721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we should play on minor gambling platform? on: May 01, 2023, 01:47:02 PM
~
It depends from person to person. I personally try new sites simply because they catch my interest, whether it be the UI, the style of implementation they do, or the games that they have, it's because I was interested, simple as that. If the casino was a scam then I can only blame myself really. I don't tend to stay on new casinos to play though, I majorly play on well-known sites most of the time, and only tend to play a few bucks around new casinos, at least enough for their minimum withdrawals.
At least, that's what we must do to avoid any problems arising while using the new casino.
Meanwhile, by playing in the usual casino, we won't experience any problems because we already know what makes us able to continue to use it for gambling.
Playing at a new casino is okay if we can be careful. The tendency is that new casinos are often unprepared if it turns out that a surge or additional new players are coming to their site, which will cause the casino to have problems that need to be fixed.
And the repairs sometimes take so long that gamblers think the casino will be a scam casino.
722  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: knowing the basic concept is enough for a beginner on: May 01, 2023, 11:38:10 AM
Everything comes from the bottom. If you think that you have to start from the basics again, that's okay because you can find almost all the information in this forum that can be useful for you.
It's great if bitcoin is legal in your country so you don't have to worry about investing in it and gathering more information about it or crypto.
Don't feel afraid or hopeless if you don't have technical knowledge yet because I'm sure it will develop with time and experience.
So as long as you have the desire to learn, you will see the difference.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had a time traveling machine, then? on: April 30, 2023, 03:13:19 PM
I won't decide to go back in time just because I want to own a lot of bitcoins.
I prefer to stay in the present and continue what I started because changing the past means changing the present and it doesn't mean we can get where we want.
Maybe we think that by going back to the past, we can collect lots of bitcoins or buy them at cheap prices, but are we the only ones who will do this? Certainly not.
There must be other people who have the same desire because they already know the present events, which will make the bitcoin journey different from what it is now.
And maybe things will not be as we see now, where we can still try to get bitcoins and have that opportunity.
But that's up to each person because we all have different goals.
724  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: April 30, 2023, 01:47:19 PM
Some phishing websites are almost perfect as the original, good enough to still fool people that are cautious and ready when browsing the net, those crappy phishing websites are from hungry online scammers, they rush things up and use small amounts of money on graphic design, they can't keep up with the design so they go with something less attractive which makes them easier to spot for people.

When it comes to phishing links, there is no, "I know how to identity a phishing link", you still have to be careful and don't ever believe you are smart, always cross check first because those bastards are getting smarter every day, don't let your guard down.
But with minimalist graphic design, they can still get goals from which they can take their money.
We may wonder how it can happen but it really happened and they can even make an application that is almost the same as the original so that the ordinary person won't know the difference.
This has happened in many places, even for applications made by large companies. Some have imitated it to obtain personal customer data.
If we are not careful when surfing the internet, we can become the next victim and will miss a lot of things so therefore, we must always be careful when online.
Don't be tempted by something still unclear; always look for other information to find the truth.
725  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I have Traveled on all Thailand and Spending only Crypto! on: April 30, 2023, 12:02:50 PM
It's best to be careful contacting the person @OP refers to as that person is on Telegram.
Not that I suspect him but we know many scammers are looking for their victims from Telegram and we also don't know who he really is.
If someone wants to travel to another place and use or exchange his bitcoins, he must have already exchanged his bitcoins before he started his journey.
And I'm sure that people who have already converted their bitcoin to fiat already have their favorite places even if they don't want to travel anywhere else.
726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin continue to safe life in the face of financial crisis on: April 30, 2023, 04:14:13 AM
Bitcoin can be a life savior but in that case, they will also find it difficult to exchange their bitcoins because they have to find a shop that accepts bitcoins, especially in the desert.
Everything will be useless if he still won't able to use his bitcoins even though he managed to get a lot of bitcoins from donations that are very far from where they are.
And this requires the government's participation to legalize bitcoin as an option for payment so that if people cannot access the bank and make transactions, they can still buy something at a shop that accepts bitcoins to survive.
Bitcoin still needs approval from the government to be used more widely; hopefully, that will happen soon before the crisis hits all countries.
727  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading Crypto (instead of Forex) on: April 28, 2023, 03:02:11 PM
If you had mastered forex trading prior to delving into cryptocurrency, you would likely have gained a deeper understanding and might have viewed your time in forex as less valuable. Cryptocurrency, being decentralized, digital, and cyclical, offers a distinct and more rewarding experience. Furthermore, I believe that the utilization and trading of cryptocurrencies are simpler to comprehend.
When a trader has the appropriate tools, trading can be made simple. We also need to comprehend the full foundation of trading. A trader decides which trading sector to participate in, such as the cryptocurrency or forex markets. It's crucial to master the area of Forex, and trading requires a working knowledge of both technical and fundamental analysis. Cryptocurrency uses straightforward terms and strategies, as well as spot and future trading, cryptocurrency is much easier to understand than forex.
A forex trader might not take too long to adapt to crypto trading but on the other hand, a crypto trader must first adapt to forex trading because many trading instruments must be understood.
I experienced that when I tried to watch my friend trade in forex trading because forex trading is more complicated than crypto trading.
But maybe some people can understand how to trade forex well so they don't experience difficulties.
And it will all depend on how we can learn about trading forex or crypto so we will choose which one we like.
728  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: April 28, 2023, 12:18:57 PM
A little advice not to chase promotional bonuses if you object to the existing requirements and don't push your abilities just for a bonus.
That's right, there are gamblers that are into these promos and bonuses but don't agree to the things that are being required of them to become eligible for the bonuses.
While they're encouraged on how much it is that shall be given if they're eligible but when they start to see the requirements being said by the casino, they're being discourage and tries to complain that it shouldn't be part of it but, they can't help and complain with it since it's the casino's rule and promotional and they just need to obey if they want to be part of it.
If they dont want to agree in terms and obligation to qualify for that said bonuses then best for them not to gamble in that site or never
to gamble anywhere , because that is why it is called bonus because there is
a obligation together with that.
do you think that company like gambling business will just hand over us money?
of course in this they need to make it harder or even use that chance to earn more from us.
gambling will always be gamble and yes this is risky and needs mindful ideas.
But of course, some casinos won't burden their members just for the sake of detaining or delaying gamblers from getting their money from the bonus.
And if there is such a casino, it can earn a good reputation because the casino does not put any requirements to pass.
And, of course, gamblers will also be happy to keep playing at the casino and use more of their money.
But as gamblers, it is our duty always to ensure all the casino's requirements so we don't run into problems later.
729  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbook offering VAR market on: April 28, 2023, 04:20:57 AM
VAR technology has started to be implemented since the 2021/2022 season, where it can improve the overall performance of match monitoring technology.
And as long as the people watching him through the VAR technology can be completely honest, I think the match will also be honest and no cheating can happen.
Having cameras on all sides of the field will be able to monitor the match properly and the slightest cheating can be detected to minimise violations.
But I don't know what the gamblers' reaction will be if, for example, one goal is cancelled because of cheating that has occurred but that can make the match fair.
You can read this article again to see how VAR is:

730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The psychology of betting..... on: April 27, 2023, 11:41:24 AM
I don't see a pattern in playing gambling and just press the "bet" or "Spin" button and then submit to the results that will come out.
If I just pay attention or make a pattern, I'm afraid I won't be able to enjoy gambling itself and will only waste my time gambling.
But I guess some gamblers do it because they have their own reasons and we can't blame them because it's their choice.
I also often hit the "Auto 50x, 100x, or other" button and just sit back, enjoy my coffee, and watch the results.
Whether the pattern exists or is just our imagination, our job is only to enjoy gambling as a temporary pleasure and when it's all over, we have to stop.
731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inflation may have driven me to this, bitcoin has the power to reverse it on: April 27, 2023, 08:47:04 AM
~ i must make money in bitcoin henceforth. It is making me aggressively learning how to make money through investments and bitcoin is my top choice for trading and holding.
When Bitcoin has a positive effect on their finances, people tend to overstated it. Bitcoin may not be the best option for you if you want to make big money and quick returns. There are plenty alternative options.
We all really want to make more money and we are lucky to meet bitcoin which can be a source of income or can be said as a long term investment.
Maybe that's not exaggerating because many people already make money after going through a process.
There are indeed many alternative options for making money.
Since we are on the bitcoin forum, we are talking about bitcoin, which has provided an opportunity for many people to have short, medium and long term investments.
This makes many of us able to make money so we still use bitcoin as a tool to make money.
And even though the amount of income we get varies, that doesn't make us stop because we believe that our income will also be large one day.

If this trend scares you, choose casinos that ask for KYC at the time of registration, not after you win. Of course, this is not a guarantee that the casino will be honest or will not delay the payment of winnings.
I would advise to play only in reputable casinos with a good reputation and always be ready to go through KYC.
I've been following what you suggest to play in reputable casinos for a long time and luckily, I've verified my account in several casinos in this forum.
I don't really like KYC but I have to accept it because it's a requirement set by the casino so I have to obey it if I still want to gamble at the casino.
After all, I think casinos will always protect personal data from customers, especially if it is their personal document.

snip

That's really happening, in some instances when you play and win small amount KYC is not required and the house will let you transfer your money, in my own take it's a strategy that brings gamblers to play and when they'll win decent amount of winnings, then they will experience the problem, before they can transfer the money KYC will be asked.

Common thing here is when they ask why all of the sudden they need to submit personal information, they will simply be referred to user agreement which commonly not being read by the gambler.
So winning a small amount will be better than winning big than being asked to do KYC because it will definitely make us feel disappointed.
But if we are comfortable playing at the casino, it's better for us to immediately verify our account so that no more problems will arise later.
If the casino writes the rules but is not read by the gamblers, it is the fault of the gambler for not checking all the rules.
734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: April 26, 2023, 03:18:57 PM
~
With a good source of information I'm sure AI will beat them but in terms of emotions things that only human experts can play and weight the possibilities, there's something that still needed to consider unforeseen cases that might affect how AI will decide with their recommendations, the good thing here is you can use AI recommendation or you can go to the other-side.

Something that you'll going to be against the favorite, which is most of the time I believe that AI will provide after sorting all the available information around.

Expecting that with all available information provided AI will always be right in its predictions is not wise. We shouldn't rule out the possibility of a team winning against all the odds. The question is, will AI predictions be more cumulatively more accurate than those of the human experts? I think, we are less than a year from the time when AI will beat humans in this regard.
But before AI can provide recommendations, we must check the accuracy of the information provided by AI, especially considering that AI still needs to be developed even better in the current situation.
I wouldn't put too much hope in AI until it could show me possibly more accurate information than I could find.
We can't still depend on AI for now. Moreover, we have seen how AI answers something we ask, so we should stick to what we have done before in betting on sports betting.
By continuing to use the methods that we are used to, maybe the chance of victory that we can hope for will also be greater, but we can also keep an eye on AI projects in the gambling sector so that we can know their progress.
735  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lets Brain storm on how to limit losses... on: April 26, 2023, 07:53:08 AM
I think greed made me suffer losses because I didn't immediately take profits when the price increased high but instead waited for the price to increase again.
I often forget that if the price has managed to increase several times, it will decrease again and whether it returns to the previous low or gets a small correction, the price will decrease.
But that doesn't make me sell the coin instead of holding on for the next big win and I'll only regret it in the end.
But that's not all because sometimes I make an incorrect analysis so that I enter the market at the wrong time which causes me to suffer losses before the price can reverse direction and give me a small profit.
But I still try to prevent myself from making mistakes again and even though it's difficult, I still have to try it to get the benefits I want.

Gambling addict will not listen easily, they are drowning on their greed and they need proper assistance and medication, I'm talking about the worst case scenario of being addict in gambling. As much as possible, you have to help yourself if you are still in the early stage of addiction, it's not too late for you. These reminders are being posted here repeatedly and I'd hope that many are already aware about the possible risk of gambling and the threat of its addiction. If you can help someone who are into gambling, please do so because you can save his/her life by guiding them slowly but surely.
It’s certain that gambling addicts are not on their right thinking anymore. Instead of controlling their gambling activities, they even push their selves to the maximum limit just to be satisfied with their greed. So threads like this would not be helpful anymore. But what these gamblers literally needed are their family and friends to help them in their worst phase in life, if they can’t achieved that, maybe the help of medical practitioners would be the last option.
If it is a friend or one of our family, we should try to help him escape his gambling addiction.
Even though it may be hard, we still have to try.
Indeed gambling addicts will not think about curing their addiction instead they will continue to play gambling to satisfy their desires and to get lots of wins.
We also certainly don't want to see their lives destroyed because of gambling addiction, so we must continue to help them cure their gambling addiction.
738  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Self-moderated]Bitcointalk Gambling Problem Support Group on: April 25, 2023, 07:20:14 AM
As long as they want to share their problems with us here, we can provide solutions that they can do to overcome disappointment or express their sadness.
But some people don't want to share their disappointments and keep them inside because they think it would disgrace their pride if they shared it with other people.
Hopefully, people who have experienced sadness while playing gambling can express their feelings and get advice from us to experience prolonged sadness.
Maybe I am a gambler who still wants to learn to control myself when I play gambling because I feel is if I lose, I still have the desire to continue playing and that causes me to suffer more losses.
But I knew if I wanted to cut down on my gambling time, I had to work on having good self-control like everyone else.

This is what I do:
When I'm not gambling, I try to do many things like listening to lots of songs while doing physical activity, travelling to other places with my friends, or other things that have nothing to do with gambling.
My experience in gambling is not that great because sometimes I win and vice versa so I try not to be too sad because winning and losing are part of gambling.
739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much these features weigh most when you choose your favorite casino? on: April 25, 2023, 03:21:33 AM
Indeed, many casinos do not implement KYC when registering, which makes gamblers want to try the new casinos that have sprung up.
But the problem arises when they want to withdraw their winnings, where gamblers will immediately be asked to do KYC.
Many gamblers feel cheated by these regulations even though they are on the ToS page in casinos and many gamblers don't read them carefully.
But casinos still allow gamblers who win small money to withdraw their winnings and do not require gamblers to do KYC.
