I am a strong believer in HODL. I expected bitcoin volatility decreases as time goes by, I totally didn't expect such big price change in the past several days.
Is bitcoin volatility here to stay and not decrease?
I hope the volatility stays for long, its the best playground I ever had. But I thing, has the Cap of BTC grows, we will lose volatility. The bigger the cake is, the less you fell a missing portion. I remember some hacks back the time where BTC price fall really hard, non days the price dont give a F**K about hacks... But we will see in the coming future  |

You comparing with an imaginative and non-fundamental value. The few trillions they have tiped into the world has nothing to do with what the world need.
The amount of Bitcoin, even there are over 15% frizzed, can be enough for all of us. and it will be in movement...
A salary in BTC: 0.00001Btc
A car in BTC: 0.001
A house in BTC: 0.01BTC
(speculations)
Due value is based on demand and supply (and manipulation)....
In any case, the future will give us the answers..

I don't really get what do you mean, but bitcoin is totally different from these kind of coins, because bitcoin is decentralized and others are (or will be) centralized.
There were several threads about the difference, and unfortunately the average joes don't really care if a coin is centralized or decentralized. If facebook will start the marketing for it's new 'currency' average joes will be happy to start using it, and they won't care about the background or about the technical details. People are lazy enough to just use the tools they get from somewhere and they don't really want to understand/deal with the details... Just an example, most of the people don't have a clue how the engine of the car works, they only know that they have to fill it up with gasoline and turn the ignition key, and it works, they don't care about the rest...
Bitcoin is for those who care, that's all... so I bet that libra will have much quicker adoption among everyday people then bitcoin... But this also can help bitcoin, because if people get used to use 'cryptocurrencies', they won't be afraid of bitcoin anymore, I hope...

permit me to ask this question! So total bounty pool is 46000 trx value at $1000 which by today's price is valued at $969.082 - and this pool will be split among 6 campaigns out of which signature campaign have 30% *if am not mistaken* and which has no limit to the number of participants that can join  am i mistaken or what  what is 30% of $1000 and for how many number of people Ohh boy! 30% of 1000 = 300 (on a monthly basis) there are 11 signature participants (has op has comment) 300/11 = approx 27$ a month per participant if lineal, been splited in ranks and time.... But this is just how I would do it, wait for OP to answer |
