Did we get 7 days or 9?

Divs were paid for Saturday the 8th through Monday the 17th.  So 9 days.

That means that this coming Saturday's dividends are going to suck in comparison.  Smiley

I can imagine that the approach to dividends today is "measure twice, cut once"  Tongue

What do you mean by that?

Googled that for you

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=measure%20twice%2C%20cut%20once

It is in reference to the issues arising from last weeks *ahem* dividend distro-aster

The last trade for LRM was BTC .066 per bond for current hash rate of .318 GH/s

Cex.io is currently selling 1gh/s for BTC .0338( 3 times the hash rate for half BTC cost)

Is LRM still good value against Cex.io?

Does anyone have the cumulative return that LRM has made so far per share?

Consider my post here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=251423.msg4709302;topicseen#msg4709302

Basically, by that reasoning, for bond value to be on par with (i.e. keeping up with) difficulty changes since first issue, LRM should be hashing near 560TH.

Hence my previous comment.... 180 TH in March is a great start, but if the model is as sustainable as it is intended to be, then we need to see a path to 8.6 PH in one year based on 20% compounded network growth. Hey, don't get me wrong, I HOPE that the network will stop the madness at some point, but such hope is driven by the speculation as to so many variables that it defies any reasonable sensitivity analysis..... So, what is the plan? Do we intend to maintain, grow... die or live in hope?
113  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: February 01, 2014, 10:53:22 PM
Dividends went out.  To those of you who received a small amount or 0 remember that this week as well as a few people in weeks to come are repaying last weeks overpayment.

Mined: BTC31.80006408
Payout: BTC23.85004806
Per Bond: BTC0.000405668

These will see a slight increase this week despite the upcoming diff increase hopefully as I'm adding more hardware.

The coming weeks will be on the low side as is expected, but with an immenent ~180TH by the first or second week of March this will change rather abruptly.

Altcoin update:

NMC: 3567.86305903
IXC: 887.61781214
DVC: 32278.45217148

Reffered GHS: 9.45163718

Quick back of the spreadsheet calculations based on an assumed +20% difficulty step rate results in an estimated difficulty of 4,582,549,082 on reaching 180 TH/s which would yield a dividend level of BTC0.001779661 per bond..... looking forward to that!

LR, please comment on what is in the pipeline after March? With the plethora of 28 nm gear due on the market at that point will be begin to see monthly deployments of hardware?

From March forward do you intend to grow our % of the network or is it your expectation that we will "tread water" or go backwards? Note that I reference the % of the network and not the amount of deployed hashrate. Based on a constant 20% rate of increase in difficulty our 180 TH/s will need to be 8.6 PH/s after 26 steps just to be par....

.... Second, let us know if you do decide to sell old BFL gear.  I'd be interested, if the price is reasonable.  (i.e. There would have to be a reasonable chance that I could make back the cost)  Although if you're getting power as cheap as you say, it might make more sense for you to keep them.

My 2 satoshis is that we first sell old gear in the open market for the highest possible value in order to recapitalize it to new gear at LRM's advantaged rates. No sense passing along old gear to bondholders at discounts to market rates if we can convert that gear into hashrate for the benefit of all.

Keep up the good work, can't wait for the next big announcement.

Thank you, and there's one coming up real soon.  For obvious reasons I'm not giving a date.  Wink

Heh - it seems like most of the pitchforks are turned back to their agrarian purpose......

Thanks Zach - looking forward to the Next Big Thing

Is there a timeframe for this that I missed?

Yes - there is a timeframe you missed - from OP: "our chips are still on track of delivery in March"

I see a new batch of rookies getting fried in the gold rush. Smiley The people that know how to trade know the rules. Buy on roumors, sell on news.

Congrats for adopting phrases, newbies / cheapsters. You seem to have no idea what will happen (or you do, trying to talk the price down).
We'll talk again in April. Smiley

I will hold all my shares.

As a AM bull I have to agree with papi. Every time fc makes a post price spikes and then steadily decreases until next announcement. Still 0.6/share could be a great deal if all goes well. I can see 1btc/share easily.

Theres always money to make in speculation the question is where the market will settle it down at after the news announcement

Hmmmm - indeed - lets see where this settles - its certainly not over

Nobody is so busy that they release what should be a monumental press release and the go AFK for 4 days. Just answer the questions lab-rat the longer the wait goes on the more it seems like you just dumped LRM for a job on the coinseed project.

I'm afraid I agree with this.  There're too many ways to interpret that "news" for there to be 0 clarification forthcoming.  What's the holdup.  I get that you're busy but c'mon.  Say something. Anything.

We all have our weaknesses and our strengths..... being in a leadership role means you need to self identify those strengths and weakenesses and then manage them accordingly. Clearly there is a weakness in LRM with respect to a communications plan and working that plan effectively. (no offence grnbrg - this post is not about you Wink So, do you just try harder when it comes to your weaknesses? No, you invest in your strengths and delegate the weaknesses. Don't get me wrong, a weakness is not a character flaw or some personal deficit. Its just something you are not good at. Get some more resources in the communications area Zach - focus on your strengths for the good of yourself and all the bondholders. Its not like you are going to be less busy in the coming months. We need you to nail the next steps from operations perspective.
