522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: January 30, 2017, 10:27:06 AM
I am just wondering if you still would gamble if you would have enough money? I mean, now as it is, do you gamble for the fun or for the profit?

If money would not be a problem, then I guess there is no reason for me to gamble anymore. Instead of doing this not really important thing, I'd rather to do something that is legit to earn money and not that risky like gambling. For example, I would try some business that I can manage to have a stable source of income so that I can save enough money to be use in the near future, preparing to have my own family, stuffs like that.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Losses on: January 30, 2017, 09:23:50 AM
As a casual gambler i'm curious how you guys handle your own losses whether it's from dice , sportsbetting , slots or other gambling games..
I want to know your own way of dealing with it.

Losing in gambling is natural, because there is no way that you are always going to win in gambling because it have a house edge, which causes the players to lose and win every roll. But if you are addicted on gambling and don't have any control on it, then losing will just annoy you and probably going to bet all your money in a reckless way because the only thing that is in your mind is to win all back the money that you have lost.

In my own way of gambling, being a loser in the end of the day is not a big deal to me, because I'm always thinking that maybe it is not the right day for me to win, there is always a right time, all we have to do is to wait for that right time while keep on trying, because quitting would just going to make us miserable in a way.
524  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a bot for trading? on: January 30, 2017, 04:08:30 AM
I thought it would be interesting to know if you guys use a bot to trade bitcoin or altcoins..

Whether or not you do, if you were to make one, what rules would it based on?

I don't use one myself.. but am looking to get one built, and would welcome any suggestions on features and rules that you think would work..

Thanks!

This would be difficult, I think. Because using a bot doesn't assures us that it will work good for a long time. Bot can be damage by viruses and some bugs that will come out after some time. Using it in trading is so risky that you may lose all your Trading coins or maybe your bitcoin, don't you think? It would be better if you will do Trading manually for you to be in the safe side, and can be sure that you will not lose any Altcoins or your bitcoin. Also, for you to be sure that you won't face any consequences in the future.
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy a car with bitcoin on: January 28, 2017, 05:06:56 AM
Never heard of this also. It would be better to buy cars personally rather to buy it online using bitcoin right? because buying it personally have a really large difference than buying it online. In personal, you can inspect the car if there are any damages or any problems, while in online, you can only see and inspect the car by its appearance, and not the whole car, just my opinion.
526  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: January 27, 2017, 04:06:22 AM
Is it possible to do money laundering via bitcoin? I mean as no one knows if you have bitcoin and how much bitcoin do you actually own, it could be used to convert black money to white right? Or at least store your black money without much hassle. But there is the risk of its value but I think for people who have lots of black money and don't want to be caught, this risk might be worth taking for them isn't it?
What are your thoughts?

Of course laundering via bitcoin is also possible, especially because bitcoin is anonymous, then, the criminals or anyone that is doing illegal things here in the virtual world will take this advantage, for them to freely do whatever they want even though they will cause harms or problems in their country. They will continue on doing it because the they are only thinking for themselves and not the other people lives that they might destroy because of their illegal deeds.
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: January 27, 2017, 03:26:15 AM
Hey Guys,

what would be your opinion if there would been Bitcoin shops in big cities like London, Berlin or Paris (also smaller cities).
So you could go inside the shop and buy or sell Bitcoin for a good price.

I think it would be an good (and an advantage) idea because more people would use Bitcoin so the price would rise up and the people who are owning Bitcoins at the moment would have more money in Bitcoins. Wink

Best regards,

Patrick Smiley

You mean, a shop who accepts both fiat and bitcoin? If yes, then it would be a really great idea because for me, accepting bitcoin as a payment will gives you a larger profit than accepting only fiat. Bitcoins price is always fluctuating but it not getting lower than $800 which is good than before, so if a certain store will accept bitcoin as a payment right now and will save all the bitcoin, I'm sure that that store will have a really big profit when bitcoins hits its highest peak.
528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit Gambling for Good, think for your loved ones on: January 25, 2017, 02:48:00 PM
Some of what you say here is true but that doesnt mean gambling will ruin your life. If you have an addictive personality and cannot control when to stop gambling, then yes you prob shouldnt gamble. If you have self control and just wanna toss a few dollars around here n there then youll be fine.

Indeed right, the only problem is those people who are highly addictive on gambling and not just gambling itself. Because if you do have self-discipline about this thing, then you shouldn't worry about being broke or something that may cause harm on your family, but, if you are a gambling addict, then, it is better if you will quit gambling before it is too late.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: January 24, 2017, 02:23:46 PM
Tell your wife or mother that you have a gambling problem. For sure they will always look and see what you are doing and they will always ask you if your back gambling. That will surely make you stop because you want their annoyance to stop. Cheesy

Yes, this is a better idea rather than keeping this problem just by yourself because that is really insane. Keeping too much problem and suffering it all alone could make a people insane, and the worst scenario would be committing suicide. If you really want to quit gambling, then you should change yourself first, know all the mistakes that you have made in your whole life  and start to change that, because the change will always begin on ourselves. Instead of doing gambling, spend your time on your family mostly, hangout and go out of town for a new start. In this way, you could easily quit gambling without any bad circumstances facing.

531  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign vs social media campaign, which is more effective? on: January 22, 2017, 01:47:43 PM
It is both effective to be honest. Doing signature campaign and Social media campaign are just contributing something on the success of a project of a certain coin(the Cryptocurrencies), but in different aspects and ways. In the Social media campaign like twitter and facebook, this way, people that have no idea about Cryptocurrencies would be inform that such thing exist, since most of the people right now only knows cash, while in the signature campaign the people that they are informing are those people knows cryptocurrencies and the ones that do social media campaigns.
532  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins are lost forever? on: January 22, 2017, 01:24:16 PM
That is an interesting question but unfortunately there is no way to ever know.  I am sure a lot of people got in at the beginning and became bored of it and just left or forgot about their wallets.  If only they could be recovered and distrubted to all!  Grin  That would be sweet!

I guess it would be better to do signature campaign than to find this lost bitcoin, right? Because like what you have said, there is no way to find those lost bitcoin in the internet, maybe there is, but I am sure that it is one of a kind process to find those bitcoins. It would just consume so much of our time and ended up with nothing. It would be better if we are just going to focus on the things that we are doing to earn bitcoin, to replace the lost bitcoin that we had.
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest way to convert money into BTC? on: January 19, 2017, 11:47:43 AM
(Assuming that your partner is not a BTC holder already, how do you have him exchange his money into BTC?)
Well, if he is your friend, then the easiest way to convert his fiat into bitcoin is to directly accepts his fiat if you are going to do your transaction personally and give him the bitcoin that he will buy to you. In this way he can easily have his bitcoin and start to do something to multiply it.
534  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: January 16, 2017, 08:47:34 AM
Bitcoin is decentralized, so basically no one control Bitcoin, but the network.
do a search on google, and you will find more information

Bitcoin network don't have any owner also the same as bitcoin itself. Bitcoin network is a network which compose of people who are using bitcoin, of course this network compose of, buyers, investors and normal bitcoin users like those people who are earning bitcoins as a living. Because if bitcoin and bitcoin network have someone who owns it, I think it vanished a long time ago because of the problem that can't handle by the owner, well, just my opinion.
535  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: January 15, 2017, 10:23:31 AM
Bitcoin bank would not be bad, but I don't think that it is really necessary to have one. Since bitcoin could be converted into fiat without and with a less profit for the online that our bitcoin are being restored, then, I guess there is no reason to have bitcoin bank since we are just going to withdraw our fiat in bank after we converted it. Bitcoin bank would just take advantage to us and would have high exchanging profit since they are the only bitcoin bank and people could withdraw easily from them.
536  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How to Do Mining In Windows on: January 15, 2017, 09:35:00 AM
Asking it on Google would be more convenient for you because the answer for your question would be given right away by google, compare on asking in this forum which take some time for someone to find this thread and answer your question, which would be time consuming, don't you think? And besides, mining bitcoin requires a lot of money for the hardware that you are going to use and the electricity that you are going to pay and you must have also a stable internet connection. Mining bitcoin on windows would just waste your time because cloud mining is not really enough to mine a lot of bitcoins.
537  Economy / Speculation / Re: I will not Die Untill Bitcoin will reach at Least 50K on: January 15, 2017, 08:56:47 AM
I am sure they can never be $50k per 1 bitcoin. It is unbelievable.

Maybe it is possible to reach bitcoin in $50K, though he needs to exercise and eat healthy foods for him to witness the bitcoin reach $50K LOL. On the other side, bitcoin would be really impossible to reach that amount of price per bitcoin, $50K is really unreachable. I think the chance of bitcoin on going that high is 0.000001 percent. I'm not being pessimistic about this, but it is really hard to happen.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your biggest bitcoin regrets? on: January 15, 2017, 08:19:16 AM
The only thing that I'm regretting until now about bitcoin is that I have exchanged my bitcoin in $900 per bitcoin and suddenly it changed in $1100 which was really annoying. I'm annoyed in myself until now because I have lost many money, If I just waited a little bit more then I should have a bigger profit right now.  Undecided Sad
539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the classroom, yes or no and why? on: January 15, 2017, 07:55:43 AM
This is for a personal writing project I'm working on. I imagine that Bitcoin would be good for things like teaching things like math with decimals ("How many Satoshis do you need to get a tenth of a Bitcoin?", stuff like that), budgeting (Spend it on whatever you want, but when it's gone, it's gone), or even a little bit of IT / programming stuff like how cryptography works. What do you guys think of this?

I think it would just make math more complicated when bitcoin would be teach in school like this "teaching things like math with decimals ("How many Satoshis do you need to get a tenth of a Bitcoin?", stuff like that)," Am I right?. It would be okay if bitcoin would be teach on what it is really are, and not be applied on different subjects like math. Teaching how bitcoin works, and the ways on how you can earn it is the best to teach in school, just my opinion.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: January 03, 2017, 12:18:27 PM
In a way yes, if we are going to compare gambling and trading, we can considered Trading as gambling because the risk that we are taking in Trading is almost the same that we are taking in gambling, but not as big like the risk in gambling. In Trading the only problem that we are thinking of is being scam by someone while in gambling the only problem that we are thinking of is losing and the strategy that we are going to use, for us to win.
