why the need for blockchain in organizational management? There are plenty of tools to depict organizational and reporting structures, to plan workforce requirements and personnel costs etc.
All of those introduce unnecessary intermediaries, they have a central point of failure, they are not tamper-proof, the service provider, a government or even a malicious actor within the organization can have access to tamper with the data as well as the high costs of operating that are introduced by those tools/platforms. The use of blockchain and smart contacts enables more efficient and cheaper management of organizations in a borderless, transparent manner where anyone in the world with just Internet access can take control of their financial lives in their own hands. |

No, absolutely no affiliation with the two projects. I have taken a look in this project. Did some reading. And I still don't understand what can be done with ANT tokens? Apart from p&d actions, what would effect its pricing? I see on this blogpost, that the company bought back some of the tokens to distribute on actions like bug bounties, or paying some freelance employees. But those are not the main business of the company, rather means to their business. What I'm currious about is how would this company's vision/business success or failure will effect the tokens? Btw, from where I stand, I don't think there is a chance that founders would just take away the ico funds and dissappear. They are and apparently will be working on this project, but as I said, I don't understand the needs for tokens (apart from dev funding) in this scenario. It could have made sense if the tokens somehow reflect some amount of company shares but they have stated that it's not the case. Seems too complicated to me, I still don't understand wholly, how will the tokens be used, hence, what would effect token price in positive or negative way. That is what I and probably anyone interested in any coin would look for before making an investment. The ANT token is a utility token, it will be used to govern the Aragon Network. Token holders will gradually receive control over the Network, they will be able to create proposals and vote on the outcome of those votings. In the end, the token holders will be completely in charge of governing the Network, which includes deciding on what to do with the funds that the Network will hold. That is the end goal, a decentralized autonomous organization that runs the platform with the users/token holders in charge. What's this that I read, Luis and Jorge are selling more ANT? A second-round ICO?
To think that once I believed in this project -and in Luis and Jorge- enough to actually invest on it? Just another money-grab scheme, I'm afraid, just that. Wow.

I was just about to purchase ANT today but am concerned about the massive increase in volume without any price change. Are additional coins in circulation being added?

For now, no new coins will be added to the total supply, when the Aragon Network launches and the governance is gradually moved over to the token holders, they can, for example, create a proposal and vote on minting new tokens, so it is a possibility sometime in the future, but not anytime soon. The circulating supply will change a little bit as the vesting schedule cliffs happen, at the time(s) a portion of the tokens under vesting will be added to the circulating supply. The founders have 2 year vesting with 6 month cliffs, so the first batch, 25% of the founders tokens will be released to them six months after the token sale. |

Several blockchains have messaging functionality, a Twitter-like platform would be a pretty easy step from there, especially for Ethereum. The only potential problem would be the need to pay gas to tweet, which, I highly doubt anyone would be willing to do that. But judging from the (relative) success of Twitter itself, I have to imagine someone will soon try to imitate it in the blockchain space.
That's why Ethereum has the Whisper protocol, so messaging doesn't cost but can be used in tandem with the blockchain. |

I was searching the web for a list of the best Ethereum protocol apps and couldn't find much. Can you guys post here the ones that you know and some info about what is does? I know that many of them targeted online gambling and was trying to find apps that do other things, like http://www.trekmiles.com/ or one that is a payment system, for instance. I suggest to follow wetrust, ICO has won the trophy oscar blockchain, and a good roadmap.

Have an issue with one 1060 of my rig, system just hanging when it mining with Genoil miner, so how can I figure out which one 1060 is making troble? Is any way to see miner log after system is hanged and rebooted?
Still have an issue with mining rig, getting an error - X 22:40:23|cudaminer3 Error CUDA mining: unknown errorCUDA error in func 'ethash_cuda_miner::search' at line 346 : unknown error. What's the problem, I don't understand  If you want to see which one is causing the troubles, just run them one at a time with --cuda-devices. The issue might be too much OC or a faulty riser. |

Anyone else noticed the bug in ethminer generating DAG files? When trying to generate DAG file for any block larger than 3870000, it will only produce a 0-size file. Try this: It will run just of a few seconds, generate 0-bytes file "full-R23-3868abc5dcee2334" and exit. This has now been fixed by Ethereum core devs. @Genoil or whoever is still maintaining various ethminer forks: make sure to include this patch, or else ethminers will simply "die" after block block 3870000. Good catch! Thanks for bringing it up, there's still some time for miner devs to get the fix in. |

Golem(GNT) all time high for no reason/news, is it pump/dump? any news why GNT up on this day ?
No news, but some other junk coins are up nowadays, why GNT can't be up? It could also be that the fact that the platform is maturing and closing in on a milestone or just the fact that ETH is gaining a lot of traction and thus also the tokens in the ecosystem are getting attention, or a combination of both |

Is there any idea who or how will use Golem supercomputer's computing power? Will it be a "general" supercomputer or will it have niche or niches? Providing supercomputing power is nice, but I think most niches could use some application examples or design-pattern, at least.
I think it's at least CPU first, probably both, but i don't have definitive info on that. The first milestone for Golem is the Brass Golem, in which there will be a integration with Blender rendering, so 3D artists can buy computing power to render their work. But in the end i think it's Golem's goal so that basically anyone can buy and sell their computing resources for any use. Going to be CPU and/or GPU capacity? That is actually a very cool idea. 3D rendering surely takes alot of computing power. And 3D art is not the only area where 3D rendering is needed. Let us think about the 3D models in healthcare and science. With this technology, doctors could create detailed 3D models and in parallel send it to other experts for examinations. Yeah, it's really interesting to see which fields will be adopting Golem for actual usage. |
