to do with market price movements but more to protect yourself from overusing your funds after getting a win.
A drop in the market price will make us use more satoshi, whether in bitcoin, ethereum, bnb, or other coins.
But, gamblers are not worried about this problem because they only want to gamble without considering the price.
1700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Problem, Is it Possible to be a Thing of the Past? on: July 01, 2022, 11:36:06 AM
Of course things like gambling addictions can be overcome and it can become possible for it to be a thing of the past, but thats easier said than done. In reality most people need some kind of outside help when overcoming their gambling problems. Self help is really only going to bring you so far before you realise that you lack the discipline (as most people do) to go through with it.

Addictions are unfortunately a long term brain hormone disbalance. So "forgetting and moving on" is reallly just a fairy tale. That takes years.
If you want to help yourself, you must have a strong awareness that you are having a gambling addiction problem to work towards overcoming it.
But the problem is, most people will not realize that they have become addicted even though they have used a lot of money just to gamble.
This makes it difficult for them to start overcoming the problem of gambling addiction.
And this is why they really need the help of others but without any intention from within us, it will be very difficult because we do not tell in detail what happened to us.
