1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: David Chaum's XX Coin on: January 24, 2020, 11:50:21 PM
I've heard about Elixxir but it seems that it doesn't get the hype from the investors because it's not marketing at all. The guy is a very known personality in cryptography and made himself popular because of his early contributions.
ico is currently ongoing
Have you invested and took your part?
It caused by the sale is still open and it's not yet reached the hardcap which was around 15 million dollars.
Just visit the official site and you will get a notification about that
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 100% scam projects on: January 24, 2020, 03:25:53 PM
Insert the projects you know that are 100% scam ... I start HVN terminal, HBZ (helbiz)
Howdoo, ARROW, Friendz, HEX, Uplexa, BAANX, UTNP, JINBI and many more. Isn't it better for you to go to the deadcoins[dot]com to get a lot of list about the scam coin? that will be a better place for you to get the whole list of scam coins. It may not 100% accurate but that's more than enough.

Over one thousand verified scam project. Scammer is everywhere and that sucks.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance price prediction for 2020 on: January 24, 2020, 11:18:24 AM
I don't agree with it until there will be the next big news for us. IEO on binance has already lost a lot of demand and binance must search another idea to bring back the demand again to buy BNB massively like what already done when there was a big hype on binance IEO.
But it looks like possible caused by the quarter burn will be always happening.
It looks like the current movement still pegged with bitcoin and we can't expect a huge price for binance at the end of this year.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 12.5% Tax on Real Bitcoin on: January 24, 2020, 07:56:06 AM
So, BCH is the real bitcoin  Grin
Roger is Satoshi  Cheesy He does not like Bitcoin anymore because he has found the most decentralized chain BCH.
The real decentealized shitcoin miners have to pay 12.5% taxes on each block reward  Cheesy That's for developing firm from Hong Kong. The tax will be affective from May.
Enjoy the network, decentralized network.
BCH is not a real bitcoin, BCH is only a fraction of his son BCH and not a bitcoin maker who created BCH because from the beginning of the emergence of the Sathosi from old times until now nobody knows. So the BCH project had a personal person. And I think the tax is too big if every block has to pay 12.5% every transaction, although it is safe, I think enough burden people to use it transact. So what about you guys about who actually mastermind all this?

What do you mean safe?

The miners should be asked fairly whether the tax will be implemented or not, or whether it will be reduced or not. It should be coming from a consensus and not just from the few rich elites withing the BCH mining community.
Just because Roger crap was who the first issued the bitcoin fork proposal and it doesn't mean if he can control anything. I doubt if that will be implemented caused by i don't even see that the article has already mentioned the word to create a new proposal for the tax voting purpose. The fact that the bitcoin cash team especially roger ver and his friends were taking the advantage from this crap coin.
Miners must have another choice to leave this coin and try to mine cryptonight coin which is much better than BSV. This is just like the team was cheating the community.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 12.5% Tax on Real Bitcoin on: January 23, 2020, 11:37:36 PM
This step confirms that bch is not decentralized rather it is a centralized and controlled coin where policies and rules can be changed anytime, i do not think there is space for such dictatorship based decisions in decentralized world of cryptocurrencies, i think this forced tax will definitely hurt both bch trading as well as mining market.
A better point from this case if roger and BCH team act as the next modern IRS. What i still don't understand is about will the taxation be done through vote?
This is not a decentralized coin since it was created by roger ver and why didn't ver just sold all of his million bitcoin and BCH to funding the BCH team that is still doing development to the protocol.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still possible to invent certain Altcoin that can be better than Bitcoin? on: January 23, 2020, 04:08:39 PM

As the subject goes, can we expect the newly developed Altcoin that can go beyond Bitcoin?

Why are people always thinking about creating or wishing that an Altcoin can go better beyond what Bitcoin can do for us. Mostly, people do keep on comparing those type of cryptocurrency that must not be because they do possess their own unique use and value for the daily lives of the people who believes in it. Also, what can we ask more for Bitcoin? It has already a wide range of usage and is the most popular and trusted cryptocurrency we can have in this industry. Instead of creating Altcoins that can go better than Bitcoin, why don't we just brainstorm on creating and generating ideas on how we can help the world to resolve its existing problems by using the modern technology to provide modern solutions in which we can use cryptocurrency.  It can be possible to create such Altcoin but what will be the real essence of doing such when we already have Bitcoin that have wide range of usage and already existing Altcoins that can fill up those that cannot be catered by Bitcoin alone.
If he was a newcomer and that's not a problem to talk about this caused by he was not aware of the fact. This can be seen from the various perspective as there is a lot of aspects that need to be considered before.
Bitcoin and altcoin have their own advantages and some people may still think if altcoin can go beyond than bitcoin and for me, that's not a big problem.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin & Its Momentum on: January 23, 2020, 12:01:48 PM
And now we can see the correction of the Bitcoin price is happening so that makes the price of Bitcoin fall again to $8500. But I think this is only a short correction and in the next moment I am sure Bitcoin will increase dramatically to 10k.
That looks like a short correction as the price support of bitcoin is really strong. We have some good analysis like this one
We have seen bitcoin can be pumped anytime and this is just the early game of halving and there will be more pump to come just like litecoin. I will never doubt to believe if bitcoin will have the same pump as litecoin when it was faced its halving time last year. Just try to put 10k as the next pit stop and that's more than enough.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still possible to invent certain Altcoin that can be better than Bitcoin? on: January 23, 2020, 06:26:41 AM
No i don't think so, what makes every other coins better than bitcoin is already available in many new altcoins and still yet they never took over bitcoin's crown, bitcoin will remain the mother of all coins forever
I think this is just a trust factor, where the world community or Crypto lovers trust Bitcoin more than Altcoin, even though Altcoin is present with various advanced features. Bitcoin remains the mother of all Crypto, but we are also thankful for the presence various kinds of Altcoin which can be an alternative for us in making transactions.
It's not caused by the trust factor but when you are seeing the latest review from the legal perspective about the comparison between bitcoin and altcoin and you will know a lot of differences.
Remember bitcoin can also be considered as the alternative for the gold and its utility coin on its blockchain. None controlled bitcoin makes it able to be compliance with the regulation while altcoin still stuck at the regulation and utility usage. it's much better to know the difference. Bitcoin has not been getting the trust only but it was having intrinsic value;
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum About to Break Out of a 2-Year Bear Market? on: January 23, 2020, 01:51:42 AM
Crypto markets are holding steady for another day following a slight pullback from their recent rally. Ethereum is still looking strong but can it finally pull out of its two-year bear market?
It can and why not? so many people have started to put their big expectation to the ethereum and as you can see that if the fact that we are facing the big update of ethereum. that can be a big bet for everyone, especially for the investors to get in the ethereum market. 2-year market is about to break out. I see strong support on ethereum market especially after the announcement of the next upgrade.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would it take for XRP to become widely used as a payment method? on: January 22, 2020, 04:06:13 PM
The truth is this: not this:

I just hope that OP will see the truth that is happening right now if even the partnership who will use xrapid didn't even interested to use ripple as a payment system. Honestly, i like your picture. That looks very nice and matched with the fact that happened in our real life.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Coin completes its 10th token burn worth $3.9 M USD on: January 22, 2020, 11:05:11 AM
Damn, now i feel sad not buying bnb token when i can, this continuous burning off tokens will definitely have huge impact on the price, but the fact that bnb token is only useful on binance platform makes me lose interest
It's not a too late dude to buy BNB again as it has a lot of coins that need to be burned again in the future. When you can understand what means if the utility coin and you will never say like that. Based on your last statement you just tell me that if you didn't understand what means of utility purpose. Binance was doing that to make its own platform will be more useful.
The dumb developer will never try to make its own platform become useful and start to generate revenue.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy Bitwings ICO token? on: January 22, 2020, 06:16:19 AM
Do not listen to people saying bad things about bitwings, its one of the best project of 2018 and the teams are very hardworking, even if the exchange they use is low rated exchange i find it hard to believe that bitwings won't do well in the market because I've never seen a active team project like bitwings team
People are feeling care about OP and that's better to never try to make him lose his amount caused by the crap project. Did you give any guarantee if OP gets a loss from there? We have so many good choices in the market and why do we need to bet on a new project that is still not yet proven itself. p2pb2b makes it even worst. You can't even prove it and how you can say if that was a good project.
We will see what will be happening with bitwings after it listed on crap exchange site. it will be actually getting zero volume and demand.  Cheesy
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some exchanges charges are too high on: January 21, 2020, 11:14:30 PM
How many exchanges you know of that have too high withdrawal fee? I was shocked that Dcoin exchange wants 0.001 for any bitcoin withdrawal you want to make while other exchanges charges only 5000 Satoshi for bitcoin withdrawal, I was forces to exchange my bitcoin for litecoin before getting my coins out
I have also experienced the same thing several times due to high fees. I forget the name, which is clearly a new exchange, I use the exchange because of the reward bounty. Well, usually I move it to another exchange after exchanging it for more general coins. Although fees are also affected by your gas price and nominal withdrawal, each exchange has its own rules regarding withdrawal fees. Here are a few comparisons:

There is something wrong with it about the kucoin fees and it was charged 100k satoshi for bitcoin withdrawal. Almost all of the exchange sites were putting this amount as the withdrawal fees. I think if OP wanna get a small fee and then just try to convert it into ethereum and im always using this way to get small fees. That chart needs to be updated.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: By now, is it worth to invest in major altcoins for the long term? on: January 21, 2020, 02:43:15 PM
major altcoins ? such as ETH,LTC,XRP ? it can be true,so far they go down since the last 3 years, but not for all, such as coin based exchange like BNB,OKB,HT,KCS growly well.
so i have no idea, did u will believe it or not, it depend  on you.
It depends on the developer and what we can do to take the right point to enter the market. Remember those who have bought major coin on the peak price have been getting a big lost as it was going down more than 50% from ATH. OP means about it's not always the right decision to say you must always make your bet on the major coin while at the same time some coins from the low marketcap are still offering a huge chance to do a comeback again. I do agree with what already did by OP.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of a bounty manager. on: January 21, 2020, 10:13:21 AM
Bounty manager is an extension of the team to manage their bounty project, and of course we as bounty participants also cannot 100% blame the bounty manager, if indeed the project fails and is fraudulent, because to my knowledge the managers are also paid when the project is finished unless the manager who handles bounty projects with BTC fees usually there will be someone who acts as an escrow so that payments for bounty participants will be guaranteed, but if the project pays with coin ico of course the manager will get paid after the project is complete and all spreadsheet data has been sent to the project team, but if the project is fraudulent, of course the manager will usually not get paid the same as the bounty participants.
How do you know if the manager was getting paid before managing the campaign? as far as I know that bitcoin campaign is really different from the altcoin campaign. In bitcoin campaign, there was a lot of managers who are putting escrow as the first requirement before he starts his job but in altcoin campaign, the manager will be getting paid after the end of the bounty campaign. Remember so many altcoin campaigns were using their free tokens to pay the hunters and manager. Not all of the team from altcoin can be trusted as they were not even sending the token to the escrow but they are all of the control over the tokens and this make altcoin bounty campaign just like a bit bet for the participants and manager.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What about WAVES? No one talks about it anymore! on: January 21, 2020, 05:33:45 AM
Waves might be waiting for the right time, I hope they will not give it up this easy as they were too good before that is able to compete with ETH. They need to be innovative at this time.
Waves has gone up 100% at the end of 2019, and now it is still in the support zone, if Waves cannot survive at 9k satosi, then a dump will occur again

I think one thing they should do is run a sig campaign here in the forum. Maybe it will remind crypto users that waves is still here. They already migrate their exchange to, but still they are lagging behind. They should have done the promotional programs for this new exchange as it might attract some traders who don't know that they are already centralized.
It will not help a lot as the reputation of the waves platform has already destroyed. It's better if the team appears to its announcement thread and then the team must try to give feedback for the whole of the scam accusations that have already made by so many people who have been getting a big loss caused by crap management by the waves platform.
I see some people were still complaining about the waves announcement thread and there were so many negative reviews about this platform. Ths advertising campaign just will help this platform to get the new victims.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin’s Next Peak May ‘Only’ Be $80,000, Says Analyst on: January 20, 2020, 03:55:52 PM
That prediction is not something new in crypto and some people were even predicting bitcoin to be reached million dollars in this year. They just try to build the mentality that may give a huge impact on the market as people will feel good about that and they will try to buy more and more crypto. Basically, this idea is not something wrong but they must come with a sense rate rather than putting a huge target that impossible to be achieved by bitcoin in a short time. Just respect it.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 66% of all Bitcoin ATMs globally are in the US, is that an issue? on: January 20, 2020, 10:32:47 AM
So I came across this article that states in a recent study that the US has over 66% of all bitcoin ATMs globally, and if you extend that to North America it's over 77%.

Do you think this is an issue? Since the rest of the world is lagging behind? Or do you think that Bitcoin ATM's are not needed for mass adoption? If you want to read the article in full, the link is below.

It's needed to create more awareness and adoption but as far as i know, the problem to use bitcoin atm is still on the fees that some people are still thinking if the fees are too much. We have various way to withdraw our money not only form bitcoin ATM but we can do that through various service too. If a lot of bitcoin atms are based on the south america and that's not a new thing because bitcoin is very familiar there. As far as i know, so many merchants have already adopted crypto as payment too especially in brazil and Argentina.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: UTRUST on: January 20, 2020, 05:37:25 AM
Where are the developers of Utrust? The project looks like the left desert, I don't want to add one more shitcoin to the burning address.
You had to think about this before you bought this token. In principle, the purchase of tokens not during the ISO period is speculation and not investment, so there is one simple answer - it's my fault), you had to keep the funds in $$$
I don't accept this investment as a fault. The project was promsiing way back to 2017-2018, I don't feel guilty about investing in the Utrust. I am sure no one will complain of this thread if the Utrust hit the $5 per token.

$5 per token? Nice joke. Whats reason for this? I don't see any. There is no any adoption or some revolutionary payment system. Its impossible to see even previous ATH price
Current ticker UTRUST (UTK) is prices around $0.0094 and the ATH price was around $1.19. If something big news hit the crypto market, the prices of ATH can be doubled or even tripled. In that case, I don't doubt the UTRUST will be the exclusion, $5 is not impossible for $1.18 ATH coin.

It's impossible with the current condition of utrust right now. The only product that we can use it perfectly is just the wallet and no more. Remember while so many competitors have already released their card and payment gateway but this one still never get end to deal with the development of the wallet.
I have even used VC service from another project that is working on the same field as this project. $5 an impossible rate to be reached by this one. We are talking about the fact right now.
I said that  even ATH is not possible. It was on bullrun and people had big hopes for this platform. But as we can see now this seems were just empty promises (
I think nothing is impossible, it could just utrust touch the price of 5 $ at a time. And utrust holders certainly hope the same thing if someday utrust will touch the new ATH and start to rise again after a few months the price decreases.
Of course, anything is possible. But I would not have forecasted only $ 5. You need to take a lot of $ 10 is the minimum that you can havle new hamsters. The lower the price to forecast, the fewer hamsters will become long-term holders
