Why is it in the past 24 hrs almost all of the altcoins is going down atleast 10 percent in value even though bitcoin's price is steady at $2.5k. Is it contrary or something is really happening. Any thoughts?

well if you are thinking for a long term investment this two assets are the best to hold as the value will possible to keep rising and rising from time to time, there's some fluctuations and downfall but for sure the value will survive and its bring big fortune in returned. The gold is the asset that is acquired by the rich people from ages it has a history and it is a symbol of wealth. The bitcoin on the other hand is very much young compare to the gold but is considered as a digital asset and I am sure a time will come when the bitcoin will be a wealth symbol. Are you forgetting if the gold as a real commodity since long time ago? It's not a symbol of wealth but as the value of the art. Bitcoin to make a solution for the digital problem. I think the best coin for long term investment is bitcoin itself. But you can try to invest in stratis or ethereum token that will give the more chance for you to take decent benefit from your long term investment

Don't take hitbtc for seriously. The hit btc just offer the future trade, i mean about IOU token. The coin will be locked up to 7 days after the crowdsale of status project. That means the status token is not transferable right now. |

Too many coin is a good for the longterm investment, But If you're looking the good coin for trading and just try to get the coin with a lot of volatility to support your trading. That gives the more opportunity for you to take the more profit. I think top 20 marketcao is realiable coin for you. |

Hello all, I started mining about 2 monts ago, all was great. Now I finished my eth 3 days ago, and It's still not on my poloniex account. I use dwartpool, they told me this: at the moment transactions are very slow, please note, the eth-network is overloaded ceacouse of the new contracts with IPO, regrads.
Please someone help me, and tell me whats going on. :/
You can try to mine another coin that gives an alternative way for you to get income. We know that the ethereum network is not stable right now due to the hype for ico. Remember there will be a big ico at the end of this month and the network will be unstable to take a lot of tx. |

For those seeing ethereum as a good hedge against Bitcoin, look at the market right now. The whole crypto shakes when Bitcoin crashes.
We know that the price of altcoins are pegged with bitcoin, if the bitcoin gets shaken and all of altcoin gets impact by bitcoin too. But in my opinion, if ethereum is good to be as the silver for crypto. And not for litecoin itself. |

I've got both a fair ammount of waves & Stratis, I think they're both great platforms but personally I like Stratis a bit more
The stratis will be more reasonable to invest in. The stratis gives a lot of the profit for the holders. But i didn't find something is useful in my opinion for the public users. I will need to take the more reasearch about it. |
