1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokens for promoting Early Investment Period on: August 10, 2017, 09:02:26 PM
So you mean you will not launch your platform because you can not launch a referral system with proper propositions, what you have not?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it too late to buy NEO? on: August 10, 2017, 08:47:34 PM
Now, it is too late, it will calm down, this is something sure, , nothing even the might Ethereum ever rose constantly without dropping. And if you really want to buy that at this moment, do it, but not before it dropped significally.

No, Sorry,

I should have been a bit clearer.

Has any [Suspicious link removed]pany used set-aside tokens before as a reward to introducing investors? Like a referral program?

what would be the thoughts on this from a negative and positive point of view.

Referral program is a bad idea I guess, or at least do not use this word, it makes you look scammy instantly! I get your point. Frankly I have no precise ICO coming back to my mind that used this system. Oh yes! I got one. Wings did it if I remember correctly. For me it looks good or bad depending the way it is presented and how much is given. If that is too much it looks scammy.

If your question is that if any other blockchain startup already made a pre-ICO, answer is yes.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: To Buy BCH or not to Buy BCH? on: August 10, 2017, 08:20:54 PM
If you plan to buy this shit, at least wait before Poloniex release their BCH to its users. BCH supply will double in a second, and price will plumet once all of this will have been sold!
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do your children a favour and save bitcoin NOW on: August 10, 2017, 08:16:32 PM
Oh, you mean that it can be useful in case of hard need? I rather thought you meant to do life savings in bitcoins rather than buying a cement house that will be broken at the next Katrina, but you are also probably right!
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SHOPEO - DECENTRALISED E-COMMERCE ON ETHEREUM - ICO LIVE on: August 10, 2017, 12:46:44 PM
I just invested 1 ETH! Good luck to this ICO, one of the very best! It is slowly accumulating, that is good!

Good day sir Aleksander! I saw you made the post update for first week. Sadly was busy doin' other things. I promise I will do the 50 posts (that would be silly not doing it coz it will be so profitable)!

Mastering Shopeo

Any question you had about Shopeo will find its answer here !

Wow that's truly awesome bro! I feel proud of wearing your signature, and my wallet also! Grin I am feeling like those SHP tokens will be worth much more in the future... Roll Eyes
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH Valuation? on: August 05, 2017, 10:41:03 AM
The price will plumet as the time will pass. People could not sell their tokens because of a fuckingly slow network, but be sure when stocks will be sold out, it will not be very high.

I've never seen this before, this is new, right?
There's been a few updates lately.
Not sure how old it is, but for examle the profile pages have been updated recently aswell (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile).
Recently created topics ("Show the last topics started by this person.") were not available via direct link before.

I just saw the part about the topics that I created. I was wondering if I just did not pay attention until this day or if it was new, and it seems this new. But I am surprised that except this I saw no other mention of this, which is for me a great addon !

I do not think signature campaign are the problem, because since YoBit died, there is no very lucrative signature campaign not controlling what the users are posting. This is for me quite monitored. Problem is that there is lots of new people coming, and those need some time to adapt. Could you show us an exemple of what you have in mind so we could discuss about this precise case ?
15  Other / Meta / Re: Now people with a lower rank that Full Member can have an avatar ? on: January 02, 2017, 06:05:54 PM
Who are the guys you are are talking about?

Without their profiles will be hard to know what could be

I was talking about TraderBill. But I've found the reason of why he has an avatar while being ranked lower than Full Member. Check the above posts if you want the answers !
16  Other / Meta / Re: Now people with a lower rank that Full Member can have an avatar ? on: December 19, 2016, 10:50:03 AM
Maybe he went to Full Member and saw a lot of his posts deleted and was able to keep the avatar ?
That is also a possibility. If you look into their post history, you can see a fair amount of posts are just '.' (second page). This means that the user has likely edited their posts. Those eventually get reported and deleted making their activity drop (unless they create new posts).

Wel,, I think we found the reason for that strangeness. So you confirm that if some Full Member lose its rank, he will keep its avatar ?

IIRC Heros even keep their rank when their activity drops below the Hero requirement.

Interesting. I'll keep this post in mind and when I'll reach the Hero Member rank, I'll delete one of my posts and see what happens !

So I finally found an exemple by randomly crossing the forum. That user, TraderBill, has a recent account, created after the problems that led to the temporal desactivation, has a rank lower than Full Member and wear an avatar Huh.

Maybe he went to Full Member and saw a lot of his posts deleted and was able to keep the avatar ?
19  Other / New forum software / Re: Next beta phase on: November 26, 2016, 10:25:06 AM
Before which point must it be done ? I wouldn't like to lose my account Undecided...

According to this you won't need a valid email to move your account to the finished version, only to test the beta.

Although I'd check that with a staff member before relying on it in case things have changed.

err.... any way to get my password reset without an email?

No. You could create a separate account using a throwaway email service.

With the final version, there will be a way to move your account without having a valid email.

Well, unamis76 and you don't agree. I'm not at all interested in testing the beta or whatever else. I'll move to the "new" forum when that'll be mandatory. I hope that at that time I will be able to use a throwaway email account as theymos said.

That's good that this reminder has been set in place. As for exemple, I don't have a valid working email address. Until when can I create one ?

You'll have to link your account to a new email I presume, just create one, no ?
Or do you need access to the old one to link the account to a new one?

Good luck with that any way but for the rest of us this is exciting news Cheesy

Yeah, that's a simple process, but I feel very lazy. In my mind, creating an email address is associated with a big pain Tongue. Anyway, I'll do it when I'll have some time. Before which point must it be done ? I wouldn't like to lose my account Undecided...
