Actually 6 months from the crowdfunding ends on May 11th (afaik), so it's pretty close now to the first milestone.

I don't think the price pump is as a result of any fundamentals, it went up when the announcement of Shapeshift integration went public. I hope GOlem team stick to their timeline this time around

The first milestone for Golem is the Brass Golem, in which there will be a integration with Blender rendering, so 3D artists can buy computing power to render their work.

But in the end i think it's Golem's goal so that basically anyone can buy and sell their computing resources for any use.
