381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Marketing Bitcoin - What age group should be the ideal target group? on: October 02, 2018, 06:26:20 AM
In any case, I believe we have to wait at least 2 more years to see blockchain Dapp`s in each phone.

when the propagation starts, will be huge!

Imagine all people using their phones to make some extra bucks a month - Imagine how fast the mobile devices will need to be charged! what a honey!

When this young 16+ generation starts the business career, then I believe we will see some amazing ideas based on good token economics.

Good day.

383  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain technology is not a trend on: October 01, 2018, 01:54:36 PM
Hi all,

Not many know about, my experience in the last year was anyway better, more people than I short are hearing about, but as you say, not about the technology.
Most of them are just fixed at the price and the fact that the price dropped has a bad thing. What a opportunity to go in!

We crypto fans are at a good position, far ahead in the game.

Good day.

Delete please

387  Economy / Services / Re: ICO Management Team on: September 29, 2018, 07:04:53 PM
Very suspicious ... You posted not much of this Bountys, you posted one as red trust...

No references on the other bounty.

The projects look also not very trustable.

Please provide proves.
388  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: NEED HELP to get back my hacked BTC on: September 29, 2018, 04:59:56 PM
Get in contact with some cybersecurity business or programmers who can track the info and maybe spot the thief.

Hacken maybe would do such a thing. Here a link to the web: https://hacken.io/

And the link to Telegram, maybe this is the place to ask: https://t.me/hacken_en

But is a difficult task if the thief is fast and accurate.

I wish all luck.
389  Economy / Economics / Re: Impact of USDC - Circle - & other Stable coins. Dangerous. on: September 29, 2018, 08:34:19 AM
I suppose, it is a lot like USDT, but from another group of people (company called Circle)? It's also about storing dollars in a bank and people owning crypto versions of dollars, right? I don't think that such coins are bad, because the current market situation is very unstable and generally bearish, so people might be interested in freezing their assets in cryptocurrency this way (since fiat-crypto exchange policies are not very nice as well). I don't trust these coins, however, because it's not safe to hold money in some real place that could be burned or robbed. Moreover, as is the case with tether, people cannot be sure that each coin truly is backed by 1 dollar and the revelation of such a thing could lead to sudden collapse.

I like your thinking, thx for sharing. I agree.
390  Other / Meta / Re: Whats up with search machine? on: September 28, 2018, 08:45:18 PM
Yeah, unfortunately DuckDuckGo doesn't return great results for the forum, and also returns a lot of the ".to" extension, which is a phishing site. If you entered your details on that site, then you need to change your password immediately.

As mentioned, including "site:bitcointalk.org" at the end of your search will limit your results to the real forum only.

I'll also just quote this post by LoyceV for anyone who is interested - to protect yourself in the future you can block your computer from accessing the ".to" site.

You can use your hosts-file to stop your computer from ever accessing that site again.

I totally fell for the cloned site, until I realized I couldn't see your trust ratings.
I have added this line to /etc/hosts
Code:
127.0.0.1       bitcointalk.to
Now my computer can't access that phishing site anymore.

https://github.com/StevenBlack/hosts (scroll down a bit to see many different categories hosts files). The one mentioned above isn't on it though, so I've added it by myself.

If you don't know how to do this: How to Edit Your Hosts File on Windows, Mac, or Linux.

this! thank you, why this problem with DuckDuck happens?
391  Local / Altcoins (criptomonedas alternativas) / Re: Stablecoins - monedas de precio fijo 1:1 USD on: September 28, 2018, 08:39:31 PM
Hola,

enserio?
392  Economy / Economics / Re: Impact of USDC - Circle - & other Stable coins. Dangerous. on: September 28, 2018, 01:00:30 PM
This spam of Stablecoins can impact the market in the short term very positive ->much more volume and Billions of "USD`S"

Prepare your selves for a nice $$ injection in the market by USDC.

But in the long run, I believe this can be very dangerous as we get a lot of manipulative power in the ecosystem.

Ah, I see Circle's new stablecoin has been launched. Gemini just launched one as well.

More will follow for sure as it basically means printing money that people might never want back, same as the 1.2 billion $ that sits quietly on the Starbucks cards.

Next will be an avalanche of other currencies like euro, pound, yen, yuan and for sure we're going to have also a large influx of scam coins by fake companies and the madness of useless alts will never end.

A stablecoin issuer, just like an exchange, could inject unbacked money into circulation.

Of course, nobody is stopping them to do otherwise.
And they could simply create a "stable" coin, buy BTC with it, sell the coins for $...and voilà the coin is backed. By their own money, made out of nothing.

Yes, And we are accepting this fact as it where normal.

But this is how things work - 0% logic

393  Economy / Economics / Re: Impact of USDC - Circle - & other Stable coins. Dangerous. on: September 28, 2018, 12:59:00 PM
It seems like your thinking is based on the ideas around tether being used to manipulate market price but the basis of that theory is that tether is not backed by real dollars. If any stable currency is backed by real dollars then they aren't creating money out of thin air, they're only doing so when there's a real demand for it and we won't have any artificial money coming in to the market and inflating it

Yeah, but you point to trust these people. I prefer trustless ways of doing things, and there are ways to create Stablecoins without a central authority

I mean, anyone can believe anything, and I don't trust this big fishes.

Would you keep your fingers away if you had the chance to have few bucks extra without much risk?
I would have problems my self to stay back and don't try to make some extra profits.

394  Local / Altcoins (criptomonedas alternativas) / Re: Stablecoins - monedas de precio fijo 1:1 USD on: September 28, 2018, 12:53:52 PM

Hi, I agree on your points.

But for upcoming months I will be actively again.
I develop I new strategy for ICO's, new variables in the game.
More or less it is about to be super selective. Low cuantity high cuality.

For now I'm looking at Vostok.
Good luck all.
397  Economy / Economics / Re: Impact of USDC - Circle - & other Stable coins. Dangerous. on: September 28, 2018, 09:11:27 AM
Yes you got it, didn't we saw something similar in December?

A lot of stablecoins coming up this days.
In any case I think this is a bullish signal.

I also wondering about Eth Ts cap, it is allredy overcrowded... Adding more and more demand could be destructive.

Maybe we see soon a waves or Eos Stablecoin.

Note: This is referred to USD "backed" StableCoins - Others like DAI still have nice fundaments.

Hello,

Today after breakfast, as usual, I started the Pc to have some fun here.

But in my surprise, while searching for the rank system, using Chrome + DuckDuckGo; the result of the searches were extremely bad.
Searching for merits because I did not found anything useful searching for "BcT Ranks" or similar.
Metamask blocked the few links what I tried - https://imgur.com/a/yCmkdCH

I wondering if this was on my end or something related to DuckDuckGo ...

Good day all.
