Hype doesn't mean nothing only the newies care about and buy on the hype train which is why you should go and have a word with yourself, maybe go get some fresh air and cheer up. Yeah yeah, you paid to much so learn from it and be a man not a cry baby  Cry

You can cry as you like. It helps sooo much. I feel bad that I sold to you. Sorry. But everybody needs to learn. I learned my lesson with waves 😞

There is a great thing in life and that is to be able to read. I suggest you attempt it sometime.

That aside and moving on from  Cry and people that cannot read. The price is clearly controlled to be where it is so just enjoy the ride and buy more if you believe in the project and Max. I do think he seems genuine and someone that can make connections. LISK has a bright future.

say you're sorry please
 Huh Cry Cry

Why is everybody so damn impatient....of course the value of the coin goes down as long as there are no big news or projects to announce.
This company is in a very early stage with a bright future ahead, no doubt about it. That doesn't happen overnight though, the team needs time. And if a damn blog article isn't released as promised I'm happy, 'cause that means Max got more important things to do than writing about a trip to China.

It's your own fault imo if you've bought your coins for anything other than as a longterm investment.

I was under the impression this was a reiteration of crypti, since the dev team is pretty much the same.
This is not some company that just popped up.

Crypti was never a company was it and thus it is a company that has just popped up and is going to take this where crypti couldn't be taken. Things take time and you was never going to become rich over night with this project so sorry if you believed all the hype from dumb asses but it is what it is and that is what above has said, a long term investment.

From the looks of it the hype is dying out faster than we thought.

Now you're just hurting my feelings  Cry
Stop please.  Cry Cry Cry

I have to say thanks to Max and the Lisk team because they are doing such of great Job, most of the icos fail, but Lisk still 4 times ico price, I have no doubt that Lisk will have his time to shine, Lisk will have his momentum, now is just the promise but its ok time will pas and Lisk will reach the sky!

You know how much LISK was in the sale right? 18K so times that by 4 and you get? What is the price now? Saying that the numbers really don't mean as much as people here are trying to make out. I mean don't hold if you need the btc just sell and move on.

+ 212 sat https://blog.lisk.io/lisk-ico-statistics-ac36fbb94fe3#.iish2rfa0

We bought Lisk in ICO at around 18k sats @ ~400 USD/BTC which is should be around 12k sats at current price so those who sell today are still in big profit at least those who got them during ICO.

what about the rest? are they completely f'd ?

...
so bottom line "don't buy after ICO or you'll get burned?"

When you bought your Lisk?
And what was the price?

3-4 weeks ago, around 80k

Come back a year and you wouldn't even regret buying at 80k sats or better yet you can buy again now cos the price is really dirt cheap right now.
I know it sucks to to see your investment reduce its value but investments has also risk that you need to take note of.

Totally ! Just remember that functionality and security is a most have on Lisk even if Lisk touches 15 cents do not sell, buy as much as u can because Lisk price will be very nice boys!

15 cents? seriously ?  Cry

He is spending more money to go to conference that nobody attempt:
Another waste of money:
https://twitter.com/MaxKordek/status/750976780928946176?lang=nl
Look there are only 80 people or so... how can you call that a conference? Ok, it is a conference but it won't add any value.

His own money...

I also have invested in Lisk during the ICO at 18k. Today LSK at 42k, no losses so far.

Great Job @Max. Thanks a lot!

Exactly, those that are complaining are the ones who bought the coins after the ICO but those who participated and believed in the coin during the ICO period has more than doubled their money even at this price range.

so bottom line "don't buy after ICO or you'll get burned?"

I really haven't heard any update with the ETA for the whitepaper or roadmap.
It is July 6th so can we get a date for these important items or will the LISK team continue to be willfully silent about an ETA for the month of July and we should assume that it will be more like August for these items to be released?

The whitepaper has been pushed back to July.

You know it's July already? Smiley

Not trying to troll but why is this taking so long? (whitepaper, china report, russia report, forging status, new bountys for developers etc)

Lisk started their Initial Coin Offering (ICO) on the 22nd of February 2016 ... 4 months later still no whitepaper?

Lisk had a whitepaper prior to the ICO which got taken down as it was outdated and needed improvements. The team has worked on the whitepaper and have a draft ready, although we feel it's not ready to be published. At the moment, the developers are neck deep into coding trying to stabilize the network so that we may enable forging rewards and hand the keys to the community.

When is the official Lisk new white paper going to be released? Can we read the historic white paper now? I can't seem to find any white paper of Lisk...

It was taken down quite awhile ago since it was doing more harm then good.

Why? What was in it?

What is the Oliver doing whilst the Max™ is the young vibrant strong force of LISK whose face is seen all over the wide world?  Is he happily coding along?

~CfA~

here you can keep an eye on them

They should focus on putting that damn paper out, that's the first thing everyone searches for when taking an interest in a coin. Bugs/patches/etc can come later.
Right now anyone that searches for Lisk white paper is redirected to an empty page.
That's bad, really bad for publicity.

I'd be shocked if any more than 5% of people would be interested in any white paper.
Some people (apparently you are one of them) has a hard-on for them, but the majority not even willing to read the basic facts about a coin if it's more than a few sentences, nevermind the whitepaper.

I like this, they should put your quote in the page of the white paper.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: July 06, 2016, 02:52:15 PM
In my experience whitepaper is something that none really cares about but if missing some people are always asking for it.

I think it's pretty clear it's all about prioritizing and resource managment. The thing about the whitepaper is someone has to write it. Who?

Oliver can do it, but at the moment he is the only core developer. He has a lot of coding to do. A lot, a lot. Urgent improvements needed, security fixes, forking issues fixed, and about a thousand others. And then we didn't even start talking about future development. Like making Lisk ready for blockchain apps.
He is also moving to another country in two weeks, while doing this.

I prefer that he didn't waste his time on a non consequential white paper instead of doing any of that.

Max can do it (at least from some input for Oliver I assume). He is traveling to conferences, setting up the non-profit organisation, offices, taking care of the hiring process, and I pretty sure a million other things.
The guy don't have enough time to write a blog post about his trip to china.
Should he take a few weeks to write the white paper instead of doing other stuff? I prefer not.

There are probably a few other people who could do it, but they would probably need to consult with Oliver along the way, they'd need to discuss it with Max, etc. It's not worth even this much time, IMHO.

I understand that crypto is like dog years x 100, but have a little patience. The people behind Lisk have a lot to do, chief amongst them is getting more people to those things.

But please remember that they still have no access to ICO funds, because it's not (fully) up to them how soon is the non profit corporation is set up.

Anyone who has any real world experience knows that this is a period when the least amount of progress is shown for the time and money but into things. As soon as they have money, offices, additional staff (and they are up to date), things will start happening much faster.

Putting it simply the foundation is poured, and at the moment we are watching the concrete dry. It's boring as hell, but it's necessary.

Who knows, I mean if they are so sure about what Lisk does why do they stall the white paper?
It should come out naturally.
