1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This 29-year-old is in charge of JPMorgan crypto strategy on: May 21, 2018, 09:14:49 AM
After all the negative vibe from its CEO, JPMorgan is all
set to trade cryptocurrencieshttps://crypto-lines.com/2018/05/18/jpmorgan-crypto-strategy/
Not only JP Morgan but even nasdaq has planted to launch its crypto currency trading platform. We are still at the beginning of mass adoption to the cryptocurrency. I heard more companies are interested in joined crypto currecy business plan. This is only the beginning and we should expect more in the future.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: looking at prices that continue to fall, people are afraid to buy crypto today on: May 21, 2018, 09:12:47 AM
me or anyone else, maybe a little afraid to buy crypto at the moment, the price movement seems to go down, what should I do, whether I buy or not at this time, please give your opinion
what the name of site that you have visited? Do you see the latest chart of the cryptocurrency? A little jump has already happened. The down trend should give you the best opportunity to load more and more altcoin. if you are afraid to lose and you will never get any profit from there and don't expect a lot to buy anything. Invest the amounts that you afford to loss.
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining Altcoins ? on: May 21, 2018, 09:10:48 AM
Are mining rigs available in your region?
What about the electricity cost and weather?
Where are you from?Do you even read the thread?

Hey guys,
I am planning to mine altcoins in the next year. What do you think, is it worth the time and capital ?

It depends on the cost of electricity in your country or area and if it is good then you can mine the altcoins by choosing the right altcoin for mining otherwise it is not wise decision to mine the altcoins. You better go for Bitcoin mining as it is highly recommended to give you good returns in mining business comparing to other altcoin mining based on their cost of production. I prefer to go for cloud mining because of pool mining is not been practiced on a high scale in our country as the cost of electricity is really high.
You should try to read the latest news again about that, how the majority of miners are getting frustated caused by asic miners. mining is not worth anymore. MN or staking will be much better compared with mining. Longterm ROI, wasted a lot of energy, ASIC domination. All of them already enough to be the reasons why mining is not profitable anymore.

1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICOs of 2018? on: May 18, 2018, 03:33:26 PM
What ICOs are you guys looking at for the latter half of 2018?

Also which ones do you see hitting exchanges soon and doing well?
Bubbletone and open platform token. Both have very big communities behind it. They will be doing well just like zilliqa and ontology. But the market doesn't look good right now. If they are hitting exchange site right now and there will be only short hype for both of tokens. You should take a look on both of icos.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: China ranked ethereum as #1 and it has been dumping hard ever since? on: May 18, 2018, 03:31:38 PM
https://bitcoinist.com/china-release-cryptocurrency-ratings-ranks-ethereum-1st-bitcoin-13th/

there was some commotion about this and they finally named ethereum as number one!!! and as soon as they did this everyone started dumping ETH....

why do you think that is? was this a confirmation of its centralization?
dumping for what? the majority of cryptos are only following bitcoin. Remember the dump from the mtgox has started and it looks like it will take the more time to the market to get recovered.
This dump caused by bitcoin and how terrible mtgox is.

I guess that's only based on the vote and you are talking a joke of you think related to the centralization.
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think of Eth? on: May 18, 2018, 09:15:18 AM
The coin circle has suffered a new round of black swan events. What do you think of Eth, whether to continue to hold or to sell.

HODL alone for eth coin, however ethereum still has the potential of reaching a better price than last year, maybe you could sell part of it when the ethereum reaches the new ATH.
remove the thought to sell eth at current prices
HODL

i think HODL too.
end of 2018 i am waiting really a big pump in markets and eth will be 1500s

Some people are expecting another update to the POS transition will be happened at the end of this year. Vitalik still not putting any ETA to the when the next hardfork will be held by the team.
$1500 looks so easy after pos transition consider ol ATH of ethereum was $1450
1008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will FunFair keep rising? +15% on: May 18, 2018, 09:13:38 AM
Fun was pumped to 25% last night on Binance. I did sell out 100% waiting to buy back in. No coins stay green for days/weeks with this low market cap and no new money comming in. So all i do now is swing trading and taking profit when my coins goes in green 10/30%

I do like the project but not really know what to expect from them in the future.

https://twitter.com/FunFairTech/status/996740025193779200
Funfair's future will depend on the product. Remember the team was aiming to build the future casinos. I know there are some competitors to funfair just like bitdice and many more casinos or gambling coin.
Remember every casinos projects are almost the same one to each other. The future of casinos project can be predicted if the product will be rolling out.
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A DECENTRALIZED WORLD IN YOUR Mobile on: May 18, 2018, 09:09:03 AM
If you go directly to htcexodus website, here is what they say:

Quote
Every Phone is A Node

Providing more nodes on the path to true decentralization. We want to double and triple the number of nodes of Ethereum and Bitcoin.

Source: https://www.htcexodus.com/

The highlighted part is very interesting, but I don't really understand the true meaning behind those words. Are they planning to turn every phone into a bitcoin (lightweight) node?
It could be right, they are speculating to doubled the number of nodes of ether and bitcoin means HTC has an initianion to make every phone can become a light node to ethereum. But it looks like this will never be happened to the ethereum because ethereum will be moving to the POS system very soon.
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Get Back Send Eth To New Contract? on: May 18, 2018, 09:06:49 AM
This morning I made a mistake and while sending ethereum to address I accidentally put it into the memo and leave blank the recipient part.

Long story short, my address created a contract and my eth is on it right now.

How can i claim back?

Here you can check from tx: https://etherscan.io/tx/0x0dbec3c3f7659c9ad5cd67c25b02f85fd5579b53db6044c806fbc58ee6f0da78
I just know a little bit about that but as long as you can logged it to the contract address and you can get back your amount. But this is only the possibility if you can't do anything with it and i'm sorry for your lost.
When you are creating a contract and i assume you will have access to the your contract. maybe i'm wrong about that.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Alts are being held back by BTC on: May 16, 2018, 03:42:09 PM
Etheruem is starting to have a mind of its own!
BTC is struggling!
Saying that BTC STILL has the potential to take this market to hell!
If HELL comes ( BTC sub 7K or worse) the market will rise without BTC dictating the tune.
Opinion only BUT a possibility!
I guess, market is quite stable right now. Look at 3 days chart and how bitcoin was getting dump to the around $8k and it will be pumping back again to the $8,3k and this is just like a game dude.
Ethereum looks have a better performance than bitcoin but bitcoin still drive anything right now.
1012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Make altcoin or token be valuable? on: May 16, 2018, 03:23:20 PM
I still confused about what makes token become expensive. Except for supply-demand, what else which caused some token like erc20 become valuable? I look at about how to create ethereum token and I think almost all of them have the same quality, and security. So what's the answer? what make them so valuable?
The answer is the quality of the development behind the token. This development process will make the token will be very valuable. Look at binance token and how it can be used to get 50% discount if you will be interesting to use the binance exchange site service. it has so many reason to make the token will become very valuable.
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever burned some coins or tokens? on: May 16, 2018, 03:15:41 PM
You know, when you send some coins into nirvana, they're lost forever - decreasing the supply of said token/coin. Have you ever deliberately burned some of your coins or tokens? What coin was it and why did you do it?
I haven't, there was no reason to burn my token. It's the same as burning my money to the nirvana. I have tried to send shit token to the default address and i just try to do that to erase these shit tokens from my wallet because it makes my wallet so ugly dude. As far as i know when you are sending your coin to the default address and it will not decrease the circulating supply and it will be useless,
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA will be #3 in market cap by the end of 2018 on: May 16, 2018, 02:46:14 PM
IOTA runs on DAG system. Other cryptocurrencies run on blockchain system. DAG system is quite different from blockchain system.  I prefer blockchain system more.
Because the blockchain system is more decentralized compared with IOTA which use the server to keep the decentralized of the network(they said this as decentralized)
Maybe the blockchain system charge the more fees compared with IOTA but all seem good for me compared with DAG which has controlled by developer.
1015  Economy / Economics / Re: Wonder how many people can hold BTC for more than 3 years on: November 16, 2017, 09:52:05 AM
Hi,

I'm sure there's still people to this day holding them since the beginning some of them might forgot about them and some actually want it to go to 10k+, but jeez you'd need ALOT of patience for that because most of us would think the bubble is gonna pop any time.
There are not many people who could actually be able to hold the coins for such a long time .this is obviously possible in the case of early adopters that have seen all the stages a btc has passed though since the time it was introduced in the market of digital assets. So they know that the selling of Btcs would only provide them disadvantage and if they would keep hold of the coins for a long time then it would definitely earn them huge profits in the end.
Agree with this, there'll always some price pump that distract people from holding their bitcoin for such a long time, 3 years is just too much of a long time and if people who holds that btc don't have that much of faith to bitcoin or in the state of doubtfulness with their investment, a little bit of price pump could lure them to sell all of their assets. That's why only very few of early adopters becoming millionaires right now.
1016  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Taxes on: November 16, 2017, 09:49:02 AM
I don't see a reason to pay taxes for my crypto coin investment incomes.
Nobody know how much i earn and no need to pay taxes. Until i turn to cash there is no reason to pay tax.

But majority of people who uses cryptocurrencies ended up converting their coins to their local currency and it's actually will be included as their income or additional income, therefore
it can be included or taxed to your bills.
However if you're citizen of a country, you should obey their rules and one of them is paying taxes. even if it's like robbing your income.
1017  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulating Bitcoin on: November 16, 2017, 06:29:42 AM
Cryptocurrency has been widely criticised for lack of regulation. Do you think it is possible to come up with a regulatory framework around Bitcoin?

Wishing that someday ICO can be regulated by a certain organization so that Scam ICO can be determine easily. By that, Scam ICO can be Avoided.
Just even if that happen, some of ICO will be held underground, maybe people who's going to be scammed by untrusted ICO without reliability is decreasing significantly.
but some of people may still be scammed, as those ICO using a currency which its nature is decentralized, it's like holding people from selling drugs but they still do it.
1018  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin can never go past $7000 on: November 16, 2017, 05:55:44 AM
Probably not for this year bitcoin can pass $7000. Possible in 2018 bitcoin will reach $8000 or maybe even more than that. Be patient and wait for its development.
It's already passed $7000 which mean this year bitcoin already achieve that but unfortunately gets dumped again, bitcoin's new ATH is $7500 and it's such a record before $6000 ATH.
this rate also reached within 2 weeks or more if I'm not mistaken, that's how awesome bitcoin could be in terms of price volatility.
1019  Economy / Economics / Re: Yes or No? Doesn't Bitcoin unfairly benefit early adopters? on: November 15, 2017, 11:52:37 AM
Yes or No?    Doesn't Bitcoin unfairly benefit early adopters?
It's not actually unfair. In fact, bitcoin is a fair network, imo. No one really expected that bitcoin will be reaching its $7,000-mark this year, not even Satoshi Nakamoto. Those who haven't invested in bitcoin when its price was still $1.00 way back in 2011 might feel disappointed, but for those who invested, this is the fruit of their investment.

I think, it's the people's trust which make a difference in bitcoin's fate, and it is safe to say that those people were the ones who actually benefited from bitcoin's success.
Things just works the same like to those people who invest into Apple and Google, Bitcoin giving a chance for many people to become a millionaire but unfortunately many of them missed it because they have no faith with bitcoin. and as you pointed out,it's the fruit of their investment, those early adopters investing their time and money to bitcoin with risky, but why people just think bitcoin unfairly benefit early adopters. that actually just doesn't make sense at all.
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope you guys won't fall for this BCH joke on: November 15, 2017, 07:20:31 AM
I got caught by the pump & dump, but fortunately got out without losing too much.

Many are also got trick by bch. One of my friends got by this like when he saw that bch is in uptrend he immediately bought some but unfortunately misses the peak like for hours it was  a roller coaster ride and he loses 0.3 btc. He was so disappointed from it like he didn't expected that it will easily dumped after it was pumped hard. And he was a victim of hype and drama that manipulated by the Chinese and Jihan Wu and co. And bch now is in silent mode and I can say it was nice try for all of them for attempting bringing bitcoin down.
So many people have spoken lately that this BCH pumps is merely a bubble, it can explode anytime as if the whales want to because its manipulated market, what do you expect more?
your friend atleast will learn from it as his precious past experience which cost him a lot. Sometimes learning is painful and costly.
